Character education is essential for the current millennial generation and must be applied in everyday life in the surrounding community. The character of the millennial generation is different from the previous generation, which requires us to pay more attention to character education which is starting to erode along with the times. The Millennial generation is a generation that in everyday life can never be separated from science and technology. In this digital era, the millennial generation has a social function of strength in technology. In this study, there are research questions that will be discussed in this article, namely the first regarding what problems occur in the millennial generation who occupy the digital era?. Second, what is the important role and influence of the digital era on character education for the millennial generation in Indonesia?. Writing this article uses a qualitative research method, namely a literature review study, where researchers use or look for references from journals or books. Samples of respondents were taken randomly from each region, and there were ten respondents. From this research, it is found that the millennial generation in the digital era chooses to use social media to access the latest news and information rather than reading print media that contains education. This article aims to find out the importance of character education for the millennial generation, which is starting to erode with the times in the digital era. Many people underestimate character education, especially for the current millennial generation. Therefore, we must implement educational programs at any level, especially in Indonesia, because the character shows the national identity. This article will discuss the vital role and influence of character education for millennials who live in the digital era to be aware of the importance of character education in citizenship.

Millennial generations are often referred to as agents of change. currently facing challenges from social change brought about by industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 has a negative impact, namely characters that are no longer in accordance with values ​​and norms. The industrial era 4.0 has eroded the values ​​of human life, including the millennial generation. Technology develops independently and is increasingly separate, and leaves religion and social values ​​far behind. Ibn Khaldun's idea of ​​Islamic education can shape humans to have character, so that the millennial generation is able to become humans who have quality, to be able to maintain the life and existence of a highly cultured society in accordance with the flow of the times. The idea of ​​Islamic education that is able to shape the character of the millennial generation are cognitive intelligence. (fikriyyah ma'rifiyyah), affective intelligence (khuluqiyah), psychomotor intelligence (jihadiyah), spiritual intelligence (ruuhaniyah) and social intelligence (ijtima'iyah). Background: Currently, Indonesia is entering an era that is all digital and uses technology in all fields of activity. The internet has a lot to do with their behavior or character. Millennials are the nation's next generation. The emergence of the digital era caused by globalization has made the millennial generation less appreciative and practicing the values ​​of Pancasila. In this case, character education is something that must be applied to the millennial generation. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the millennial generation, the role of character education in realizing the values ​​of Pancasila in the daily life of the millennial generation, how to cultivate an attitude of patriotism and nationalism towards the nation by practicing Pancasila, and provide motivation for the millennial generation to realize these values. Pancasila values. Methods: This study uses a literature review method. The search for journals was carried out using the google scholar database with the keywords “Character Education”, “millenial generation”, and “Pancasila”. The journals selected are journals from 2019 to 2020. Results: By applying character education to the millennial generation, it will make it easier for them to practice the values ​​of Pancasila. Pancasila should be the way of life of the millennial generation. Recommendation and limitation: As millennials, we must protect the country from values ​​that are contrary to Pancasila. Character education must be applied following the nature of the millennial generation itself. Of course, the applied character education must prioritize and be based on the values ​​of Pancasila as well.

<p><em>There is character degradation caused by rapid global progress and development and indirectly demands that humans be able to adapt to existing needs, while the purpose of writing this scientific paper is how the Indonesian people are more aware of and appreciate the importance of living up to existing values. the values contained in Pancasila. In writing this scientific paper the writer uses historical research methods. In this historical research method, the researcher uses several reference sources in the form of relevant journals and books that support this writing. The result is that there are several obstacles that often occur on the surface of everyday life, namely: first, a lack of mutual respect among others; second, the things of the World take top priority in terms of living together (the attitude of Individualism); third, decreased practice of the values that exist in Pancasila. An attitude of mutual respect and prioritizing togetherness is very important to be instilled back in the community so that these values are still upheld because they are part of the values of Pancasila and the NKRI slogan, namely Bhineka Tunggal Ika.<strong></strong></em></p>

Indonesian is the identity of all Indonesian citizens. Language itself is very important for human life. With language, we can communicate with one another, considering that humans are social creatures who cannot live without each other's help. However, the use of language should not be underestimated. The use and pronunciation must be properly understood so that there are no misunderstandings or other unwanted things. The development of the times and globalization have affected the existence of languages that are currently starting to lose their authenticity. One example is the use of slang as a daily word until the authenticity (original word) is slowly forgotten. As well as the use of foreign languages that are more attractive to the millennial generation. The lack of interest of the younger generation in learning linguistic rules is also one of the factors in changing the existence of Indonesian. The background of the research is about the existence of language, especially Indonesian to the changing era. The purpose of writing this paper is to show the public, especially the millennial generation the importance of maintaining the existence of linguistic rules. Because as good citizens we must maintain and preserve our national identity.

Responding to the moral decline in the millennial generation as a result of advances in communication, information, and technology is a big challenge that must be faced together so that the formation of children's character needs to be instilled. The purpose of this research is to shape the character of the millennial generation through the living values ​​education program in the school environment. The research method used is library research with secondary data sources, namely research documents and supporting books. Data analysis in this study is content analysis. The results of the study indicate that the strength of character education and the participation of school educational institutions are the main foundations in providing motivation in the life of diversity. Character education becomes very important when the collapse of ethical values, morality, as a result of the progress of the times, especially in the millennial generation. By building character through the values ​​contained in the living values ​​education program, the millennial generation can have good character in accordance with the noble values ​​of the Indonesian nation.

Character education associated with learning fable story texts is very influential on the development of the character of students who are known to be very bad and deviant. Obviously, only for students of State of junior high school One, Tinggi Raja, there are still many students who are not disciplined in terms of attendance, are less responsible for completing homework assignments, and are also often dishonest to teachers or parents. This aims of research is to improve the ability to think and understand by linking messages to fable stories with self-character so that students are expected to be able to master some character education that must be fulfilled to be subsequently applied in everyday life. This research is a type of research and development. This research method is used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products.

This study aims to describe the implementation of the character education of students' courtesy through beautiful media at SD Negeri 11 Mataram. This research method using descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study using observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used thematic analysis. The results of this study indicate that the use of beautiful media in improving the character of courtesy of students at SD Negeri 11 Mataram shows the results and can provide concrete experiences for students in being polite in everyday life, especially at school.

In the era of digital learning, educational institutions must innovate to meet the changing needs of the times. The efforts of educational institutions to make their creations and inno- vations a challenge. The innovation carried out by educational institutions aim to equip student competencies according to their time. The purpose of this study is to analyze the innovation of digital-based learning media in the development of character education in MAN I Lamongan. This research method uses case studies with an interview, obser- vation, and documentation data collection techniques. While the data analysis uses the theory of Miles and Huberman, which begins with reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results indicated that 1) MAN 1 Lamongan encourage the inoo- vation through implementation Vision-mission; 2) learning process using positive internet using varied learning media in the form of slides , dynamic visuals that are projected, printed, games, and reality media, and 3) programs of activities including Adiwiyata school programs, ISO programs, D1 equivalent production programs in collaboration with ITS, and Ma'had for sons and daughters. All services connected with Information Technology.

Character education is an effort in dealing with the various challenges that the shifts from character are facing today. The digital era faced today is not easy, both for parents as well as for children of the digital generation. This sophisticated and very fast advancement of technology and information requires a change in the perspective of parents in carrying out their parenting duties and vocation so that they can remain adaptive in undergoing the changes that exist in this digital era while still being able to adhere to the principles of Christian education. The research method used is the library research method by analyzing textbooks and previous research journals, so that the formulation of parenting roles in the perspective of Christian education in the digital era is generated. The results of this study are: The role of successful parents in this digital era is at least two important things that must be highlighted and become the mainstay of parents in carrying out their parenting roles based on the perspective of Christian education, namely: becoming a model model that reflects the principles of life based on the Bible and those who second is to build good and strong relationships with children. Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi yang canggih dan sangat cepat ini memerlukan perubahan perspektif dari para orangtua dalam menjalankan tugas dan panggilan parentingnya agar tetap dapat adaptif dalam menjalani perubahan yang ada di era digital ini namun tetap dapat berpegang teguh pada prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Kristen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan cara melakukan analisis buku teks dan jurnal penelitian sebelumnya, sehingga dihasilkan rumusan bagaimana peran parenting orangtua dalam perspektif pendidikan Kristen di era digital. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: Peran orangtua yang berhasil di era digital ini paling tidak dua hal penting yang harus ditonjolkan dan menjadi andalan orangtua dalam menjalankan peran parentingnya berdasarkan perspektif pendidikan Kristen, yaitu: menjadi model teladan yang mencerminkan prinsip-prinsip kehidupan berdasarkan Alkitab dan yang kedua adalah membangun hubungan relasi yang baik dan kuat dengan anak-anak. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman yang terus berubah dengan sangat cepat, maka sebagai orang tua juga harus makin keras, makin cerdas, makin mawas, dan makin tuntas menghadapi persoalan tantangan era digital yang memengaruhi anak-anak yang ada dalam era digital ini dengan memperhatikan beberapa hal praktis yang disarankan oleh para ahli teknologi dan informasi.
