The aims of this research are to analyze the charakteristic of honey pineapple consumers and to analyze the preferences of honey pineapple consumers in Belik Sub-district. The research was conducted in Belik Sub-district on March-June 2020. The research location was determined by purposive method. The research was used a survey method with 100 respondents as the sample who were selected using accidental sampling. Descriptive analysis and conjoint analysis were used in this research. The result of the research showed that consumers prefers honey pineapple which has >Rp3.500-Rp4.500 of price, yellow skin color, sweet taste and fruit-shaped cut. The most important attribute in honey pineapple for consumers was the taste.

Customers’ needs and wants with regard to dairy products are increasingly diverse, and companies must be able to produce a variety of products. This study aimed to obtain alternative product configurations in accordance with customer requirements and to determine the types of modules required to realize the product by synergizing conjoint analysis and the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method. The product configuration was based on pleasurable design consisting of three aspects, namely functionality, usability, and pleasure. Pleasurable design was chosen because it involves the human in the product design as a product user so that the product design is in accordance with customer expectations. The research used the survey method with consumers of ice cream. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the product attributes desired by consumers. Orthogonal design was used to construct alternative product configurations, while the product configuration rank was determined using conjoint analysis. Based on the results of the research, the selected attributes for the functionality aspects were taste and texture, the selected attributes for the usability aspects were shape and packaging materials, and the selected attributes for the pleasure aspects were health benefits and appearance. The orthogonal design results led to 25 alternative product configurations, followed by determination of the ranking of alternative product configurations. Then the DEMATEL method was applied to analyse the relationship between the product configuration attributes to determine the types of modules that must be provided.

<em>Increased consumption of fruit requires consumers to understand how to choose good and ripe fruit. The level of fruit maturity can be known based on physical characteristics, including the parameters of size, weight, skin color, fragrance of the fruit, and the level of hardness of the fruit flesh. Determining the level of fruit maturity based on physical characteristics has a weakness that is subjective and inconsistent. Making indicators based on natural dyes, namely anthocyanins, to determine the level of sweetness of the fruit. The purpose of this research is to use anthocyanin pigments as an indicator of fruit sweetness level to determine fruit maturity. This research is an experimental laboratory and qualitative descriptive analysis with stages; Sample Extraction, Indicator Making, Indicator Application, Fruit Acidity Testing, Data Analysis. Based on the results of the study, there were quite visible color differences on toothpicks after being inserted into the fruit samples with a sweet taste and the fruit samples with a sour taste. The indicator shows that fruit with a sour taste (pH &lt; 3) changes color from blue to reddish purple. If the taste is not too sour (pH 5), it does not experience a significant color change. In conclusion, the anthocyanins in telang flower can be used as an indicator solution because they have a blue color at neutral pH, a reddish color at pH = 2, the red color fades at pH = 3 and 4, and there is no color change at pH 5.</em>

<p>ABSTRAK. Pemahaman tentang preferensi konsumen sangat penting dalam proses pengambilan keputusan pemangku kepentingan utama, termasuk bagi produsen/petani serta berbagai pihak terkait yang beroperasi di dalam subsektor sayuran. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk menghimpun informasi menyangkut preferensi konsumen atau optimalisasi utilitas atribut produk untuk komoditas prioritas/unggulan sayuran (kentang, bawang merah, dan cabai merah). Kegiatan penelitian dilaksanakan pada Bulan Juni sampai dengan September 2008 di tiga kota besar konsumen sayuran, yaitu Jakarta (DKI Jaya), Bandung (Jawa Barat), dan Padang (Sumatera Barat). Penelitian survai menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dilaksanakan untuk mewawancarai 335 responden yang dipilih secara acak di ketiga kota tersebut. Atribut produk yang diamati mencakup atribut eksternal, internal, dan organoleptik. Preferensi konsumen diidentifikasi menggunakan analisis konjoin yaitu salah satu modul dalam program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsumen mengekspresikan preferensinya terhadap kentang yang berukuran 6­–8 butir/kg, berkulit mulus, dan memiliki jumlah mata sedikit (&lt;10). Konsumen menganggap ukuran umbi kentang merupakan faktor terpenting dalam menilai atau membeli kentang, dan secara berturut-turut diikuti oleh faktor permukaan kulit serta jumlah mata. Sementara itu, bawang merah yang paling disukai konsumen ialah bawang merah dengan diameter umbi 2,5 cm, berwarna kulit merah-ungu tua, dan beraroma tidak menyengat. Urutan kepentingan atribut bawang merah menurut persepsi konsumen secara berturut-turut yaitu warna kulit, ukuran umbi, serta aroma. Sementara itu, konsumen lebih menyukai cabai merah yang besar, kulit berwarna merah terang, dan memiliki kepedasan agak pedas. Dalam konteks atribut produk cabai merah yang digunakan untuk mengukur preferensi, faktor terpenting yang berpengaruh dalam proses pengambilan keputusan yaitu warna kulit, dan secara berturut-turut diikuti oleh faktor jenis cabai serta tingkat kepedasan.</p><p>ABSTRACT. Understanding consumer preferences is important in the context of decision-making of key stakeholders, including producers themselves, as well as development agencies that operate in the vegetable subsector. This study was aimed at collecting information on consumer preference or optimizing the utility of product attributes of vegetable priority crops (potato, shallots, and hot peppers). It was carried out in June-September 2008 in three big vegetable consuming cities, Jakarta (Capital Special-Region of Jakarta), Bandung (West Java), and Padang (West Sumatera). Survey method by using a structured questionnaire was implemented to interview 335 respondents randomly selected in the three cities. Parameters observed were external, internal, and organoleptic attributes. Consumer preferences were identified by using conjoint analysis – a module in Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS). The results showed that consumers express their preference to potato that has some characteristics, such as medium size of tuber (6-8 tubers/kg), smooth-flawless skin, and few numbers of eyes (&lt;10). Tuber size were perceived as the most important factor affecting purchasing decision, and followed by skin and number of eyes. The most preferred shallots was the one that has a diameter of 2.5 cm in size, dark-violet red skin color, and least strong aroma. The rank of shallot’s attributes importance as perceived by consumers were skin color, tuber size, and aroma, consecutively. Meanwhile, consumers prefer hot peppers that has the characteristics of bright-red skin color, big-hot peppers type, and slightly hot. Within the context of measuring preference, the most important hot peppers attribute that influences consumer decision making were skin color, and then followed by hot peppers type, and hotness.<br /><br /></p>

Hybrid breeding of watermelon has led to the formation of high-yielding varieties. The objectives of the research were to determine the performance of hybrid watermelon of the Indonesian Tropical Fruit Research Institute (ITFRI) collection and to evaluate the superiority of each hybrid. The research has been conducted at Sumani Experimental Garden, ITFRI, Solok, West Sumatera, from April to July 2016. The material used consisted of 19 cross combinations. The data from this descriptive study were presented in the form of averages and pictures. The results showed that the hybrids that were tested showed diversity in size, fruit skin color, flesh color, skin thickness and fruit sweetness. Hybrids with three excellent characters, i.e. medium fruit weight, high total soluble solids (TSS) value, and moderate rind thickness, were not yet obtained. Hybrids that had the superiority in term of sweet taste and shelf life were BT1 × SGP, BT4 × BT4P, BT5 × BT4, BT6 × SGP and SGP × BT6. Keywords: hybrid, performance, total soluble solids, watermelon   ABSTRAK Pemuliaan hibrida pada semangka mengarah kepada pembentukan varietas berdaya hasil tinggi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaan hibrida semangka koleksi Balitbu Tropika dan untuk mengevaluasi keunggulan masing-masing hibrida Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Sumani, Balitbu Tropika, Solok, Sumatera Barat, dari bulan April sampai dengan Juli 2016. Materi yang digunakan terdiri dari 19 kombinasi persilangan. Data hasil penelitian deskriptif ini ditampilkan dalam bentuk rataan dan gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hibrida yang diuji memiliki keragaman dalam ukuran, warna kulit buah, warna daging buah, ketebalan kulit buah dan kemanisan. Belum ditemukan hibrida yang memiliki tiga karakter unggul, yang terdiri dari bobot buah sedang, total padatan terlarut (total soluble solid) tinggi, dan kulit buah agak tebal. Hibrida yang memiliki keunggulan berupa rasa manis dan tahan simpan adalah BT1 × SGP, BT4 × BT4P, BT5 × BT4, BT6 × SGP dan SGP × BT6. Kata kunci: hibrida, keragaan, semangka, total padatan terlarut

Understanding to fill the tax return, annual report tax return individual is still lacking, many taxpayers did not understand how to fill out an annual tax return, especially the tax year 2014. The objective was to investigate the influence of socialization Tax, Tax Penalties and Tax e-filing of the tax return reporting annual individual taxpayer. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method and selection of non-random manner convenience. The primary data collection method used is survey method using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear analysis, descriptive analysis and to test hypotheses.

Volunteer tourism is a vital formation of altruistic and sustainable tourism. This research is aimed to empirically find the relative importance of the motivation factors and the motivation realization factors for young tourists participating in the global volunteer tourism programs. The differences in the study variables across continents, gender, and frequency of participation were also scrutinized. A quantitative research approach that utilized the survey method was employed. The outcomes showed that personal development was the most vital motivator for global volunteer tourism. On the other hand, the young tourists felt that they most realized the factor of a new experience through their recent international volunteer tourism experience. The motivation factors and the motivation realization factors were consistent across the continents. Furthermore, the mean differences in the motivations, the motivations’ realization, satisfaction, and the behavioral intentions were revealed to be non-significant for the genders and the frequency of volunteer participation. By grasping the young volunteer tourists’ motivations and the experience evaluations, the volunteer programs can be advanced in consonance with their necessities and demands, which enhance the volunteer tourism experience.

<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><pre><em>                </em><em>Farmer groups are a forum for farmers to make it easier for farmers to carry out their farming, if the farmer group runs effectively in accordance with the goals of the group. Effective farmer groups cannot be separated from the role of group leaders. The head of the farmer group has an important role in supporting the group to achieve its group goals. Based on the background described, then </em><em>the purpose of this research are to know: the effectiveness of paddy farmer group; the leadership level of farmer group; and the relationship between leadership of farmer group leader with the effectiveness of farmer group in Sukoharjo Sub District of Pringsewu Regency. This research was conducted in Sukoharjo Sub District Pringsewu Regency, with 73 respondents of paddy farmer.  Data was collected by using survey method with descriptive analysis and using statistical non parametric test rank spearman correlation to test hypothesis.  The results showed that</em><em> paddy farmer group in </em><em>Sukoharjo Sub District had a high level of effectiveness, had a medium level of leadership of farmer group leader; and leadership of farmer group had significant relationship with farmer group effectiveness.  </em></pre><p> </p><p>Keyword:<em>  effectiveness, </em><em>farmer group</em><em>, leadership.</em></p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p>Kelompok tani merupakan wadah bagi petani agar memudahkan petani dalam menajalankan usahataninya, jika kelompok tani berjalan secara efektif sesuai dengan tujuan kelompoknya. Kelompok tani yang efektif tidak terlepas dari peran ketua kelompok. Ketua kelompok tani memiliki peran yang penting dalam mendukung kelompok mencapai tujuan kelompoknya. Berdasarkan latar belakang yang telah diuraikan, maka tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui: keefektifan kelompok tani padi sawah; tingkat kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani; dan hubungan antara tingkat kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani dengan keefektifan kelompok tani padi sawah di Kecamatan Sukoharjo Kabupaten Pringsewu.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Sukoharjo Kabupaten Pringsewu, dengan 73 petani responden. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey, dengan anilisis deskriptif dan menggunakan uji statistik korelasi <em>rank spearman </em>non parametrik untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelompok tani padi sawah memiliki tingkat keefektifan yang tinggi, memiliki tingkat kepemimpinan ketua kelompok yang sedang, dan kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani memiliki hubungan yang nyata dengan keefektifan kelompok tani.</p><p> </p>

The connectivity of a region is an indicator the growth of service centers. Community service is carried out with a team from PT. Maluku and North Maluku Regional Development Bank Central Maluku Branch during 2018. Data were collected in 18 districts in Central Maluku Regency through the Rapid Survey Method for regional potential and socio-economic dynamics of the community. Central Maluku Regency BPS data support 2018 is a complementary input in the centrality analysis. The data were processed using quantitative descriptive analysis using Guttman scale/Marshall Centrality Index and spatial analysis tools using ArcmapGIS 10.3.1 software, to obtain a map of the regional service center. Central Maluku Regency is an archipelago, having district clusters spread over Seram Island, Ambon, Lease Islands and Banda. The district cluster is divided into 4 regions with the highest level of regional service being in Amahei District (11.14) and the lowest in Nusa Laut (2.50). Economic growth in sub-districts in the archipelago experienced a positive trend, concentrated on Ambon Island and Banda Islands, while the Lease Islands centrality index was in the lower middle category.

This study discusses the competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in the use of technology and information in learning with competency indicators being the ICT training curriculum for madrasa teachers compiled by the Jakarta Education and Religious Technical Training Center. This study aims to determine the competence and problems of Islamic boarding school teachers in the use of information and communication technology in online learning during this covid 19 period. This study uses a case study with all teachers as respondents at MIN 4 Langkat. The research method used in this research is a survey method using a questionnaire that is shared via a google form. Analysis of the data used is a descriptive analysis that describes the qualifications of teacher competence in the use of ICT into four levels, namely very low, low, medium, and high. From the results of the data that has been analyzed, it was found that the competence of teachers in ICT is very low in the ability to use and utilize applications, which is 52%. Furthermore, a very low indicator is found in the experience aspect of participating in training at 57%. This shows that training activities are the most dominant factor causing the low competence of teachers in the use of ICT in learning and therefore the most effective solution to overcome them.

Educational technology as applied science that changes the definition over time makes the study area and contribution of Educational Technology in the education system at Indonesia also changed. This study is to identify the implementation of Educational Technology areas that have been applied in school institutions at elementary school, so in the future undergraduate researchers can do further research. This study is a descriptive research and has a survey method. The purpose of this study is identifying the implementation of Educational Technology areas that have been applied in elementary school institutions consisting of the area of creating, using, managing and evaluation. This study conducted at SDN Tegal Alur 09 From August to October 2017. To collect the data, this study used a questionnaire sheet, an interview sheet, and documentation. The result of this study has two types data, first, in quantitave data all of Educational Technology areas have been applied in school institution, but only three areas, which get a very good score, meanwhile creating the area get a low score. Second, in descriptive analysis data, there are some indicators of creating the area that haven’t been applied yet, but on the other hand, some indicators in all of areas that have been applied still in the simple and restricted form. Based on the result, educational technology as the study and ethical practice to facilitate learning needs to be introduced closer to the school institutions, because school institution still doesn’t know the existence of educational technology and its areas.   References Arikunto, S.
