Pesquisa social de natureza avaliativa baseada em informações qualitativas e quantitativas. Estuda o Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica na Modalidade de Educação de Jovens e Adultos - Proeja, desenvolvido pelo Instituto Federal do Maranhão (Ifma/ Campus Maracanã), entre os anos 2015/2017, com o objetivo deavaliar as implicações do programa na vida dos egressos, focalizando a continuação dos seus estudos. Fundamenta-se à luz do pensamento de Minayo (1991), Sposito (2005) e Arendt (2009). Além disso, debruça-se sobre as orientações do documento que baliza o Proeja. Participaram da pesquisa 79 egressos e utilizaram-se, como instrumentais de pesquisa, aentrevista aberta e o questionário. Os resultados revelam que, a despeito das inúmeras variáveis contextuais, o Proeja contribuiu para o prosseguimento dos estudos dos egressos.Palavras-chave: Egressos do Proeja. RESUMOEste artigo aborda as legislações que asseguram o desenvolvimento de políticas educacionais para o funcionamento da EJA - Educação de Jovens e Adultos - no Brasil e contempla uma experiência em processo do PROEJA – Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica na Modalidade de Educação de Jovens e Adultos, no que se refere ao reconhecimento de saberes como prática promovedora do diálogo entre o saber apreendido por meio das vivências informais e o saber escolar. Neste sentido, o artigo orienta-se pela seguinte questão problematizadora: Os saberes dos estudantes, adquiridos por meio de vivências pessoais e profissionais, podem estar vinculados aos saberes adquiridos na escola? De que forma é possível reconhecê-los e vinculá-los às áreas de conhecimento apresentadas nas propostas curriculares de um curso? O presente estudo baseia-se na legislação da EJA no Brasil e o embasamento para análise e discussão das questões propostas se ancora nos argumentos teóricos de Gaudêncio Frigotto (2004, 2005 e 2008); Maria Ciavatta (2004 e 2005); Acácia Eneida Kuenzer (2008); Jane Paiva (2004); Inês Barbosa Oliveira (2007 e 2010); Paulo Freire (2005, 2007, 2009). Assim, este trabalho está organizado nas seguintes partes: 1. A legislação para a Educação de Jovens e Adultos no Brasil; 2. We will focus on recognition of knowledge as a strategy to promoting the dialogue between knowledge acquired through informal experiences and school knowledge. The paper is oriented by the following problem question: The knowledge students acquired through personal and professional experiences, can it be connected to the knowledge they acquired at school? How to recognize this previous knowledge and how to relate it to the areas of knowledge presented in the official curriculum of a course? This study is based on the law of EJA in Brazil and the foundation for analysis and discussion were built upon the arguments developed by  Gaudêncio Frigotto (2004, 2005 and 2008); Maria Ciavatta (2004 and 2005); Acacia Kuenzer Aeneid (2008); Paiva Jane (2004); Inês Oliveira Barbosa (2007 and 2010); Paulo Freire (2005, 2007, 2009). RESUMOO presente artigo objetiva analisar o cumprimento da proposta de Educação de Jovens e Adultos dentro do Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica, no Campus Pelotas do Instituto Federal sul-rio-grandense, bem como a avaliação das práticas, adotadas na instituição, durante a formação do estudante. A pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo exploratório, com nuances quantitativas, em relação à análise dos dados obtidos. Foram realizadas entrevistas com duas turmas de Proeja do curso técnico em Execução, Conservação e Restauro de Edificações, nas quais foram analisadas questões como o sentimento e a expectativa desses alunos em relação ao curso e ao ambiente escolar, e se essas expectativas foram atendidas ao longo do período.Palavras-chave: Proeja. O presente artigo objetiva refletir sobre as percepções dos jovens que cursam o ensino médio integrado ao ensino técnico no Instituto Federal do Ceará (IFCE) – Campus Fortaleza. Para tanto, busca-se realizar uma abordagem sobre a educação profissional brasileira, incluindo a análise dos Decretos nº 2.208/97 e nº 5.154/2004, na tentativa de compreender os impactos dessa modalidade de ensino na vida dos jovens entrevistados. Diante do exposto, tenciona-se contribuir para as reflexões acerca do crescimento dos Institutos Federais e da educação profissionalizante e o impacto desse crescimento na vida das juventudes cearenses. A metodologia utilizada para a realização da pesquisa no IFCE – Campus Fortaleza foi o estudo de caso, possuindo uma natureza qualitativa e quantitativa, e utilizou-se do questionário, que foi aplicado junto aos jovens do primeiro semestre do curso técnico de informática no ano de 2015. Desse modo, os métodos utilizados durante a pesquisa possibilitaram considerações acerca da temática “juventudes e educação profissional”, particularmente no que diz respeito ao ensino técnico integrado ao ensino médio. Palavras-chave: Juventudes. Therefore, we seek to carry out an approach to the Brazilian professional education, including analysis of Decrees 2.208/97 and 5.154/2004, in an attempt to understand the impacts of this type of education in the lives of young people interviewed. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, se pretende contribuir a las reflexiones sobre el crecimiento de los Institutos Federales y la formación profesional y el impacto de este crecimiento en la vida de los jóvenes de Ceará. La metodología utilizada para llevar a cabo la encuesta en IFCE – Campus Fortaleza fue el estudio de caso, que tiene un carácter cualitativo y cuantitativo, y se utilizó el cuestionario, que se aplicó a los jóvenes en la primera mitad del curso técnico de computadoras en el año 2015. School indiscipline sometimes finds a vast field through digital social networks. This way, this article presents part of the results of the research “The Relationship Between School Indiscipline and the Use of Social Networks in the perception of students of higher secondary technical-professional education courses of the Federal Institute of Paraíba - Campina Grande Campus, approved by the IFPB INTERCONECTA Program, which is an, exploratory, qualitative and quantitative cross - sectional study that aims to investigate students’ perceptions of the first and second years of the IFPB - Campina Grande Campus high school technical courses about what are the most used social networks by these participants and how they define appropriate and inappropriate behavior in these networks. The results showed that whatsapp, instagram and facebook are the social networks most used by the participants. They also showed that the ease of communication and interaction with other users as the main appropriate use and virtual crimes as the most cited inappropriate action in Social Networks. The results of this research suggest the possibility of preventive training for young people and their families about the use of social networks and their consequences.

Inorganic particulate material of diverse types is present in the ambient and occupational environment, and exposure to such materials is a well recognized cause of some lung disease. To investigate the interaction of inhaled inorganic particulates with the lung it is necessary to obtain quantitative information on the particulate burden of lung tissue in a wide variety of situations. The vast majority of diagnostic and experimental tissue samples (biopsies and autopsies) are fixed with formaldehyde solutions, dehydrated with organic solvents and embedded in paraffin wax. Over the past 16 years, I have attempted to obtain maximal analytical use of such tissue with minimal preparative steps. Unique diagnostic and research data result from both qualitative and quantitative analyses of sections. Most of the data has been related to inhaled inorganic particulates in lungs, but the basic methods are applicable to any tissues. The preparations are primarily designed for SEM use, but they are stable for storage and transport to other laboratories and several other instruments (e.g., for SIMS techniques).

The article explores the task of making higher education more profession-oriented. In this context, we consider the technology of structuring and matching professional activities and content of professional education curricula with the help of ontology. This technology employs intelligent analysis of labor market and educational content matching with the aim to organize educational programs and verify professional competences based on their ontological properties. The article also considers development of a professional training cognitive map that can help design the student’s personalized educational trajectory factoring in the given parameters.

The issues are considered related to providing mining enterprises with the engineering personnel capable of managing mining and blasting operations. At present, not all the mining enterprises have a full staff of specialists and managers who are legally entitled to manage mining and blasting operations. Some employees who previously had such a right, after changes in the legal framework, ceased to meet the new requirements. The analysis is presented concerning the competencies required to perform these production functions, as well as educational programs that allow acquiring these competencies. The importance of professional retraining programs for solving these problems and the imperfection of the modern regulatory framework, which practically excludes the possibility of obtaining the right to manage mining and blasting operations, even after professional retraining for persons with a higher technical education in a non-mining profile, are shown in the article. An integrated approach is proposed for resolving the issues of the admissibility of obtaining the right to manage mining and blasting operations by these persons considering a number of factors: basic education, work experience and positions held at a mining enterprise, completed training in programs of additional education and professional retraining. Such programs should be developed and implemented by the organizations with experience in training mining engineers and having a license from Rosobrnadzor for the right to implement programs not only for additional professional education, but also for higher professional mining education. The need is substantiated in developing professional standards for managers of mining and blasting operations at the enterprises for the extraction of solid minerals. Recommendations were developed for amending the federal rules and regulations in the field of industrial safety in order to ensure the possibility of using professional retraining programs for training and final certification of the managers of mining and blasting operations.

We investigate students’ misconceptions in electrostatics, direct current (DC) and magnetism which are important in electricity and magnetism. We developed and administered a multiple-choice questionnaire test to reveal students’ misconceptions related to charged bodies, lightning, electric fields, electric potential, forces, DC resistive electric circuits and magnets. This test aimed at obtaining quantitative information about misconceptions and was administered to 380 senior two students from Nine Year Basic Education (9YBE) Schools. The selected students have some experience with the new Rwandan secondary physics Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) that is currently under implementation. We find that senior two students have several common misconceptions related to these concepts. The data indicate that although students have some backgrounds on the subject matter, they still seem to believe that if the two charges are separated by a distance, a large-charged object exerts a greater force of attraction or repulsion on the small one. Considerable number of participated students held the misconception of considering current consumption in the resistor/bulb or the electrical devices in the circuits. They also believed that the battery was a continuous current source. The findings also revealed that students held a misconception that a bar magnet when broken into pieces, it is demagnetized. Moreover, a considerable number of participants hold the misconception that all metals are attracted by a magnet. Our study also revealed some of the statistically significant differences in terms of either gender or location of schools for some items.

Discussed is the problem of upbringing activities in the system of vocational education. In recent years this problem has not received much attention. To correct this situation, in July 2020 amendments were made to the law “On Education in the Russian Federation” about the problem of upbringing of students. Approved that it is necessary to include a working program of upbringing of students in educational programs. It is proposed that at the beginning the educational organization should develop a generalized program of upbringing of students and a calendar plan of upbringing activities. A variant of the program of upbringing of students at the university is given.
