Penelitian This research was conducted in order to understand a form of education that is based on the needs of the community through the use of a variety of capital that can be used in the development of tourism in Buleleng. This study uses ethnographic approach which is a culturalist approach and its emphasis on people's lives. This approach is used considering the culture comes from the community and maintained and implemented by the community. Data in this study were collected through observation and interviews. Moreover carried out literature to books, previous studies and articles that have relevance to the case examined in this study. The data processing is done qualitative descriptive narrative presented. In this case, the existence of regional capitals in Buleleng are very interesting to be known, understood and analyzed in depth in order to produce a model of sustainable tourism. The development of an area into a tourist attraction is not an easy matter. However, the government can work together with local communities to develop the existing tourism in the area, where the first step can be done by utilizing local labor in the area and to synergy between the needs of the community with programs implemented so that the common goal of improving the quality of tourism and social welfare can be achieved.Keywords: an alternative  , education, tourism

The Mangrove Batu lumbang as conservation areas where live so many variety of flora and also has so beautiful view. Although the mangrove has not yet defined it as a tourist attraction, there are few tourist visitors. Assets or potential have been particularly supportive to develop as alternative tourism but there are some issues about garbage and waste. Voluntourism has become one of the best types of alternative tourism to develop. Voluntourism or volunteer tourism is a form of tourism where tourists use leisure time as volunteers and donators on conservation projects in an attraction. The purpose of this study is to identify the chances of voluntourism development in the mangrove forest Batu Lumbang based communities to help the ecosystem and grow the communities also give a new experience for tourist. The study used qualitative descriptive methods. The result of this study is the mangrove forest Batu Lumbang fillup some of the criteria of voluntourism activity. The criteria of the study based on the criteria of the global tourism business industries. Purpose: The purpose of this study is identifying and mapping to select pre-existing potential and the management of tourist attraction which have been developed both from attraction and supporting facility on all tourist attraction in Denpasar city. Research methods: This research used qualitative method with technique of participant observation collecting data, comprehensive interviews and documentation. Results and discussions: The results of this research are recommendation of tourist destinations equally considered for development using Integrated Model of the destination competitiveness model created by Dwyer and Kim (2003). The final results of development strategies are based on the analysis of SWOT. Conclusion: In order to be able to focus on the competitiveness of a destination, a macro business perspective is required for the entire tourism industry, meaning that all stakeholders should work with each other by focusing on the common benefits of destination rather than on opportunistic objectives

Pesantren, as an authentic educational institution initiated by Indonesian Muslims, provides parents aneffective alternative to educate their children. For years, pesantren has proven trusted in educating youthand establishing a standard in both general and religious educations. In this study, the researchers willdiscuss factors that motivate parents to entrust pesantren as the institution to educate their children. Thisstudy uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, andthe results of relevant studies. After analyzing the data, the results indicate that there are two types ofmotives among parents. First is general motivation in placing children in pesantren, namely intrinsicmotivation which covers parents' ideals having a generation with the quality of faith and good moralconduct, forming morals, and building strong physical and mental. The other factor is extrinsic motivation,including intense, integrated, and comprehensive Islamic teaching, positive activities carried outcontinuously for 24 hours, and proper coaching methods. The two factors indicate that parents' motivationto entrust pesantren as an educational institution is relevant to current conditions in which the youngergeneration is prone to moral depravity

The aimed of this study was to analyze the management of Boonpring Ecotourism by Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in order to increase income of the village (PADes). This study uses a case study design with a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative data obtained by conducting in depth interviews, observations and documentation. The informants in this study were the Head of village, the Head of BUMDes, staff and community. Data reduction, data presentation, trianggulation and conclusion are data analysis  used in this study. The results of the study stated that the management of Boonpring Ecotourism had been carried out well by the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) of Sanan Kerto in accordance with the cooperative, participatory, transparent, accountable, and sustainable principles. Good management of Boonpring Ecotourism is expected to increase Income of village in a sustainable manner by exploring the potential of villages through the tourism sector even though there are obstacles in the application of participatory principles, namely the quality of Human Resources (HR) that need to be trained.Keywords: Management Principles; tourismp; BUMDes; Income of Village. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring oleh Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan desa (PADes). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara secara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Desa, kepala BUMDes, karyawan, dan masyarakat. Reduksi data, penyajian data, trianggulasi dan penarikan kesimpulan merupakan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menyatakan pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring sudah dilakukan dengan baik oleh Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Sanan kerto sesuai dengan prinsip kooperatif, partisipatif, emansipatif, transparan, akuntable, dan sustainable. Pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring yang baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Desa secara berkelanjutan dengan menggali potensi desa melalui sektor pariwisata walaupun ada kendala dalam penerapan prinsip partisipatif yaitu kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang perlu dilatih.Kata Kunci: Prinsip Pengelolaan, wisata, BUMDes, PADes.

Public Relations of Headquarters of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI Headquarters) must work with the Government Public Relations strategy to maintain a reputation by maintaining credibility, trustworthiness, reliability, and responsibility in delivering positive news to the internal and external public. This study aims to see how the government public relations strategy of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Information Center (Puspen TNI) maintained the reputation of the TNI institution. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by interviewing the Head of Puspen TNI, non-participant observation, and documentation. The results showed that Puspen TNI in maintaining the reputation of the TNI, first, maintained credibility by measuring the objectivity and quality of the news. Second, it proclaimed information about TNI and the contribution of the TNI to the nation-state to the public through mass media and social media. Third, it disseminated the news according to the facts. Forth, it reported the performance of the TNI to the external and internal public regarding responsibility to the state and nation professionally and proportionally by providing information delivered directly through the TNI website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TV public relations TNI Streaming produced by Puspen TNI. It also maintained good relations between external media and editor in chief and journalists of print, electronic and online media.

RRI Mataram is an independent, neutral and non-commercial Public Broadcasting Institution that serves to provide information broadcasting, education, healthy entertainment, social control, and maintain a positive image of the nation in the international community. In the digital era, which was the era of media convergence, RRI Mataram did not escape from efforts to remain in the midst of society. This study aims to determine the management strategy of LPP RRI Mataram in the face of the digital era. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with several steps, namely: Observation, interview, documentation, data analysis and conclusion. From the results of the study, the researchers formulated LPP RRI Mataram's management strategy using a SWOT analysis, including: understanding market share by presenting interesting and interesting shows to the community, maximizing and expanding networks of cooperation with various agencies, utilizing relations with the government, organizing programs for listeners, provide rewards for employees who excel, improve the quality of human resources by providing continuous training, conduct Joint Branding, add segmentation to program 2, improve program quality, and utilize other media as a medium to improve the existence of LPP RRI Mataram, and also complete broadcast systems with audio and video streaming, as well as fixing the RRI PLAY GO application, and minimizing technical problems with optimal device maintenance. Keywords: management strategy; radio; RRI Mataram; digital era

Surabaya City currently lacks of potential natural tourism, Surabaya needs new alternative tourism to increase tourists to visit Surabaya by making museum tours become a tourist attraction. One of the factors that influencing tourists to visit are the promotion factor and service quality. This research was conducted to find out the influence of promotion and service quality towards interest to visit to museum Surabaya. The promotion aims to provide & attract tourists to visit. The quality of service is needed so that tourists feel comfortable to visit the museum and desire to revisit museum. The accidental sampling technique used by distributing questionnaires to 100 local tourists who visiting the museum . Multiple linear regression was used to measure the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable using SPSS version 24.0. The results of this research showed that the promotion variable (X1) does not partially had a positive and significant effect on tourit interest (Y) with t-count 1,629 < t-table 1,984. Service quality variable (X2) partially had a positive and significant effect with t-count 6,907 > t-table 1,984.Promotion variable (X1),and service quality variable (X2) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect with F-count 35,561 > F-table 3.939. Based on the results of multiple linear regression test, obtained the regression equation is Y = 13,849 + 0,200 X1 + 0,366 X2 + e with the correlation coefficient of 0.650 and the determination coefficient of 0.411 (41,1%).

This research aimed to identify and analyze the principles, standards, elements, and quality of public services at the Office of Industry, Trade, and Cooperatives of Yahukimo Regency, Indonesia, located in a remote area. The research method applied was a qualitative descriptive survey with observation and interviews. The interviewees in this study were from 15 informants of different position levels. This study employed an interactive model to analyze the interview data. There were four main findings; firstly, in terms of the principle of public service transparency, the public was increasingly motivated to convey their demands, requests, and aspirations to the government. Meanwhile, accountability services were satisfactory per the provisions of laws and regulations, but public participation in public services was still lacking. Secondly, public service standards and service procedures were implemented following the stipulated provisions and competencies of officials. Those public officers had related-abilities in the form of knowledge, prowess, skill, attitude, and behavior that are required in completing their duties. Thirdly, in terms of public services, the public officers’ work ethic was a driving force for the officials to comply with the prior-set and agreed with rules and work procedures. At the same time, the facilities and infrastructure were adequate. Finally, regarding the quality of public services, the goals and targets of the service were well achieved.

Starting in 2010 the Government of Yogyakarta, according to regional regulation about parking and levy on the edge of public street parking. This policy expected to increase parking levy’s revenues, more secure services and convenient parking, and traffic flows smoothly. This research used qualitative descriptive method. This research analyzed qualitative indicators of quality of service: 1) tangible 2) reliability; 3) transaparant and 4) security. This research found that public street parking less well and yet according to the wishes of the community. This is because the layout of the parking spaces are not in place that interfere with the capacity of highways and disrupting the pedestrian capacity. Then the rates charged by parking operator which do not comply with official rates. Human resources of Transportastion Department that monitor directly into the field just a pick up that add up to 12 people to keep an eye on the parking lot 900 people outside the parking operators so ineffective, so that a parking lot of cheating.Keywords: Parking Service Quality, Parking Space, Lack of Human Resource.

This paper aims to (1) analyze the implementation of Community Forest Program(HKm) by Wana Lestari Group in Dara Kunci Village, East Lombok District; (2) todescribe the supporting and inhibiting factors of Community Forest Program (HKm)implementation. The research method used qualitative descriptive method with referenceto suitability between Community Forest Program (HKm) implementation process inDara Kunci Village of East Lombok District of NTB (West Nusa Tenggara) Province withRegional Regulation of NTBProvince number 6, 2004 concerning Guidelines forImplementation of Community Forest (HKm) in NTB Province, and to analyze thesupporting and inhibiting factors referring to the theory of Conformity Model David C.Korten. The research location in Dara Kunci Village, East Lombok District, NTBProvince, uses data collection techniques with in-depth interview, literature study andobservation. The result of this research shows that there is inconsistency with RegionalRegulation of Province of NTB Number 6, 2004, which is caused by: (1) Motivation frombeneficiaries community to manage HKm area; (2) There has been no programevaluation from the government; (3) Seeds that are imported are not seasonallyappropriate; (4) The technical implementation unit is not supported by adequate financialresources; (5) Area of HKm area and number of groups resulted in less maximalassistance; (6) Community empowerment programs that are not properly targeted; (7)Development of community potential is not optimal. Based on the result of this research,it is formulated suggestions: (1) The need to improve the quality of partnershipcooperation with various stakeholders both government and private institutions so that itcan benefit maximally to all members of HKm Group Wana Lestari Desa Dara Kunci (2)The need for refreshing to group members related to the pattern management of HKm,thus re-understanding the rules of planting, rights and dutyin managing of HKm area. (3)The need to improve the quality and capacity of the group through routine facilitation inthe field because this can affect the running program process or not, especially to theboard so that the group organization can run well. (4) For the implementation ofrehabilitation activities it is necessary to improve the quality of planning so that the resultcan be maximized. (5) There needs to be an increase of training on the processing ofproducts from forest resources, especially to women farmer group from this HKm group.
