Mentally retarded children have below average intelligence. Limited ability makes it difficult to adapt, leading many parents to feel concerned that their children might be unable to interact socially. This study considers the 14 SDLB students at the Bahagia Tasikmalaya Foundation SLB, and aims to determine the relationship between parenting styles and the emotional dynamics of parents on the one hand, with the social interactions of mentally retarded children on the other hand. This research used a quantitative type method with a cross sectional approach, applied to 126 mentally retarded students. The sample used was random sampling with the Slovin formula so that 96 samples were collected with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study showed that out of 96 respondents applying democratic parenting 76 people (79.2%), 13 authoritarian patterns (13.5%), and 7 premissive (7.2%). The emotional dynamics of people in positive categories were 89 people or (92.7%) and negative categories were 7 people (7.3%). The social interaction of mentally retarded children in the moderate category was 49 children (51.0%), the Good category was 33 children (34.4%), the Less category was 14 children (14.6%). The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant relationship between parenting styles with mentally retarded children who get a p-value of 0.001 <0.005 and there is a significant relationship between the emotional dynamics of parents and social interactions of mentally retarded children who get p-value 0.021 <0.005. Parents need to apply democratic parenting, be able to maintain emotions by generating positive emotional reactions so as to form good social interactions for mentally retarded children.   Keywords: parenting patterns, emotional dynamics and social interactions

This research discusses about parenting parents in developing social interactions of moderate mentally retarded children in SLB N 02 Padang, where there is a moderate mentally retarded child has a good social interactions ability. This research goals to describe the form of parenting parents that able to develop their children’s social interctions that has a level of intelligence below the average so that the child has difficulty in interacting socially towards the social environtment so that later it can be used as motivation to every parent in giving the righ form of parenting parent for their children this research using qualitative desciptive, the subjects of this research are parent of children, his brother, local society, and teacher. So that all data can be collected by researcher using observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of researchis the parent have authoritative parenting type, wherethe parents have openness and create a good communication to their child so that make the child’s interactions social become good and able to get along with teh environtment.

The importance of critical education for mentally retarded children in learning Balinese dance is related to learning, knowledge, and training for mentally retarded children. Critical education as an approach that can help marginalized mentally retarded children in obtaining dance learning to realize the social reality faced in education. Therefore,this article seeks to find out the relationship between critical education for mentally retarded children and the dance learning at the Denpasar Extraordinary Primary School of Kuncup Bunga. Critical education relations relate to the relationship of government stakeholders, teachers, communities, and parents of students who have power over mentally retarded children. The teacher considers mentally retarded children as weak children have unilaterally produced the most marginalized students in the Denpasar Kuncup Bunga Extraordinary Primary School.

Kemandirian bukanlah keterampilan yang muncul secara tiba-tiba tetapi perlu diajarkan dan dilatih pada anak agar tidak menghambat tugas- tugas perkembangan anak selanjutnya. Terutama pada anak yang mengalami retardasi mental akan sangat membutuhkan dukungan dari keluarga. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan  dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kemandirian anak retardasi mental di SLB Negeri Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh orang tua siswa kelas IV-VI di SLB Negeri Semarang yang berjumlah 64 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Dukungan keluarga pada anak retardasi mental sebagian besar adalah mendukung yaitu sebanyak 53,1%, kemandirian anak retardasi mental sebagian besar adalah kurang mandiri yaitu sebanyak 53,1%. Hasil uji statistik menemukan ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kemandirian anak retardasi mental di SLB Negeri Semarang, dengan p value sebesar 0,000.   Kata kunci : dukungan keluarga, kemandirian anak retardasi mental THE CORRELATION BETWEEN FAMILY SUPPORT AND THE LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE OF MENTALLY RETARDED CHILDREN   ABSTRACT Independence is not a skill that emerges suddenly but needs to be taught and trained in children so as not to inhibit the tasks of further child development. Especially for children who are mentally retarded, they will need support from the family. Research objectives to find out the correlation between family support and the level of independence of mentally retarded children in extraordinary school State of Semarang. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all parents of students in class IV-VI in Semarang State SLB, amounting to 64 students. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Family support for mentally retarded children was mostly supportive, as much as 53.1%, the independence of most mentally retarded children was less independent, which was as much as 53.1%. The results of statistical tests found that there was a correlation between family support and the independence of mentally retarded children in Semarang State SLB, with a p value of 0,000.   Keywords: family support, independence of mentally retarded children

The present study aimed at testing a model developed to uncover the relationships among social media addiction, cognitive absorption, and self-esteem. This studys’ sample consisted of 361 university students, 198 of whom were females, and 163 were males. Data were collected using the Social Media Addiction Scale (SMAS), the Cognitive Absorption Scale (CAS), and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to analyse the data. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between cognitive absorption and social media addiction; thus, cognitive absorption predicted social media addiction. A negative and significant relationship between self-esteem and social media addiction was also found; thus, self-esteem predicted social media addiction.

Asphyxia Neonatorum is a failure to start and continue breathing spontaneously and regularly when a new baby is born or some time after birth. Babies may be born in asphyxia or may be able to breathe but then experience asphyxia some time after birth. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parity and old parturition with the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum in the pre-Sumatran city general hospital in 2019. This study uses an Analytical Survey using a Cross Sectional approach. The population of this research is the babies born in the prehumulih city general hospital in 2019 amounted to 1763 people. The number of samples in this study were 326 respondents. In the univariate analysis it was found that from 326 respondents it was found that parity of high risk mothers was 168 respondents (51.5%) while parity of low risk mothers was 158 respondents (48.5%) and mothers who were diagnosed with prolonged labor were 149 respondents (45.7 %) while mothers who were not diagnosed with prolonged labor were 177 respondents (54.3%). Bivariate analysis shows parity has a significant relationship with the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum (p value 0,000) and old parturition has a significant relationship with the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum (p value 0,000). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between parity and old parturition with the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum.

The purpose of quantitative correlational study was to determine the relationship between demographic profile, the parenting styles, and classroom social interaction of the respondents. This study included 209 senior high school students of Quinapondan National High School. The respondents accomplished the questionnaire pertaining to assess parenting style and classroom social interaction of the respondents. Quantitative data analysis methods were used including mean, frequency count and percentage as well as correlational analysis. Age has no significant relationship with the parenting styles. It reflects an index of correlation at .137 and p-value .270. Sex also shows no correlation with the parenting styles. It has an index of correlation .068 and p-value .033. Grade level shows no significant relationship with the parenting styles.  There is an index of correlation of .027 and p-value of .694. Strand shows no significant relationship with the parenting style. There is an index of correlation of .137 and p-value of .141. Family income has a low correlation with the parenting style but has no significance with the index of correlation of .223 and p-value of .141. Lastly, educational attainment of parents has also a low correlation and has significance with the parenting styles in the index of correlation of .241 and p-value of .016.

One of negative behavior that is mostly done by adolescents is bullying, this behavior is prevalent in the school enviroment. Generally, the factor that influence bullying behavior are family factors, shool factor, peer factor. The focus was on the influence of parenting style because it has a correlation between parenting on an aggressive behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of parenting to bullying behavior in Bolangitan 1 N Senior High study approach. The total population was 48 respondents. The result of study by using the Chi Square statistical tes tah there is a significant relationship between parenting of bullying behavior in Bolangitan N 1 School with a value (p value: 0,000). It can concluded there is a significant relationship between parenting style towards bullying behavior in Bolangitan 1 Senior High School. It suggest that counseling can be held about bullying behavior and its response to adolescents.

Therapeutic communication is very important for the image of the nursing profession and the image of the hospital. Communication that occurs at the Tapen Puskesmas is still ineffective, so misunderstandings between nurses and patients often occur. The purpose of this research is to find out. The relationship between therapeutic communication with inpatient patient satisfaction at Tapen Health Center in Bondowoso Regency and to find out how big is the relationship between Therapeutic Communication and Patient Satisfaction in the Inpatient Room at Tapen Health Center in Bondowoso Regency. This research method is quantitative. This research was conducted in May 2019 with a sample of 30 inpatients. The sampling technique uses total sampling where the p-value has a significant relationship and Ha is received between therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between Therapeutic Communication Nurse with Inpatient Satisfaction in Tapen Health Center, Bondowoso Regency, a significant relationship between therapeutic communication with inpatient satisfaction. The level of therapeutic communication relationship with patient satisfaction.

Teachers begin to experience symptoms of fatigue due to heavy workload characterized by working ineffectively in the classroom so that the interest of the students declined. This study aims to test whether there is relationship between self-regulation and burnout in teachers. The population was junior high school’s teacher. This study use population research, where all the population used as a sample. Researchers use all certified teachers in the school, participants are 35 teachers. The approach used is quantitative method. Data collected using self-regulation and burnout scales, and analyzed using pearson product moment correlation test. The results obtained from this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between self-regulation with burnout in teachers. Significant relationships are seen from the p-value of 0.017 and r value of -0.401. The r value indicates that the relationship between the two variables have a negative direction, meaning that the higher of self-regulation, the lower of burnout. Individual’s good self-regulation be able to cope stress and emotions, because of burnout arising drag on stress experienced by the individual.Abstrak: Guru mulai mengalami gejala kelelahan akibat beban kerja yang berat yang ditandai dengan kurang bekerja efektif didalam kelas sehingga minat kepada peserta didik menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ada hubungan antara regulasi diri dengan burnout pada guru. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian populasi, dimana semua populasi digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Peneliti menggunakan semua guru yang sudah sertifikasi di sekolah tersebut yang berjumlah 35 orang guru. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala regulasi diri dan burnout, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasional pearson product moment. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara regulasi diri dengan burnout pada guru. Hubungan yang signifikan tersebut dilihat dari nilai p sebesar 0,017 dan nilai r sebesar -0,401. Nilai r tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hubungan kedua variabel memiliki arah negatif, artinya semakin tinggi regulasi diri maka semakin rendah burnout. Regulasi diri yang baik yang dimiliki individu akan mampu mengatasi stres dan emosi dalam dirinya, karena burnout timbul akibat stres yang berkepanjangan yang dialami individu.

Abstract: Humans need a certain amount of energy in order to support the growth and activity. Energy can arise due to combustion derived from carbohydrates, fats and proteins in foods consumed by the body, therefore to have enough energy one should consume enough and balanced food.Nutritional status is a state of the body that is the final result of a balance between the nutrients into the body and its utilization. Adolescence (10-19 years) is a period that is often prone to nutritional problems, because in this period there is less and over nutrient intake. This study aims to determine the relationship between energy intake and Student’s Nutrition Status of  Faculty of Medical Education, University of Sam Ratulangi Manado Year 2013. This study was an observational analytic using cross - sectional approach. Results of statistical analysis using the Spearman rank test shows that, the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of - 0.234 on IMT and 0.077 on WHR and p value of < α = 0.05 on IMT and 0.514 > α = 0.05 on WHR. From the results it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between energy intake with BMI, while the relationship between energy intake with WHR there is no significant relationship. Keywords : Energy Intake, Nutritional Status    Abstrak: Manusia membutuhkan energi dalam jumlah tertentu guna untuk menunjang proses pertumbuhan dan melakukan aktifitas. Energi dapat timbul karena adanya pembakaran yang diperoleh dari karbohidrat, lemak dan protein dalam makanan yang di konsumsi oleh tubuh, karena itu agar energi tercukupi perlu  mengkonsumsi makanan yang cukup dan seimbang. Status gizi adalah keadaan tubuh yang merupakan hasil akhir dari keseimbangan antara zat gizi yang masuk ke dalam tubuh dan utilisasinya.Masa remaja (10-19 tahun) merupakan masa yang sering rentan terhadap masalah gizi, dikarenakan pada masa ini terjadi asupan gizi kurang dan asupan gizi lebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan energi dengan status gizi pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Angkatan 2013 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado. Penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional (potong lintang). Kesimpulan: Hasil analisis statistik dengan menggunakan uji spearman rank menunjukkan bahwa, nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0,234 pada IMT dan 0,077 pada WHR serta nilai p sebesar < α = 0,05 pada IMT dan 0,514 > α = 0,05 pada WHR. Dari hasil tersbut disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan bermakna antara asupan energi dengan IMT sedangkan hubungan antara asupan energi dengan WHR tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna.
