Abstract: The ability of students in Islamic universities to write Arabic correctly is very important. Therefore, it is very important to have learning related to tahsinul kitabah or improving Arabic writing. The problem that the writer finds in the process of learning tahsinul kitabah is that there are still many students who have very low writing skills in Arabic. This is partly due to the previous educational background. For this reason, a learning innovation is needed that can help students improve their writing skills even for those who do not have an educational background in previous Islamic religious schools. This paper contains a study of several learning media theories which are mixed in a learning media design. The results of this study, the authors produced an audiovisual learning media for imla 'learning, namely silent audio-visual media, in the form of books / sheets and sound (audio).Key Words: Instructional media, audio-visual, imla’ Abstrak: Kemampuan mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi Islam dalam menulis tulisan berbahasa Arab sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, sangat diperlukan adanya pembelajaran terkait tahsinul kitabah atau memperbaiki tulisan berbahasa Arab. Permasalahn yang penulis temukan dalam proses pembelajaran tahsinul kitabah adalah masih banyaknya mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan menulis tulisan berbahasa Arab sangat rendah. Hal itu di antaranya disebabkan oleh latar belakang pendidikan yang ditempuh sebelumnya. Untuk itu diperlukan adanya suatu inovasi pembelajaran yang bisa membantu mahasiswa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mereka bahkan bagi mereka yang tidak memiliki latar pendidikan di sekolah agama Islam sebelumnya. Tulisan ini berisi kajian terhadap beberapa teori media pembelajaran yang diramu dalam suatu desain media pembelajaran. Hasil dari kajian tersebut, diperoleh sebuah media pembelajaran audiovisual untuk pembelajaran imla’, yaitu media audio visual diam, berupa buku/lembaran dan suara (audio).Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran, audio-visual, imla’

This study analyzes the English teacher candidate’s use of instructional media in the teaching practicum. The English teacher candidate who became the participant in this study was doing their teaching practicum in MTsN 5 Jember. This study applied the qualitative case study design. Interview and observation were done one time to select the participant. The four-times classroom observations and questionnaires were used in order to collect the data. This study employed the model of Creswell in analyzing the data. The findings of this study showed that the English teacher candidate applied one type of instructional media namely Visual Media. Those were Picture and Whiteboard. The way the teacher candidate implemented the instructional media was almost the same in each meeting of the teaching and learning process. However, the students’ participation and response were not always the same in every meeting. It depended on the way the teacher candidate managed the class activity.

The study was designed to test the hypothesis that motion in visual media can be differentially effective in enhancing the learning of complex spatial relations as a function of the viewer's aptitude. 84 subjects (42 males and 42 females) of high and low spatial aptitude (as measured by the Guilford-Zimmerman Test of Spatial Visualization) were taught the movement patterns of 5 chessmen with 1 of 3 instructional films: (1) a “stills” condition which simulated a slide presentation, (2) an “Arrows” condition which was identical to the “Stills” condition except for the addition of an animated cueing arrow, (3) a “Full Motion” condition which followed a standard motion picture format. Subjects of high aptitude showed no differences between instructional modes. Subjects of low aptitude performed better with both motion conditions but no differences were found between them.

This research is motivated by students' chemical mastery in learning is still low, especially for abstract concept/theory material. This can be seen from students being less active and lacking memory in following the learning process.  In addition, schools only rely on textbooks that make students less interested in learning and there is no student workbook to support students' understanding. This research aimed at knowing the appropriateness of the instructional media design in the form of Probing-Prompting based student workbook on Periodic System of the Elements lesson.  It was administered at State Islamic Senior High School 1 Pekanbaru.  It was R&D (Research and Development) with 4-D model, and it was limited to 3 models—define, design, and development.  The subjects of this research were the experts of material, the experts of media, and the experts of language, Chemistry subject teachers, 10 students at the tenth grade of MIA 1.  The object was Probing-Prompting based student workbook on Periodic System of the Elements lesson.  The research findings showed that Probing-Prompting based student workbook was appropriate to be used and it was based on the results of validity and practicality levels.  The percentage of validity level obtained was 85.78% (very valid) and the practicality level was 85.33% (very practical).  Based on theses results, it could be identified that Probing-Prompting based student workbook could be tested further.

One of the innovative learning methods today is the Suggestopedia method. This article aims to examine the theory of suggestopedia and its implications in learning Arabic writing skills (insyā’). The research method of this article uses a literature review. Sources of data obtained from the exploration of literature related literature studies. Data is examined critically and deeply through data triangulation. The results of the analysis of this article are that the suggestopedia method has implications in learning Arabic writing skills (insyā’) on several aspects, including aspects of learning objectives, aspects of learning techniques, aspects of learning strategies, aspects of instructional media, aspects of the learning environment, and aspects of learning levels.

Learning letters is associated with a long-term learning. Two basic models are present in obtaining letters in a systematic literacy in Slovenia and abroad. One represents a separate acquisition of the uppercase and lowercase printed letters (sequentially) and the other deals with letters simultaneously. In practice, teachers often asked themselves, especially in times of reforms in literacy, which model of the acquisition of the letters in initial literacy is more efficient. The research focused on the effect of the two most frequently chosen procedures for acquiring letters of structured literacy in Slovenia, namely the simultaneous treatment of the uppercase and lowercase printed letters (lowercase cursive letters and upper-case cursive letters) and consecutive treatment of letters (uppercase printed letters, lowercase printed letters, lowercase cursive letters, and at last, uppercase printed letters). Furthermore, the focus of the research was on the impact of gender on the ability to write. The incidence of errors was observed in terms of selected procedures for acquiring the letters in groups and gender. At the same time, the effect of consolidation of writing individual letters (uppercase and lowercase printed letters in 2nd class, and lowercase and uppercase cursive letters in 3rd class), was examined. Abstract -This research is done in an effort to find out the use of audio visual technology using recitation method on Civics Subject in optimizing students’ learning achievement, the research’s design is Quasi experiment using two groups. In group learning the experiment uses audio visual aid using recitation method while control class is using recitation method without audio visual aid. Test is used to obtain research to find out aspect of remembering and aspect of understanding in the form of multiple choices. Based on findings result and study it was obtained the conclusion of learning result of students who acquired better learning using recitation and audio visual aid than those of who without audio visual aid it can be seen from experiment class’ average score is 11,94 and control class is 10.41.Key words: Audio Visual Technology, Recitation Media, Civics Subject Abstrak   –    Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam upaya untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan teknologi audio visual dengan metode resitasi pada mata pelajaran PKn dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar siswa, desain penelitiannya adalah eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan dua kelompok. Dalam pembelajaran kelompok eksperimen menggunakan alat bantu audio visual dengan metode resitasi sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode resitasi tanpa bantuan audio visual. Tes digunakan untuk memperoleh penelitian untuk mengetahui aspek mengingat dan aspek pemahaman berupa pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembelajaran diperoleh kesimpulan hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran lebih baik dengan menggunakan alat bantu resitasi dan audio visual dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan alat bantu audio visual terlihat dari nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 11,94 dan kontrol. kelasnya adalah 10.41.Kata Kunci :   Teknologi Audio Visual, Media Resitasi, Mata Pelajaran PKn

<span class="fontstyle0">Problems of students’ character are currently the main focus in the education realm. The role of the family, teachers, and the society is critical in shaping the character of children.<br />The weakness of character-based learning in an educational institution has been the key factor on the problem of student characters. The teacher in the learning process is often less<br />inovative and creative in designing the learning process, especially in terms of learning media design. Comic is one of media that can help students and can replace the position of teachers in learning activities both inside and outside the classroom. Comic can be used in a two-way learning process, namely as a teaching tool and as a medium for shaping the character of the students. Based on observation field, it is known that in the process of learning, comic as instructional medium has never been utilized. Therefore, the presence of learning media in the form of comics is expected to assist the teacher in the learning process and helps in forming the character of students. Comic languages using polite language are expected to avoid impolite languages and not in accordance with the objectives of education character. This also inspires the use of instructional media comic contents of learning materials in elementary school. Comics as a medium of learning is able to build the foundations of character for learners and are ultimately capable of constructing human characters that are intact and resilient.<br /></span><strong></strong>

The purpose of this research is to get the draft chemistry learning media design developed to support ecopreneurship. Ecopreneurship at FMIPA UNESA is broken down into eco-innovation (new ideas), eco opportunities, and eco commitment. Design of this research is giving the assignment to research objectives. The model development research with stages, SMK learning in class, students doing assignments, arrange learning media design, assessing game design, and data analysis. The assignment is compiling a plan for developing instructional media that can be applied in chemistry learning in SMK. That assignment was assessed by 3 experts and the score was averaged. The assessment has been fulfilled if all media plans have met the fulfillment criteria. The innovation of chemistry media was also assessed and has met the innovation when obtaining an average of at least 4 with a maximum scale of 5. This research was conducted at the Department of Chemistry FMIPA UNESA in the odd semester of the academic year 2019/2020. the results showed 4 vocational chemistry learning media designs, (1) VCO-Making KIT, (2) Voltaic Cell KIT, (3) Acid-base Mini Lab, and (4) Red and Ox Games. All of that has fulfilled the contents and construct besides that the student has a new idea.
