This study aims to describe the forms of shifting conventional context elements to a virtual external context in the cyberpragmatics perspective. The data of this study were manifestations of the shifts in the contexts. The substantive data source of this study was various kinds of utterances and the formulation of the context containing realizations of the shifts in the conventional external context. The locative data source was social media that published a variety of utterances and the context in which there was a shift in the context elements that could be collected by the researcher around the time of the study. The data collection method applied was the listening method, focusing on the free engaged and profound method of listening. The technique used in applying the listening method was the note-taking technique. The data were then classified and verified further. The verified data were then triangulated to experts of pragmatics, especially cyberpragmatics. Data analysis was carried out by applying distributional method to cover the linguistic dimension of this study. As for the non-linguistic dimension, the researcher applied the extralingual equivalent method. The results of this study were the manifestations of the context shifts as follow: (1) shifting aspects of context element of speech setting, (2) shifting aspects of context element of objectives of speaking, (3) shifting aspects of context element of speech participants, (4) shifting aspects of context element of speech atmosphere, (5) shifting aspects of context element of speech channel, (6) shifting aspects of context element of speech genre and (7) shifting aspects of context element of verbal acts.

Hoaks adalah berita palsu yang menggunakan bahasa sebagai medianya, tetapi bukan bahasa dalam fungsi sesungguhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perlokusi hoaks Covid-19 di media sosial. Perspektif yang digunakan adalah Cyberpragmatics. Pendekatan yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Objek sasaran penelitian ini adalah manifestasi perlokusi hoaks Covid-19. Data penelitian berupa cuplikan-cuplikan tuturan yang di dalamnya terdapat manifestasi-manifestasi perlokusi hoaks Covid-19. Sumber data substantif penelitian ini teks-teks tertulis yang terdapat di media sosial. Adapun sumber data lokasionalnya adalah media-media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, Blog, Webs, yang hadir di sekitar waktu penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode simak. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik rekam dan teknik catat. Sebelum dilakukan analisis data, validitas data dipastikan terlebih dahulu dengan triangulasi data. Metode analisis yang diterapkan adalah metode analisis ekstralingual. Adapun teknik yang diterapkan adalah teknik hubung banding khususnya teknik hubung banding menyamakan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan perlokusi hoaks Covid-19 berikut ini: (1) mengentalkan rasa sentimen; (2) menumbuhkan perspepsi keliru; (3) menyindir otoritas; (4) menumbuhkan kegaduhan; (5) menebar ketakutan; (7) menumbuhkan kekhawatiran; dan (8) menumbuhkan kasak-kusuk.Kata Kunci: Cyberpragmatics, konteks eksternal virtual, dampak perlokusiAbstract Hoax is fake news that uses language as the medium, but not language in its true function. The main objective of this study is to describe the perlocutionary impact of Covid-19 hoaxes. The research perspective used was cyberpragmatics. The approach applied was descriptive qualitative. The object of this research was the manifestation of Covid-19 perlocutionary hoaxes. The research data were snippets of speech in which there were manifestations of Covid-19 hoaxes. The substantive data source of this research was written texts contained in the social media. The locational data sources were social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Blogs, Webs, which were present around the time of research. Data were collected by applying the listening method. The technique used was the recording technique and note taking technique. Before data analysis was performed, the validity of the data was confirmed in advance by applying data triangulation. The data analysis method applied was the extra-lingual analysis method or the extra-lingual equivalent analysis method. The technique applied was the appeal link technique, especially the equalization link technique. This study produced the following findings of the impacts of Covid-19 perlocutionary hoaxes, namely (1) making thickened sentiment; (2) fostering wrong perceptions; (3) insinuating authority; (4) creating noise; (5) spreading fear; (6) fostering concern; (7) growing gossips.Keywords: Cyberpragmatics, virtual external context, perlocutionary impacts

Konjungsi merupakan kelas kata yang ada pada setiap bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perilaku sintaksis konjungsi koordinatif bahasa Jepang. Perilaku sintaksis tersebut meliputi fungsi konjungsi, letak struktural konjungsi, dan sifat kehadiran konjungsi. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu Biografi Hellen Keller, Esai Read Real Japanese, dan kumpulan Cerpen DonDon Yomeru IriIro Na Hanashi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti menggunakan metode padan translasional untuk pemindahan arti dari bahasa Jepang ke bahasa Indonesia. Untuk menganalisis  fungsi konjungsi, letak struktural konjungsi, dan sifat kehadiran konjungsi peneliti menggunakan metode distribusional beserta tekniknnya. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa fungsi konjungsi koordinatif bahasa Jepang yaitu menghubungkan kata dengan kata yaitu konjungsi to dan konjungsi ya, dan menghubungkan klausa dengan kluasa yaitu konjungsi ga dan konjungsi -shi. Letak struktural konjungsi koordinatif bahasa Jepang  yaitu berada di antara unsur yang digabungkan. Sementara itu, sifat kehadiran konjungsi di dalam konstruksi adalah wajib dan tidak dapat dilesapkan.  Conjunction is a class of words that exist in every language. This study aims to describe the syntactic behavior of Japanese coordinating conjunctions. The syntactic behavior includes the function of the conjunction, the structural location of the conjunction, and the presence of the conjunction. The data sources of this research are Hellen Keller Biography, Real Japanese Read Essays, and a collection of Dondon Yomeru Hanashi short stories. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. In analyzing the data the researcher applies the translational equivalent method for the transfer of meaning from Japanese to Indonesian. To analyze the function of the conjunction, the structural location of the conjunction, and the nature of the presence of the conjunction, the researcher uses the distributional method and its technique. The results of data analysis show that the coordinating conjunctions of Japanese are linking words to words, namely conjunctions to and conjunctions ya and linking clauses with clauses, which is conjunctions ga and conjunctions -shi. The structural position of Japanese coordinating conjunctions is among the elements combined. Meanwhile, the presence of conjunctions in construction is mandatory and cannot be mitigated.

The case of increasing the corona-virus cluster circulating on social media has reaped various responses from netizens. The research objectives: (1) Determine the form of speech acts in netizens’ responses towards the Covid-19 pandemic text (2) Describe the content in netizens’ responses towards the Covid-19 pandemic text. The research data are in the form of sentences (speech acts) and sentences containing the substance or content of the netizens’ responses. Data sources are as many as 180 netizens’ responses on Instagram and Facebook. The data are collected by reading and taking notes of techniques. The method of data analysis is using a distribution method which is dividing the elements directly and the equivalent method with pragmatic techniques. The results: First, speech acts in netizens’ responses as locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, and perlocutionary acts. This study aims at (1) identifying the lingual form of disfemism in Joko Widodo's Facebook account; (2) describing the addressing form containing sarcasm in Joko Widodo's official Facebook account; and (3) identifying the sarcasm expression used by the operator and the uploader of the account. The object of this study is polite expressions. Linguistic unit of the expressions can be in the form of word, phrase, clause, and sentence. The data of this present study are sentence or sentences in Jokowi's official Facebook account that contains positive connotation words. The data contexts of this research are discourse containing positive connotation sentences, the topic of discourse written by people in Jokowi's account, the identity of the participant, and the context of extra-lingual that is based on the importance of the operator of the president's social media account. The data collection was conducted through documentation technique. The data in Jokowi's official account were copy-pasted. Then, the data were being read intensively to note the positive connotation utterance. The data analysis was conducted through referential (identity) method, pragmatic (identity) method, translational (identity) method, and articulatory phonetic (identity) method. The referential (identity) method was used to identify the topics that were stated by the uploader of the account. The pragmatic (identity) method was used to identify the background of (profession, organization etc) that appeared in their writings. The translational (identity) method was used in describing the origination of the language they use. It is possible that through the use of this method, this study finds the register on that account. Finally, the phonetic (identity) method was used to identify the utterance characteristic they stated. The positive or negative emotion of the speaker, usually, marked by the special pronunciation. To establish the data analysis, this study uses distributional method: substitution technique and paraphrase technique. Based on the data analysis, this study shows several results. First, the euphemism utterance in Jokowi's official Facebook account using any levels, i.e. word, phrase, clause, and sentence. Through those levels, the writer presents suggestions and critics to the owner of the account Joko Widodo. Second, the functions that are stated through that account are expression device, communication relationship to the leader, integration device, and self-control device. Third, the topics stated by the people in that account are about the depiction of Joko Widodo that in their opinion, Joko Widodo shows pretending, the existence of Megawati in the election of Joko Widodo as a president, the increasing of IDR currency and other things at the beginning of his leadership. The expression shows hatred towards the elected president. Furthermore, they also express about Jokowi's unability to establish the IDR currency and his leadership is judged as not good. In addition, to the people, especially netizen are invited to disbelieve to his leadership.

Abstrak Studi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan wujud kesantunan berkomunikasi dalam media sosial WhatsApp antara mahasiswa dan dosen. Studi ini adalah kualitatif. Data dalam studi ini adalah kalimat-kalimat santun dalam wacana akademik di media sosial. Sumber data dalam studi ini adalah tuturan wacana akademik di media sosial. Pengumpulan data dalam studi ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi, simak, dan dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat. Analisis data dalam studi ini dilakukan dengan metode padan intralingual; padan pragmatis dan diperkuat dengan teknik analisis kesantunan Brown dan Levinson berperspektif humanis. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan tindak kesantunan positif meliputi: (1) mengucapkan terima kasih sebagai penghormatan kepada mitra tutur, 48%; (2) memberikan pertanyaan sebagai wujud perhatian kepada mitra tutur, 8%; (3) memberikan informasi kepada mitra tutur sebagai wujud kepedulian, 18%; (4) menunjukkan keoptimisan kepada mitra tutur supaya termotivasi, 4%; (5) memberikan hadiah kepada mitra tutur dengan memberikan dukungan, 4%; (6) mengucapkan salam kepada mitra tutur sebagai upaya mendoakan kebaikan kepada mitra tutur, 8%; dan (7) menggunakan penanda identitas sebagai wujud menjalin solidaritas antara penutur dan mitra tutur, 10%. Hal ini menunjukkan mahasiswa memiliki sikap penghormatan yang tinggi kepada dosen dengan menunjukkan komunikasi bernada positif. Tindak kesantunan mengucapkan terima kasih, memberikan informasi yang dibutuhkan mitra tutur, menunjukkan sikap percaya diri, mengucapkan salam merupakan wujud komunikasi yang berperspektif humanis, yakni menjunjung nilai-nilai kemanusian. Penelitian ini bermanfaat dalam membangun komunikasi pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada kesantunan berbahasa yang memartabatkan nilai-nilai humanitas dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci: kesantunan positif, akademik, media sosial, humanis Abstract This study aims to describe the form of politeness in communicating on WhatsApp social media between students and lecturers. This study is qualitative. The data in this study are polite sentences in academic discourse on social media. The data source in this study is the speech of academic discourse on social media. Data collection in this study uses the documentation method, refer to it, and proceed with note taking technique. Data analysis in this study was carried out using the intralingual equivalent method; pragmatic equivalent and strengthened by Brown and Levinson’s politeness analysis techniques with a sweet perspective. The results of this study show positive politeness actions include: (1) Thank you for the speech partner observer 48%; (2) giving questions as a form of attention to the speech partners 8%; (3) providing information to the speech partners as a form of concern 18%; (4) showing optimism for the speech partners to be motivated 4%; (5) giving gifts to speech partners by giving support 4%; (6) greeting the speech partners in an effort to pray for the kindness of the speech partners 8%; and (7) using identity markers as a form of establishing solidarity between the speaker and the speech partner 10%.. The purpose of this study is to analyze the method in the debate of “school literacy culture” conducted by postgraduate students of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in language skills learning. The data of this study are words and sentences in the orthographic transcriptional results of the “school literacy culture” debate. The data source is the result of a debate from a graduate student at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta under the title “culture of school literacy”. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection used the record method and continued with the note taking technique. Data analysis used the referential equivalent method and was strengthened by the intralingual method. The results of this study are the method of analysis in the discussion begins with an interesting opening, then the statement delivered by the debate participants in accordance with the debate theme, the debate participants' thinking lines are clear and coherent, the priority scale has been fulfilled, the time allocation is appropriate, and the closing submission has been cover the whole idea. The conclusion from this research is that the debate has been going well but there are still parties who dominate

This research was aimed to analyze the language change in Indonesian language. The analysis was focused on the Indonesian adjectives change found in social media (Instagram). This research was conducted by using qualitative method. The data of this study were the most common thirty adjectives found in social media especially Instagram. as the data source because most of young generations nowadays tend to use Instagram as a mean of communication. The researcher observed and chose the most common thirty adjectives found on Instagram by using an observation list. There were some techniques of data analysis performed, namely: determining, observing, choosing, translating, analyzing, and drawing conclusion. Based on the data analysis conducted, it was found that all the adjectives are changing into special terms which are totally different form the original words. Furthermore, language change is caused by the globalization and the interaction of people. It was also found that some of the words are changing into English. Abbreviation and contractions also occur in the process of language change.

This research was aimed to analyze the pragmatic on Social Media. The analysis was focused on the application of cooperative principles. This research was conducted by using qualitative method. The data of this study were the Netizen comments on the influencer account. The account of the influencer was Anyageraldine. The data source is taken from instagram where nowdays many people use instagram for doing communication and interaction. The writers observed and choosed the data. There were some techniques of data analysis performed, namely: determining, observing, choosing, analyzing, and drawing conclusion. Based on the data analysis conducted, it was found that the cooperative principle at 2012 – 2016 are Maxim of Quantity is 4, Maxim of Quality is 2, Maxim of Relevance is 2, and Maxim of Manner is 7. And the writers also found the Cooperative Principles at 2017 – 2020 are Maxim of Quantity is 1, Maxim of Quality is 5, Maxim of Relevance is 7 and Maxim of Manner is 2. This is influenced by the influencer’s (Anya Geraldine) behaviour as we know that our behaviour make the people statements or comments, it means our behaviour also decided what the Cooperative Principles that the people will use.

Creative and suggest speech partners. This study aimed to identify the persuasion action strategies in da'wah discourse on social media of Instagram. The approach of this study was descriptive qualitative. The data of this study was persuasion utterances in da'wah discourse on social media. The data collection employed documentation, transcription, and listening method and was followed by note-taking techniques. The data analysis of this study used the distributional method and markup reading technique. The results of this study showed that there are eleven persuasion strategies used by Ustadz Hanan Attaki in da'wah through social media of Instagram. The eleven strategies include (1) the use of Al-Qur'an, (2) directly persuasion (3) indirectly persuasion, (4) persuasion using repetition, (5) the use of stories, (6) the use of the figure of speech, (7) the use of hope, (8) ) the use of analogy, (9) the use of Al-Hadith, (10) the use of expressiveness, and (11) the use of cause and effect. In the era of global communication, the realization of da'wah on social media can utilize persuasive language to influence speech partners so that the purpose of da'wah can be successful

This study aims to explain the mixed code of language and the effectiveness of da'wah on social media. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative by describing the mix of language codes used by Ustaz Hanan Attaki and the effectiveness of da'wah on social media. The data source in this study is a transcript of Ustaz Hanan Attaki's lecture. Data collection is obtained by listening to video shows, recording data in the form of transcripts, classification by type, and data analysis. The results of the study show that (1) Ustaz Hanan Attaki classifies mixed language codes into two, namely inter-internal and external code mixing, and (2) Ustaz Hanan Attaki's preaching on social media is very effective from a sociolinguistic perspective.
