This study aims to identify competitive strategies of Ivanova Printography using SWOT analysis and IE matrix. The data were gathered from the owner, competitors, consumers, and employees. Descriptive qualitative was to interpret the results of the SWOT analysis. The results show that the most important thing is that Ivanova Printography should focus on its strengths, minimize the existing weaknesses and threats, and fill the opportunities available. The best combination is to apply the SO strategy (a combination of Strength and Opportunity). It includes conducting market development (Market Development Strategy) by opening a branch in the area of Semarang, adding new customers by developing markets outside Semarang, adding marketing staff and customer service to deal with customer orders in Semarang that have been increasing and routine, increasing promotions of photo products to increase revenue by conducting more intense promotions through social media such as Twitter, Instagram, BBM, and Whatsapp. The theme of advertisements should be more elegant and focuses on target customers or market segments. The IE matrix results in quadrant I, Grow and Build. The suitable strategies are intensive or integration. The intensive and integration strategy fit for photography industry is to apply market development strategy by expanding market share outside Semarang so that more people recognize Ivanova Printography.

To be able to survive in a continuously growing competitive environment, the right business strategy is needed. Aim of this research is to formulate a set of marketing communication mix strategies to increase room sales and hotel profits for The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan. The methods used in this research are SWOT analysis and IFE-EFE matrix. The findings  suggested that the Hotel must hold and maintain strategy whereas it can be elaborated into four aspects 1) horizontal integration strategy by seeking ownership or increased control over competitors; 2) market penetration strategy; by seeking increased market share for present products or services in present markets through greater marketing efforts; 3) market development strategy by  introducing present products or services into the new geographic area, and 4) product development strategy; by seeking increased sales through improving present products or services or developing new ones.

Prior to the 1998 economic downfall, and in ten years after in 2008, BMT (Baitul Maal wa Tamwil) proofed the endurance to remain stable. From those external factors, strived the company very hard hard to sustain its business, as well as to formulate a better strategy to its competitive advantage. The research begins with the internal and external analysis, using a SWOT Analysis. The results shows its business strength and its market penetration, lies in its company’s human development. Through the IE Matrix, founds BMT Beringharjo competitive position in Quadrant or cell IV Matrix IE, with growth strategy through horizontal integration concentration. Based on its position of: (1) competition; (2) strength; (3) weakness; (4) opportunity; (5) threats. Enriched with strategy of: (1) market penetration; (2) market development; as well as (3) horizontal integration strategy to the creative innovation strategy is inevitable to remain exist and gain more success.

The growing public interest in travelling has become a different strength for the tourism industry currently. The existence of a person on a trip that can be shown on social media can be a force that indirectly becomes a promotional tool. The tourist village that is currently trending is a form of tourism which consists of natural tourism which is integrated with other tours, to provide a unique value compared to additional terms. The Karst area in Maros and Pangkep Regencies has the potential to be used as a tourist area, but currently, these karst areas have been widely used as raw material for the cement industry. One of the villages that has natural karst tourism in Maros Regency is the village of Botolempangan which has been planned by the village government as a tourism village because it has various unique natural resources that can become new income alternatives for the community, so it is essential to be developed as well as a reason to maintain the area. Karst which began to be eroded by industrial companies. The purpose of this study was to identify tourism potential and analyze the development strategy of the tourist village of Botolempangan. The research method used is observation, in-depth interviews and FGD. The analysis used is a descriptive qualitative analysis and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the village of Botolempangan has tourism potential in the form of natural karst tourism, cave tourism (leang), fisheries tourism, Sulawesi endemic monkeys, natural scenery, outbound, camping and educational tours. Based on the SWOT analysis, there are four strategies that can be carried out to develop the tourist village of Botolempangan, i.e. 1). The increased synergy between the government, universities and the community, especially managers in maximizing the supporting factors for the implementation of tourism villages 2). We are managing the Botolempangan karst area into a tourism village that is integrated with nature tourism, fisheries tourism, culinary tours and educational tours 3). Optimizing village budgets to improve tourist facilities and providing education for managers in supporting tourism 4). Increased promotions that prioritize the uniqueness of the region, facilities and the convenience of visiting through social media and partnerships with a local travel.

Electronic-based Government System (SPBE) is the government's effort in developing an electronic-based government organization, so that there is an increase in the quality of public services. The system that runs in Sukabungah which is still manual and the lack of providing information to the community related to village services is an obstacle in improving the quality of the organization. Therefore the use of organizational development strategy analysis is very necessary for the Sukabungah village office  to achieve maximum organizational strategy. In this study the method used in improving the quality of service is the SWOT analysis, which is used to develop the potential of the organization and to find out internal and external factors of the organization. In the SWOT analysis that has been carried out on Sukabungah village office it can be seen that Sukabungah village office is included in the quadrant I strategy which means supporting an aggressive strategy, therefore in developing an organization that will be achieved has a huge opportunity, so this can be a good development for Sukabungah sub-district. Implementation in the development of this SWOT analysis is by designing a village service information system where this system will assist the government in improving the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) as well as assisting the urban village in improving the quality of the organization and facilitating the existing service system.

ABSTRAKKelompok Usaha Kopi Luwak Manglayang (KLM) berusaha mengembangkan agrowisata kopi  luwak dengan menerapkan  kaidah kesejahteraan hewan di kawasan kaki Gunung Manglayang, namun saat ini belum dikembangkan secara optimal. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelompok usaha KLM, di kaki Gunung Manglayang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian studi kasus. Rancangan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, analisis matriks IFE, analisis matriks EFE, dan analisis SWOT. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa kegiatan agrowisata kopi luwak yang telah dilakukan oleh KLM mulai dari edukasi mengenai proses produksi kopi luwak dengan menerapkan kaidah kesejahteraan satwa hingga wisata kuliner. Strategi yang telah dilakukan oleh KLM dalam pengembangan agrowisata kopi luwak adalah membuat rencana dalam perbaikan fasilitas di lokasi KLM, meningkatkan cita rasa kopi yang dihasilkan oleh KLM, dan melakukan promosi agrowisata KLM melalui media sosial. Strategi yang paling tepat dan diutamakan dalam pengembangan agrowisata KLM yaitu strategi agresif dengan meningkatkan berbagai daya tarik agrowisata KLM serta memperluas pemasaran agrowisata KLM.Kata kunci: agrowisata, strategi pengembangan, analisis SWOTABSTRACTKelompok Usaha Kopi Luwak Manglayang (KLM) trying to develop civet coffee agrotourism by applying animal welfare rules in the Manglayang Mountain, but currently it has not been optimally developed. The study was conducted at Kelompok Usaha Kopi Luwak Manglayang (KLM), at Manglayang Mountain. The research design used is qualitative with case study research techniques. The data analysis design used qualitative descriptive analysis, IFE matrix analysis, EFE matrix analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the civet coffee agrotourism activities conducted by KLM started from education about the production process of civet coffee by applying animal welfare principles to culinary tourism. Strategies that have been made by KLM in the development of agro civet coffee is making plans in facility improvements at the site of KLM, enhance the flavor of the coffee produced by KLM and KLM agrotourism promotion through social media. The most appropriate strategy and priority in the development of agro-KLM is an aggressive strategy to increase the variety of agro-tourism appeal and expand marketing agro KLM KLM.Keywords : agrotourism, development strategy, SWOT analysis

This study aims to identify the traditional market development strategy based on local wisdom in Koto Baru Traditional Market, X Koto Subdistrict, TanahDatar District. This research is a qualitative research, and is conducted in Koto Baru Traditional Market of X Koto Subdistrict of Tanah Datar Regency which is taken based on Purposive Sampling. The data in this research is collected through observation, interview and documentation and continued with data analysis, Interpretation and Withdrawal Conclusion and then continued to do SWOT analysis to get the strategy in development of Traditional Market of KoToBaru Sub X Koto Tanah Datar regency. The results show Based on the results and discussion above it can be concluded that the study of market development based on the arrangement and management of traditional markets in Traditional markets District X Koto Flat district is the Government together with the community together develop the market as an agricultural production market organic farming, Government and society jointly promote the market, Make improvements and additions to various facilities and infrastructure Traditional Market, Providing an understanding to the public the importance of maintaining and protecting Traditional Markets, Focusing on improving the infrastructure of market stalls so as not to disturb the pedestrians, Doing Market development by not damaging the environment Market, economic activities of the community by providing capital in developing organic agricultural markets, Improving the relationship of cooperation between the community and government in market development., Keeping peace and security n market. The present study provides a comparative analysis of development strategy selection and presents an overview of multiple-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) in strategic management. The main aim of the paper is to use the analytic network process (ANP) as one of MCDA methods for determining the best strategy. Based on expert opinions and analytic hierarchy process (AHP), the authors have identified and evaluated SWOT analysis factors used for the development of a company strategy. To investi-gate the interaction of external and internal environment, the authors have used the ANP that allows obtaining relative measurement of the influence of SWOT elements. The ANP is useful with regard to interdependent relationship between multi-objectives and multi-stakeholders’ environment. The algo-rithm of quantitative evaluation of telecommunication company strategies is also presented in the paper.

Pengembangan rumput laut di Pulau Nain membutuhkan strategi untuk meningkatkan kembali produksinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan strategi-strategi dalam pengembangan budidaya rumput laut. Penyusunan strategi menggunakan analisis strategi pengembangan yang terdiri atas: analisis lingkungan, SWOT dan QSPM. Tiga prioritas strategi yang direkomendasikan untuk pengembangan budidaya rumput laut yakni: Mengefektifkan peran DKP dan lembaga terkait dalam pembinaan dan pengembangan SDM; peningkatan sumber permodalan usaha; dan  pengadaan pola kerjasama kemi­traan pasar. Kata kunci: strategi pengembangan, rumput laut, produksi, SWOT, QSPM, analisis lingkungan.   The development of seaweed cultivation in the Nain Island requires appropriate strategies to re-enhance its production. The objectives of this study is to determine strategies in developing the seaweed cultivation. Development strategy analysis was used as steps to determine strategy for the development of the seaweed cultivation. Analysis of the development strategy consists of: environmental analysis, SWOT analysis and QSPM. The three priority strategies for development of seaweed cultivation are as follows: Maximizing the role of DKP and related institutions in coaching and developing human resource; increasing the venture capital sources; dan procurement of market partnership patterns. Community-based tourism is one type of tourism that involves community participation to achieve the goal of sustainable tourism development. The purpose of this study is to determine the tourism potential to be managed by the community based on people's perceptions of the existing tourism potential, as well as identifying people's perceptions of national, regional, and also traditional policies in tourism. This research was divided into several data collection, internal-external factor analysis, data analysis and development strategy analysis using the SWOT matrix. The conclusions of this study are (1) Natural resources in Labuan Bajo which can be used as tourist attractions that have not been managed and developed properly. Those are Ara Mountain, Ina Mountain, Namong Island, Kelaki Island, Kima Island, Komodo, wild horses and buffalo, savannah, Rangka Cave, Gosong, Pasir Timbul, Mangrove and several underwater object such as Manta and coral reefs. (2) Based on a quantitative strategy, the development strategy that is suitable to be carried out in Labuan Bajo is the S-O Strategy which is carried out by utilizing the strength needed to achieve the opportunities that exist. (3) Based on a qualitative strategy, a suitable strategy to be carried out in Labuan Bajo is related to the improvement of public facilities, partnerships with universities, improvement of the people's economy, and the improvement of regional and group economies. The pepper auction market in Sleman Regency was formed in 2017. This market is becoming the main marketing line for all pepper traders in Sleman Regency because it is serving appropriate prices for the farmer. Some problems also appeared during the implementation of the pepper auction market. This study aimed to arrange an effective strategy in developing a pepper auction market in Sleman Regency. This study conducted from January to February 2020 involving 23 major traders who chosen by the census method and 6 stakeholders who chosen by purposive sampling technique. SWOT analysis was applied to arrange an effective strategy in developing the pepper auction market. The result showed that the most effective strategy used in developing the pepper auction market was the SO-Strategy, such as: improving product quantity and quality, improving the quality of services and creating good relationships with the assembly point management party and auction participants, and building an online product and price database system. The auction market management parties and some stakeholders are required to regularly monitor and assure the market system in conducting a market auction process appropriately. We also suggested to use modern technology devices to assure the auction transparency.
