Implementation of rice extension as an effort to support the Program Upaya Khusus Peningkatan Produksi  Padi, Jagung dan Kedelai (Upsus Pajale) in Central Java Province. The extension of Integrated Crop Management (IPM) of rice technology aims to encourage farmers to implement the technology. The selection of extension methods affects farmers' acceptance of the IPM of rice. This study aims to examine the methods and media of extension used to disseminate IPM of rice and how farmers respond to extension methods and extension media. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection using survey techniques from September 2018 to March 2019. Respondents from 153 farmers were in 6 districts / cities, Purbalingga Regency, Tegal Regency, Magelang Regency, Purworejo Regency, Magelang City and Semarang City. The results showed that during the program period, extension worker used a variety of extension methods. Based on the target number, the extension worker used two extension methods, namely the group approach and the individual approach. Based on the recipient's senses, the extension worker used methods that prioritize the sense of sight, sense of hearing and a combination of sense of acceptance. The type of communication used is direct and indirect communication using print media, electronic media, and sometimes social media. Farmers think the extension method, extension media and extension tools are good enough. The response of farmers who rate is good enough can be an indicator that the implementation of extension is going well enough. For the implementation of extension services in the future, it is recommended that extension agents choose extension methods that are more appropriate for farmers so that the extension goals are achieved optimally.

Perception is the result of the sensing process and the process of observing someone about something that will result in a behavioral response. Human behavior is a response to stimuli both from within and outside the individual. A healthy house is a house that meets the technical terms and conditions to protect the occupants of the house from various threats and health problems, so that an optimal health degree can be achieved. The percentage of healthy houses nationally is 61.81% and Central Java province has reached 70.40%, however, in Kebonan hamlet which is located in Central Java Province has a low percentage of healthy houses, only 9%. The research aim to describe the perception of the community about a healthy house and its relation to health behavior. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews and processed into verbatim then analyzed and the validity of the results tested by source triangulation. From the research results, it can be seen that the public's understanding of a healthy house in general is still limited, the public perception of the benefits of a healthy house and the disadvantages of a less healthy house is good enough, but the method of treating community waste is still not good. The efforts that can be made by the community to maintain a healthy house are still not maximal because of limited information. The low percentage of healthy houses in Kebonan hamlet is caused by poor behavior in managing houses and household waste. Limited information affects people's perceptions about a healthy home and results in not maximizing community behavior in running a healthy house. Perceptions of a healthy home and health behavior of some people in Kebonan hamlet are interrelated, so that to form good behavior knowledge needs to be increased in order to form a good perceptual understanding and positive behavior.

The agricultural sector plays an important role in economic growth in Indonesia. Central Java is one of the provinces contributing to the largest agricultural production in Indonesia. The role of the government in improving agricultural productivity in Indonesia is to provide facilities in the form of subsidized fertilizer to farmers by using an electronic card-based redemption innovation (Kartu Tani). Pati Regency in 2018 is one of the districts with the highest Kartu Tani users in Indonesia, although the target number of uses has not met expectations. This study aims to analyze the role of extension agents in promoting the innovation of Kartu Tani on the level of farmers' adoption of innovation in the Pati Regency. This research is quantitative research with explanatory type. The analysis technique used in this study is simple Linear Regression; The sample consists of 150 farmers who have a Kartu Tani. The results showed that the role of extension agents in promoting innovation did not significantly influence (P> 0.05) on the level of farmers' adoption of innovation in the Pati Regency. This shows that there is no influence on the role of extension agents in promoting innovation towards farmers in adopting the Kartu Tani innovation. Farmers get Kartu Tani information from fellow farmers because of the limited number and extension of instructors' time in providing information to farmers.

This study aims to describe a wealthy student’s habitus who does not get enough attention from parents but can make school achievements. Parents’ role is vital in children’s learning development process and becomes an encouragement to increase children’s enthusiasm for learning. In this case, wealthy students with achievements are often seen as something normal. However, upper-class students who do not get enough attention from their parents because of being busy at work but can make achievements are exciting things to study, especially to observe the habitus that shapes them. This study uses a qualitative method with a life history approach. This study’s single informant is Maulana, a high school student in Cilacap city, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Selection of informant using a purposive sampling technique. The study results indicate that a separate living house forms the habitus of Maulana as an independent student. Independent, in this case, means that he has the initiative to learn without coercion. The achievements he made were a form of strategy to attract the attention of his parents. The achievements that are always compared to his older siblings have boosted Maulana’s enthusiasm to improve his achievements. In this case, the study results stated that the habitus is formed from the capital (social, economic, cultural, and symbolic) of the individual. Parents’ busyness is not a problem in getting their performance at school.
