In an effort to reduce increasing number of Covid-19 spread, currently, majority ofstudents from early childhood education to universities are undergoing online learning. There are various learning management systems (LMS) as well as social media digital platforms that can be utilized by teachers and students to carry out online learning, one of which is Google Classroom. By applying the recitation or assignment method through Google Classroom, it is found that student learning independence has not been formed optimally. This research aims to describe how student learning independence is viewed from the application of the assignment method in the specific case of Islamic education subject during online learning through Google Classroom. This is descriptive qualitative research which collects data from interviews with six subjects who regularly use Google Classroom application as a learning medium and assignments. The six subjects interviewed consist of teachers and college students. This study shows that Google Classroom is considered quite effective as an assignment medium because it could be accessed anywhere and anytime and saved storage. However, in terms of independencestudent skill, it is tend to not work as expected. Therefore, more efforts are required by the teachers to give students motivation and increase the awareness to develop independent learning skills of students.

Technology and information are important instruments that must be present in online learning during a pandemic that can determine the effectiveness of biology learning which has an impact on student learning outcomes. The effectiveness of online learning during the pandemic in MAN 2 Jember is known to be 65.8% of students' opinions about the effectiveness of learning biology are not effective, 68.4% of students do not agree with the implementation of learning biology using technology online, and there are 7 students who experience an increase in presentation and  19 decreased perfomance in achievement in student biology learning in the mist of COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive research with a survey approach. The research objects are students and teachers. The instrument used was a questionnaire regarding the process of learning outcomes in biology with the technical data analysis used in this study was to count the number of respondents answers to each question. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of technology used on student learning outcomes in MAN 2 Jember in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, with the existence of online biology learning processes, there are still deficiencies in understanding biological material, and deficiencies in the application of information technology. So that with this research, teachers and students are expected to be able to better master the material and technology so that they can adapt well to the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. Keyword: COVID-19, the influence of technology, learning outcomes Teknologi dan informasi merupakan instrumen penting yang harus ada dalam pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi yang dapat menentukan keefektifan pembelajaran biologi yang berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Efektivitas Pembelajaran daring di masa Pandemi di MAN 2 Jember diketahui 65,8% pendapat dari siswa efektivitas pembelajaran biologi tidak efektif, 68,4% siswa tidak setuju dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran biologi menggunakan teknologi secara daring, dan  terdapat 7 siswa mengalami kenaikan dalam presentasi dan 19 penurunan prestasi dalam hasil belajar biologi siswa di tengah pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deksriptif dengan pendekatan survey. Objek penelitian adalah siswa dan guru. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner mengenai proses hasil belajar terhadap mata pelajaran biologi dengan teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menghitung jumlah jawaban responden dari setiap pertanyaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan teknologi terhadap hasil belajar siswa di MAN 2 Jember di tengah pandemi COVID-19. Maka dari itu dengan adanya proses pembelajaran biologi secara daring masih terdapat kekurangan dalam pemahaman materi biologi, dan kekurangan pada pengaplikasian teknologi informasi. Sehingga dengan adanya penelitian ini guru dan siswa diharapkan mampu untuk lebih menguasai materi dan teknologi agar dapat beradaptasi dengan baik pada proses pembelajaran di masa pandemi COVID-19. The essence of digitization is rooted in almost all the field in daily routine of every individual, thoroughly. Digital inclusions in education have not been very focused in the past in developing countries like India. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, even schools at primary level education also started using digital platforms for transmitting knowledge. It is due to the advancement in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ITC) that exchange of knowledge between teachers and students never stopped. In this study, the researcher has focused on evaluating the perception of students towards online learning and analyzing the impact of it on their perceived satisfaction from such electronic plinth. A model was developed taking perceived satisfaction as dependent variable while technology, instructor’ role, student’s role, interaction and class management as independent variable. A total of 233 valid responses were collected from graduate and post graduate students of commerce and management from Varanasi city using 5-point Likert scale standard questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis revealed that instructor’s role and student’s role were found significant affecting perceived satisfaction. The study suggested that rather than getting distracted due to unfriendly disturbances in the teaching environment, instructor should focus on attitude development, timeliness and quick response, solving queries and providing feedback to students. Students should give more stress on attitude development and self-motivation. The study will be a great help to the institutions in strengthening their learning environment and further improve learner satisfaction.

This study aims to analyze: (1) The ability of MTs students. Private Zakiyun Najah Sei Rampah in learning independently during online learning, (2) Model and application of online learning at Zakiyun Najah Private School, (3) constraints on the application of online learning at MTs Zakiyun Najah Sei Rampah. This research uses qualitative research methods, based on descriptive studies. With data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the independent learning of students through online learning is created slowly; this is due to the various limitations possessed by teachers and students. The model and application of online learning is carried out by providing subject matter through assignments given through remote arak with the android application system, WA and video calls. Many obstacles faced by students in implementing online learning include ownership of an android, network limitations, and the inability to buy packages.

ABSTRACT Education is the process of changing the attitude and behavior of a person or group for the better through teaching / guidance and training. In the process, the teacher plays an important role in the delivery of material so that it has an influence on the success of their students. The subject learning of PAI (Islamic education) at MIN 1 Langsa is currently less effective and efficient due to the Covid-19 pandemic (corona virus disease) which makes teachers and students unable to meet face to face directly. Students asked to learn from home using online media.Online learning is undirect face-to-face learning between teachers and students by accessing internet networks and using social media to interact or exchange information. This study aims to describe the online learning of Islamic Education lessons at MIN 1 Langsa. The research approach is descriptive qualitative using primary and secondary data sources. The data collection uses the method of observation, documentation and interviews. The analysis of data using reduction, display data and conclusion.The result of the research showed that online learning PAI lessons carried out at MIN 1 Langsa used the Whatsapp application. Students at home are accompanied by their parents in studying the material and exercises provided by their teachers through the Whatsapp application. Because learning is done online, teachers must be more thorough and focused in evaluating learning activities. Students also complained that they had difficulties with poor internet networks. Some of them also do not have cell phones based on Android and some are not proficient in using them, it is making the learning process ineffective.Keywords:            learning, online, students

Strategi adalah pendekatan secara keseluruhan yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan gagasan,perencanaan,dan eksekusi sebuah aktifitas dalam kurun waktu.Strategi sangat di perlukan guru dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Strategi pembelajaran merupakan serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran yang harus dikerjakan guru dan peserta didik agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai secara efektif dan efisien.Dengan demikian strategi menurupakan alat atau cara yang sangat ekektif dalam menumbuhkan mandiri belajar pada diri seorang peserta didik. Strategi belajar sangat penting bagi guru karena strategi akan mempermudah proses pembelajaran sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat di capai.Peserta didik belajar tidak hanya menerima pengetahuan itu begitu saja tetapi peserta didik juga harus mengolah pengetahuan tersebut dengan menggunakan akal pikiran yang mereka miliki.Dengan menggunakan strategi mandiri belajar peserta didik dapat menumbuhkan rasa ingin belajar dengan sendirinya. Strategi Mandiri belajar sendiri merupakan strategi yang bertujuan untuk membangun inisiatif individu, kemandirian, dan peningkatan kemampuan diri peserta didik.Strategi mandiri belajar ini bertujuan agar peserta didik mampu belajar mandiri dengan adanya dorongan dari dalam diri peserta didik untuk belajar dengan kemauan sendiri,pilihanya sendiri dan rasa tanggung jawab yang ada dalam diri peserta didik.Untuk mencapai tujuan dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kita perlu memahami aspek-aspek yang harus diperhatikan. Strategy is really needed by the teacher in growing student learning independence. Learning strategies are a series of learning activities that must be done by teachers and students so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently. Thus the strategy is a tool or a very effective way to foster independent learning in a student. Learning strategies are very important for teachers because the strategies will facilitate the learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved. Learners not only accept knowledge just like that but students must also process this knowledge by using the minds they have. By using an independent learning strategy students can foster a sense of learning by themselves. The Self-Study Strategy itself is a strategy that aims to build individual initiative, independence, and improvement of students' self-abilities. This independent learning strategy aims to make students able to learn independently with the encouragement from within the students to learn on their own accord, their own choice and a sense of responsibility that exists within students. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government issued a policy to change learning and teaching activities offline to online. However, there are still many obstacles experienced by teachers and students in implementing online learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the level of readiness of elementary school teachers, especially low-grade teachers, in dealing with and implementing online learning and independent learning during the covid-19 pandemic. This research belongs to the type of evaluative research (evaluation study). The research data is in the form of verbal attitude statements from the subjects studied, namely elementary school teachers in low or early grades. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. The data that has been collected is then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the analysis of document study data and interviews showed that 70% of lower grade elementary school teachers as the research subjects tended to state that they were ready to carry out online learning and were free to learn for their students. This readiness is coupled with the expectation of the availability of online learning facilities for both teachers and students and training on the use of IT media for teachers to create smooth and innovative online learning. The implication is that even though learning is carried out online by adhering to independent learning according to existing provisions, the process and student learning outcomes will be maintained and carried out properly according to the expectations, which are also stated in the learning objectives.

The study focuses on ‘horizontal’ and ‘vertical’ adoption of e-learning strategies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong as revealed through computer log records in the centrally supported learning management systems. Horizontal diffusion refers to whether e-learning has spread to influence the practice of more teachers and students. In vertical diffusion, the authors examined whether or not teachers tend to adopt more varied online learning activities in successive years. The overall findings are that, while adoption of simple strategies is increasing, there is little evidence of horizontal and vertical diffusion of more complex strategies. Indeed, the use of some of the more complex strategies, which may relate to greater potential learning benefits, decreased. Results have led to discussions about new focuses and strategies for our institutional eLearning Service.

This paper aims to interpret the learning idealism of the Ekalawya figure in the Mahabharata and translate it as a reflection of the learning process in this era of the new order. The problematization between regulations and the real conditions of students has given implications for the implementation of online learning. There are many obstacles that arise, ranging from limited infrastructure, costs required and mastery of ICT, both from the teacher and student side. Refers to literary reception theory and hermeneutic methods, Ekalawya is a true disciple, his ideals such as unyielding, independence, discipline, teacher devotion, and making his yad as an obligation have led him to become a great archer. His learning experiences, such as; independent learning, obedience to the social rules of Catur Varna, respect for Drona as a teacher, and also the sincere offerings (daksina) in the form of his thumb. The limited interaction between teachers and students, hard work in doing assignments, independence and honesty of students in answering the evaluation questions, and respect that is maintained are a form of reflection on the learning experiences of Ekalawya in the era of the new order.

This article discusses how to teachers ensure further learning - post-learning in the emergency of the Covid-19 pandemic can effectively increase student ownership and engagement in online learning. Most educational institutions' closure resulted in a dramatic change in education, marked by the emergence of distinctive e-learning, where teaching was conducted remotely and on digital platforms. The transition in the education system impacts various stakeholders, especially teachers and students, in various ways. One of the issues surrounding students' engagement in schools and the learning process became a hot topic again, considering that recently all countries in the world have been targeted by the spread of the global pandemic Covid-19. There is almost no learning process without the engagement and activeness of learners in the process itself. Students engaged in their learning are energized by curiosity, originality, and satisfying relationships, leading to better academic achievement. Through the theoretical review and content analysis, the authors explained that the ownership and engagement of learners in online learning could be achieved by combining several strategies. Teachers need to reflect on these strategies and how each falls into this area of engagement.

The teaching and learning process is carried out from home by </em><em>all the</em><em> teachers and students without exception. Learning from home is known as online. One of the schools in Medan that uses an online system is </em><em>Perguruan Islam Miftahul Husna</em><em>. At t</em><em>his</em><em> school, there were many complaints from teachers and students when doing online learning which was considered boring </em><em>because of</em><em> reduced interaction between teacher and student. Learning media is needed to make learning process interactive and </em><em>interesting</em><em>. The media </em><em>that was </em><em>chosen</em><em> </em><em>must be media that keep students interested in learning and</em><em> </em><em>can be easily done by teachers. Kahoot application</em><em> was chosen because </em><em>can be used in any subject</em><em>,</em><em> provides benefits to students where they can be helped in recalling the material, making them more excited, not feeling bored and being able to participate actively in doing the exercises. This game raises competition </em><em>and</em><em> challenged </em><em>them </em><em>to be the best in class. Proses belajar mengajar dilakukan dari rumah baik oleh guru dan siswa tanpa terkecuali. Pembelajaran dari rumah ini dikenal dengan istilah daring. Salah satu sekolah dikota Medan yang menggunakan sistem daring adalah Perguruan Islam Miftahul Husna. Di sekolah tersebut banyak didapati keluhan dari guru maupun siswa saat melakukan pembelajaran daring yang dianggap membosankan karena berkurangnya interaksi antara guru dan murid. </em><em>Media </em><em>pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan untuk membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi interaktif dan menyenangkan. Media</em><em> yang </em><em>dipilih dalam pembelajaran daring haruslah media yang membuat para siswa tertarik belajar dan juga yang dapat dengan mudah dilakukan oleh para guru tentunya. Media Kahoot dipilih karena dapat digunakan dalam mata pelajaran apapun dan memberikan manfaat kepada siswa dimana dapat membantu dalam mengingat kembali materi belajar, membuat mereka lebih bersemangat, merasa senang, tidak merasa bosan dan dapat berpartisipasi dengan aktif dalam mengerjakan latihan-latihan. Game ini memunculkan kompetisi diantara para siswa sehingga mereka tertantang untuk menjadi yang terbaik di kelas. Dengan peningkatan minat dan motivasi ini, maka guru-guru dapat menjadikan Kahoot menjadi salah satu alternatif pembelajaran saat daring.</em><em></em></p><br /><div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -32px; top: 454px;"> </div>
