Today stress has become a very important management issue in the industrial world. Nearly everyone experiences stress with respect to work. No matter how small the work stress that emerges must be addressed so as not to enlarge which ultimately can harm the organization and employees. One source of work stress is the noise that is not desired by the ear because it can be annoying and irritating. But the noise can be responded differently by each individual according to their adaptability. If the individual is less able to adapt to the noise then he will tend to experience stress.This study aims to determine the relationship between the ability to adapt to noise with employee work stress. This research was designed using a quantitative and correlational approach. Population of this research is employees of production of PT. Hendratna Plywood totaling 357 people. In sampling, the researcher used Random Sampling Technique by taking 60 employees. In this study the researchers used pure try out. The result of try out scale of ability of adaptation to noise obtained 23 valid items from 30 items presented. While on work stress scale obtained 55 valid items from 72 items.The results showed that 32 subjects (53.3%) experienced high work stress and 28 subjects (46.6%) experienced low work stress. It also found that 37 subjects (61.6%) had good adaptability to noise and 23 subjects (38.3%) had poor adaptability to noise. The result of data analysis is known that there is a significant negative relationship between the ability of adaptation to noise with employee work stress shown by correlation coefficient r = - 0,359 and p = 0,005. This means that if employees have good adaptability to noise then low job stress, otherwise if employees have poor adaptability to noise then high job stress. From this it can be seen that the ability of adaptation to noise gives effective contribution of 12,88% (r² = 0,1288) to work stress, while the rest 87,12% influenced by other factor.

Every human being will one day experience a tense period in the short term when facing known problems such as career pressures, family disputes or quarrels, material pressures, and personal despair, and we will think that this is depression, which is not is an important problem because it will resolve itself, but none of these fleeting conditions is depression. Good emotional intelligence can reduce aggression, especially in adolescents. Therefore, if emotions are managed successfully, the individual will be able to entertain themselves when overwritten by sadness, can release anxiety, moodiness or offense and rise quickly again from it all. This research is field research with a correlational approach, exploring the relationship between depression and emotional intelligence in married students. The results of the hypothesis test show that between emotional intelligence and depression in married students has a significant negative relationship (XY = -0.411; sig = 0.014 <0.05). This is in accordance with the data obtained from the SPSS 19 for Windows program, stating that r table 0.334 and r xy (r hit) -0.411, said to be significant if r xy = 0.411> r table = 0.334. In other words, the higher the emotional intelligence of students who are married, the lower the possibility of depression.

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy with anxiety facing matches in athletes at the Apac Inti soccer school. Anxiety will arise when faced with something new such as facing a match. Athletes who master physical, technical, and good tactics, but if an athlete's mind is disturbed by excessive negative things, it can interfere with concentration and not optimal in the competition, causing athletes to feel anxious. The population in this study were 40 male students of Apac Inti aged 15-18 years. This research uses a quantitative correlational method with saturated sampling technique. Based on the research results obtained correlation coefficient (r) = -0.547; p <0.05 and it can be concluded that there is a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy with anxiety facing the match in athletes at Apac Inti soccer school.

This Research aims to review the relationship between resiliensi and job stress on primary school teachers.This research using quantitative methods.Samples to this study were 100 (n = 100) using purposive sampling technique.The data using a questionnaire resilience quotient test and teacher stress inventory (TSI). The analysis used using spss 23.0 version. Based on the research, we got the result of notation statistics r = -0.41; p = 0.000 < 0.05 (significant). The result of this research indicated there are significant negative relationship between resiliensi themselves to stress work in primary school teachers. Much value p produced is -0.41 on significance 0.05 standard.

Abstract. This study aimed with determine the correlation between religiusity and self-control with juvenile tendencies. The subjects were 100 students both from SMA Negeri 1 Bancar and SMA Negeri 1 Jatirogo. Sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection instrument used in this study were juvenile delinquency scale , the scale of religiosity and self-control scale refers to the making according to a Likert scale. The results of data analysis using regression Anareg get the F = 17.954 with  p = 0.00 (p < 0.01). Religiusity and self-control variables simultaneously and significantly correlated with delinquency. Partially, it was found the value of t Regression between religiusity and juvenile delinquency  = -3.632, and r = -0.346 partial, with p = 0.000             (p <  0.01), this means that there is a significant negative relationship between religiusity and juvenile delinquency. Partial Test also find the value of t regression between the variables of self-control with juvenile delinquency = -2.737 and         r = -0.268  with a partial p = 0.007 (p < 0.01), this means that there is a significant negative relationship between self-control with juvenile delinquency. Effective contribution of religiusity and self-control variables was 27 % (R square = 0.270).Keywords: Religiusity, Self-Control, Juvenile Delinquency.

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between grit and parenting style of mother among Indian rural adolescents. Parental Authority Questionnaire [1] and Short Grit Scale [2] was used to meet objectives of the paper. A sample of 60 adolescents was chosen from private institution located at Bathinda (Punjab) by using convenience sampling technique. Results of correlation analysis revealed that significant (negative) relationship exists between mother&rsquo;s authoritarian parenting style (only) and grit. This is true for both genders and for adolescents who comes from joint families. Educational implication of the study signifies that the suitable informative and counseling sessions should be organised for the parents to make them conscious of the appropriate parenting style for the development of gritty adolescents.

ABSTRACTLecturers are the basic foundation for delivering knowledge and knowledge at the university level. Lecturers face various college tridharma tasks that have the potential to create work stress. This study analyzes the relationship between work stress and lecturer performance. It is important to understand and cultivate work stress because of its impact on mental as well as individual physical health. The subject of this research is 49 lecturers in 49 universities in the scope of Kopertis Region VII. Sampling technique using accidental sampling. Data analysis technique using Rank Spearman correlation test. This study was aims to determine the relationship of self concept and emotional intelliegence with work stress of reverence Gereja Batak Karo Protestan (GBKP) in Langkat area. The population of this study are reverences that serve the churches GBKP in Langkat area, consisting of : Klasis Binjai Langkat and Klasis Kuala Langkat as many as 42 people with total sampling tecnique. Data collected by questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using desciptive tecnique, nalaysis erquirements test, and hypothesis test. Based on the anaysis performed, the result obtained : 1) There is a significant negative relationship between self-concept with work stress, value R2 = 0,112 means self concept given 11,2 % contribution to explain work stress, this means the more negative self concept then the higher the work stress. 2) There is a significant negative relationship between the emotional intelliegence with work stress, R2= 0,278 means emotional intelliegence given 27,8 % contribution to explain work stress, this means lower the emotional intelliegence then the higher the work stress. 3) There is a significant negative relationship between the self concept and emotional intelliegence together with work stress, value R2 = 0,306 means self concept and emotional intelliegence given 30,6% contribution to explain work stress, this means negative self concept and lower the emotional intelliegence then the higher the work stress.

This study originated from the fact CHD be the cause of death in the world. CHD negatively impact the physical and psychological condition of patients, such as depression. One of the factors that affect the condition of depression is the ability to self-acceptance. Some research indicates that the ability of self-acceptance is good to help individuals avoided from depression. This makes researchers interested in examining it and see whether it is true there is a relationship self-acceptance and depression. The hypothesis of this research is to have a significant relationship between self-acceptance with the level of depression in patients with CHD. The purpose of this study was to describe self-acceptance, levels of depression, and relationships both in patients with CHD in the Heart Clinic Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. This research uses a correlation approach to the relationship self-acceptance and depression in patients with CHD. The population in this study all patients with CHD who had experienced a heart attack at the hospital, amounting to +345 persons. This study used convenience sampling technique or accidental sampling. The number of subjects of this study numbered 40 people. Methods of data collection using a scale of self-acceptance which is based on the theory of Sheerer and scale levels of depression have been prepared based on the theory of Beck. Analysis using the Pearson product moment correlation. Results of data analysis found that overall CHD patients in the Cardiac Clinic Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi have low levels of depression and self-acceptance scores were. Based on the correlation test results obtained correlation value (r) -.839, p =.000 (p &lt;.01) means there is a very significant negative relationship between self-acceptance with depression. This means that the higher the self acceptance of patients, the lower level of depression.

ABSTRACT   Instagram is the highest media social which accessed by teenagers in the development of information technology nowadays. The excessive use of Instagram creates the Fear of Missing Out phenomena which can reduce life satisfaction, bring up negative moods, create someone feels insufficient and compare themselves with others. Therefore, Fear of Missing Out affects the Subjective Well Being This study aims to find out the correlation between Fear of Missing Out and Subjective Well Being among teenagers Instagram’s users. The hypothesis proposed in this study is Fear of Missing out and Subjective Well Being among teenagers Instagram’s users. This study uses a quantitative method and proportionate stratified random sampling technique for getting the samples. The subjects in this study were 129 students of SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta which are Instagram’s users between 15-18 years old. The measuring instruments used in this study are the Fear of Missing Out scale and Subjective Well Being scale. The data analysis used is Karl Pearson’s Product Moment correlation in SPSS 21.0 for Windows release. The analysis showed a correlation coefficient rxy= -0,209 with P=0,019 (p<0.05). It proves there is a significant negative relationship between Fear of Missing Out and Subjective Well Being. Therefore, the hypothesis proposed in this research is accepted. Rsquare value of 0,044 means that Fear of Missing Out gives effective contribution of 4,4% to Subjective Well Being.   Keywords: Fear of Missing Out, Subjective Well Being, Teenager, Instagram.

Abstrak               Performa kerja anggota Kepolisian menentukan baik dan buruknya kualitas pelayanan terhadap masyarakat. Dalam menjalankan tugas, anggota kepolisian perlu mengelola stres kerja sehingga dapat mencapai performa kerja yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan stres kerja dengan performa kerja yang dimoderasi oleh motivasi berprestasi. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Penentuan subjek menggunakan accidental sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anggota Polres Blitar yang berjumlah 341 orang dengan sampel 150 orang. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur stres adalah New Job Stress Scale, skala untuk mengukur performa kerja Individual Work Performance Questionare, dan dalam mengukur motivasi berprestasi menggunakan Teori Mcclelland dengan skala motivasi berprestasi. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Hayes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara stres kerja dengan performa kerja. Dari hasil analisis pada ketiga variabel diambil keputusan β = 0.616 dengan p = 0.00, menunjukkan motivasi berprestasi memoderasi hubungan stres kerja  dengan performa kerja.   Kata kunci: stres kerja, performa kerja, motivasi berprestasi   Abstract   The work performance of members of the Police determines the good and bad quality of service to the community. In carrying out their duties, police officers need to manage work stress so that they can achieve the desired work performance. This study aims to analyze the relationship between work stress and work performance which is moderated by achievement motivation. The design of this research is correlational quantitative research. Determination of the subject using accidental sampling. The subjects of this study were 341 Blitar police officers with a sample of 150 people. The scale used to measure stress is the New Job Stress Scale, a scale to measure the work performance of the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire, and in measuring achievement motivation using the Mcclelland Theory with achievement motivation scale. Analysis of the data used in this study is Hayes analysis. Based on the results of the analysis showed a positive and significant relationship between work stress and work performance. From the results of the analysis of the three variables, the decision β = 0.616 with p = 0.00 was made, achievement motivation moderates the relationship between work stress and work performance.   Keywords: job stress, work performance, achievement motivation
