The article considers the main approaches to the problem of stress resistance of students in higher education institutions of Ukraine. It is determined that a number of scientists consider stress resistance as a property of the individual that determines its effective activity, and others as cognitively conditioned mechanisms for overcoming stress. It is noted that in psychological science there are other views on the stress resistance of the individual, but when studying the stress resistance of students in the educational process of higher education, it is advisable to use the above approaches. Studies suggest that most students have low levels of psychological stress, mental stress and medium, high levels of resilience. The main coping strategies of students’ behavior in stressful situations are “confrontational coping”, “avoidance”, “self-control” and “problem solving planning”.

There has been carried out the study of approaches to the interpretation of the term “self-study process” in the contemporary scientific thought abroad. There have been specified the productive ideas of foreign experience which are to be understood and implemented into practice of domestic higher education institutions in terms of professional training of future specialists in the field of social and behavioural sciences majoring in Economics, including the following: 1) student self-study is supposed to be a mandatory part of the educational process, with the amount of time dedicated to being less than 65 percent. Cultural competence is an integral quality of personality, which is manifested in the general ability and willingness of man to various creative activities, socially orients higher education to independent and successful life. The aim of the article is to analyze the formation of cultural competence of higher education seekers as a dynamic process of change of the person himself, his formation as a cultural personality. Research methods applied: system-chronological, culturological, axiological, comparative, retrospective, didactic. The approaches are based on a set of methodological principles, including: dialectical, systematic, historicism, chronological, personalized. The article reveals the problem that until recently the pedagogical research did not define the exact parameters, indicators and criteria according to which it would be possible to accurately and unambiguously assess the cultural competence of applicants. This is partly due to the fact that the key competencies that characterize the cultural competence of applicants are not a separate part of the curriculum, they are integrated into its content. The difficulty of such a definition is also due to the value nature of culture and the process of its assignment by the individual. The translation of culture into the language of competencies in the educational process does not eliminate this problem. In contrast to structured subject learning, the cultural development of the individual is supra-subject in nature and is associated with the definition of values and personal positions of applicants. It is concluded that in pedagogical science there is a theoretical basis that allows meaningful and organizational development of the assessment of the process of cultural development of higher education institutions. The study proves that in the practice of higher education it is not yet possible to avoid one-sidedness and limitations in the assessment of cultural competence; certain difficulties arise in the question of its holistic representation as a result of quality education. The problem of assessing cultural competence requires a purposeful study, taking into account the specifics of the educational process of higher education institutions of different profiles, the individual characteristics of the assignment of culture to applicants and their mastery of key competencies.

The author reveals the necessity of introducing into the educational and professional programs of preparation of masters of non-pedagogical specialties of the discipline "Didactics of higher education". Formation of pedagogical competences of the teacher of the higher school will allow the future specialists professional activity in the institutions of higher education. The article reveals the essence of didactic competence and peculiarities of its formation in higher education students in the current conditions of organizing the initial process. The competency approach should permeate all aspects of student training. Therefore, a special (didactic) competence should be included in the list of the graduates' learning outcomes. The didactic competence is the ability to apply knowledge of psychology and pedagogy (didactics) in the educational process of higher education institutions. In the orientation of the educational and professional program of the master of non-pedagogical specialties it is necessary to enter competencies that allow him to engage in teaching activities. General competences add to the ability to carry out pedagogical activities using innovative educational technologies, and special competences add to the ability to organize the educational process and carry out scientific research in order to solve topical problems of the theory, methodology, organization and practice of higher education students. One of the most important compulsory (normative) disciplines that enable the future specialist to teach special and professional disciplines in higher education institutions should be "Didactic of Higher Education". This is the main feature of forming didactic competence in higher education institutions. But the competent approach in higher education does not come down to a separate discipline, but because the phenomenon of integral and dynamic develops in the process of formal, non-formal and informal education and is in constant development and self-development. All stages of preparation of the master of non-pedagogical specialties for teaching activity should be directed on achievement of the main purpose of the educational process — formation of pedagogical competences of applicants of higher education.

One of the main tasks in organizing the educational process in higher education is the drawing up of a schedule of classes. It reflects the weekly student and faculty load. At the same time, when compiling, there are a number of necessary conditions and a number of desirable. The paper considers seven required and four desirable conditions. In this paper, one of the well-known approaches that can be used in drawing up a curriculum is consid-ered. The proposed scheme of the genetic algorithm, the result of which is to obtain an approximate solution to the problem of scheduling with the need to further improve it by other heuristic methods. To solve the problem, an island model of the genetic algorithm was selected and its advantages were considered. In the paper, the author's own structure of the individual, which includes chromosomes in the form of educational groups and genes as a lesson at a certain time, is presented and justified. The author presents his own implementations of the genetic algorithms. During the work, many variants of operators were tested, but they were rejected due to their inefficiency. The biggest problem was to maintain the consistency of information encoded in chromosomes. Also, two post-steps were added: to try to reduce the number of teacher conflict conflicts and to normalize the schedule - to remove windows from the schedule. The fitness function is calculated according to the following principles: if some desired or desired property is present in the individual, then a certain number is deducted from the individual's assessment, if there is a negative property, then a certain number is added to the assessment. Each criterion has its weight, so the size of the fine or rewards may be different. In this work, fines were charged for non-fulfillment of mandatory conditions, and rewards for fulfilling the desired
