Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan penerapan model kooperatif tipe <em>student facilitator and explaining</em> ditinjau dari hasil belajar, aktivitas siswa, dan respon siswa.  Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan <em>eksperimen pre-experimental design</em> yaitu <em>one-group pretest-posttest design</em>. Satuan eksperimen yaitu kelas kelas VII A.2 yang dipilih secara random dari 4 kelas VII dengan perlakuan dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes untuk mengukur ketuntasan hasil belajar matematika siswa, lembar observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa, angket respon siswa untuk mengetahui bagaimana respon siswa dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hasil belajar matematika siswa, aktivitas siswa, serta respon siswa. Selanjutnya analisis statistik inferensial dengan <em>one sample t-test</em> yang didahului dengan uji normalitas yang dilanjutkan dengan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe <em>student facilitator and explaining </em>efektif diterapkan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Unismuh Makassar dengan indikator : 1) Hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah diterapkan pembelajaran dengan model kooperatif tipe <em>student facilitator and explaining</em> termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan skor rata-rata 79,60 dan standar deviasi 12,11 dan mencapai ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal; 2) Aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berada  pada  kategori aktif yaitu sebanyak 76,42% siswa aktif dalam proses pembelajaran; dan 3) Respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran pada umumnya memberikan tanggapan positif sebanyak 82,22% siswa

This study focused on finding out the effect of applying RAP (Read, Ask,Paraphrase) Strategy on students’ reading comprehension in reading analyticalexposition text. This study was conducted in experimental design. The populationof this research was the second year of students in SMA Swasta Katolik BudiMurni 2 Medan. There were seventy students of the second year senior highschool students as the sample of the research. This study was conducted with tworandomized groups namely Experimental Group and Control Group. Theexperimental group was taught by applying RAP Strategy, while the control groupwas taught by applying conventional strategy. The instrument of collecting thedata was multiple choice tests which consisted of 25 items. The data wereanalyzed by using t-test formula. The calculation shown that t-observed (5.36)was higher than t-table (1.994) at the level of significance (α) 0.05 with the degreeof freedom (df) 68. It means that there was a significant effect of applying RAPStrategy on students’ reading comprehension in reading analytical exposition text.

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran klasikal yang digunakan guru dalam mengajarkan calistung kreativitas anak belum berkembang dengan optimal. Strategi pembelajaran beyond centers and circle time (bcct) dipilih sebagai suatu model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada anak. Dalam model pembelajaran tersebut terdapat suatu variasi prilaku kreatif yang digunakan untuk bahan penelitian. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana aktivitas kreativitas anak usia dini dengan menggunakan pembelajaran beyond centers and circle time (bcct) dan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran beyond centers and circle time (bcct) terhadap kreativitas anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas kreativitas anak usia dini dengan menggunakan pembelajarn beyond centers and circle time (bcct) dan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran beyond centers and circle time (bcct) terhadap kreativitas anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian menggunakan Pre-Experimental Design dengan menggunakan Pre-Test-Post-Test Control Group Design. Populasi dari penelitian adalah anak Pos Paud Nusa Indah Surabaya. Kelompok B dengan jumlah anak 28, kelas eksperimen 14 anak dan kelas kontrol 14 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data adalah dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji-t (t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelompok dinyatakan terdistribusi normal (0,200>0,05) untuk kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dari uji Homogenitas di dapat kedua kelompok bersifat homogen (0.378>0,050) pada pretest dan(0.554>0,05) pada hasil nilai dari kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol terdapat perbedaan mean sebesar 0,5 hal ini terlihat dari mean difference sebesar -0,5000. Hasil analisis Group Statistics Pretest dan Group Statistics Posttest terlihat ada perbedaan dengan rata-rata pretest 6.143 berubah menjadi 9.714 dengan range kenaikan rata-rata 3.571. Sementara kelompok dengan pendekatan BCCT (Beyond Centers and Circle Time) mendapat hasil rata-rata 6.00 dan medapati kenaikan pada skor 10.214 dengan kenaikan skor sebesar 4.214. dengan demikian dapat di artikan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan BCCT (Beyond Centers and Circle Time) lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kreatifitas anak.

Vocabulary is an important one of the language components that should be learnt by students, so they can master the English well. This research is conducted to know the student vocabulary improving after taught using crossword puzzles. The research used pre-experimental design which is need an experimental class. The sample of this research is the first grade of SMAN 5 Makassar which consist of 20 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used vocabulary test that has administered in pretest and posttest. The result showed that the mean score in posttest was 76.75 that is higher than the mean score in pre-test was 55.5. The score of t-test was 0.02 was smaller than α (0.05). It can be said that using puzzles can improve the students’ vocabulary mastery.

The problem of this research is whether the application of cooperative learning method is effective in reducing student’s anxiety in learning Math at grade VII at the topic of round numbers. The objective of the research is to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning in reducing student’s anxiety in learning Math at the topic of round numbers at grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Baubau. This research is descriptive quantitative by applying quasi experimental design. The sample taken consisted of 54 students which is each group consisted of 27 students. The instrument used in this research is test. The result of the research show that (1)The mean score of students learning in Math in experimental group before treatment is 56,48 with standard of deviation is 18,65 and after treatment is 83,70 with standard of deviation is 15,54. (2)The mean score of students learning in Math in control group before treatment is 56,67 with standard of deviation is 17,26 and after treatment is 73,51 with standard of deviation is 17,58. (3)Based on the mean score of students result in learning who is taught through those model of learning and seeing the result of statistic inferential of t test shows that learning through cooperative learning method is more effective to reduce students anxiety in learning Math.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran NHT, 2) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran NHT, dan 3) besar efektivitas model pembelajaran NHT terhadap hasil belajar siswa dikelas X SMAN 1 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian ialah metode eksperimen (Pre-Experimental Design) dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMAN 1 Sungai Raya yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini ialah kelas X IPA5 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dengan menggunakan teknik purporsive sampling.  Instrumen untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa menggunakan tes essay. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji rata-rata, uji pair sample t-test, dan effect size.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat peningkatan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dari 45,0 menjadi 77,8, 2) Dari hasil analisis data menggunakan uji pair sample t-test dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran NHT, dan 3) Nilai Effect Size sebesar 2,2 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran NHT pada materi gerak lurus berubah beraturan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. This study aims to analyze: 1) student learning outcomes before and after applying the NHT learning model, 2) differences in student learning outcomes before and after applying the NHT learning model, and 3) the effectiveness of NHT learning models on student learning outcomes in class X SMAN 1 Sungai Raya. The research method is the experimental method (Pre-Experimental Design) with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study population was all students of class X Science at Sungai Raya 1 State High School consisting of 5 classes. The sample of this study is class X IPA5 as an experimental class, using purposive sampling technique. Instrument to measure student learning outcomes using an essay test. Data were analyzed using an average test, pair sample t-test, and effect size. The results show that: 1) there is an increase in the average score of student learning outcomes from 45.0 to 77.8, 2) From the results of data analysis using pair sample t-test can be concluded that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes before and after applying the NHT learning model, 3) Effect Size values of 2.2 which is included in the high category. It was concluded that the application of NHT learning  model affecting the learning outcomes of class X students of  SMAN  1 Sungai Raya, of the subject matter rectilinear motion with constant acceleration.

This study investigated the effect of using English Subtitle in “Zootopia” Movie as media in speaking skill of SMPN 6 Sidoarjo. English Subtitle can describe as practice media to help the students when they understand to watch movie. The method used Quasi Experimental Design. The result of this study showed that the student could improve their ability in speaking skill through English subtitle. The data got from both pre-test and post-test score were analyzed using T-test formula. The result of calculation showed that in the significance degree of 5%, the value of t-test (to) is higher than t-table (tt) (19.90 > 1.99). According to the criteria of the test, the result showed that there is an effect of student’s in speaking skill using English subtitle. It can be concluded that English Subtitle in “Zootopia” movie as media is effective and applicable approach at the ninth grade of SMPN 6 Sidoarjo to improve student in speaking skill.

Background: Many educational institutions in Indonesia are familiar with the concept of interprofessional learning or interprofessional education but not many have applied. Facilitator readiness, one of the causes of this method has not been implemented optimally. Purpose: This study aims to determine the readiness of the lecturer as a facilitator in interprofessional learning. Methods: The pre-experimental design, pre and posttest design was used to examine a sample of 20 respondents which included the lecturers of nursing, midwifery and nutrition obtained by purposive sampling. Instrument to measure the readiness of lecturers using the RIPLS questionnaire. Result: The results of statistical tests using the T-Test found that the readiness of lecturers in the positive category where there was a change in readiness before and after being given an intervention in the form of interprofessional learning training with a Pvalue of 0.021. Conclusion: Educational institutions are recommended to start developing interprofessional education models that are mutually agreed upon and supported by clear facilities, policies and regulations. Subsequent research is expected to explore more appropriate interprofessional  learning models through both qualitative and quantitative approaches

The purpose of this study was to examine the application of the PORPE technique in enhancing the eleventh-grade students’ reading achievement of SMAN 3 Unggulan Kayuagung. Since there were five classes with 157 students, the samples were selected using purposive sampling. As a result, there were 62 students who took part as the sample.  This study used a quasi-experimental design with nonrandomized pretest and posttest control groups. The data was gathered employing a written test, which was a multiple-choice reading test. The data was analyzed using the t-test. The results revealed that students who were taught through PORPE technique scored higher on reading tests. Besides, PORPE technique could improve the eleventh grade students’ reading achievement of SMAN 3 Unggulan Kayuagung. Hence, students could understand the information form the text and were confidence in answering the questions.

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to reveal the influence of storytelling method toward the ability of revealed language the of Child Aged 5-6 Years Old at Pertiwi 1 Banjarsari. This research uses quantitative approach by using experiment method; the research design uses Pre-Experimental design (nondesign) which includes pre-test and pos-test. Subject of this research is a child aged 5-6 years old in Pertiwi 1 Banjarsari Kindergarten about 19 students. Data collecting technique through the observation and documentation. Data analysis technique the inferensial statistics by using t data experiment analysis (T-Test). The result of data analysis is acquired value r = 0,68, </em><em> wich are -</em><em>2,450 </em><em> -11,66, thus </em><em>is accepted wich means there is significanct influence between </em><em>Sorytelling Method to child’s revealed language ability.</em><strong><em></em></strong></p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan star run terhadap peningkatan kecepatan dan kelincahan pada siswa pesetra ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 2 Pupuan tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan “The non-randomized control group pretest posttest design”. Subyek penelitian ini siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 2 Pupuan dengan jumlah 38 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan tes lari cepat (sprint) dengan jarak 50 meter untuk kecepatan dan Illinois agility run untuk kelincahan. Data dianalisis dengan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi () 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t independent untuk kecepatan diperoleh nilai signifikansi (0,000) dan untuk kelincahan diperoleh nilai signifikansi (0,000) semua data lebih kecil dari nilai α (Sig < 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan star run berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kecepatan dan kelincahan pada siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 2 Pupuan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Bagi para pelaku olahraga, disarankan untuk menggunakan pelatihan star run sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jsmani khususnya kecepatan dan kelincahan.
