The subject of this article is the examination of the root problems of the adverse impact of socioeconomic risk factors upon the psychological component of school adaptation of first-graders. The goal lies in establishment of correlation between the characteristics of psychological component of school adaptation of elementary school students and various socioeconomic risk factors in their early development. The research involves 284 first-graders 7-8 years of age (126 girls and 158 boys). Research methodology relies on the following materials: “House – Tree – Man” by J. Buck, “Little Houses” by A. O. Orekhova, “Faces” by N. V. Lukyanchenko, T. L. Yadryshnikov, “Ladder” by V. G. Shchur, social passport of a family. The correlation analysis reveals that the indicators of the psychological component of school adaptation, such as the level of self-esteem, emotional adaptation, depressive states, emotional background, and sense of security, are most affected by the socioeconomic risk factors of early development. The author also establishes the dependence of the characteristics of psychological component of school adaptation of first-graders on the educational background of their parents and family atmosphere. Socioeconomic risk factors in child’s life prior to school are rather related to emotional state of a child, determining the emotional well-being and success in school adaptation. Timely identification of these factors allows preventing the difficulties that may arise during the school period.

The article is devoted to the study of the development of educational processes of a student through an individual educational trajectory in remote learning conditions. On the basis of an individual educational trajectory, the teacher can present the level of readiness of children to perceive specific educational material in remote learning conditions; foresee difficulties in assimilating new material and performing differentiated tasks in remote learning conditions; analyze the effectiveness of individual and differentiated learning, and students will be able to analyze and evaluate the ways and results of their own independent work in remote learning conditions. The work presents one of the promising problems of modern pedagogy: what are the pedagogical conditions for implementing the individual educational trajectory of a student as a means of developing his skills in coherent speech. One of the tasks of research in this area will be the task of developing, theoretically substantiating and testing in experimental work pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the individual educational trajectory of the student in remote learning as a means of developing coherent speech. The aim of the article is to analytically present empirical data on the readiness of Ukrainian boarding school graduates for social self-realization in the current socio-economic context. The topicality of this research is determined by the need for scientific and sociological support of further transformations of the boarding school network which is one of the main reforms for the national system of general secondary education. This scientific and sociological support should be based on the study of the educational and social potential of boarding schools, aimed at a thorough analysis of the main indicators of readiness of boarding school graduates for social self-realization in present-day conditions. The results of an empirical study conducted on the basis of 14 boarding schools in Ukraine show that a higher level of readiness for social self-realization is demonstrated by senior students whose basic value system corresponds to the type of postmodern personality, i.e. a person whose life activity is structured according to spiritual, post-material values (development of one's talents, self-realization; interesting and creative work; obtaining higher education; helping other people; living according to religious precepts). The study reveals that these senior students ("postmoderners") go far beyond other boarding school students in their aspiration to accumulate future social capital (gaining respect among people, showing gratitude to others for their help, developing relationships with trusted friends), achieve a higher level of education in their lives, demonstrate a much higher readiness for independent life after leaving their boarding school, have higher trust in their own family, teachers, classmates of their own and the opposite sexes, and have a much higher academic performance at the final stage of gaining general education in a boarding school. Senior students of the postmodern type are less prone to problematic, risky behavioral scenarios in boarding schools (early onset of sexual activity and bullying behavior). The conclusions of the study relate to the possibilities of optimizing the implementation of boarding schools' educational and socialization mission in terms of preparing students, most of whom experience unfavorable social circumstances, for social self-realization in the present-day society. The work provides some conceptual guidelines and practical recommendations for education managers and teachers in terms of aiming educational process in boarding schools at promoting the development of postmodern personality type among their students.

The article presents results of theoretical and empirical study concerning peculiarities of professional self-determination of high school students. It is shown that state of health is a factor, which determines conditions of personal socialization and peculiarities of its professional self-determination. Investigation of peculiarities of professional self-determination of visually-challenged high school students and students, who do not have any medical conditions, was carried out at special needs (correctional) comprehensive boarding school of Type III-IV (city of Saratov) and comprehensive secondary school located in Ivanteevka village (Saratov region) (n=50). We applied the following set of methods: «Differential-diagnostic questionnaire» by е. а. Klimova, «Orientation» questionnaire by V. е. Sigachyov and м. N. Rossokhach, questionnaire «Future Social Status». Comparative analysis showed that visually-challenged high school students underestimate their abilities; they are oriented towards a relatively narrow range of professions. Needs for self-realization and development of one’s abilities dominate in the structure of needs linked to future profession. Students without any medical conditions have a tendency to overestimate their abilities; the leading motive of their professional choice is the desire to achieve material wealth. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be realized in organization of psychological and pedagogical assistance to high school students aimed at the development of adequate visions concerning their personal abilities and their correlation with specific professions.

The article presents the results of an empirical study aimed at determining the most effective play therapy technique for the psychological correction of a high level of anxiety, as a leading element of the structure of the psychological safety of the personality of primary schoolchildren during the period of their adaptation to school education. Recently, the problem of psychologi-cal safety of the personality of students has been in the area of increased attention. There is more and more scientific research aimed at studying various aspects of this phenomenon. One of these aspects is to ensure the psychological safety of the individual in different periods of training. The most psychologically difficult period is the period of adaptation of the child to the educational process. The presented article is devoted to the study of this aspect. Four hundred first-graders with a high level of anxiety, which was determined during the control diagnostics, took part in the work. The work used empirical methods and methods of mathematical statistics. At the formative stage of the work, all first-graders were divided into four groups: con-trol and three experimental. In each of the experimental groups with children, psychological correction of one of the play therapy techniques was carried out: non-directive, directive, and integrative, respectively. Upon completion of the formative stage of the study, a control diagno-sis of the level of anxiety in first-graders in the control and all experimental groups was carried out. The results of studying the dynamics of the level of anxiety as a leading element of the struc-ture of the psychological safety of a person after psychological correction made it possible to identify the most effective techniques of the method of play therapy. The data obtained allow us to speak about the presence of statistically significant differences in the experimental group, where play therapy of the integrative type was used. The results of the level of anxiety in first-graders in the experimental group, where psychological correction was carried out by the method of non-directive play therapy, demonstrate less significant differences. The level of anxi-ety in first-graders in the experimental group, where the method of directive play therapy was used, did not statistically significantly differ from the data of students in the control group, where psychological correction was not carried out.

The daily schedule of activities was a means of implementing the practice for the students under the supervision of the lodge managers. All activities have different areas of management to assist and supervise studentsCharacter education is not just about the young budding education process that is tapping into the formation of the school, it is also about the individual within the educational institution. Basically, in order to be a responsible individual in society, each individual must develop a wide range of potentials within himself, especially promoting morals that will serve as a guide for their role models within the institution.
