<p>ABSTRACT<br />Sidoharjo village, in Jambon is one of villages in Ponorogo Regency, called as ‘Kampong Idiot’, since there are many villagers having mental retardation. They also have many disabilities, as a matter of fact they can survive and live quite longer. It certainly happens in accordance with the local wisdom of other villagers, the normal people who live in their surrounding. The research, therefore, aims to analyze and describe local wisdom of the community “Kampung Idiot” Sidoharjo Jambon Ponorogo in handling mental retardation people of Kampung Idiot in Sidoharjo village, Jambon district, Ponorogo regency. The research used descriptive-qualitative. The informants comprised of village officers, socialite, religion leader, youth and all family members of mental retardation people. Data were collected by using in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. Source triangulation was excuted in an effort to validate data and then the data were analyzed by using Strauss and Corbin’s Coding model.The local wisdom of Sidoharjo community in handling mental retardation people is a result of relationship among the people in the community, the people and their God, and the people and nature in their surrounding. The local wisdom can be seen from the community’s attitudeaccepting mental retardation people as the parts of the community and they are willing to help the mental retardation people do their personal, household and social activities. The local wisdom of the community seems to happen for (1) a belief in the existence of the mental retardation people is tribulation sent by God, providing deep meaning and boon that need to be faced, (2) they are social ethics and responsible moral for the social environment, (3) the norms include advices, prohibition, punishment, and wise words about life.<br />Keywords: local wisdom, attitude, mental retardation people</p><p>ABSTRAK<br />Desa Sidoharjo Jambon merupakan salah satu kampung di Kabupaten Ponorogo yang disebut “kampung idiot” karena banyak warganya yang mengalami retardasi mental. Warga retardasi mental di kampung ini memiliki banyak keterbatasan namun dapat melangsungkan hidupnya dalam kurun waktu yang relatif lama. Hal itu tentunya terkait dengan sikap arif warga masyarakat di lingkungan sekitarnya. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan kearifan lokal masyarakat Sidoharjo dalam menyikapi warga retardasi mental di “kampung idiot” Sidoharjo Jambon. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Informan terdiri dari pejabat pemerintah desa, tokoh; masyarakat, agama, dan pemuda, serta keluarga warga retardasi mental. Pengambilan datanya menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan pencatan dokumen. Validasi data dengan triangulasi sumber dan analisis datanya dengan model coding Strauss dan Corbin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kearifan lokal masyakat dalam menyikapi warga retardasi mental merupakan hasil dari relasionalitas diantara warga masyarakat, masyarakat dengan Tuhan dan alam. Masyarakat menerima warga retardasi mental sebagai bagian dari dirinya dan berusaha membantunya agar mampu menjalankan aktivitas pribadi, keluarga, dan sosial. Kearifan lokal masyarakat tersebut dipredisposisi oleh; (1) keyakinan bahwa warga retardasi mental merupakan ujian Tuhan yang harus disikapi karena mengandung arti serta hikmah, (2) etika sosial dan tanggungjawab secara moral terhadap lingkungan sosial, (3) norma-norma yang berupa anjuran-anjuran, larangan-larangan, sanksi, dan ungkapan kebijaksanaan akan kehidupan.<br />Kata kunci: kearifan lokal, sikap, warga retardasi mental</p>

This study aims to explore social relations in  Sidorejo Village, Umbulsari District, Jember Regency. Central to this study is the relations and efforts to maintain harmony between Muslims and Christians in Sidorejo Village. The methodology in this study is qualitative methods using historical, religious and social approaches in-depth interview techniques and literature review analysis. The results of this study indicate that social solidarity among the people of Sidorejo in building social relations is very harmonious through several religious and social activities carried out together. Religious leaders and community leaders also participate in building harmony between Muslims and Christians in Sidorejo Village. In conclusion, the Sidorejo people enable to construct harmony and tackle social conflict through mediation before the conflict arises on the surface. Social relations are the key for the people of Sidorejo to build social-based religious harmony, because the goal of building harmony is not theological but how social relations are developed. Some social activities carried out to build communality including building houses of worship. It is more important that the role of religious leaders becomes a central force in ensuring unity and harmony. Keywords: relationship, harmony, Islam, Christian   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali sebuah relasi sosial dalam masyarakat Desa Sidorejo, Kecamatan Umbulsari, Kabupaten Jember. Titik fokus permasalahan yang ingin disampaikan dalam penelitian ini ialah bagaimana relasi dan upaya merawat keharmonisan antara Muslim dan Kristiani di Desa Sidorejo tersebut. Adapun metodologi dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan sejarah, agama dan sosial secara mendalam dengan teknik wawancara dan analisa kajian pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Sidorejo dalam membangun relasi sosial, solidaritas sosial sangat rukun dan harmonis, terbukti dengan adanya beberapa kegiatan agama, sosial dilakukan secara bersama-sama. Tiada lain tiada bukan, peran tokoh agama, tokoh masyatakat juga ikutserta dalam membangun kerukunan antara Muslim dan Kristiani di Desa Sidorejo. Kesimpulannya bahwa hubungan kehidupan masyarakat Sidorejo begitu rukun dan harmonis, resolusi konflik selalu di munculkan sebagai mediasi sebelum konflik itu timbul di permukaan. Relasi sosial menjadi kunci bagi masyarakat Sidorejo untuk membagun kerukunan agama berbasis sosial, karena tujuan membangun keharmonisan bukan dari teologisnya melainkan bagaimana hubungan sosialnya, dan ini terbukti banyak kegiatan sosial yang dilakukan untuk membangun kebersamaan, terutama membangun rumah ibadah. Terpenting lagi bahwa peran tokoh agama menjadi kekuatan sentral dalam menyatukan dan merawat kebersamaan dalam perbedaan demi mewujudkan Sidorejo yang rukun, tentram dan harmonis. This chapter provides a framework designed to address how individual persons respond to changes and continuities in social systems and historical circumstances at different life stages and in different generations. We include a focus on systematic differences among the people who experience these changes in the social environment—differences both in the particular situations they find themselves in and in their personalities. Using examples from research on divorce, immigration, social movement participation, and experiences of catastrophic events, we make a case for an integrated personality and social psychology that extends the analysis across time and works within socially and historically important contexts.

Due to the continuous damage to the environment balance and ecology due to this, not only will the weather, climate and other types of geographical conditions have seen unprecedented changes but also the rate of natural disasters and damage to the environment are mutually mutually beneficial. All the countries of the world should try to compensate for this by establishing mutual coordination among themselves. Development is important for us, but conservation and promotion of environment is more important than that. सामाजिक पर्यावरण ;ठपव ैवबपंस म्दअपतवदउमदजद्धमें परिवर्तित हो रहा है फलस्वरूप पर्यावरण संघटों के मौलिक गुणों में परिर्वतन हो रहा है। स्वस्थ जीवन के लिए पर्यावरणीय परीक्षण आवश्यक है, विकास के संचालन के लिए नत्य व अनत्य संसाधनों को उपयोग दुर्लभ एवं अमूल्य संसाधनों के संरक्षण की आवश्यकता ने पर्यावरण प्रबन्धन को अव्यन्त महत्वपूर्ण बना दिया है। 1पर्यावरण के प्रति सचेत संवदेनशील तथा जागरूक बनाया जाना भी बेहद जरूरी है, लोगो को यह समझाया जाना आवश्यक है कि आखिर हमारा पर्यावरण या परिस्थितिक तंत्र कैसे प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से हमारी सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करता है तथा पर्यावरण का संरक्षण व सवर्द्धन तथा उसको वैश्विक स्तर पर मानवीय हस्तक्षेप के कारण जिस प्रकार पर्यावरण संतुलन तथा पारिस्थितिक को लगातार क्षति पहुचायी गयी है, उससे न सिर्फ मौसम, जलवायु तथा अन्य प्रकार की भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों में अप्रत्यशित परिवर्तन देखने को मिले बल्कि प्राकृतिक आपदाओं की दर तथा पर्यावरण को हुई क्षति के लिए परस्पर एक-दूसरे पर दोषारोपण करने के वजाय विश्व के सभी देशों को आपस में परस्पर समन्वय सम्बन्ध स्थापित करके इसकी भरपाई के लिए प्रयास करने चाहिए। हमार लिए विकास जरूरी है मगर पर्यावरण का संरक्षण तथा संवर्द्धन उससे कही अधिक जरूरी है।

The paper discusses the implications of the social environment on the modern pedagogical process and their interdependence with the physical environment. The initial assumption is that pedagogical processes form certain types of social activities which encourage the development of the appropriate physical environment. Different patterns of social environment are defined by the typological analysis of social activities in the pedagogical process. In addition, the basic research framework implies the cooperation of various forms of social environment and the influencing factors on the organization of the physical environment in terms of contextual changes in the pedagogical process. Defined qualitative properties suggest the creation of a polyvalent physical environment that offers a whole range of intermediate forms for the implementation of various forms of social activities in the pedagogical process.

Abstrak Makalah berjudul “PSK dalam Framing Tiga Monolog” ditulis untuk membahas tokoh PSK dalam ketiga monolog yang bertemakan kehidupan PSK, yaitu Monolog Tanda Tanya (Anggi Eka Putri), Monolog Pelacur (Putu Wijaya), danMonolog Cahaya (Lenny Koroh dan Silvester Hurit). Penelitian dalam makalah tersebut dibatasi pada penampilan tokoh PSK dalam ketiga monolog, pembahasan PSK berdasarkan konsep framingdan representasi, serta sikap lingkungan terhadap tokoh PSK. Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif komparatif pada ketiga monolog. Konsep teoretis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah framing Pan Konscki, serta representasi Hall. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil berikut: (1) PSK yang ditampilkan dalam ketiga monolog ditunjukkan sebagai perempuan yang terjerumus. Tokoh PSK mudah terjerumus ke dalam dunia hitam, tetapi sulit keluar dari dunia tersebut; (2) Berdasarkan hasil framing dan representasi, tokoh PSK merupakan korban yang tidak mampu mengatasi dampak pelecehan seksual atau pemerkosaan. Kekecewaan berkepanjangan tidak pernah teratasi karena tokoh PSK dipertemukan dengan lingkungan atau pihak yang berkompeten menjerumuskan perempuan itu di dunia hitam, misalnya teman atau kekasih. Konflik dengan sosok ayah juga dianggap sebagai pencetus utama tercetusnya seorang perempuan ke dunia hitam; serta (3) sikap lingkungan terhadap tokoh PSK menunjukkan bahwa dunia hitam para PSK bukan dunia yang ramah. PSK tidak dapat ke luar dari dunia tersebut dengan mudah sementara ia harus bertanggung jawab untuk kehidupan anggota keluarganya.  Selain itu, ia harus menanggung risiko besar selama menjalani profesinya, tanpa perlindungan apa pun. PSK bukan saja mengalami kesulitan di dunianya sendiri, melainkan pula di dunia luar. Lingkungan sosial sulit menerima eksistensi mereka, bahkan cenderung merendahkan. Tidak jarang lingkungan sosial dapat menjadi pencetus atau pendukung terjerumusnya seorang perempuan menjadi PSK. Kata kunci: PSK, framing, pelecehan, korban Abstract"PSK in Framing of Three Monologues" discussed prostitute figures on the three prostitute themed monologues:  Monolog Tanda Tanya (Anggi Eka Putri), Monolog Pelacur (Putu Wijaya), dan Monolog Cahaya (Lenny Koroh dan Silvester Hurit). The research was limited to (1) the appearance of prostitute figures in all three monologues, (2) prostitute discussions based on the result of framing and representation, also (3) environmental reactions towards prostitutes. This research is qualitative with a comparative descriptive analysis method on all three monologues. The theoretical concept used in this research was Pan Konscki’s framing, as well as Hall representation of the. The result was below. First, PSK displayed in all three monologues was shown as women who were extremely trapped. PSK figures easily fell into the site, but were difficult to get out from. Second, based on the framing and representation, prostitute figures were victims who were unable to cope with the effects of sexual harassment or rape. Prolonged disappointment had never been resolved because they met with the environment or the competent party plunged them into such world, such as friends or lovers. Conflict with a father figure was also considered as the main originator of the emergence of a woman into the sit. Three, the environmental attitude towards the prostitute shew that the surroundings of prostitutes were not a friendly world. They won’t let to be out of it easily while, on the other hand, they had to be responsible for the lives of their family members. In addition, they were close to high-risks of their profession, without any protection. Prostitutes were not only experience difficulties in their own world, but also in the outside world. The social environment also hardly accepted their existence, even tends to be condescending. Sometimes, it could be the originator or supporter of a woman becoming a prostitute. Keywords: prostitute, framing, harrashment, victims

Abstract The object of this research is about the social interaction and the Islamic law in the Surat Undang-Undang.  Islamic law is the core which is the core of the personality of the Malay community Malays consisting of rulers, kings, rulers, and people.  Surat Undang-Undang is kept in the Special Collection, Leiden University Library. Surat Undang-Undang contained twenty-four clauses that describe the customs and rules that should be guide in Malay traditional societies. However, this writing is focuses to the regulations and laws into the context of Islamic rules. This study was conducted to prove that the Surat Undang-Undang are full of Islamic values, social ethics, culture and rules. Through social interaction, Surat Undang-Undang is the intermediary for conveying religious values ​​and policies among the Malay community who at that time had just embraced Islamic values, ethics, culture and religion. Thus, social interaction between society, the ruler, the people and the people will be refined through the content analysis method by applying the Islamic approach as the basis of this researcg. This research has two objectives, firstly is to identify the rules and Islamic law contained in the Surat Undang-Undang.  Secondly, to analyze the Islamic rules and laws in the Surat Undang-Undang based on the concept of social interaction. Thus, this study were able to demonstrate the process of social interaction among the Malay traditional society, the harmonization of the relationship between the ruling class, the ruler and the rulership of the nation's integration regarding  to the al-Quran and Hadith. Abstrak Objek penelitian ini mengenai interaksi sosial dan peraturan Islam dalam Surat Undang-Undang.  Undang-undang Islam merupakan teras keperibadian masyarakat Melayu yang terdiri daripada golongan pemerintah (raja), para pembesar, dan rakyat.  Surat Undang-Undang merupakan manuskrip Melayu yang tersimpan di Koleksi Istimewa, perpustakaan Universiti Leiden. Manuskrip ini memuatkan dua puluh empat fasal yang menggambarkan adat dan peraturan yang perlu menjadi panduan dalam kalangan masyarakat Melayu tradisional. Justeru, penulisan ini berfokus kepada hal-hal yang bersangkutan dengan peraturan dan undang-undang untuk disuai padankan dengan konteks syariah dan ajaran Islam.  Kajian ini dilakukan untuk membuktikan bahawa Surat Undang-undang sarat dengan nilai, etika sosial, budaya dan peraturan yang berlandaskan Islam. Menerusi interaksi sosial, Surat Undang-undang merupakan perantara untuk  menyampaikan nilai-nilai dan dasar keagamaan dalam kalangan masyarakat Melayu yang pada ketika itu baharu sahaja menganuti nilai, etika sosial, budaya dan agama Islam.Golongan pemerintah dalam komuniti minoriti berusaha  membangun harmonisasi hubungan sosial kemasyarakatan dengan golongan rakyat sebagai komuniti majoriti.   Justeru, interaksi sosial antara lapisan masyarakat iaitu golongan pemerintah, pembesar dan rakyat akan diperhalusi menerusi kaedah analisis kandungan dengan menggunapakai pendekatan Islam.  Kajian ini mempunyai dua objektif iaitu mengenal pasti peraturan dan undang-undang Islam yang termuat dalam Surat Undang-Undang.  Keduanya, menganalisis peraturan dan undang-undang Islam dalam Surat Undang-Undang berlandaskan konsep interaksi sosial.  Oleh itu, kajian ini mampu memperlihatkan kaedah masyarakat tradisional berinteraksi, gambaran harmonisasi hubungan antara golongan pemerintah, pembesar dan rakyat sebagai integrasi bangsa dan merujuk kepada al-Quran dan hadis.

For decades, Pentecostalism has been one of the most powerful socio-cultural and socio-political movements in Africa. The Pentecostal modes of constructing the world by using their performative agencies to embed their rites in social processes have imbued them with immense cultural power to contour the character of their societies. Performing Power in Nigeria explores how Nigerian Pentecostals mark their self-distinction as a people of power within a social milieu that affirmed and contested their desires for being. Their faith, and the various performances that inform it, imbue the social matrix with saliences that also facilitate their identity of power. Using extensive archival material, interviews and fieldwork, Abimbola A. Adelakun questions the histories, desires, knowledge, tools, and innate divergences of this form of identity, and its interactions with the other ideological elements that make up the society. Analysing the important developments in contemporary Nigerian Pentecostalism, she demonstrates how the social environment is being transformed by the Pentecostal performance of their identity as the people of power.

In carrying out its role as a family planning instructor, the duties and functions of family planning instructors are also influenced by the people around them who can support their performance and hinder their performance. Family planning extension workers often interact with the community as program targets, either directly or indirectly. This research is intended to see how much influence the social environment has on the performance of family planning instructors. The research method used is quantitative. The data was collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for its validity and reliability. The population in this study were the Palembang and Prabumulih family planning instructors with a sample of 30 people and were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the social environment has a significant and positive influence on the performance of the extension workers by 75 percent. This means that the better the social environment, the better the performance of the family planning instructors.

Social environment provides organization capability in knowledge creation, transfer and implementation which leading the company into successful knowledge management by providing competitive human capital. PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk as successful Indonesian company in Knowledge Management was awarded the Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) in Asia from 2005 until 2009. The study objectives are 1) to identify knowledge management implementation 2) to analyze the gap between perceived and actual implementation factors in knowledge management 3) to analyze social environment success factor in knowledge management implementation. The primary data collection methods were using questionnaires from 86 respondents and in depth interview with Learning Specialist of PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk, and secondary data were collected from journals, books, company annual year reports and other related literatures. There were five knowledge management implementation approaches used by the company: human resources development, learning environment as a culture, stakeholders’ knowledge as one of resources, community education and supported infrastructure and facilities. Statistical analysis showed there is no gap between perceived and actual implementation factors in knowledge management. And trust, autonomy, involvement and empowerment were the social environment key success factors in knowledge management implementation.
