Abstract. The effectiveness of a model can be seen from an indication of the increased quality of the process and learning outcomes. High or low student learning activities have an influence on the achievement of learning objectives that have been set. The preliminary study results showed the phenomenon of the low learning activities of class VII F students in PAI learning, especially in doing assignments and discussing in groups which of course must be solved immediately. Through the descriptive method with the CAR model, it is known that the alternative solution is to apply the teams games tournament (TGT) model. After going through two cycles of action and each cycle goes through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation, showing the results that the application of the TGT learning model has become a trigger in increasing student learning activities in PAI learning. Students interested in getting involved in games and tournaments after previously taking steps in presenting and working with teams.

Students feel bored when the teaching approach is monotonous and unchanging, making it essential for Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) teachers to provide variations in the learning process. Therefore, this study aims to determine student motivation in football material by implementing small-sided games. A descriptive and quantitative research method with a school survey approach was employed, while the data was collected by using questionnaires distributed to 49 students. Then, data analysis was performed by using descriptive statistics in the editing, coding, and scoring stages. The results showed that two and four students had 4.1% and 28.6%, meaning they had very low and low motivation to follow the football material. Eighteen students scored 36.7%, nine had 18.4%, while six scored 12.2%, which means they had sufficient, high, and very high motivation. Therefore, the study results concluded that giving small-sided games made students' motivation to follow football material more suitable. Furthermore, a study with more extensive and varied sample sizes was recommended to discover other solutions to the problem.

Changes and developments in education are identical to learning. Because learning is a means to change. Changes as learning outcomes can emerge changes in physical, intellectual, emotional and behavioral changes. Not all learning can achieve the above, systematic and systematic learning that can lead to these changes. The failure of learning is one of the obstacles to change. Deep understanding of the inhibiting factors of learning is one way to overcome them. Failure to learn is a trigger for academic failure achieved by students at school. In this paper there are seven factors that lead to academic failure of students in school, among others: The active cycles experienced by students before they become the trigger for further failure, weaknesses in students in learning that are unclear what orientation and learning objectives in school, weak business those who have not yet shown a resilient effort in learning, low self-control that appears in the effort of low self-discipline in learning, lack of noble attitude that does not seem to like the heavy burden of learning, does not like challenges such as lethargy when added with assignments more learning assignments, low perceptions of learning success which usually do not have an effort to pursue higher achievement, hopes of going forward are very low. All these factors must be packaged systematically so as not to become the biggest obstacle for students in learning not to fail in school. Basically, in schools and in madrasas the teacher has implemented an effort to reduce the failure. It's just that the way teachers do is very conventional, not yet giving contributive meaning to solving student learning failures. like giving assignments or recitation. During this time the task is interpreted in a way to overcome the weaknesses of students, the task should be interpreted as a functional positive attribution to the strengthening of the results of weaknesses or failures of student learning.

This paper examines the perceptions of benefit of Technology EnhancedLanguage Learning (TELL) on students’ language learning, comfort &enjoyment, and increased confidence using technology at a large SouthernCalifornia University during one university term. Through a surveyadministered to 345 beginning language students, 11 tutors and 12instructors, and through selective interviews and classroom observations, several questions were examined: 1.) Perceived confidence, benefits, andcomfort/enjoyment with TELL for instructors, tutors, and students at thebeginning and end of the semester; 2.) Students’ perceived impact ofTELL between pre and post survey measures on second language skills, learning culture, student motivation to learn a language, and preparingstudents for class tests and quizzes; 3.) Whether or not target languageorthography, exposure to TELL, student gender, and instructors’ ortutors’ previous confidence in using TELL, impacted perception of benefitby students; 4.) Positive and negative aspects of incorporating a TELLcomponent in the language classroom for instructors and tutors. Theresults showed that incorporating TELL in a new, but limited, way in allbeginning level classes at one university was a positive experience formany participants, especially in the areas of comfort/enjoyment, andincreased confidence in using technology. However, unless tasks wereclearly tied to learning objectives, students did not recognize theirinstructional value.
