The millennial generation is very smart in using the internet as social media and as a learning media. In using this internet they learn with a one-way learning tool, which makes most of the learning misguided from the techniques of reading and playing music. Things that need to be considered are small details such as reading piano beams or playing according to the correct scales and that only exists when learning with 2-way learning such as schools, but millennials don't like the existence of formal schools, which exist today but they want to learn with free where they can play freely and also be able to play together without a curriculum that makes them like being detained. In this case an informal school that can accommodate millennial musicians is now needed and also a place to gather and also learn together therefore an informal community is needed that can accommodate the desire and creativity for the activities of the millennials.Abstrak Generasi milennial sangat pintar dalam menggunakan internet sebagai media sosial maupun sebagai media belajar. Dalam penggunaan internet ini mereka belajar dengan sarana satu arah pembelajaran, hal tersebut membuat sebagian besar pembelajaran dapat salah kaprah dari teknik membaca maupun bermain musik. Hal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah detail kecil seperti membaca balok piano maupun bermain sesuai tangga nada yang benar dan hal tersebut hanya ada bila belajar dengan pembelajaran 2 arah seperti sekolah, namun millennial tidak menyukai dengan adanya sekolah formal, yang ada sekarang ini tetapi mereka ingin belajar dengan bebas dimana mereka dapat bermain bebas dan juga dapat bermain bersama tanpa adanya kurikulum yang membuat mereka seperti ditahan Dalam hal ini maka diperlukan sebuah sekolah informal yang dapat menampung para musisi millennial sekarang ini dan juga menjadi sebuah tempat untuk dapat berkumpul dan juga belajar bersama oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah komunitas informal yang dapat menampung keinginan dan kreatifitas untuk kegiatan para millennial.

 This article aims to explore the embeddedness bof the millennial generation to the internet in daily activities and educationat the local level. This research uses concurrent mixed methods with a survey and interview strategy simultaneously.The results showed the uniqueness of the Banten millennial generation’s engagement with the internet as follows: (i)informants learned to use the internet more by themselves; (ii) they use internet more for social media; (iii) they stilllike shopping and use conventional modes of transportation; (iv) most of them cannot carry out their daily activitieswithout the internet; (v) daily activities are undertaken without an agenda but have a specific target. Furthermore, inthe interaction between technology and education, it is found: (i) technology is related to information seeking for themillennial generation; (ii) they prefer to find information through browsing; (iii) only a small proportion of them haveexperimental learning attitudes; (iv) the majority of the millennial generation views that the existence of teachers is stillthe main factor in learning.

The development of science and technology encourages most people to follow the changes that occur in the world including the use of the internet as a daily necessity. The internet has become inherent in human life, especially in the millennial generation today because it makes it easier to communicate and exchange information, including in Indonesia. However, the impact caused in the use of social media is not always realized by the user so that it can lead to something that is not desired. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the impact of the use of social media affects the civic disposition of users, especially the millennial generation. The research approach used is a qualitative research approach with descriptive research methods. The researcher collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that social media can support the strengthening of national integration because of some of its functions. The culture of mutual cooperation and the love of the country can grow and develop in the community, especially social media users. Then the researcher gave recommendations based on the findings of the research, namely the need for an anticipatory and selective attitude for all parties, especially social media users and other interested parties. Keywords: social media, millenial generation, civic disposition Abstrak Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mendorong sebagian besar manusia mengikuti perubahan yang terjadi di dunia termasuk penggunaan internet sebagai kebutuhan pokok sehari-hari. Internet telah melekat dalam kehidupan manusia terutama pada generasi millennial dewasa ini karena memudahkan berkomunikasi dan bertukar informasi termasuk di Indonesia. Akan tetapi, dampak yang ditimbulkan dalam penggunaan media sosial tidak selalu disadari oleh pengguna sehingga dapat mengarah pada sesuatu yang tidak dikehendaki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh terhadap civic disposition pengguna terutama generasi milenial. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kualtitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial dapat mendukung penguatan integrasi nasional karena beberapa fungsi yang dimilikinya. Budaya gotong-royong dan rasa cinta tanah air dapat tumbuh dan berkembang pada masyarakat terutama pengguna media sosial. Kemudian peneliti memberikan rekomendasi berdasar pada hasil temuan penelitian, yaitu perlunya sikap antisipatif dan selektif bagi semua pihak terutama pengguna media sosial dan pihak lain yang berkepentingan. Instagram has become a new lifestyle in recent years. Instagram has created a society without borders because its users and followers are not limited to places. Instagram users post creative photos and videos on their accounts not only for advertising but also network orientation. Millennial generation tends to use the internet in all aspects of life. This paper aims to pay attention to: 1) How about the model and strategy of the Millennial Muslim network in aisnusantara; and 2) How they explain the importance of religious moderation in digital media. This qualitative research uses a netnographic approach based on data from the @aisnusantara Instagram account. With the ethno-semiotic method, this research reveals that: 1) Aisnusantara uses a networking management model from the national to regional levels, and has an annual meeting, namely the Kopdarnas which has an agenda to discuss various issues related to national and religious affairs for the millennial generation. 2) Aisnusantara campaigned for Islamic preaching inclusively through Instagram, for example against extremism on social media, by offering alternative narratives to counter extremism by campaigning for peaceful Islam based on religious moderation.

Online media currently has a target audience among millennials. This is because online media uses a number of platforms or portals like social media which are widely used by millennials, such as Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, and others. Online media upload a number of content and articles every day. This research is to determine the online.com media editorial strategy in attracting the interest of the millennial generation. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a case study approach and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the strategy of Okezone.com online media to attract the millennial generation's greatest interest is the use of social media and using a number of features that have been provided from social media. The use of social media is very interesting and gets a lot of attention from the millennial generation and is considered effective. The Okezone.com method is considered effective and appropriate in the use of social media as a forum or a way to attract this interest. In addition, one of the very interesting advantages of online media is the speed with which information circulates on the internet, so that readers or audiences can quickly find out what phenomena or information is currently viral or taking place and only use the help of an internet connection.Media online saat ini memiliki target pembaca di kalangan milenial. Hal ini karena media online menggunakan sejumlah wadah atau portal layaknya media sosial yang banyak digunakan oleh milenial, seperti Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, dan lain-lain. Media online menggunggah sejumlah konten dan artikel setiap harinya. Penelitian ini guna mengetahui strategi redaksi media online.com dalam menarik minat generasi milenial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi dari media online Okezone.com untuk menarik minat generasi milenial salah satu yang terbesarnya adalah dengan penggunaan media sosial dan menggunakan sejumlah fitur yang sudah disediakan dari media sosial tersebut. Pengguanaan media sosial sangat menarik dan mendapatkan banyak perhatian dari generasi milenial dan dianggap efektif. Cara Okezone.com dinilai efektif dan tepat dalam penggunaan media sosial sebagai wadah atau cara menarik minat tersebut. Selain itu, salah satu keunggulan yang sangat menarik pada media online adalah cepatnya informasi yang beredar di jejaring internet, sehingga para pembaca atau audience dengan cepat dapat mengetahui fenomena atau apa kejadian dan informasi yang sedang viral atau berlangsung dan hanya menggunakan bantuan dari koneksi internet.

Abstract: The growth of the e-commerce market in Indonesia is very high and is one of the largest in the world. As a country whose population is dominated by a mid-level economy, e-commerce is very positively welcomed by the Indonesian population, especially the millennial generation. The millennial generation is a generation of young people today who are currently in the age range of 15-34 years. This generation is the biggest consumer in utilizing the internet in many ways, such as social media and e-commerce. The method used in this service is a simulation using one e-commerce application, namely Shopee. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to utilize e-commerce, especially for millennials so that they can use it in positive terms. The result of this activity was the implementation of Community Service activities attended by 30 students at SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungbalai. Keywords: e-commerce; millennial generation  Abstrak: Pertumbuhan pasar e-commerce di Indonesia sangat tinggi dan merupakan salah satu yang terbesar di dunia. Sebagai negara yang penduduknya didominasi oleh ekonomi tingkat menengah, e-commerce sangat disambut positif bagi penduduk Indonesia, terutama generasi milenial. Generasi milenial merupakan generarasi muda masa kini yang saat ini berusia dalam rentang usia15-34 tahun. Generasi ini merupakan konsumen terbesar dalam memanfaatkan internet dalam banyak hal, seperti sosial media maupun e-commerce. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ialah simulasi menggunakan salah satu aplikasi e-commerce, yaitu Shopee. Tujuan dilakukannya kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memanfaatkan e-commerce terutama bagi generasi milenial sehingga dapat memanfaatkannya dalam hal positif. Hasil kegiatan ini ialah terlaksananya kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dihadiri siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungbalai sebanyak 30 orang. Kata kunci: e-commerce; generasi milenial

Discourse about millennial generation and religious campaigns has become a worldwide spotlight in various sectors of life. Their existence is the best commodity in human history. In addition, technological advances through the internet are very binding on them so that the millennial generation is a group that grows and is familiar also dependent on gadget technology that masters social media as their new religion. The Church as a Treaty for implementing theology. Warnings and solutions to solutions from Marva J. Dawn and related liturgical figures also support the role of orthodoxy, orthopraxis, and orthopathy from Worship Theology to hold its missiological responsibilities reversed with the help of contemporary worship. ===== Diskursus tentang generasi milenial dan persoalan keagamaan telah menjadi sorotan mendunia dalam berbagai sektor hidup.  Keberadaan angkatan mereka menjadi komoditi penting saat ini dan ke depannya.  Di samping itu, kemajuan teknologi lewat jaringan internet sangat mengikat mereka sehingga generasi milenial adalah sebuah kelompok yang tumbuh dan akrab serta tergantung dengan teknologi gadget yang menTuan-kan media sosial sebagai agama baru mereka.  Gereja sebagai konteks pelaksanaan Teologi Ibadah menghadapi kondisi ini.  Peringatan dan rekonstruksi solusi dari Marva J. Dawn dan tokoh-tokoh liturgis lainnya turut menunjukkan pentingnya peran ortodoksi, ortopraksis dan ortopati dari Teologi Ibadah untuk menunjukkan tanggung jawab misiologisnya yang bersifat upside-down melalui ibadah kekinian.

Abstract            The purpose of this research is to find out how to implement Sharia management on BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo Tulungagung in the challenge of the millennials era. This research uses qualitative research methods which describe real conditions in the field through the observation and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: 1) the implementation of planning in BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo Tulungagung can already be said either in the field of human resources or planning in the field of finance; 2) Implementation of organizing in BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo is already based on the ability of employees, employees are led to be able to control the Internet and social media in their work; 3) Implementation of employee briefing in BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo Tulungagung is done by providing motivation to always work well to achieve the objectives of the company; 4) Implementation of supervision aims to minimize the misappropriation and lack of good organizational processes that take place; 5) Implementation of evaluation is conducted every one month which is done by manager to all employees, as well as an annual evaluation conducted by BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo Tulungagung by inviting all investors. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dimana menggambarkan kondisi riil di lapangan melalui obeservasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan perencanaan pada BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo Tulungagung sudah dapat dikatakan baik di bidang SDM atau perencanaan di bidang keuangan; 2) Pelaksanaan pengorganisasian pada BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo Tulungagung sudah didasarkan pada kemampuan karyawan, karyawan dituntun untuk bisa mengendalikan internet dan sosial media dalam pekerjaannya; 3) Pelaksanaan pengarahan karyawan pada BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo Tulungagung dilakukan dengan cara memberikan motivasi agar selalu bekerja dengan baik untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan; 4) Pelaksanaan pengawasan bertujuan untuk meminimalisir adanya penyelewengan dan kurang baiknya proses organisasi yang berlangsung; 5) Pelaksanaan evaluasi dilakukan setiap satu bulan yang dilakukan oleh manager kepada seluruh karyawan, serta evaluasi tahunan yang dilakukan oleh BMT Istiqomah Karangrejo Tulungagung dengan mengundang seluruh penanam saham. Millennial generation itself is often defined not by date of birth but also based on their behavioral and psychographic tendencies. This unique generation is a generation born in the internet age. Cyber stalking activities to ex-girlfriends or wives are often done, this is the reason why this cyber stalking activity exists and continues to grow, along with the many activities in social media, and the amount of social media used. It is a fairly large number, it seems that also experienced by the millennial generation, the activities carried out on the internet usual to obtain information. Methods in this study using qualitative method with sequential exploratory strategy. While theory used in the research is the theory of communication, theory of global village, theory negotiation advance, the theory of national resilience and social media theory. Cyber stalking has increased along with the easy access to the internet and mobile phone users owned smartphones. Cyber stalking activity is also done to co-workers, friends, boyfriend and ex-boyfriend. This means that cyber stalking activity will be a reasonable activity, self activity (private) even now is not uncommon to be public consumption. So that cyber stalking activity becomes something commonly done by millennial generation.

Pada zaman modern ini, teknologi semakin berkembang pesat. Gadget dan internet pun seakan sudah menjadi kekasih bagi generasi millennial. Generasi millennial  saat ini (pada tahun 2017) adalah mereka yang berusia 17-36 tahun; mereka yang kini berperan sebagai mahasiswa, early jobber, dan orangtua muda. Akses media sosial yang mudah menyebabkan mudahnya pula peredaran berita bohong (hoax) di masyarakat. Hoax beragam bentuknya; mulai dari hoax dalam aspek pendidikan, kesehatan hingga politik. Ujaran kebencian yang tersebar di dunia nyata maupun dunia maya mengiringi perkembangan hoax yang berakibat pada pecahnya persatuan masyarakat yang telah dibangun dengan asas gotongroyong. Untuk itu, pengkajian ulang serta penerapan berpikir kritis ala filsafat yang didasarkan pada hadis menjadi salah satu tawaran yang solutif bagi generasi millennial sebagai benteng pertahanan dari godaan-godaan efek dari globalisasi, khususnya dalam mengatasi virus hoax yang telah merajalela. Dengan pengkajian itu, diharapkan generasi millennial dapat mewujudkan perdamaian di dunia ini; khususnya di Indonesia.AbstractIn this modern age, technology is growing rapidly. Gadgets and the internet seemed to have become lovers for the millennial generation. The current millennial generation (in 2017) are those aged 17-36; those who now act as students, early jobber, and young parents. The easy access of social media causes the easy circulation of false news (hoaxes) in the community. Hoax varies in shape; ranging from hoaxes in aspects of education, health to politics. Hate speech that spread in the real world and cyberspace accompanied the development of hoax which resulted in the outbreak of community unity that has been built with the principle of gotongroyong. For that reason, the review and application of philosophical-based philosophical critical thinking is one of the most solemn proposals for the millennial generation as a bastion of the temptations of the effects of globalization, particularly in the prevention of rampant hoaxes. With that assessment, millennials are expected to bring about peace in this world; especially in Indonesia.

In 2017 the majority of internet users are 19-34 years old or 49.52% (APJI, 2017). Almost half of the internet users in Indonesia are digital natives who were born after 1980: Generation Y (1980-1995) and Generation Z (1996-2009). This research will be focused on Generation Z as the true generation of the internet. Generation Z was born when the internet is available, a contrast to Generation Y who is still experiencing the transition of the internet. The purpose of this research is to find an effective way of providing information about media literacy to Generation Z. Through descriptive qualitative, the study was conducted with in-depth interview and observation toward 12 university students in Jakarta. The results showed that there are four effective ways of providing information about media literacy which is i) videos distributed to social media such as Youtube and Instagram, ii) interesting memes in communicative style, iii) through selebgram or micro-celebrity in Instagram who is consider as a role model and have a positive image, and iv) roadside billboards. Another interesting finding is that male informants tend to like media literacy information through videos and memes, while female informants prefer campaigns conducted by positive image selebgram and billboard. AbstrakPada tahun 2017 pengguna internet di Indonesia mayoritas berusia 19-34 tahun yaitu sebanyak 49,52% (APJI, 2017). Dari data tersebut terlihat bahwa hampir sebagian pengguna internet di Indonesia adalah digital natives atau penutur asli teknologi digital yaitu orang-orang yang lahir setelah tahun 1980: Generasi Y (1980-1995) dan Generasi Z (1996-2009). Penelitian ini akan difokuskan kepada Generasi Z karena mereka dianggap sebagai sebenar-benarnya generasi internet. Generasi Z lahir saat teknologi tersebut sudah tersedia, berbeda dengan Generasi Y yang masih mengalami transisi teknologi hingga menuju internet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mencari tahu cara yang efektif dalam memberikan informasi mengenai media literasi kepada generasi Z. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Informan berjumlah 12 orang mahasiswa di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada empat cara yang efektif dalam memberikan informasi mengenai media literasi yaitu i) video yang disebarkan ke media sosial seperti Youtube dan Instagram, ii) meme menarik dengan bahasa yang mudah dimengerti, iii) melalui selebgram yang menjadi panutan dan berimage positif, dan iv) papan iklan di pinggir jalan. Temuan menarik lainnya adalah informan laki-laki cenderung menyukai informasi media literasi melalui video dan meme yang disebarkan ke media sosial, sementara perempuan lebih menyukai kampanye yang dilakukan oleh selebgram berimage positif dan papan iklan.
