The objective of this study was to find out the influence of transformational leadership and work culture on lecturer’s performance of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. This study used quantitative approach, survey method and path analysis. The data was taken from 204 lecturers and 29 heads of study program became the sample in this study. The result of the study found that (1) transformational leadership gave direct positive influence on the performance; (2) work culture gave direct positive influnce on lecturer’s performance; and (3) transformational leadership gave direct positive influnce on work culture. Form the research has been conducted, it could be concluded there must be the improvement of transformational leadership and work culture to improve the lecturer’s performance of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. This study aims to determine the influence of employee promotions, upward downward communication, and work environment on employee job satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach using a survey method (questionnaire).Path analysis is used to analyse the data collected. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Holcim Indonesia, Tbk, who have a working period of 10 years and over, totalling 510 people spread across all plants in Indonesia. The number of samples taken in this study were 225 people who were randomly selected.The results showed that job satisfaction was directly influenced by employee promotions, upward downward communication, and work environment. The study also found that the work environment was influenced by employee promotion and upward downward communication. This study also found that job satisfaction is indirectly influenced by the promotion and upward downward communication through the work environment. Based on these findings it can be concluded that any changes that occur in employee job satisfaction are influenced by employee promotion, upward downward communication, and work environment. Therefore employee job satisfaction, employee promotions, upward downward communication, and work environment can be taken into consideration in making strategic planning for human resource development.

This study aims to analyze the effect of promotion and service quality on the trust and loyalty of donors to perform Zakat, Infaq, and Alms in Dompet Dhuafa Riau. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 312 donors of Dompet Dhuafa Riau. The variable measurement uses a Likert scale with weights from 1 to 5. To analyze the effect of variables X1, X2 on Z through Y using statistical techniques path analysis. To test the level of significance using the t-test. This study found promotion had a positive and significant effect on loyalty, service quality had a positive and significant effect on loyalty, the trust had a positive and significant effect on loyalty, the promotion had an effect on loyalty through trust, and service quality had an effect on loyalty through trust.

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style and training on motivation and its implications on the performance of both partially and simultaneously. Data collected through survey method and instrument questioner analysis to be distributed to the units of Mercu Buana University academic staff of 126 educators. Research analysis method is descriptive method and quantitative verification tool path analysis (path analysis) was then forwarded to the analysis of determination (R2), partial hypothesis test (t test) and test hypotheses simultaneously (F test). Prior to the analysis process has been tested intrument with validity and reliability. Results of this study were: 1) the transformational leadership style has no effect on work motivation of educators in Mercu Buana University; 2) Training effect on work motivation of educators in Mercu Buana University; 3) transformational leadership style and training of education personnel motivation to work directly and indirectly in Mercu Buana University; 4) transformational leadership style of the performance of educators at Mercu Buana University; 5) Training of educational personnel in the performance of Mercu Buana University; 6) transformational leadership style and training of education personnel performance both directly and indirectly in Mercu Buana University; 7) To analyze the effect of motivation on the performance of work at the University of Mercu Buana.

<p>Keterkaitan antara karakter vegetatif, komponen buah, komponen biji, dan hasil biji beras pada tanaman kopi merupakan hal penting dalam program pemuliaan dan seleksi. Model saling keterkaitan antar karakter tersebut adalah model sebab-akibat dan dapat dianalisis melalui analisis lintasan bertahap (ALB). Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi karakter-karakter yang berpengaruh terhadap hasil biji beras kopi Arabika di daerah Garut, Jawa Barat melalui penggunaan analisis lintasan bertahap (ALB) dan model persamaan struktural (MPS). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Marga Mulya, Kecamatan Cikajang, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat, bulan Januari sampai Desember 2013 pada ketinggian tempat 1.300 m di atas permukaan laut dengan jenis tanah Andosol. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan pengambilan contoh secara acak terhadap lima genotipe kopi Arabika, yaitu ABP-1, ABP-2, ABP-3, AGK-1, dan S 795. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat tiga karakter yang berpengaruh positif secara langsung, yaitu jumlah ruas pada batang, tebal buah, dan bobot 100 biji gabah. Karakter panjang cabang primer berpengaruh positif secara tidak langsung, sedangkan karakter jumlah cabang sekunder dan jumlah ruas cabang primer berpengaruh negatif secara tidak langsung. Karakter-karakter tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai kriteria seleksi pada populasi kopi Arabika di daerah Garut, Jawa Barat.</p><p>Kata kunci: Kopi Arabika, seleksi karakter, analisis lintasan bertahap, model persamaan struktural</p><p>The linkage between the vegetative characters, fruit components, production seeds component and rice seeds of the coffee plant is important in breeding and selection programs. Models of interrelations between these characters are causal models and can be analyzed through sequential path analysis (SPA). The objective of this study was to identify of several characters affecting on green bean yield of Arabica coffee in Garut, West Java by using sequential path analysis (SPA) and structural equation modeling (SEM). This research was conducted in the Marga Mulya Village, Cikajang District, Garut Regency, West Java, with altitude about 1300 m above sea level and Andosol type of soil, starting from January to December 2013. The research was conducted in survey method with random sampling method on the Arabica coffee genotypes such as ABP-1, ABP-2, ABP-3, AGK-1, and S795. The results showed that there are three characters having directly positive effect on green bean yield: number of internodes on stem, fruits thickness, and weight of 100 beans. On the other hand, length of primary branches has indirectly positive influence, while number of secondary branches and number of internodes on primary branches has indirectly negative influence. These characters can be used as selection criteria on the population of Arabica coffee in Garut, West Java.</p><p> </p>

The purpose of this study is to study the influence of leadership, self-efficacy, and work engagement on high school teachers’ professional commitment at Siak Regency of Riau Province. This research uses the quantitative approach with the survey method. The population in this study were 96 high school teachers in Siak Regency of Riau Province. The results of this study indicate that; (1) There is a direct positive influence of leadership on high school teachers’ professional commitment. (2) There is a direct positive influence of self-efficacy on high school teachers’ professional commitment. (3) There is a direct positive influence of work engagement on high school teachers’ professional commitment. (4) There is a direct positive influence of leadership on self-efficacy. 5) There is a  direct positive influence of leadership on work engagement. (6) There is a direct positive influence of self-efficacy on work engagement.  Thus, the improvement of high school teachers’ professional commitment can be achieved well if there is strong influence from leadership, self-efficacy, and work engagemen which are well built. The research objective is to understand comprehensively the effect of power and decision making on teacher’s organizational commitment in BPK PENABUR Primary School in Jakarta. The research methodology is a survey method to form the causal path analysis. Research based on BPK PENABUR’s primary school teacher with total sample 178 teachers. The research on the analysis conclude that (1) power has positive influence on organizational commitment, (2) decision making has positive influence on organizational commitment, and (3) power has positive influence on decision making.

AbstrakSejak diberlakukannya lelang elektronik, persaingan bisnis jasa konstruksi sangat tinggi.Hal ini berdampak  pada berkurangnya paket pekerjaan dan penurunan jumlah pelanggan,sehingga mengurangi pendapatan dan laba perusahaan. Tujuan dari studi ini adalahmenganalisis pengaruh promosi, citra perusahaan, pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggandalam meningkatkan pembelian ulang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatifeksplanatori dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian adalah sebanyak 53 user CV. SelaksaPrada, diambil dengan menggunakan metode sensus. Teknik analisis data digunakan analisisjalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif promosi, citra perusahaan,pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Hasil selanjutnya menjelaskan terdapat pengaruhpositif promosi, citra perusahaan, pelayanan dan kepuasan pelanggan terhadap pembelianulang.Kata kunci: promosi, citra perusahaan, pelayanan, kepuasan pelanggan, pembelian ulang.AbstractSince the introduction of electronic auctions, the competition of construction services businessis very high. These results in reduced work packages and decreases in subscriber numbers,thereby reducing earnings and profits. The purposes of this study are to analyze the influenceof promotion, corporate image, and service to customer satisfaction, toward increase repeatpurchase. This study used explanatory quantitative approach with survey method. The samplesof research are 53 users CV. Selaksa Prada, taken using the census method. Data analysistechniques path analysis. The results showed there are positive influences of promotion,corporate image, and service to customer satisfaction. This research is focused on the factors that influence the implementation of knowledge management at Learning Center Group PT Bank Mandiri (Persero)which are transformational leadership and organizational culture. This research uses the explanatory survey method, collecting data with questionnaire from the 54 officers as population at Learning Center Group PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. The data analysis used is Path Analysis Model to identify the effect of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. The t-test and F-test are used as statistical test. The findings indicate that the simultaneously effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture is 0,5604 (56,04%). Based on path analysis, coefficient of X1to Y and X2 to Y both are positive, which mean that statistically transformational leadership and organizational culture have effect to knowledge management implementation, however transformational leadership is less significant. Partially, transformational leadership has 1,6% effect and organizational culture has 51,2% effect to knowledge management.

Success or failure of a company is determined by the leader. Good leadership in an organiza­tion is, supposed to be, also supported by the work culture of the employees in that company. The stronger the leadership style applied and supported by the implementation of good work culture, can improve the performance of employees, and ultimately the achievement of the com­pany. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of leadership style and work culture on employee performance in the field of nursing at Hermina Hospital members. The variable in this research is transformational leadership style (X1) and work culture (X2), as well as em­ployee performance (Y). Samples used as many as 173 respondents from 21 Hermina Hospital members with census techniques. Data is collected using questionnaires, then analyzed by us­ing multiple linear regression statistical methods. The Results showed there were a positive influence of leadership style on employee performance and positive influence of work culture on employee performance. However, compared to the amount of work culture, the style of leader­ship has a greater influence on performance, with the influence score of 30.6 %.

The research objective is to study the effect of the effect of work climate, job satisfaction and job dicipline toward teacher performance at Public Senior High School in Bekasi District. This research used quantitative approach. The sample of this research were 175 teachers selected randomly. The method used is survey method with path analysis. The research on the analysis it is conclude that: (1) work climate has direct effect on performance, (2) job satisfaction has direct effect on performance, (3) Job dicipline has direct effect on performance, (4) work climate has direct effect on job dicipline, (5) job satisfaction has direct effect on job dicipline, (6) work climate has direct effect on job satisfaction.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari pengaruh iklim kerja, kepuasan kerja, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri se-Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 175 guru yang diambil secara acak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan analisis jalur (path analysis). Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) iklim kerja berpengaruh langsung positif pada kinerja, (2) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh langsung positif pada kinerja, (3) disiplin kerja berpengaruh langsung positif pada kinerja, (4) iklim kerja berpengaruh langsung positif pada disiplin kerja, (5) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh langsung positif pada disiplin kerja, (6) iklim kerja berpengaruh langsung positif pada kepuasan kerja.
