The article is devoted to rethinking methodological approaches in understanding of religion as a value by religious studies. A critical attitude to the previous experience of interpreting a religious phenomenon allows us to perceive religion as a value equal with other types of human self-awareness. This is prompted by the very status of religion in the modern world, which is changing under the influence of globalization and secularization. One of the trends of these processes is the departure from the restrictions of “sectarianism” and “nationalism” in religion to the expansion of the boundaries of understanding spirituality as a universal religious value. The article determines the value of religion in its ontological status, its existentiality, vitality, epistemological meaning, praxeological questionability, in eschatological perspective and hierarchical priority of spirituality, goodness and humanity. Based on this understanding of religion, the authors explicate it in the system of religious values that are implemented in the daily lives of adherents of a particular religion and entire society. The article presents materials of sociological surveys of both international, all-Ukrainian and local levels. The comparative analysis of the received results allows to draw a conclusion about universalization of religious values, to define features of youth perception of religion as a value.

Islam as a religion that is present in all tribes in the archipelago as a value system that integrates with the local culture, so this is often seen by people outside the tribe with Islam Minangkabau, Javanese Islam, and so on. The accumulation of cultures with various intercourses called multiculturalism. But the great possibility both can play an important role in shaping a new culture, because there is a dialogue between the orders of religious values that become the idealism of a religion with local cultural values. As a system of knowledge, religion is a belief system that is full of moral teachings and guidance of life must be studied, examined and then practiced by man in his life. In this case religion provides clues about the "good and bad that are inappropriate and inappropriate" and the "right and inappropriate". Religious values can form and develop human behavior in their daily lives. It is therefore not difficult to understand that having a common symbol is the most effective way to strengthen unity among religious followers. This is because the meaning of these symbols deviates far from the intellectual definitions so that the symbol's ability to unite is greater, whereas the intellectual definition causes division. Symbols can be shared because they are based on feelings that are not formulated too tightly. That is why Islam has historically come to various parts of the archipelago with a relatively peaceful atmosphere with almost no tension and conflict. Islam can easily be accepted by society as a religion that brings peace, even though at that time people have been religious and have their own belief in animism, dynamism, Hinduism and Buddhism. The spread of Islam causes the emergence of Islamic patterns and variants that have uniqueness and uniqueness. It must be realized that the existence of Islam in Indonesia is never single.

How do cognitive paradigms depend on the definition of the existential status of the objects being studied (and vice versa) and what is the specificity of this problem when it comes to the philosophical analysis of religion? Substantiation and relevance of the topic has general and local levels. The question of the relation of knowledge to reality implies the answer to another question: what reality we can know something, therefore the interaction of the theory of knowledge and ontology is one of the heuristic themes of contemporary philosophical discourse. On the territory of the philosophy of religion, which explores objects (and their reflections on them) with a specific ontological status and many cognitive projections, this topic has special cognitive derivatives.

<p>Transport infrastructure is the template upon which we build our inhabitations. Decisions regarding street arrangements, block sizes, and larger scale infrastructure design for example have an enduring and profound affect on the quality of our spatial environments. The conceptual framework we apply when generating and subsequently manipulating this template sets the parameters by which it is judged. By convention, transport infrastructure is considered a purely technical undertaking, within which designers rarely play any meaningful part. The spaces of mobility are thus from their very genesis conceived as instrumental in nature, judged as mere conduits whose function is to join meaningful places such as work and home, fulfilling an economic imperative. Recent research has shown however that affective, symbolic factors play a greater role than instrumental considerations in modal choice of commuters, suggesting that, to the end user at least, transport possesses a value beyond simple utility. Indeed, mobility itself is often cited as a defining characteristic of the modern world, implying a highly symbolic status. This gap between the instrumental conceptual framework we apply to transport infrastructure and the symbolically loaded experience of mobility is an opportunity for design to enrich the experience of users, framed in this research as commuters. Through investigation of the commute as a quotidian, secular ritual greater consideration is given to extra-economic value in the spaces of transport infrastructure. This research analyses the nature and function of ritual in contemporary secular life and argues for the applicability of a ritual framework for understanding value in transport infrastructure. The spatial implications of ritual (defined as symbol + action  and exhibiting the key sociocultural functions of mnemonic and liminality) are explored through the design of a harbour ferry terminal for Wellington.</p>

At the present stage of scientific research, one of the undefined problems in religious studies is, first of all, the problem of the expediency and relevance of the use of the term "primitive religions" or "primitive religious beliefs" in relation to both representatives of Aboriginal peoples of the present and the analysis of the development of religions in the history of forms of religion. discovered in general. The problem of determining the original religion and its forms of expression is somewhat compounded by the fact that the use of special terminology in theoretical developments depends not only on the various features of research methodological approaches, but also on the language in which studies are commonly published. Therefore, the use of one or the other terminology requires the isolation of a possible synonym for relatively adequate nomination (naming) of these religious manifestations.

The idea of reincarnation, the belief in the possibility of reincarnation is now one of the most interesting topics. She increasingly attracts the attention of philosophical, religious, and above all scientific thought. It is difficult not to agree with the depth of the circle of existential issues that it covers, because it is a whole range of problems of human existence: despair, life and death, hope, immortality of the soul. As a result, on the basis of attempts to follow the ways of their solution, vital projects of cultures, valuable landmarks are lined up. In the scale of religious values, the idea of immortality of the soul is in higher hierarchical layers as a goal and an ideal, a condition for the achievement of the otherworldly, kingdom of God. In the context of this gradation, the phenomenon of reincarnation, as containing the idea of eternal existence of the soul, has a value aspect, succinctly fits into the hypothetical problem of human immortality and, in our opinion, requires more in-depth study.

The article analyses the instrumental, social-individual coherence, prestige, cognition, and improvement values of the work, which allows disclosing relevant methodological approaches to the content of vocational education. It is stated that during vocational training, work is usually presented to students not as a value, but as a technological process, with little attention paid to knowing the value context of the work. Therefore, the learning of work technological processes often does not take place in the context of the student’s critical thinking and reflection, during which little attention is paid to the survival of the emotional significance of the work of the student’s chosen profession. To ensure the validity and reliability of the results of the research object quantitative (questionnaire survey) and qualitative (case study) research strategies were used. The study involved 495 students from 27 Lithuanian vocational schools. The study found statistically significant differences between gender in the groups of values of cognition and social-individual coherence. As a result, work often does not become a psychological structure of the student’s value position, which manifests itself in the psychological structure of work values, beliefs, interests, and needs. In such circumstances of cognition of professions, instrumental values, which are characterized by the values of salary, safe, interesting, engaging, and individual-friendly work, are usually established in the curriculum.

The article is focused around ontological status of state in modern political realism. It seems that possibility of moral evaluation depends on the existence of the evaluated object. Only the real objects can be fully valuable. The article demonstrates that theoretical abstraction of social world can function as values only by being the ends that have to be fulfilled. The notion of state plays crucial role in realist theory, while states themselves are basic units of international system. This puts the state in an ambivalent position. On the one hand realists view state as a mere theoretical abstraction without proper existence. On the other hand state acts as a value in analysis of statesmen motives. The author claims that realism, being an “understanding” social theory, is stuck between scientific and political value systems. This problem is possible to solve by splitting the concept of state (and related notions), based on the context of its usage.

Hegel’s analysis of poetry’s genres begins with epic poetry, which is the action-based articulation of a nation’s dawning self-awareness. Lyric poetry, by contrast, allows poets to express their deepest subjectivity and interpret the world through their own experience. Drama brings action back into art, allowing actors themselves to emerge as artists and correcting for the vanishing subjectivity in painting and music. Drama also incorporates the two other poetic genres, as well as the other arts. Because it achieves these syntheses, it is, according to Hegel, the highest art. Hegel gives special consideration to tragedy and comedy, assessing both in their ancient and modern forms. His conclusion is that although both subgenres are more difficult to achieve in the modern world, successful examples are possible, ensuring that poetry will continue. With these poetic subgenres, the individual arts reach their conceptual end.
