This study aims to explore the performance of PT Petrokimia Gresik Coal Utility Unit employees who have recently emerged issues regarding employee performance that seem to have decreased so that testing is needed to prove whether the employee's performance has decreased. Exploration of employee performance is carried out using quantitative research methods, with the analysis technique using Path Analysis. By distributing several questionnaires to 40 employees who work in the Coal Utility Unit, to find out the results of the analysis required several tests such as the Validity Test which states valid, because the correlation value of each question item is greater than its critical value and for the Reliability Test it reaches Cronbach numbers. alpha 0.892 and above 0.60, it is declared reliable and trustworthy. With the results of the calculations that have been done, it can be seen that the contribution of the Reward System, Work Environment and Empowerment variables affects the Employee Engagement and Organizational Citizenship Behavior variables as a measuring factor for employee performance.

Kata kunci:”Komunikasi, Pola komunikasi, kinerja pegawai” ABSTRACT- The main purpose of studying communication is to develop and improve the ability to communicate with humans, so they can interact with each other more effectively in achieving goals, both individual goals, organizational goals and community goals. In the context of organizational communication,  an organizational culture sees communication relationships from the perpetrator's relationship line. The downward vertical relationship line, that is between superiors and subordinates, the horizontal relationship line is between one employee and another employee and last one is upward vertical relationship line, that is between the employee to the superior. Each of these lines of communication has its own pattern. If the communication pattern does not go according to the rules, then the implementation of communication will not work well. This will become one of the disturbances or obstacles in achieving company performance because the message is not conveyed correctly. Communication violations that occur are mostly caused by the perpetrators of the communication not knowing that they have violated the order lines. The purpose of this study is to obtain an in-depth picture and provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of organizational communication patterns on employee performance. The research used quantitative research methods or often referred to as traditional methods. The resulting data will be in the form of numbers and the analysis uses statistics. The results of regression testing show that the”variable organizational communication patterns affect the performance of employees at Pusat Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan (P4TK) Bisnis dan Pariwisata Jakarta.”  Keywords: Communication, communication patterns, employee performance

Learning media is a communication tool both print and audiovisual that is used to convey the material that will be delivered by educators to students in the learning process. The use of media as learning should receive special attention from educators in each learning process. If the media as a learning tool used is very interesting, it does not rule out the possibility that students will better understand the concepts that will be delivered in the learning process to the fullest. Media that can be used in learning physics one of which is Crocodile Physics. This research was conducted to determine the positive effect of using Crocodile Physics media in learning on understanding physics concepts. The study was conducted at Indraprasta PGRI University in 2018. The population is the first semester students of the 2018/2019 academic year. The researcher used quantitative research methods. The experimental design used is classical experimental design. The data analysis technique used is the Independent sample t-test using the SPSS 16 program. The research hypothesis to be tested is that there is a positive influence on the use of Crocodile Physics media in learning to understand physics concepts. The results of the calculation of the study have a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05 which states that there is a positive influence on the use of Crocodile Physics media in learning towards understanding physics concepts. Therefore the results of the study state that there is a positive influence on the use of Crocodile Physics media in learning towards understanding physics concepts.

This study intends to provide an overview of the consistency of research results with theoretical and empirical points of view, it is done because many research results are inconsistent with the theory. Quantitative research methods are used to make generalizations using a sample of 14 Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia with time series data collection techniques for 5 years. The data analysis technique used is multivariate analysis using the Warp PLS structural equation model. The results showed that the level of profitability of Islamic banks is always overshadowed by the occurrence of credit risk that causes non-performing financing from financing of the type of natural uncertainty contracts because it is type of financing is a financing that does not provide certainty of results. The results of this study are consistent with agency theory that explains the existence of information asymmetry, and consistent with the theory of mixing that by providing opportunities to manage business to business managers (mudharib/mustyarik) without interference from the owner of the fund (shaibul maal) can lead to the risk of default and thus affect the ability of Islamic banks to obtain profitability.
