Responding to the moral decline in the millennial generation as a result of advances in communication, information, and technology is a big challenge that must be faced together so that the formation of children's character needs to be instilled. The purpose of this research is to shape the character of the millennial generation through the living values ​​education program in the school environment. The research method used is library research with secondary data sources, namely research documents and supporting books. Data analysis in this study is content analysis. The results of the study indicate that the strength of character education and the participation of school educational institutions are the main foundations in providing motivation in the life of diversity. Character education becomes very important when the collapse of ethical values, morality, as a result of the progress of the times, especially in the millennial generation. By building character through the values ​​contained in the living values ​​education program, the millennial generation can have good character in accordance with the noble values ​​of the Indonesian nation.

This study aims to determine the potential of the flipped classroom model based on living values education program to strengthen the character education of elementary school students. This research is a literature study using a qualitative descriptive approach by examining journals related to flipped classrooms and journals related to the living values education program. The results of these literature reviews will be used to identify the potential of a flipped classroom model based on a living values education program as a strengthening of character education for elementary school students. Sources of research data are secondary data sources. Data analysis in this literature review is content analysis. The results of this study indicate the potential for a flipped classroom model based on living values education program to strengthen the character education of elementary school students.

The purpose of this study is to identify the values ​​of character education contained in the Al-Quran surah Al-Mu'minun verses 1-9, by examining the Al-Azhar interpretation. This research is qualitative, while the method used is library research, with primary data sources from Al-Azhar interpretation, and secondary data sources for books that discuss the subject matter indirectly. Data collection techniques, validity and data analysis were used, namely documentation, theory triangulation and content analysis. The results of the author's analysis of Q.S. Al-Mu'minun verses 1-9, by examining Al-Azhar's Tafsir, that Allah SWT has determined a very large fortune for believers who have 7 (seven) good qualities, namely: being faithful, devoted to praying , turning away from things that are not useful, cleaning oneself by paying zakat, maintaining genitals, maintaining mandates and promises, and maintaining prayer. The results of the study can be concluded that there are 7 (seven) values ​​of character education that need to be taught to students from an early age, namely (1) having faith, containing honest characters found in verse 1; (2) khusyu 'in praying, contains a character of confidence, found in verse 2; (3) turning away from things that are useless, containing the character of being critical can be found in verse 3; (4) clean oneself by paying zakat, containing the caring character found in verse 4; (5) taking care of the genitals, containing the strict character found in verses 5-7; (6) maintaining the mandate and promises, containing the character of being responsible in verse 8; (7) maintaining prayer, containing the character of discipline found in verse 9.

The difficulty of providing an understanding of the values of religion to students in schools is feared to be one of the causes of the emergence of acts of violence in educational institutions. So the purpose of this article is to analyze the understanding of religious values as one way to prevent violence in educational institutions. This research method is qualitative with descriptive analytic approach, and the type of research belongs to category of library research. Primary data sources are 10 books, while secondary data sources are from relevant journals. The conclusion of this article is that violence occurs in educational institutions must be the government's concern. The number of cases of students persecuting their teachers even some has died is an indicator that religious education obtained is only memorized. Students do not understand the purpose and objectives of learning religious education, and this is also because teachers are unable to provide an understanding of the essence of religious education.

Pesantren, Islamic boarding school, as Islamic educational institutions by setting the main objectives of Islamic education is simply to generate the Santri (students) to explore religious knowledge (tafaqquh fid-din). However, since the 1970s Pesantren began to open up indicating that Islamic boarding schools with their dynamics required recognition by the community about their existence. Kiai Sahal Mahfudh, a Pesantren intellectual figure with a traditional background helped encourage the Pesantren to be able to respond to modernization and the demands of society in the right way. Kiai Sahal Mahfudh presents himself as a figure with transformative, innovative and visionary vision in transforming Pesantren education. He argued that Pesantren education cannot be separated from its two potentials: religiosity and social potential. This study aimed to determine the perspective of Pesantren education based on the perspective of Kiai Sahal Mahfudh and its relevance to the development of contemporary Pesantren. This study is a library research using the primary data in the form of Nuansa Fiqh Sosial, papers, or any works of Kiai Sahal Mahfudh. Meanwhile, the secondary data were in the form of books related to the Pesantren or AZJAF Vol.1 No. 2 (Special Issue 2021) Page 24 the thoughts of Kiai Sahal Mahfudh. The analysis technique used content analysis in which the phases of analysis started by determining the problems, formulating the frame of thoughts and preparing the methodology devices, data analysis and data interpretation.The results of this research showed that the teaching of the kitab kuning needs the abilty to understand contextually for solving contemporary social problems. The formulation of the objectives of pesantren education in preparing righteous and akram people in line with the functions of humans personally as khalifah of Allah who also carry out social functions to prosper and manage the earth.The da’wah islamiyyah or propagative potential in pesantren is not only articulated in word but also in deeds or da’wah bil hal. For kiai Sahal Mahfudh, da’wah can also in the form of community empowerment. Both have the same end goals. These are relevant and in accordance with the direction of development of contemporary pesantren which wants pesantren to no longer only carry out their traditional functions as religious educational institutions, but also as social community institutions.

The discussion in this research is terrorism from the perspective of Islamic criminal law (fiqih jinayah). The problem that becomes the focus of research is how terrorism is in the review of Islamic criminal law or jinnayah fiqh. Qualitative research, the source of which is library research, is the method used in research. There are two kinds of data sources in this research, namely primary and secondary data sources, while the data collection and analysis uses literature review research. The data were analyzed using the Islamic criminal law theory approach. So as a result of this research that acts of terrorism are not justified in Islamic teachings. The birth of this action is because the perpetrators have shallow thoughts or have very minimal thoughts and have political goals to harm themselves and others. They even consider this act as Jihad, even though in fact it is not a jihad but an act that brings fear to potential victims.

The ideas of al-Qabisi on the physical punishment method for the students now tend to be poorly comprehended, acknowledged, and implemented by educators in the educational institution system. It is almost certain that the study of the physical punishment method is still limited to theory and knowledge without giving application in the reality of life. This research aimed to analyze the principle of physical punishment for the students, illustrate the terms, as well as the objectives of the punishment, and the impact on the psychological and physical of students. Based on library research and descriptive, deductive, and content analysis of primary and secondary data sources, the result of the research showed that according to al-Qabisi, there are six principles of physical punishment, four conditions that must be considered in the provision of physical punishment, five purposes of giving physical punishment for them, and imposition of physical punishment for them according to al-Qabisi harms the physical and psychological of students.

Therefore, the overall data focuses on books or papers relating to discussion of "rightmost character Education". Quant à la méthode d’analyse de données technique utilisée est descriptive analyse qualitative méthodes, car les données sont traitées sous la forme d’un écrit de données telles que : livres, revues, articles de journaux, caractère education curriculum directives structures formelles en 2013 en ligne En ligne) et comprend le produit brut standard sous forme de législation relative à la formation du caractère. From the results of the discussion and anlisa above, concrete conclusions can be taken, that the person in charge character education namely Educational Institutions not the independence of each other, but rather inherently. Summary this rests on a concrete analysis of the various figures such as: Thomas Lickona, Jun Sung Hong and James Garbarino, David w. Johnson, and Roger t. Johnson, even from muslim figures like Abdul Majid, Jamal ‘Abdur Rahman, Moh. Solikodin Djaelani, Muchlas Samani dan Abdullah Nashih ‘Ulwan, first product reinforced by legislation which clearly explains the RI character education is the shared responsibility of educational institutions.

Lampung indigenous people have valuable local wisdom that has the values of character education. The purpose of this research is to form a form of support to the government that continues to campaign for character education as an effort to restore the original character of the moral Indonesian nation and this study also aims to discover how the values of character education in the local wisdom of Lampung indigenous people namely Nengah Nyappur. This research uses descriptive-qualitative method to explore various data with library research. Nengah Nyappur as one of the elements of the philosophy of life of the people of Lampung has a character value in the form of tolerance, courtesy, and cooperation. These three character values are rooted in the daily lives of the indigenous people of Lampung. Referring to the presidential regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 87 of 2017 concerning Strengthening Character Education, Education Units and School/Madrasah Committees consider the adequacy of educators and education personnel, availability of facilities and infrastructure, local wisdom and opinions of community leaders and or religious leaders outside the School/Madrasah Committee. The third point about local wisdom feels the need for writers to review as one of the bases of character education, the writer offers local wisdom of Lampung. The findings of this study are that the values contained in Nengah Nyappur are still very relevant until now and can be applied in the family environment, community environment, and school environment.

Millennial generations are often referred to as agents of change. currently facing challenges from social change brought about by industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 has a negative impact, namely characters that are no longer in accordance with values ​​and norms. The industrial era 4.0 has eroded the values ​​of human life, including the millennial generation. Technology develops independently and is increasingly separate, and leaves religion and social values ​​far behind. Ibn Khaldun's idea of ​​Islamic education can shape humans to have character, so that the millennial generation is able to become humans who have quality, to be able to maintain the life and existence of a highly cultured society in accordance with the flow of the times. The idea of ​​Islamic education that is able to shape the character of the millennial generation are cognitive intelligence. Indonesia is a plurality country which is indicated by the diversity of ethnicities, races, customs, languages, and religions. Plurality, including religion, can have implications for cooperation but also conflict. The facts show that the plurality of religions in Indonesia is in trouble. But inherently, all religions, including Hinduism, also have values that can overcome the problem of plurality, which is hidden in its theological concepts. This study aims to explore the Brahman and Ātman in the Īṣāvasya Upaniṣad ontologically and its relevance to the plurality of religions in Indonesia. This research is library research using a qualitative approach. The material objects of the research are Brahman and Ātman in the Īśāvasya Upaniṣad. Data collection in this study was carried out through document studies on primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis in this study used methodical steps of descriptive, interpretative, and holistic analysis. The results showed that the study of Brahman and Atman was ontologically described in several categories, including substance, quantity, quality, place, time, position, ownership, and action. In addition, this study contains value concepts relevant to religious plurality, including kinship, tolerance, harmony, divinity, holiness, nobility, brotherhood, empathy, love, and mutual respect.
