The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of a significant dimension of cognitive processes between students who were taught by the activity of communicating head-based communicating with students who were taught by conventional learning model in third grade students of SD in Buleleng Regency. This research was quasi experimental research with Non Equivalent Posstest Only Control Group Design design. The data were collected by using objective and esay tests. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of this study showed that the activity of communicating head-based communicating effectively increase the dimension of student cognitive process. It can be seen from the average value of experimental group which was in very high category and the average value of the control group was in hig category. So experiment = 28,5> control = 21,05, and result of hypothesis test by using t-test was obtained tcount bigger than ttable (tcount = 3,62> ttable = 2,93)

This study aimed to determine the effect of applying the flipped classroom model to students’ learning outcomes in oxidation-reduction reactions. It was conducted in SMAN 47 Jakarta. Research method is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 72 students were taken with purposive sampling. Independent variables are the flipped classroom model and direct instructional. Chemistry learning outcome became a dependent variable. The flipped classroom model is invers of the traditional learning model. Students learn the instructional material at home through videos and discussions in class. Analysis of the requirement’s test showed that the data were normally distributed and had homogeneous variances. Hypothesis testing showed different results in a significant level of 0.05. The differences of average value between pretest and posttest of the experimental group is 12.50. While the differences in the control group was 7.17. It can be concluded that the difference of average value between pretest and posttest of the experimental group is higher than the control group. The flipped classroom model can improve students’ learning outcomes in the oxidation-reduction reaction.

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of thick eyebrow formation without shaving eyebrows by applying cream concealer and foundation cream to night makeup, to find out the best results and the panelists' favorite response. This research method is quasi-experimental method with a Non equivalent control group design. The population in the study were students of the Makeup and Beauty of the Padang State University University who had the shape of thick eyebrows and long face shapes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique and using t test analysis. The results of the analysis show that there are significant differences in the results of the resembling indicator of obtaining p>0.05 (P = 0.635), the highest average in the experimental group (X2) is 3.40, at the level of smoothness p<0.05 (p = 0.020), The highest average score in the experimental group (X2) is 3.60, at the level of fineness p<0.05 (p = 0.047), the highest average value is obtained by the experimental group (X2) is 3.47. the best comparison of results is to apply foundation cream (X2). The results show that the advantages of foundation cream are easier to use and are disguised in night makeup

This study aims to determine the RADEC learning model's effectiveness in improving understanding of dynamic fluid material to XI students of Senior High School (SHS) in distance learning (distance learning). This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research population was all students of XI SHS classes, totalling 154 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample is XI-3 class as the control group and XI-4 class as the experimental group. The instrument used was a cognitive test. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the two groups' average value is that the pre-test control group was 58.12, and the post-test was 78.13, while the pre-test and post-test experimental group were 76.72 and 87.19. Thus, it can be concluded that the RADEC learning model is more effective than the conventional learning model.

<p>Abstract<br />The purpose of this research was to improve the writing ability of argumentation of STKIP Melawi students.<br />The method used in this research was quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design.<br />The results of this study were 1) the average pretest of students' argumentation ability of control class was<br />54,94, while posttes 57,20, while experimental class got pretest average value 51,44, and posttes 80,04; 2)<br />There was no significant difference in the ability to write argumentation on pretest tests between the control<br />group and experimental group, whereas in the posttest there was a significant difference in the ability to write<br />argumentation between the control group and the experimental group.<br />Keywords: the writing ability of argumentation, quasi experimental method, nonequivalent control<br />group design, pretes, posttes.</p>

<p>This study aims to determine the effect of using the micro role playing method on empathy for children 5-6 years. This research is a quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group. The study was conducted from April to December 2018. Sampling using saturated samples. The research sample of 36 children was taken from the Dharma Wanita 1 Banaran Kindergarten and Banaran Kindergarten, Kalijambe, Sragen. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the instrument uses expert judgment which is then tested by the instrument. Data analysis consisted of prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The prerequisite test in data analysis consisted of a normality test and a homogeneity test, while a hypothesis test used an independent sample t-test. The prerequisite test results show normal and homogeneous data. The results of the hypothesis test show that the difference in the average value of the posttest value of the experimental group and the control group is 24.33 and 20.33 with a significance value of 0.000 &lt;0.05. While the difference in the value of the pretest and posttest in the experimental group was 18.39 to 24.33. The conclusion of the study shows that there is an influence of the use of the micro role playing method on empathy for children aged 5-6 years.</p>

This study aims to determine the effect of problem solving Polya model assisted by LKPD on the ability to analyze the physics of students. Type of this research is quasi experimental with research design untreated control group design with pre-test and post-test. The population is all students of class X. Samples are taken by using purposive sampling technique, so that the class X of MS 1 as experiment class and class X MS 2 as the control class. The analytical ability is measured by a written test in the form of a description. Based on the research result, the average value of the ability to analyze the experimental class students is 60,16 while the mean of the ability to analyze the control class is 41,53. The data capability of analyzing both classes is normally distributed and both homogeneous. Based on the test of hypothesis test-t polled variance, obtained tcount of 3.681. The ttable value for the data analysis ability of 1.996, at a significant level of 5%. The value of tcount is greater than ttable, meaning that there is influence of problem solving Ploya model with LKPD help on the ability of analyzing the physics of the students.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran group to group exchange terhadap hasil belajar PPKn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalen control group design. Data  hasil belajar  PPKn diambil  menggunakan  soal tes yang sudah memenuhi persyaratan  instrument  penelitian.  Keseluruhan  data  dianalisis secara  kuantitif melalui   uji  parametrik   yang  terlebih  dahulu  diuji  persyaratan analisis.   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahw a ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran Group to Group Exchange  terhadap  hasil belajar  PPKn.  Dengan mencermati  nilai rata-rata  yang sangat tinggi, maka metode pembelajaran ini sangat efektif dan dapat digunakan.  AbstractThe objective of this study w as to determine w hether there w as the effect of the applying of learning methods group to group exchange on learning result in PPKn. This research w as a quasi experimental  w ith nonequivalen control group design. The students’  learning  result of  PPKn data  w as taken used a test item that already fulfill the requirements of the research instrument. Overall, the data analyzed by quantitative through parametric tests w ere first tested analysis requirements. The results show ed that there w as influence learning methods Group to Group Exchange on learning result in subjects PPKn. This study aimed at investigating whether or not there was a significant effect of Big Book as teaching media on the third grade students’ reading comprehension in south Bali. Research design of this study was Quasi Experimental of Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population was 56 students of the third grade students of elementary school in south Bali. Two classes were used as sample of this study. Class IIIA was assigned as experimental group and treated by using Big Book as teaching media. Meanwhile, class IIIB was assigned as control group and treated by using conventional media. The data were analyzed by using t-test through SPSS 16.0. The result of descriptive statistical analysis shows that mean score of experimental group is 80.5357 and control group is 75.3571. It means experimental group gets better score than in control group. The result of inferential statistical analysis shows comparison between tobs (t-observed) and tcv (t-critical value) that is 2.181>2.0049. It means that the value of tobs is higher than the value of tcv. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the third grade students’ reading comprehension taught by using Big Book as teaching media.

This article will discuss learning to write short stories with the picture and picture model. Is there any significant difference between the ability to write short stories using the picture and picture model and that which does not use the model? The study was conducted using quasi-experimental design with the pre test-post test of control group design. The study was conducted in class XI of SMK 2 Cilaku. Data collection techniques use tests and questionnaires. Reliability testing is done with the Cronbach alpha coefficient formula. The calculation results show the reliability value of 0.873 which is greater than the coefficient value of 0.6. Data analysis techniques were carried out using the post-test and t-test results scores. The results showed a significant difference in the short story post-test scores of the control group and the experimental group. In the control group there were 3 (three) students who scored low, 8 (eight) students scored medium, and 3 (three ) students got a high score. In the experimental group 1 (one) student got a low score, 11 (eleven) students scored medium, and 7 (seven) students got a high score. This shows that there are significant differences in short story writing skills between the experimental group and the control group. The results of the t-test of the pre test score and the post test of the experimental group had a significant 2-tailed 0.009 smaller than 0.05, which showed that Ho was rejected with the difference the experimental class average value of 72.9474 higher than the control class of 70.2500, based on these results that the picture and picture learning model can improve the ability to write short stories at SMK Negeri 2 Cilaku.Keywords: implementation, picture and picture model, writing short story

This study aims to determine the effect model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) aided virtual media to the mastery of the concepts of physics students SMK 1 Lingsar Academic Year 2015/2016. This study is a quasi-experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population all students of class X SMK 1 Lingsar and research sample class X-1 and X MM MM-3 were selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis using polled variance t test. The results showed that the model PBL-aided virtual media influence on students' mastery of concepts of physics. Judging from the average value, penguasaam concepts of physics experimental class is higher than the control class. N-gain first test showed that an increase in the value of the mastery of the concept of the experimental class to the theory and calculation.  N-gain second Test results show that the experimental group was higher than the control class in each sub material unless the material collision
