Purpose: The article presents an analysis of the historical values and roles of the Kazan Virgin in the formation and development of the Russian state, the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of citizens and, above all, the younger generation of the country through the prism of the modern socio-cultural situation. Methodology: The study implemented the principle of consistency, the principle of objectivity, the principle of the subject-subject approach. Result: The Kazan Icon of Holy Virgin, the significance of which cannot be overestimated, is a very strong image that has protected the Russian land from foreign invaders from time immemorial. Not only ordinary people prayed to her, but also princes, kings. Particular emphasis is placed on the consideration of the educational component in the modern system of national education, the formation and development of appropriate values and orientations of students, systems of spiritual and moral values, civic identity, the place of spirituality and spiritual culture in the personality structure. The authors substantiate the importance of the image of the Kazan Virgin in solving the problem of spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the population. Applications: This research can be used for universities, teachers, and students. Novelty/Originality: In this research, the model of Historical Significance of the Image of the Kazan Virgin in the Education of Spirituality, Morality, and Patriotism is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.

AbstractThe paper presents the educational space of Polish homes and schools during the Partitions of Poland, with emphasis on its crucial role in the process of integration of the young generation, the birth of solidarity among them, and shaping their national and civic identity. Especially the Enlightenment ideas of the Commission of National Education (Komisja Edukacji Narodowej – KEN) that were to be found in the course books of the Wilno Educational District from 1803 to 1832 made it possible to perpetuate the model of patriotic education originated in family homes.

The article is aimed at researching, studying and substantiating the advantages and problems regarding the creativity of students in the process of obtaining professional education. In accordance with the aim of the research, the following tasks are set: to define the concept of «creativity», the prerequisites for the emergence of creative abilities; to characterize the conditions for stimulating the creative abilities of students; to identify obstacles and reasons for the lack of a creative component in the process of higher education; to build up an algorithm for the development of creative abilities in students; to outline the conditions for creating a favorable environment wherein the student’s creative inclinations will be manifested. The object of research is the processes of reforming higher education in the direction of compliance with modern European trends in education development; formation of an environment favorable for the development of creativity of student in the process of obtaining higher education through the algorithm of purposeful pedagogical activity. The subject of the study are theoretical and applied provisions on the formation of an environment favorable for the development of the student’s creativity in the process of obtaining higher education. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the formation of a single aggregate concept of creativity of students and in the formation of ways to overcome problems in the process of developing the creativity of students in obtaining professional education. The practical implementation of the research results will allow reforming higher education in the direction of forming a creatively active environment for teachers and students; will allow to bring the system of national education closer to the formation of such specialists in the labor market, which will be in high demand among domestic and foreign employers.

Based on analysis of the fundamental pedagogical, philological, philosophical, psychological works (L. Andreyko, Y. Baklazhenko, A. Kirsanova, O. Kovalenko, Yu. Lavrysh, O. Osova, S. Nikolaeva, Y. Passova, Y. Skarlupina, I. Unt, etc.) found that one of the strategic tasks of postgraduate training is the formation of skills of professionally oriented communication.Proved that the development of new communication tools and the organization of business on a technologicalbasis highlighted the need for direct and indirect foreign language communication of specialists of various professions on the basis of activating the cognitive processes of students. The study found that in the modern system of organizing foreign language teaching for graduate students, the emphasis shifts from learning to translate professionally oriented texts to learning a foreign language as a tool for professionally oriented communication. This is reflected in the content of educational and research programs, which defines communication as the target dominant.Investigation of the nature and specifics of preparation of graduate students for professionally oriented foreign language communication shows that the following ideas are especially valuable: to increase the motivation of students to learn foreign languages; to promote the study of foreign languages throughout life; to carry out correction of educational programs taking into account requirements of the modern labor market and tendencies of development of specialties; use foreign languages in teaching non-linguistic disciplines; to introduce technological innovations in the process of teaching foreign languages; to promote international academic mobility and closer cooperation between both teachers and students; to promote participation in the language development program for international communication in accordance with the specifics of the national education system, etc.

Today the issue of Patriotic education of citizens is very important. Part 2 of аrticle 13 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation prohibits to establish any state ideology. To solve this problem in this article, the author bases his conclusions on the theory of “constitutional patriotism” by Jurgen Habermas. The Constitution of the Russian Federation already contains Patriotic norms, fulfilling which a citizen can be called a real patriot. These are articles of the Constitution of the Russian Federation about State symbols of the Russian Federation (part1 of article 70), about the preservation of cultural heritage (part 1). 3 article 44), about the duty to protect theFatherland (part 1 article 59).In preparing this article, the author studied the legal framework of Patriotic education, legally enshrined in 47 laws of the subject of Russian Federation on Patriotic education, the legal framework of Patriotic education, proposed in the Concept of Patriotic education of citizens in the Russian Federation, as well as the legal framework of Patriotic education, set out in the analytical note of the Russian state military historical and cultural center of the Government of the Russian Federation (Rosvoentsentr). Further explored the legal framework of Patriotic education offered in researches of Karpov N. N., Lapteva L. E., Surguladze, V. Sh. and others researchers.On the basis of the obtained results, the legal basis of Patriotic education is proposed and systematized.As a tool of improving of the effectiveness of Patriotic education the author considers the Prosecutor’s supervision. The article proposes to allocate in a separate direction prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of laws on Patriotic education in connection with the national importance of this issue.To date there is no centralized system of Patriotic education in the country, no training of educators in this area has been organized. It requires a detailed analysis of the effectiveness of financial resources allocated to the organization of Patriotic education.Insufficient attention on the part of the subjects of Patriotic education is paid to the territories where there are relevant problems.The active work of prosecutors in this area will ensure an appropriate level of law in the field of Patriotic education.

“Russian Historiography” of N.L. Rubinstein is one of fundamental works on the history of Russian historical significance which importance for native history is great and diverse. The focus of the issue examination in this article is the absence in Rubinstein’s work of practically any materials on the history of the “Great Duchy of Lithuania”, “Lithuanian-Russian State”, “West Provinces”, etc. In this sense we come across a paradoxical situation when the fundamental research on the comprehension of Russian history development ignores and gives no explicit answer to the total number of above listed subjects, their interpretation and their place in various concepts of Russian history. The author of the article attempts to explain the situation relying on the general concept of Rubinstein’s “Russian Historiography” demonstrating the absence of problematization of Russian historical process subject and its limits, constraints and consequences of the “transparency” of the subject, in particular, the possibility of manifold functioning of the general scheme suggested by Rubinstein depending on the specific political context.

AbstractH.A.R. Tilaar emphasizes to the importance of education based on culture, because education is process of culture. Therefore, between the education and culture has been greatly relation, because the education is not able to be separated from culture that has reflected and grown up dynamically in Indonesian society.The purpose of this research is to determine how the education based on culture according to H.A.R. Tilaar’s perspective. The object of this research was H.A.R. Tilaar’s Perspective which concerns to the education based on culture.The approach of this research was literature review. The source of the data were a text book written by H.A.R. Tilaar and other literatures related to this research. The technique of analyzing data were the content analysis of the text book written by H.A.R. Tilaar and other literatures.The result of this research are : (a) H.A.R. Tilaar conceptualizes the education as an culturing processes; (b) the education process is an culturing process through the interactive process between teachers and students; (c) it is necessary to the Government of Indonesia to correct the National education concept by proposing several aspects such as ; (1) the basic value of education; (2) to notice the function of sociological education; (3) the relation between culture and education; (4) the education as The Agent ofChange, and (5) to get the equalization of education opportunity; and (d) to grow up the creative and adaptive thinking toward education phenomenawhich always move dynamically in the environment of the Indonesian community which has its complexity.Keyword: Education, Culture.

Writing, regarded as a thinking process enables language learners to explore and transform their ideas into words in accurate and appropriate ways. Although it has been taught from the Elementary school level up to the higher level of education, English teachers and students encounter various challenges. For students, they still get difficulties in writing a text even after being taught. For teachers, correcting students’ writing increases their workload. Therefore, how to reduce the load of teaching writing and to decrease students’ difficulties in writing have become important problem to solve. Through applying a technique in teaching writing, this research aimed to explore whether the application of peer review technique can improve students’ achievement in writing recount text. The method applied in this research was a classroom action research. The subject of the research was X-4 class SMA Negeri 21 Medan. The instruments of collecting the data were writing tasks as quantitative data while observation sheet, questionnaire sheet, diary notes and interview as qualitative data. The finding showed that Peer Review Technique gives contribution to improve students’ achievement in writing recount text. Keywords: Achievement, Writing, Recount Text, Peer Review Technique

This research developed Science, Environment, Technology, Society (SETS) e-module integrated with predict, observe, explain (POE) model on the subject matter of Earth Layer and Its Dynamics for grade VII students. This study aimed to reveal i) the feasibility of the developed e-module for grade VII students, and ii) the practicality of the developed e-module and its dynamics. This is a developmental research adopting the ADDIE model consisting of five stages, i.e.: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of the limited test consisted of 15 students of grade VIII.G of Public Junior High School 8 Yogyakarta. The data were collected using a product feasibility assessment sheet for material and media experts, a product practicality assessment sheet for teachers, and a product readability assessment sheet for students. The results show that the developed e-module was feasible to be used according to the material and media experts and the developed e-module is practical according to teachers and students.

AbstrakPola Strategi pengembangan Pondok Pesantren di Malangke, strategi pengembangan pesantren adalah cara atau srategi yang digunakan oleh wadah atau tempat guna proses suatu perubahan berencana yang memerlukan dukungan semua pihak, anatara lain Kepala, staff, guru, dan siswa dengan perubahan-perubahan itu diharapkan dapat mengembangkan dan meningkatkan lembaga pendidikan, yang memerlukan usaha jangka pendek, menengah, dan panjang guna menghadapi perubahan yang akan terjadi pada masa mendatang. Peluang dan tangan pengembangan Pesantren di Luwu Utara,  terdapat Undang-undang Nomor 20 tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, yang beberapa pasalnya menekankan penyelenggaraan pendidikan keagamaan, seperti, pasal 30 ayat (1) dan Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) Nomor 55 Tahun 2007 tentang Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Keagamaan pada pasal 1 ayat (2) tentang Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Keagamaan yang didalamnya secara tegas dikemukakan bahwa pondok pesantren menyelenggarakan pendidikan diniyah pada tingkat dasar dan menengah, tergolong dalam sub sistem pendidikan Nasional di Indonesia yang bertujuan untuk mencerdaskan bangsa, menjadikan manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri dan menajdi warga negara yang demokratis serta bertanggung jawab. Sedangkan tantangan ada beberapa hambatan 1)Sistem kurikulum yang lebih modern, sehingga pesantren ketinggalan jauh dari sekolah umum, 2) Kurangnya anggaran dan sumber pendanaan disebabkan oleh kurang siswa. 3) adanya sebagian orang tua tidak tertarik menyekolahkan anak di sekolah Pesantren.Kata kunci:      Pengembangan, Pondok Pesantren As’addiyah.  AbstractThe pattern of the development of Islamic boarding schools in Malangke, the strategy of developing pesantren is the method or strategy used by the place or place for the process of planning changes that require the support of all parties, among others, the Head, staff, teachers and students are expected to develop and improving educational institutions, which require short, medium and long-term efforts to deal with changes that will occur in the future. Opportunities and hands for the development of Islamic boarding schools in North Luwu, there is Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, some of which emphasize the implementation of religious education, such as article 30 paragraph (1) and Government Regulation (PP) Number 55 of 2007 concerning Education Religion and Religious Education in Article 1 paragraph (2) concerning Religious Education and Religious Education in which it is expressly stated that Islamic boarding schools conduct early childhood education at the elementary and secondary levels, belonging to the national education sub-system in Indonesia which aims to educate the nation, make humans who have faith and devotion to the Almighty God, are noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent and become a democratic and responsible citizen. While the challenges are several obstacles 1) A more modern curriculum system, so that pesantren lag far behind public schools, 2) The lack of budgets and funding sources is caused by lack of students. 3) there are some parents who are not interested in sending their children to school in Islamic boarding schools.Keywords:        Development, As'addiyah Islamic Boarding School.

Nowadays RF have a lot of obstacles. The intense process of globalization, the rapid development of information technology, development of a new instruments of geo-cultural and ideological influence not only lead to problems in the way of expansion of the Russian world, but also to the need to enhance the security of the current geo-cultural space of Russian Federation and design its system concept. The author notes that the new internal doctrine of RF is penetrated by a nostalgia for a powerful state status. Its main task is to strengthen the unity of society by strengthening civic identity. Therefore we do not underestimate the practical importance of theoretical developments in cultural, ideological and informational spheres. The ideology which promoted by Russian state media includes the concept of «russkiy mir» that actually justify claims to territories which are inhabited by ethnic Russians. This idea appeals to the Orthodox fundamentalism, as well as the Eurasian geopolitical and historical myths of permanent confrontation between Russia and the West. The main reason for the success of ideological propaganda – in a primitive but effective substitution of concepts. In conclusion the author stresses that the process of forming a single geo-cultural world of the Russian Federation does not impose functional and effective integration ideology and current Russian civilization and socio-cultural projects are not attractive and competitive position to societies and elites of neighbor states but can be used to consolidate the political situation inside Russia.
