Kain tenun ikat merupakan warisan budaya, Sumba yang memiliki motif beragam serta memiliki nilai-nilai budaya sehingga urgen untuk dilakukan penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan, 1) Mengidentifikasi fauna dan flora pada motif kain tenun Sumba Timur sebagai media belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 1) Bahwa pada motif kain ikat Sumba Timur terdapat motif fauna dan flora yang ada disekitar masyarakat. 2) Motif kain ikat Sumba Timur mengambarkan hasil pemikiran, pengalaman, pandangan hidup, ataupun benda-benda yang ada di sekitar para penenun. Dengan motif yang bercorak fauna dan flora dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran yang kontektual dalam mengajarkan materi fauna dan flora pada matapelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di Sekolah.WOVEN CLOTH  AS A SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING MEDIA IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN SUMBAThe woven cloth is a cultural heritage, Sumba which has various motifs and has cultural values so it is urgent to do research. This study aims, 1) To identify the fauna and flora on the woven fabric motifs of East Sumba as a medium for learning Social Sciences (IPS) in Elementary Schools (SD). This research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study were found 1) That the motifs of the cloth of East Sumba were found in the motifs of fauna and flora around the community. 2) The motif of the Ikat cloth in East Sumba depicts the results of thoughts, experiences, views of life, or objects around the weavers. With motifs that are fauna and flora patterns, it can be used as a contextual learning medium in teaching material on fauna and flora in Social Sciences subjects in schools.

This article aims to discuss the model of humanism education based on local wisdom in elementary schools (SD) in Bali. This research is qualitative research whose data collection was obtained through literature study, observation, and interviews with education observers, parents, and education administrators, in Denpasar, Badung, and Gianyar. The results of the data obtained were analyzed descriptively by applying the learning theory of humanism. The results of the study show that first, some of the humanism education materials based on local wisdom in elementary schools were studied based on the principles of Balinese Hindu cultural values, namely Catur Asrama (four stages of life), Tatwam Asi (life filosofy), Tri Kaya Parisudha (three concept of human behavior), and Tri Hita Karana (three concept of human relation). The cultural values of local wisdom are synergized with materials sports to hone intelligence kinesthetic students, materials science and mathematics to hone intellectual (academic) intelligence, as well as language material (Indonesian, English), social sciences, arts-culture, and religion to hone social intelligence, intelligence mental, and spiritual intelligence of students. Second, the principles of local wisdom were applied so that students have a holistic intelligence that intelligence has a physical dimension, intellect (logical reasoning), social, mental, and spiritual.

A comprehensive study has yet to be carried out depending on the historical environment particular to the Elementary Schools in Northern Cyprus. The aim of this study is hence to determine whether the coverage of historical environment subjects in elementary school social sciences textbooks is absorbed or not by the 4th and 5th Grades in the context of both content and visuals. The method of study analysed has been organised in accordance with the qualitative research. The population was not indicated pursuant to qualitative research and so purposive sampling was implemented. The textbooks used were mainly selected from the afore-mentioned grades and classes. All the data collected were based on the textbooks used during the assessment process. The data was gathered in accordance with the document analysis technique and everything was analysed in detail. The categories used were generated after the authors performed analysis by utilising textbooks. To ensure the validity of the categories, literature scanning was undertaken and expert opinion was taken. The category definitions were written for public access.Moreover, units, titles and sub-titles were chosen as registration units and studied accordingly. Thus, the texts in the textbooks were guaranteed to cover the sufficient coverage and dimension for teaching the subject. The frequency of categories used under the text in historical environment was given and the number of words for the scope was also indicated. The size of visuals used in textbooks was given in accordance with the categories. As a result of the study, while 5th Grade textbooks cover historical environment subjects, there was no indication for the 4th Grade textbooks. Keywords: social sciences, textbooks, North Cyprus, historical environment, elementary school.

Growing awareness of students to love their own culture is not easy, there needsto be an effort to introduce. Culture-oriented learning supported by relevant teaching materials is an articative to the answer. The purpose of this research is the development of  IPS elementary teaching material  based on  Siak Malay songket weaving. It is expected that with the development of teaching materials students will develop a love for their own culture, especially about the weaving of Malay Siak songket and can also increase learning activities. Teaching material products  can be used in social studies learning for fourth grade elementary school students, especially on the theme of "The beauty of togetherness" with the sub-theme of "cultural diversity of my people". This research used research and development or R&D method with a 4-D model, which consisted of four stages, namely: (1) Define; (2) Design and; (3) Develop, and (4) Disseminate. The results showed that the development of teaching materials that have been developed are feasible to be used and are also practical. This was evidenced by the validity of teaching materials seen from: 1) the feasibility of the contents of 93.7 2) the language convention of 93.7 3) the presentation of 87.5 and 4) the 86 graphics, which obtained an average score of 90.2. while for practicality which was seen from the response of students obtained each statement was in the range of 75 to 93.75 which was included in the category of practical and very practical thus the practicality percentage of 87.5. Then it can be concluded that the development of teaching materials  is feasible and practical to be used for elementary social studies learning in grade IV primary schools.

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran, problema guru dalam melaksanakan penilaian pembelajaran, dan langkah guru dalam menyiasati problema pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 di SD Negeri Ungaran dan SD Negeri Serayu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus.Subjek penelitian enam guru kelas IV yaitu tiga guru SD Negeri Ungaran dan tiga guru SD Negeri Serayu. Instrumen utama penelitian ini adalah human instrument. Instrumen pendukung menggunakan, pedoman wawancara, alat rekam, dan pedoman observasi. Teknik analsis data menggunakan analisis interaktif Miles Huberment (pengumpulan data, reduksi, display, dan verifikasi/membuat kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 belum sesuai standar. Enam guru yang menjadi informan, hanya satu guru yang berhasil melaksanakan sesuai standar yakni GS3,2) Problematika pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 meliputi; waktu, pemahaman guru, produktivitas guru, kepedulian guru dan mindset guru, 3) Bentuk siasat guru dalam mengatasi problematika yaitu siasat kolektif dan individual.Kata Kunci: pelaksanaan penilaian pembelajaran, dan Kurikulum 2013 Problems on the learning assessment of Curriculum 2013 AbstractThis study aimed to investigate the implementation of learning assessment of Curriculum 2013, the problems teachers in conducting learning assessments of Curriculum 2013, and teachers step in negotiating the problems encountered in the implementation of Curriculum 2013learning assessment in primary schools Serayu and Ungaran. This was a qualitative research with a case study. The subjects of the research were six teachers of grade IV, Three of Ungaran and Three of Serayu Elementary Schools. The main instrument was the human instrument. While supporting instruments used interview guid, tape recorder, and observation sheet. The data were analysed using interactive analysis Miles Huberment (data collection, reduction, display, and verification/conclude). These results indicate that 1) the implementation of learning assessment of Curriculum 2013 has not met standards. However, of the six teachers who became the subject of study, only one teacher managed to carry out met standards that GS3, 2) the problems of learning assessment of Curriculum 2013include; time, teachers’understanding, teachers’ productivity, teachers’ awareness and teachers’mindset, 3) the teachers strategy in addressing the problemis the teacher collective and individual strategy.Keywords: assessment of learning and Curriculum 2013

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model atau pola kepemimpinan Dayak yang dilaksanakan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah di SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan kredibilitas melalui teknik triangulasi data dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang dilakukan dengan menerapkan kepemimpinan demokratis dan transformasional melalui penerapan nilai-nilai budaya Dayak yang direalisasikan melalui program kerja sekolah yang jelas dan terukur dengan mendasarkan pada prinsip MBS dan TQM mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pada SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya.  Abstract: This study aims to describe the Dayak leadership model or pattern implemented by the principal to improving the quality of schools at SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation study. The data analysis was performed using a qualitative descriptive method. Data validity checks are carried out with credibility through data and source triangulation techniques. The results showed that the principal's leadership by implementing democratic and transformational leadership through the application of Dayak cultural values realized through clear and measurable school work programs based on the principles of MBS and TQM was able to improve the quality of education at SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya. Research on "Academic Supervision Based on Islamic’s values in Model Elementary Schools of Banda Aceh (An Analysis of Theocentric Humanism)" was conducted in 2019. This research aims to describe, analyze or describe the practice of Islamic value-based supervision covering aspects of theocentric humanism carried out by school supervisors in three Model Primary Schools in Banda Aceh. School supervisors are important in the context of educational development with the supervision model that they run. This study seeks to see how the implementation of Islamic values is applied by supervisors to teachers. This research methodology is a qualitative research by searching, analyzing and making interpretation of data found through the results of documents, interviews and observations. The data that has been collected is checked for validity through the validity of the data in the form of trust. Data analysis technique is to reduce, present, and make conclusions from the results of research. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of academic supervision based on Islamic values has been carried out according to the basic assumptions in this study, although it is not comprehensive. Where, the supervisors carry out the pattern of supervision guidance by promoting democratic values that are full of dialogue, and far from the impression of inspection. Gentle, polite and humorous attitudes can be categorized as humanist values and sincerity and responsibility as theocentric values especially in the context of this study. Even so, this study offers a new model in the implementation of academic supervision based on Islamic values in the future as a form of concern in the realm of education, namely the supervision approach by promoting the principles of humanism and theocentricity as well as the attitude of compassion, courtesy, deliberation, knowledgeable, devoted, fair , authoritative, sincere and aim Rabbani in carrying out every stage of academic supervision.

Social studies learning by utilizing laboratories will make it easier for students to construct concepts and understand the material being taught. The existence of a relatively recently developed social studies laboratory is interesting to study so that it can become a reference for the next development stage. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that the role of social studies laboratories has been used by teachers in improving the quality of learning in schools. Data retrieval is done by interviews, questionnaires and observations Data analysis techniques in research using qualitative analysis is done by reflecting the results of observations of the learning process carried out. Data in the form of words from field notes are processed into meaningful sentences and analyzed qualitatively. IPS Laboratory is able to facilitate understanding, increase students' curiosity. However, this has not been optimal due to several things such as the unavailability of laboratory rooms, the systematic use of social studies laboratories, the lack of procedures for the use of complete IPS laboratories, and problems with facilities and infrastructure that have not been supported.

The purpose of this research is to know the efforts of political education in elementary schools. The research methodology used descriptive qualitative research objects were grade V students of SD Negeri Beraja Asri, Way Jepara, East Lampung in Academic Year 2019/2020. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman is data reduction, data presentation of conclusions. The results showed that political education in elementary schools could be done in various ways, namely through elementary school PPKn lessons, characterizations, and extracurricular activities. The conclusion in this study is political education in SD Beraraja Asri Way Jepara is integrated into primary PPKn subjects and extracurricular activities.

<p class="Abstract">This research is entitled, The Influence of Cooperative Learning Models Type Bamboo Dancing Against Learning Outcomes of Students in Social Sciences Subjects in Primary Schools. This study aims to describe the implementation and influence of the cooperative model type bamboo dancing on improving student learning outcomes in social science subjects. The research problem formulation was formulated as "Is there any influence of cooperative learning model type bamboo dancing on student learning outcomes on social science subjects in elementary school?" The research method used was an experiment with the nature of quantitative research. The research design used is Quasi Experimental Design. The population of this study were students of the Public elementary School Mandalawangi district Cipatat West Bandung District. The research instrument uses observation sheets and test questions. The results of the test research data show that there is an increase in learning outcomes of students in social studies learning in elementary schools with the use of a cooperative type type bamboo dancing, can be seen from the results of the t-test on the sig (2-tailed) section showing differences in learning outcomes of students in post- the test obtained 0,000 this shows 0,000 &lt;0,05, then H<sub>0</sub> is rejected means that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students between the experimental class and the control class there are differences after treatment. This difference suggests that the experimental class is superior and better the results can be seen through the average social studies learning outcomes of students in the experimental class using bamboo dancing models. Based on the proof of the hypothesis that reads "there is a significant influence on cooperative learning models of bamboo dancing type on the learning outcomes of students on social science subjects in elementary schools", the H<sub>1</sub> hypothesis is accepted.</p>

This study aims to examine the planting of values of multicultural education in children in Primary Schools through traditional games. This is motivated by the diversity of cultures, races, languages, and religions in Indonesia. Traditional children's games or called “Dolanan Anak” is one of the nation's cultural assets that must be preserved. Traditional games not only provide value for recreation or pleasure. More than that, traditional games also contain and contain elements of cultural values that are identical to multicultural education. These values are cultural heritage, which is full of the meaning of goodness and is useful in developing community life in children. This article is a study of the research literature that describes traditional games as an attempt to integrate the values of multicultural education. This importance is given to children or students of Primary Schools age in the hope that the children can understand early on that the diversity of national cultures is a vehicle to foster tolerance and respect in their living environment and the external environment that has a diversity of cultures.
