Millennial generations are often referred to as agents of change. currently facing challenges from social change brought about by industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 has a negative impact, namely characters that are no longer in accordance with values ​​and norms. The industrial era 4.0 has eroded the values ​​of human life, including the millennial generation. Technology develops independently and is increasingly separate, and leaves religion and social values ​​far behind. Ibn Khaldun's idea of ​​Islamic education can shape humans to have character, so that the millennial generation is able to become humans who have quality, to be able to maintain the life and existence of a highly cultured society in accordance with the flow of the times. The idea of ​​Islamic education that is able to shape the character of the millennial generation are cognitive intelligence. (fikriyyah ma'rifiyyah), affective intelligence (khuluqiyah), psychomotor intelligence (jihadiyah), spiritual intelligence (ruuhaniyah) and social intelligence (ijtima'iyah). This paper discusses the concept of management of character education in MTs Raudhatul Islamiyah Kemiri, the concept in question is the pattern of character growth of students with various supporting elements such as madrasa activities, rules or regulations, and content of Islamic education lessons that are applied in MTs Raudhatul Islamiyah Kemiri. In addition to these supporting elements, in order to grow the character of morality also has several strategies in supporting the achievement of character education management concepts such as: exemplary, learning, empowerment and acculturation, retention, and assessment. At this time Character becomes important for human life, especially for the next generation of nation. Therefore character education becomes important in school. However, the achievement of character values must be applied with good management. Character education management is a planned effort to make learners recognize, care and internalize the values so that learners are able to grow its character that consists of the process of planning, organizing, implementation and supervision.

ABSTRACT The concept of humanistic education is education that has principles to humanize humans such as education that explores, respects, serves, and helps students develop their potential with the aim of making students a generation that is intelligent, religious and has good character. Education has many obstacles and very complex problems. Various factors including the development of science and technology have led to changes in the behavior of adolescents, especially high school students, who commit crimes such as immoral crimes and so on. This moral degradation causes PAI teachers to try to educate students not to be carried away by the current of modernization which has a negative impact by instilling religious values. However, in reality, many people think that PAI is not important. A different phenomenon occurs in one high school in Lumajang City, namely SMAN 1 Lumajang. Where students really like PAI lessons because learning PAI at school is carried out with a humanistic approach. This journal discusses the implementation of the humanistic approach in Islamic Education lessons and also the constraints and reasons for using humanistic theory in Islamic Education learning. The research method used is qualitative research methods. Keywords: Approach, Humanistic, Pendidikan Agama Islam ABSTRAK Konsep pendidikan humanistik adalah pendidikan yang memiliki prinsip untuk memanusiakan manusia seperti pendidikan yang menggali, menghargai, melayani, dan membantu siswa mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki dengan tujuan agar siswa menjadi generasi yang cerdas, religius dan berakhlakul karimah. Pendidikan banyak mengalami kendala dan permasalahan yang amat komplek. Berbagai faktor termasuk perkembangan IPTEK menyebabkan perubahan tingkah laku remaja khususnya siswa/siswi SMA banyak melakukan tindak kriminalitas seperti kejahatan asusila dan sebagainya. Degradasi moral inilah yang menyebabkan guru PAI berusaha untuk mendidik murid agar tidak terbawa dengan arus modernisasi yang membawa dampak negatif dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Namun pada kenyataannya banyak yang menganggap pelajaran PAI itu tidak penting. Fenomena berbeda terjadi pada salah satu SMA di Lumajang yaitu SMA Negeri 1 Lumajang. Dimana para siswa sangat menyukai pelajaran PAI karena pembelajaran PAI disekolah tersebut dilakukan dengan pendekatan humanistik. Jurnal ini membahas mengenai implementasi pendekatan humanistik pada pelajaran PAI dan juga kendala serta alasan menggunakan teori humanistik dalam pembelajaran PAI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Kata Kunci : Pendekatan, Humanistik, Pendidikan Agama Islam

Islamic Education as a basic capital in order to achieve happiness in human life in the world and the hereafter. Thus given the importance of Islamic Education, human beings need to get the need for this very important science as a basic provision to meet the level of happiness attainment away. Islamic Education is sourced from the Shari'a namely the Qur'an and Hadith. Because the Qur'an and the Hadith as the source of all knowledge that becomes the shari'a (rules) of Allah SWT, we are obliged to believe from the sources of shari'a that will be able and guarantee safety with human happiness. The system built by the Qur'an and the Hadith is the foundation of Islamic Education as a guarantee of Allah SWT in accordance with His pleasure. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research literature. The conclusion of this research is Islamic Education as the basis of human life, by consideration this has become a basic human need to achieve happiness both in the world and the hereafter. Islamic Education is sourced from the Shari'a namely the Qur'an and the Hadith that develops in the dynamics of human life in accordance with the atmosphere and development of the times that encourage the safety and happiness of humans for those who can support the application with the guidance of Islamic Education in accordance with sharia'.

<p><em>The millennial generation is a generation born between 1980-2000 when there was rapid technological progress and continues to grow. They are called the millennial generation because they are the generation that lives at the turn of the millennium. Simultaneously in today's digital technology began to penetrate into human life rapidly. When viewed from the age, this millennial generation is between 21-41 years old. In this paper, data were obtained from articles and journals, books, and news sources in the mass media. This study uses descriptive analysis method to analyze the data. A leader is someone who is able to move others by commanding, directing, and guiding others, in order to take action in order to achieve an expected goal according to the agreement. With the development of the times, many leaders emerged because of the demands and environmental conditions at this time. Then in the growing era of the millennial generation, the government should have prepared what the millennial generation needs so that they will become ideal leaders for the Indonesian people. In order to be realized, the millennial generation as the regeneration of the nation's leaders must be prepared from an early age by providing nationalism, religion, character and moral education.</em></p>

Indonesian is the identity of all Indonesian citizens. Language itself is very important for human life. With language, we can communicate with one another, considering that humans are social creatures who cannot live without each other's help. However, the use of language should not be underestimated. The use and pronunciation must be properly understood so that there are no misunderstandings or other unwanted things. The development of the times and globalization have affected the existence of languages that are currently starting to lose their authenticity. One example is the use of slang as a daily word until the authenticity (original word) is slowly forgotten. As well as the use of foreign languages that are more attractive to the millennial generation. The lack of interest of the younger generation in learning linguistic rules is also one of the factors in changing the existence of Indonesian. The background of the research is about the existence of language, especially Indonesian to the changing era. The purpose of writing this paper is to show the public, especially the millennial generation the importance of maintaining the existence of linguistic rules. Because as good citizens we must maintain and preserve our national identity.

The position of morals is very important in human life, so Allah sent the Prophet Muhammad SAW. to the face of this earth is to improve human morals. Morals are the characteristics of a person or determinants of whether that person is good or bad, so that with this, morals are always used as the foremost determinant in every problem, including in building the Indonesian nation. Character education is essential for the current millennial generation and must be applied in everyday life in the surrounding community. The character of the millennial generation is different from the previous generation, which requires us to pay more attention to character education which is starting to erode along with the times. The Millennial generation is a generation that in everyday life can never be separated from science and technology. In this digital era, the millennial generation has a social function of strength in technology. In this study, there are research questions that will be discussed in this article, namely the first regarding what problems occur in the millennial generation who occupy the digital era?. Second, what is the important role and influence of the digital era on character education for the millennial generation in Indonesia?. Writing this article uses a qualitative research method, namely a literature review study, where researchers use or look for references from journals or books. Samples of respondents were taken randomly from each region, and there were ten respondents. From this research, it is found that the millennial generation in the digital era chooses to use social media to access the latest news and information rather than reading print media that contains education. This article aims to find out the importance of character education for the millennial generation, which is starting to erode with the times in the digital era. Many people underestimate character education, especially for the current millennial generation. Therefore, we must implement educational programs at any level, especially in Indonesia, because the character shows the national identity. This article will discuss the vital role and influence of character education for millennials who live in the digital era to be aware of the importance of character education in citizenship.

The aim of this study is describing history and development Islamic boarding schools, madrasa and integrated Islamic school. This research is descriptive-analytic literature research. Research concludes that Islam can be developing and be accepted by Indonesian society through existence an institution that pioneered by the scholars and character education that has spirit religion, development institution education experience install it recede in his journey. Proven by existence effort positive for developing institution Islamic education and shade Ministry of Education and Culture. Since the madrasa was developed together with the emergence of the Islamic reform movement in Indonesia, the madrasa curriculum has always been done the renovation. Initially, the madrasa curriculum only consisted of religious knowledge than experience innovation corresponding with demands the times. Effort massive do by the Ministry of Religion in developing Islamic education institutions. so as Ministry Education and Culture give away opportunity for Integrated Islamic School for designing curriculum education for meet National Education Standards.

Family is the first and foremost educational institution in human life. Both parents acted as teachers and children as students. In this case, parents, besides being obliged to raise their children physically, are also obliged to mature them psychologically and spiritually. But in reality, the existence of children is often overlooked, even worse, children are often become victims of adult violence and abuse.In fact, violence against children does not only have a negative impact on child development, but also a violation of human rights against children, which includes the right to live, the rights to protection, and the right to education. These rights are those which are the basic rights possessed by every human being as a gift from God which has been carried from the early life.For this reason, efforts to prevent violence against children in the family is necessary, one of which, is to instill mystical values to children as early as possible. Efforts to improve the noble character for children can be adopted from the Quranic teachings and some mystical attitudes and behaviors that aim to instill spiritual values. Every child's mistakes are always controlled by actions and punishments that can remind him of God. Mystical character education is a mystical solution that will play a major role in realizing a moral revolution and spiritual character in society.

Responding to the moral decline in the millennial generation as a result of advances in communication, information, and technology is a big challenge that must be faced together so that the formation of children's character needs to be instilled. The purpose of this research is to shape the character of the millennial generation through the living values ​​education program in the school environment. The research method used is library research with secondary data sources, namely research documents and supporting books. Data analysis in this study is content analysis. The results of the study indicate that the strength of character education and the participation of school educational institutions are the main foundations in providing motivation in the life of diversity. Character education becomes very important when the collapse of ethical values, morality, as a result of the progress of the times, especially in the millennial generation. By building character through the values ​​contained in the living values ​​education program, the millennial generation can have good character in accordance with the noble values ​​of the Indonesian nation.
