In the course of studying the problem of harmonizing the physical and mental development of a preschool, it was revealed that some researchers correlate motor and intellectual, the second physical and mental, the third physical and mental development. At the same time, no specific indicators of the harmony of the combination of quantitative parameters were identified. Thus, there is a problem of assessing the level of harmony between the physical and mental development of preschoolers in the process of physical education. On the basis of the existing problem, we made an attempt to develop a methodology for assessing the harmonious relationship between the physical and mental development of preschoolers 5-6 years old. The process of developing the methodology covered several successive stages. At the first stage, all indicators of the physical and mental development of preschoolers were transferred to 5 points level systems. The method of conducting all-Russian monitoring of physical development and physical fitness of studying educational institutions was taken as the basis for translating indicators of physical development into scores. An important task at the head of the preschool education system is the comprehensive and harmonious development of the child's personality. However, the programmatic and normative documents available in preschool institutions are aimed at developing personal qualities through educational fields, due to which the mental load is significantly superior to the physical one, and educational classes are held mainly in a static position.

Education has been considered as an indispensable asset of every individual, community and nation today. Indias higher education system is the third largest in the world, after China and the United States (World Bank). Tamil Nadu occupies the first place in terms of possession of higher educational institutions in the private sector in the country with over 46 percent(27) universities, 94 percent(464) professional colleges and 65 percent(383) arts and science colleges(2011). Studies to understand the profile of the entrepreneurs providing higher education either in India or Tamil Nadu were hardly available. This paper attempts to map the demographic profile of the entrepreneurs providing higher education in Arts and Science colleges in Tamil Nadu through an empirical analysis, carried out among 25 entrepreneurs spread across the state. This paper presents a summary of major inferences of the analysis.

The rhythm and tempo of music has a beneficial impact on a person's desire to perform in unison movements. They can calm or excite the human nervous system and have a beneficial effect on the overall physical condition of the person. Regular fitness classes help to improve the mental and physical performance of students. Types and forms of fitness aerobics allow you to use an individual approach when choosing tools and methods in physical education lessons. In our opinion, the motor mode during fitness classes should correlate with the psychological and emotional state of the participants, as well as with their overall level of physical development. As a result of regular fitness classes in physical education classes, students improve the functioning of the musculoskeletal system and improve the development of skeletal muscles. The introduction of teaching in higher educational institutions of the training course "Valeology" in our opinion will allow students to gain important knowledge they need throughout their lives.

The modern system of preschool education is unique in its multidimensional nature of services since in a preschool educational institution a child is provided with upbringing, training, supervision, and care. The child's future academic performance largely depends on his preschool education. The article examines key indicators featuring the development of preschool education in the Krasnodar Region. The purpose of this study is to summarize the results of improvements in education, to determine the main guidelines for further activities. Today in the Russian Federation there are no mechanisms for a comprehensive quantitative assessment of the activities of preschool educational institutions; the assessment is implemented mainly using the method of expert estimates. Therefore, specialists of the education management bodies and heads of the educational institutions can compare the preschool educational institutions only based on these scattered data. The authors propose the following directions of state support for the development of the regional education system: 1) to determine the list of services on the market; provide a description and define their sourcing; 2) to develop an annually updated system of accounting for unmet needs of the population in preschool educational services; 3) to create a system for the development of entrepreneurship in the field of preschool education, given the support from public authorities.

Background. Theoretical analysis of research papers allowed us to establish that physical preparation of pu-pils in elementary grades as an area of scientific and pedagogical knowledge was not investigated enough. Despite great efforts to cover a lot of questions and undoubted theoretical and practical significance of educational research, it should be noted that the problem of physical education for younger pupils using sports games in the lessons of physical education remains open to theoretical understanding and experimental study. There is a lack of specific studies that reveal the basic trends and ways to optimize the studied phenomenon. Worsening situation in the area of physical training in junior classes and individual indicators of health status in the country encourages looking for scientific solutions of the problem. Research aim was to define the most effective methods of physical education for 8–9-year-old girls, learners of the second and third grades, during physical education lessons including elements of sports games in a comprehensive school.Methods. Research participants were 64 girls from the second and the third grades. They were divided into 4 groups – 3 experimental groups and one control group. During the experiment, group E1 was allotted 75% of the time of the lesson for training technical actions of sports, group E2 – 50% in E3 – 25%, for the development of physi-cal skills – 25, 50 and 75% respectively. The effectiveness of the proposed program was estimated by the changes in the indicators of physical development and general physical fitness. Results and conclusions. Physical development of girls during the school year changed considerably. The most clearly expressed change was noted in the results of the changes in the girls’ body weight, from 20.32 to 23.24% in all groups. No significant differences between the experimental and control groups in terms of physical development were identified. Indicators of general physical fitness for the whole period of the experiment significantly increased in all the groups studied (p < .05–.001). They may be divided into two groups:•  The first group included indicators which were significantly higher in the experimental group E3, where more time was devoted to physical training (running at 30 m, the hand strength) during the physical educa-tion lessons; •  The second group included indicators which were significantly higher in the experimental group E1, where more time was devoted to sports (long jump, making a shot, running 3 x 10 m) during physical education lessons. Thus,  the  lessons  of  physical  education  with  elements  of  sports  promoted  more  intensive  development  of the overall fitness of girls aged 8–9 years compared to those who attended physical education lessons conducted according to the general curriculum. Keywords: girls in the second and the third grades, physical education class, physical development, physical ftness, sports and games.

In connection with the rapid and catastrophic deepening of the ecological crisis, an urgent need arose to change the system of relations between humanity and nature. But the basis for this can only be a change in the consciousness of people, and it is advisable to start this process from preschool childhood. Such tasks in the upbringing of children place high demands on educators in their professional training, in particular, acquiring knowledge and developing skills. But the personal qualities of the teacher play an equally important role in this, and this is especially necessary for preparing for the environmental education of preschoolers. The example of the educator in nature conservation, his attitude to animals and plants, determines the behaviour of children in the future. So, the issue of professional training of future educators of preschool educational institutions for the ecological education of children becomes relevant.

In the educational system of Bulgaria, extracurricular activities are provided and organized in all schools. There are also schools in the education system of Bulgaria that are neither private nor attached to the Ministry of Education. They are foreign schools in Bulgaria that are under the auspices of their embassies and their education system (e.g. French Lyceum, Anglo-American School, Russian School, American College and others). Sports activities are widespread, as it is well known that most European countries, and especially the United States, believe that competitive spirit is crucial in many professional fields, as well as teamwork, which is imperceptibly developing in most sports. The aim of the present study is to examine the opinion of parents of children from the secondary education level regarding extracurricular activities in physical education and sports in the context of COVID-19. Various research methods were used, like review study of specialized literature and normative documents and survey method. As a result, it was concluded that when students are placed in new and different conditions for sports, their desire and interest to play and to be active is not reduced. The created and well-organized safe environment during the classes gives confidence and peace of mind to the parents that their children are safe.
