<p>This research is attempted to: (1) describe the steps of the development of local-wisdom-based integrated teaching media; (2) describe the quality of the local-wisdom-based teaching media; (3) describe the implementation of local-wisdom-based teaching media; and (4) describe the impacts of the implementation of local-wisdom-based teaching media. The method of the research is Dick and Carey’s model of Research and Development, which frames the development of teaching instruments. The objects of the research are the developed teaching instruments, and the subjects are 10 students of Balerejo II and 30 students of Balerejo IV. The data are analyzed descriptively by using observation record for the teaching events, and appraisal technique for the teaching instruments. The results of the analysis show that: (1) the teaching instruments can be well-developed being measured by the Dick and Carey’s model, which are scored as: 4.22 for Lesson Plan, 4.5 for Media, 4.14 for Teacher’s Guide, 4.26 for Book, and 3.96 Student Work Sheets; (2) the quality of the local-wisdom media is good; (3) the implementation of the model is good, by 89.75% of the application of lesson plan in the fisrt meeting and 91.01% in the second meeting. Students’ response is good, by 40.6 (agree) and 41.2 (very much agree). Teacher’s activities are good in response to the suggested activities of the lesson plan. Students’ activities are good with 99.41% of the activities are relevant to lesson plan, and the average achievement raise significantly. (4) Supporting factors cope with students’ experience in learning amusingly without disturbing contact to their mates. Some disadvantagous factors can be resolved by teacher’s improvisations.</p><p> </p><p>Key words:   Teaching Media Development, Integrated Teaching and Learning<em></em></p>

<p>The objectives of this research are to produce an inquiry model as a way to increase the history material comprehension and history consciousness of students in teaching and learning history. To achieve the objectives, the research was done by using the approach of research and development. In general, this research consists or three levels: (1) doing a pre-survey which identified the current condition of teaching and learning history, (2) developing a model based on the findings of pre-survey, (3) validating the model. Developing the model was done by limited experiments and unlimited experiments. The result of this research showed that that the inquiry model is effective to increase the material comprehension and history consciousness of students, it is relevant to be used in teaching and learning history, and effective to improve the performance of history teachers. Therefore, it can be concluded that the inquiry model is effective to be used to improve the quality of the process and products of teaching and learning history in junior high schools, especially in Banjarmasin City.</p> <p>Key Words: a model of teaching, inquiry, history consciousness</p><br /><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa model inkuiri dalam rangka meningkatkan pemahaman materi dan kesadaran sejarah dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan. Secara garis besar tahapan penelitian ini meliputi (1) prasurvai untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi pembelajaran sejarah yang sedang berjalan, (2) pengembangan model berdasarkan hasil prasurvai, dan  (3) validasi model. Pengembangan model dilaksanakan dengan uji coba terbatas dan uji coba luas. Temuan penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa model inkuiri efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi dan kesadaran sejarah siswa, relevan digunakan dalam pembelajaran sejarah, efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model inkuiri efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan produk pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah menengah pertama khususnya di kota Banjarmasin.</p> <p>Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, inkuiri, kesadaran sejarah</p> <p> </p>

The aims of this study are (1) to develop 4N concept from Ki Hajar Dewantara into 4N model of learning for science, (2) to investigate the quality of developed products, (3) to investigate the effect of 4N learning model for scinece learning to Tri Nga competencies, and (4) to investigate the implementation of the model.The study used 9 steps of research and development (R&D) model of Borg & Gall without taking the dissemination process.The results of the study are as follows. (1) The 4N concept was developed to become 4N model for science learning. (2) The Products are appropriate to use for teaching and learning process. (3) The 4N learning model can achieve a functional science learning: (a) the model can increase Tri Nga competencies. (b) Science learning using the 4N model achieves the KKM target, and (c) the 4N model gets good response from the students. (4) The 4N model is in well done category. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan karena proses pembelajaran di laboratorium Biologi IAIN STS Jambi yang masih minim sarana prasarana yang ada di laboratorium, sehingga menghambat proses pembelajaran khususnya untuk mata kuliah Morfologi Tumbuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar praktikum dan mengetahui praktikalitasnya. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan 4-D Models yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate. Karena adanya keterbatasan waktu dan biaya maka tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa buku ajar praktikum yang divalidasi oleh validator. Produk yang telah divalidasi dan dinyatakan valid oleh validator, kemudian diujicobakan pada proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk melihat nilai praktis buku ajar praktikum di laboratorium Biologi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah data deskriptif untuk memvalidasi perangkat pembelajaran oleh pakar pendidikan. Selain itu juga diteliti data praktikalitas penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran ini yang diperoleh dari observasi dosen dan respon siswa. Nilai validitas produk 83,31% yang dikategorikan valid. Sementara nilai kepraktisan berdasarkan data observasi keterlaksanaan SAP, angket respon dosen dan siswa dikategorikan sangat baik atau sangat praktis. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran di Laboratorium Biologi yang dikembangkan adalah valid dan sangat praktis digunakan baik dosen maupun siswa. Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, buku ajar praktikum, laboratorium biologi Abstract [The development of a course book for plant morphology at biology laboratory] This research was triggered by the limited facilities of the biology laboratory at the State Institute of Islamic Studies Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi which became a constrain in the teaching and learning process of Plant Morphology classroom sessions. The objective of this research was to develop a course book as well as to reveal its practicality. The researcher did a research and development using 4-D Models consisting of four stages namely; define, design, develop, and disseminate. Considering the limitation of time and finance, the disseminate stage was not executed. The test revealed the validity score of the product was 83,31% which categorized as good. For its practicality, the product was considered as very good based on observation of lesson plan execution and lecturers’ and students’ response. In summary, the course book developed for the course at Biology Laboratory was categorized as valid and practical to be used by both students and lecturers. The purpose of this research is to examine the educational technology developer team as an important program in schooling, especially by analyzing its compatibility with the school system and conditions. By using mixed method and research and development model this research adressing the elementary and secondary school in Semarang and other district. The results showed that this program is compatible with school system and could overcome lots of school problem i.e. the lack of teacher competency on developing lesson plan, learning media, the lack of human resource developmen division in school, the continuity of teacher quality improvement program, dan the quality of school management. But several teacher and school’s management are irresponsive to the program because its team member was university student, not the professional one. It is why in several school the program cannot running well as expected. Eventhough overall the program experiment is succesful.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini diarahkan untuk mengetahui implementasi gagasan tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan di sekolah, terutama mengenai kompatibilitas gagasan dengan konteks dan kondisi riil di sekolah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif serta model research and development (R & D), penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah di Kota Semarang dan sekitarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gagasan prototipe tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan di sekolah kompatibel dengan konteks dan kondisi sekolah. Problem kualitas guru dalam mengembangkan rencana pembelajaran, media belajar, termasuk keberlanjutan program peningkatan kualitas guru, manajemen sekolah, dan tiadanya divisi pengembangan sumber daya manusia, dapat diatasi oleh tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan. Fakta di lapangan memang menunjukkan beberapa sekolah tempat uji implementasi gagasan tersebut tidak dapat maksimal dalam penerapannya, namun hal tersebut bukan disebabkan oleh kualitas gagasan, melainkan faktor sosiokultural sekolah itu sendiri. Komposisi tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan di sekolah yang masih mahasiswa S1 diidentifikasi menjadi faktor penghambatnya. Walau begitu, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi gagasan tim pengembang teknologi pendidikan di sekolah telah berhasil dengan baik.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan komik matematika berbasis kontekstual untuk materi lingkaran yang berkualitas baik berdasarkan tiga kriteria, yaitu valid, praktis, dan efektif. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Prosedur-prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan meliputi empat langkah: (1) melakukan perencanaan produk yang akandikembangkan, (2) mengembangkan produk awal, (3) validasi dan revisi produk, (4) uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan revisi. Uji coba komik dilakukan secara terbatas oleh 10 siswa kelas VIII SMP. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, sedangkan instrumen penelitian yangdigunakan meliputi lembar validasi, angket penggunaan media, dan angket respon siswa. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komik matematika dinyatakan valid dengan skor kevalidan 4 oleh ahli media dan 3,9 oleh ahli materi dari skor maksimum 5 sehingga dikategorikan valid, komik matematika dinyatakan praktis dengan hasil analisis persentase kepraktisan 76,28 % dan komik matematika dinyatakan efektif degan hasil analisis persentase keefektifan 79,4%, sehingga dikategorikan efektif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka media komik ini memiliki kualitas yang baik sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai satu upaya atau alternatif media dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan bagi siswa.Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran, komik matematika, lingkaranThis research is a research that aims to develop contextual based mathematical comics for good quality circle material based on three criteria, namely valid, practical, and effective. The design of this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development procedures used include four steps: (1) conducting product planning to be developed, (2) developing initial products, (3) product validation and revision, (4) small-scale field trials and revisions. Comic trials are limited to 10 students in grade VIII SMP. Data collection techniques applied in this study were questionnaires, while the research instruments used included validation sheets, media use questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The research data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that mathematics comics are declared valid with a validity score of 4 by media experts and 3.9 by material experts from a maximum score of 5 so that they are categorized valid, mathematical comics are declared practical with the results of a practicality percentage analysis of 76.28% and mathematical comics are declared effective with the result of the analysis of the effectiveness percentage is 79.4%, so it is categorized as effective. Based on these results, this comic media has good quality so that it can be used as an alternative media used by teachers in the teaching and learning process in an effort to improve the quality of education and create a pleasant atmosphere for students.Keywords: learning media, mathematical comics, circles

Abstract This research is intended to see students’ creativity level on microteaching subject of Islamic Education Major Program Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers’ Training of IAIN Surakarta in 2015. This research was descriptive. The 6th semester students of Islamic Education Major Program were the participants of this research in micro teaching class. Interview and document were used as the instruments with the microteaching lecturer as the informant. Interactive analysis was applied for data analysis. The results show that the quality of students’ creativity in developing lesson plan as follows: (1)The lesson plan (RPP) developed before teaching improves learning quality (2)the interactive activities mentioned in the lesson plan (RPP) contain the learning strategies and facilities encouraging teaching and learning process (3)learning goals were achieved during the teaching and learning process. (4)the learning techniques is associated with the component of instructional system (5)teaching media was used to conduct conducive learning situation (6)some contents emphasized in the lesson plan (RPP) were suitable with the instructions existed in course book and curriculum (7)some specific activities done by the students in the learning process are their ways to master the materials they taught (8)The learning focus is emphasized on PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning) and on evaluation to check the result, process, and comprehensible instruction. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kreatifitas siswa pada pembelajaran micro teaching pada jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam, Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Surakarta tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa mata kuliah micro teaching semester VI. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumen yang mana dosen mata kuliah tersebut menjadi informan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreatifitas para siswa pada matakuliah micro teaching sebagai berikut: 1)Pembuatan RPP dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. 2)kegiatan interaktif yang tertera dalam RPP berisi langkah-langkah strategi pembelajaran interaktif dan fasilitas yang mendukung proses belajar mengajar; 3)tujuan didapatkan dalam proses belajar mengajar. 4)teknik pembelajaran dilakukan dan disesuaikan dengan kandungan dari sistem instruksional. 5)penggunaan media ajar kondusif. 6)penekanan yang dipaparkan dalam RPP disesuaikan dnegan instruksi yang ada dalam buku dan kurikulum. 7)hal-hal spesifik yang dilakukan para mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan strategi untuk menguasai materi yang akan diajarkan. 8)fokus dalam pembelajaran ditekankan pada PAIKEM (Pembelajaran Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan) dan evaluasi untuk mengetahui hasil, proses, dan instruksi yang komprehensif. This study aims to develop English reading materials needed by students of Vocational School and develop English reading materials for students of Audio Video Program based on Contextual Teaching and Learning. The research was conducted by Research and Development (R & D) design through six phases; gathering information and data, analyzing data, designing new materials, validating by experts, revising, and final product. It was conducted in SMK N 1 PercutSei Tuan, especially grade X. The data were gathered by administering interview and distributing questionnaire to 23 respondents to get the students’ needs. The interview and questionnaire results prove that the students need English reading materials which contain English for Audio Video program.The average scores are the first from English lecturer and the second from English teacher. It means that the developing materials categorized as suitable or approriate for grade X of Audio Video program. Key words: Research and Development (R & D), reading materials, Audio Video Program.

The purpose of this research was to strengthen characters and ecopreneurship of students who enrolled in science, environment, technology, and society (SETS) course. The focus of the students’ characters in this study included responsibility, discipline, creative and innovative, commitment, and cooperative. This course supports the students to develop ecopreneurship to create products from organic and inorganic waste treatments. To achieve the purpose of this research, a teaching and learning package including syllabus, lesson plan, and assessment criteria were developed using the Research and Development (R&D) method. A total of 42 science education undergraduates and two experts were involved in this research. The data were collected through validation sheets, observation sheets, and assessment of students’ecopreneurship products. The validation results showed that the developed teaching and learning package categorized as very good. In this course, six stages of learning were implemented including identifying a problem, making a plan, conducting an observation, collecting information, exhibiting a product, and writing ideas. The observation results showed that the overall developed teaching and learning package was effective to support the students’ learning in each of the six stages. Moreover, the improvement in students’ scores on the focused characters was observed. At the end of the course, the students’ ecopreneurship products were also accomplished. Nine of the products were made of organic waste, while the two of them were recycled from inorganic waste. Thus, it concluded that the course of science, environment, technology, and society could strengthen the students’ characters and ecopreneurship.

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendedahkan tentang penerimaan murid dalam kemahiran dan maklumat pembelajaran yang dilakukan di sekolah rendah. Kajian ini juga bertujuan untuk memahami ciri khas gaya pembelajaran elemen persekitaran dan elemen fisiologi murid yang lemah berdasarkan kecenderungan mereka untuk belajar dan kemampuan memproses maklumat baru. Kajian ini adalah kajian kes yang menggunakan data kualitatif untuk menjawab persoalan yang dinyatakan. Penyelidik menggunakan Model Dunn & Dunn sebagai panduan dalam menganalisis data pemerhatian dalam gaya pembelajaran yang disokong oleh wawancara dan analisis hasil kerja murid. 16 peserta dipilih dengan sengaja untuk kajian ini. Dapatan menunjukkan bahawa rangsangan gaya pembelajaran elemen persekitaran dan elemen fisiologi mendorong atau merangsang pembelajaran murid yang lemah. Kesimpulannya, di samping strategi yang baik, gaya pembelajaran sebagai petunjuk pembelajaran dan pencapaian yang meningkatkan kualiti penerimaan maklumat murid. Oleh itu, penemuan ini merungkai hubungan antara gaya pembelajaran dan kesan pembelajaran murid yang perlu diberi perhatian oleh pendidik untuk memenuhi pengajaran dan cara pembelajaran murid. Special Characteristics of Learning Styles Environmental Elements and Physiological Elements of Weak Students to Learn and Process New Information Abstract: This study aims to reveal about the acceptance of students in the skills and information of learning done in primary schools. This study also aims to understand the special characteristics of learning styles of environmental elements and physiological elements of weak students based on their propensity to learn and ability to process new information. This study is a case study that uses qualitative data to answer the stated questions. Researchers used the Dunn and Dunn Model as a guide in analyzing observational data in a learning style supported by interviews and analysis of student work outcomes. 16 participants were deliberately selected for this study. Findings indicate that learning style stimuli of environmental elements and physiological elements induce or stimulate poor student learning. In conclusion, in addition to good strategies, learning style as an indicator of learning and achievement that improves the quality of student information reception. Therefore, these findings unravel the relationship between learning styles and student learning effects that need to be given attention by educators to meet the teaching and learning methods of students.
