Abstract: The role of boarding schools is needed by the community. Astraditional social institutions, Pesantren Al-Amin has a very wide influence androoted to the people around him, especially in the village of Rejomulyo Kediri.Contribution in the form of boarding facilities and Islamic education to the communityenvironment. Results from this study are: (1). Activities and education in Al-Aminboarding school Rejomulyo Kediri is madrasah diniyah, al-Qur'an, al-Hadith, Tafsir,Akhlaq, Tawheed, Fiqh, Sufism, Nahwu, Shorof, and others, as well as other religiousactivities. (2). Facilities provided Pondok Pesantren al-Amin to the students in thesurrounding communities are free of charge for the students Rejomulyo Villageresidents, Hot spot areas, bulletin boards, social activities, and other intellectualactivities, as well as living facilities.Keywords: boarding school, Contribution, Education, Facility. Abstrak: Peran pondok pesantren sangat dibutuhkan kehadirannya olehmasyarakat. Sebagai lembaga sosial tradisional, Pesantren Al-Amin mempunyaipengaruh yang sangat luas dan mengakar kepada masyarakat yang ada disekitarnya, khususnya di lingkungan Desa Rejomulyo Kota Kediri. Sumbangsihpondok pesantren dewasa ini sudah sampai ke dalam ranah fasilitas, danpendidikan agama Islam kepada masyarakat lingkungannya. Hasil dari penelitianini adalah: (1). Kegiatan dan pendidikan yang ada di pondok pesantren Al-AminRejomulyo Kota Kediri adalah madrasah diniyah, dengan mengkaji al-Qur’an, al-Hadis, Tafsir, Akhlaq, Tauhid, Fiqih, Tasawuf, Nahwu, Shorof, dan yang lain, sertakegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan lainnya. (2). Fasilitas yang diberikan PondokPesantren al-Amin terhadap masyarakat pelajar di sekitarnya adalah biaya gratisbagi para santri kalong warga Kelurahan Rejomulyo, Hot spot Area, Mading,Kegiatan sosial, dan kegiatan intelek yang lainnya, juga tidak ketinggalan adalahfasilitas tinggal.Kata Kunci: Pesantren, Sumbangsih, Pendidikan, Fasilitas.

da'wah in Indonesia. In addition, Islamic boarding schools are defined as sustainable ritual institutions, moral development institutions, as covering Islamic Education. It is also as social institutions that have experienced various life variations; which is adjusted to the burden of growth of the community in the midst of the pesantren. This research is intended to describe the history  and the social changes of the  communities of the Al-Ishlah Sidamulya Astanajapura Cirebon Islamic Boarding School. It is also to describe the role of the Boarding School in fostering the lives of the community around the pesantren. This study uses historical history studies. The results of this study indicated that the Al-Ishlah Sidamulya Islamic Boarding School is one of the pesantren which has an important role in matters relating to the Sidamulya community; in religious, educational, social and economic fields of the communities. The social changes happen in the communities are malima activity (the thief, main, madat, mabok, madon) changed to salima (shubuh, dhuhur, ashar, maghrib and isya). In addition, planting the values of Islam to show the real Muslim through routine tarikat (Tijaniyah), activities of manakiban, tahlilan and tadarrusan.

Thus, the development of the world of Islamic education, especially Islamic boarding schools, becomes more diverse and varied. Both in terms of the manhaj of thought, da'wah methods, and the forms and concepts of learning in Islamic boarding schools. This fact becomes a new problem for Muslims, for maintaining the congregation's values as Muslims, during the presence of differences in manhaj and methods of view on the da'wah of Islam itself. Therefore, in this study, researchers are interested in reviewing how the communication skills of KH. Soleh Iskandar in building collaboration and cooperation with Islamic boarding schools. Later it was recorded in history that he could initiate the birth of a cooperative forum for Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Namely the Boarding School Cooperation Agency (BKSPP). Researchers hope that the achievements that KH has made. Soleh Iskandar can be continued by the current generations of Islamic boarding schools. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini, peneliti tertarik untuk mengulas bagaimana kecakapan komunikasi KH. Soleh Iskandar dalam membangun kolaborasi dan kerja sama lembaga pesantren. dikemudian tercatat dalam sejarah mampu memprakarsai lahirnya wadah kerja sama pondok pesantren di Indonesia. Yaitu Badan Kerja sama Pondok Pesantren (BKSPP). Peneliti berharap bahwa pencapaian yang telah dilakukan KH. Soleh Iskandar dapat dilanjutkan oleh generasi-generasi pondok pesantren saat ini. Dalam upaya menguatkan fungsi dan peran pesantren dalam membina umat dan melahirkan pemimpin bagi masyarakat. </span></p>

Answering the needs of the era, schools Salaf open formal educational institutions. Sensitivitypesantren Salaf against the phenomena that appear in the society is a social concern and reflexive owned evenare characteristic. So that the aspirations of the people making the boarding school received the developmentand advancement of science and technology. The real step taken is establishing formal educational institutionsfrom kindergarten through college. The character of a scholar is asceticism and totality. On the other hand,people still expect the efficacy of the function and role of pesantren Salaf like period once, without knowing thatit is actually what is expected it is experiencing overcast condition and shrinkage. Expenses are given the addedweight and more and more, but the ability to lift a boarding school in general was declining. Source overcastcondition and depreciation mainly boils down to the weight and quality of the “clerics who brought up”. Islamic educational institutions are places that can help people instill and develop Islamic teachings and values. In Islamic teachings, there is a teaching of moderatism that teaches a middle position or can be said to be not fanatical or excessive in thinking and acting. The education of Islamic education institutions in the village of Perbutulan plays a role in moderate religious education, influencing changes in social and religious behavior in community life as well as on priority fiqh problems that exist in the kelurahan of perutulan. As well as the role of Islamic education institutions in the attitudes of the people of the kelurahanperutulan towards differences in views between fellow Islamic educational institutions. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through interviews with those involved in Islamic education institutions and filling out online questionnaires to the community per month. The role of Islamic education institutions in the kelurahan towards religious moderation is as an introduction that in religion one has to respect one another, practice religion according to the guidance of the Al-Qur'an and the Sunnah. The Forestry Society does not argue over the differences between fiqh that exist in the community perutulan. with the existence of Islamic education institutions in perutulan can help people in carrying out daily life with religious knowledge that has been taught.

This study investigates the prevention of juvenile delinquency at a boarding school, i.e. Daarut Tauhid Secondary Boarding School. The aim of this study is to explore the preventive and repressive attempts made by the boarding school to overcome juvenile delinquency. This study employed a qualitative approach in the framework of a study case method. Observation, interview, and documentation were used as the data collection. The informants of this study consisted of Darut Tauhid Boarding School staffs, the students, and the people who lived around the school area. The results of this study show that the preventive and repressive attempt to prevent juvenile delinquency is made by maximizing the role of Islamic education.

Islamic Boarding school is an islamic education institution which has an identical tradition in indonesian muslim societuy. This institution has emerged long before the colonialism era in Indonesia. In its long history since years to pursue the concept of modernism, islamic boarding school, sometimes ,has also been perceived negatively because of transnasionalism ideology which is adopted in recent years. In that case, this paper aimed to describe the existence of islamic boarding school in indonesian social life. By argumenting and comparing some previous studies in this case to gain an accurate result. Moreover, this paper is intended to answer some western perception about islamic boarding school in Indonesia, and finally emphasize the role of islamic boarding school as a government partner and its function in creating democracy.  Keyword: Islamic Boarding School, Tradition, Modernization.

The people who live in Anggrasmanis village, consist of various kinds of religions. There are Islam, Christian, and Hinduism. The tolerance between religious communities in Anggrasmanis village was maintained even though it was often tinged with tension and suspicion. This encourages religious figure to build communication. This study aims to describe how the pattern of communication inter-religious figures in Anggrasmanis village, so attitude of tolerance is born. The type of research used  is a qualitative description method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers’ finding communication patterns of religious figures in Anggrasmanis village are linear communication patterns and circular communication patterns that occur in direct conversation between religious figures and direct feedback. The role of religious figures to building tolerance at Anggrasmanis village is by participating in activities at the village such as religious holidays.

Abstract The Wukan Incident attracted extensive attention both in China and around the world, and has been interpreted from many different perspectives. In both the media and academia, the focus has very much been on the temporal level of the Incident. The political and legal dimensions, as well as the implications of the Incident in terms of human rights have all been pored over. However, what all of these discussions have overlooked is the role played by religious force during the Incident. The village of Wukan has a history of over four hundred years, and is deeply influenced by the religious beliefs of its people. Within both the system of religious beliefs and in everyday life in the village, the divine immortal Zhenxiu Xianweng and the religious rite of casting shengbei have a powerful influence. In times of peace, Xianweng and casting shengbei work to bestow good fortune, wealth and longevity on both the village itself, and the individuals who live there. During the Wukan Incident, they had a harmonizing influence, and helped to unify and protect the people. Looking at the specific roles played by religion throughout the Wukan Incident will not only enable us to develop a more meaningful understanding of the cultural nature and the complexity of the Incident itself, it will also enrich our understanding, on a divine level, of innovations in social management.

ABSTRAK: Permasalahan pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Apa latar belakang terbentuknya Desa Talaga Besar Kecamatan Talaga Raya Kabupaten Buton Tengah? (2) Bagaimana berkembangan Desa Talaga Besar Kecamatan Talaga Raya Kabupaten Buton Tengah Tahun 1977-2017? Metode sejarah tersebut adalah: (a) Pemilihan topik (b) Heuristik (Pengumpulan Data) (c) Verifikasi (Kritik Sejarah) (d) Interpretasi (e) Historiografi (kritik sejarah). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Desa Talaga Besar awalnya hanya dijadikan tempat untuk berkebun atau bercocok tanam, misalnya menanam jagung dan ubi kayu sebagai makanan pokok masyarakat setempat dan pada umumnya masyarakat Buton. Karena seiring berjalannya waktu dan peradaban serta jumlah penduduk semakin bertambah banyak. Pemerintah daerah berinisiatif memekarkan desa Talaga Besar menjadi desa definitif. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung terbentuknya Desa Talaga Besar ini ialah: (a) Adanya peranan pemimpin yang selalu memberikan motivasi kepada warga untuk aktif dalam setiap kegiatan yang sifatnya membangun. (b) Faktor pendukung diantaranya faktor geografis (wilayah), faktor demografi (penduduk), dan faktor ekonomi. (2) Perkembangan Desa Talaga Besar dalam bidang ekonomi, sebagian besar masyarakat Talaga Besar menggantungkan hidupnya di bidang pertanian dan perdagangan yang telah dilakukan dan dikembangkan secara turun temurun. Di bidang sosial, hubungan sosial kemasyarakatan antara warga Desa Talaga Besar cukup harmonis. Di bidang pendidikan, perkembangan pendidikan di Desa Talaga Besar pada khususnya dan Kecamatan Talaga Raya pada umumnya mengalami perkembangan pendidikan yang boleh dikatakan sudah cukup baik dan infrastruktur lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan keadaan sebelumnya. Kata Kunci: Sejarah, Desa, Talaga BesarABSTRACT: The main problems in this study are: (1) What is the background of the formation of Talaga Besar Village, Talaga Raya District, Buton Tengah Regency? (2) How did the development of Talaga Besar Village, Talaga Raya District, Buton Tengah Regecy Year 1977-2017? The results of this study indicate that: (1) Talaga Besar Village was originally only used as a place for gardening or farming, for example planting corn and cassava as a staple food for the local community and in general the Buton people. Because over time and civilization as well as the population increases. The regional government took the initiative to split the village of Talaga Besar into a definitive village. The factors that support the formation of the Talaga Besar Village are: (a) There is a role of leaders who always motivate citizens to be active in any constructive activity. (b) Supporting factors include geographical factors (region), demographic factors (population), and economic factors. (2) The development of Talaga Besar Village in the economic field, most of the Talaga Besar people depend their lives on agriculture and trade which have been carried out and developed for generations. In the social field, social relations between the people of Talaga Besar Village are quite harmonious. In the field of education, the development of education in the village of Talaga Besar in particular and the Talaga Raya sub-district in general experienced a development of education which was arguably quite good and the infrastructure was better when compared to the previous situation. Keywords: History, Village, Great Talaga

Abstract Liberalitas was one of the most important forms of social activities of the Roman emperors. In quantitative terms, it is also one of the five most important imperial virtues. It appeared on coins as Liberalitas Augusti, which gave this virtue an additional, divine dimension. The first Empress to depict the idea of imperial generosity on the coins issued on her behalf was Julia Domna. In this respect, her liberalitas coins mark a breakthrough in the exposition of this imperial virtue. The well-known female liberalitas coin issues, or imperial issues with empresses’ portraits, date back to the third century and clearly articulate the liberalitas, both iconographically and literally, through the legend on the reverse of the coin. Other coins, issued on behalf of the emperors (mainly medallions), accentuate in some cases (Julia Mamaea, Salonina) the personal and active participation of women from the imperial house in congiarium-type activities. The issues discussed and analysed, which appeared on behalf of the emperors or the imperial women – with a clear emphasis on the role of women – undoubtedly demonstrate the feminine support for the emperor’s social policy towards the people of Rome, including the various social undertakings of incumbent emperors, to whom they were related. They prove their active involvement and support for the image of the princeps created by the emperors through the propaganda of virtues (such as liberalitas). The dynastic policy of the emperors, in which the empresses played a key role, was also of considerable importance.
