ABSTRAKAlat pengukur tinggi badan dan penimbang berat badan yang sekaligus memberikan informasi berat badan ideal akan sangat bermanfaat bagi para pengguna. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini, dirancang dan direalisasikan suatu alat ukur yang sekaligus dapat mengukur tinggi badan dan berat badan serta memberikan informasi ideal atau tidaknya berat badan yang terukur. Alat ukur ini menggunakan Arduino Uno sebagai otaknya, sensor ultrasonik untuk mengukur tinggi badan, dan sensor strain gauge untuk mengukur berat badan. Data dari kedua sensor tersebut diolah oleh Arduino untuk mendapatkan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) dan berat badan ideal (BBI). Nilai tinggi badan, berat badan, dan berat badan ideal akan ditampilkan pada LCD. Selanjutnya, informasi suara menyangkut kondisi berat badan yaitu ideal, gemuk, atau kurus akan dikeluarkan oleh speaker. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan analisis data maka diperoleh nilai persentase keberhasilan rata-rata pada pengukuran tinggi badan adalah 96,80% dan pada pengukuran berat badan adalah 99,04%. Sedangkan tingkat keberhasilan penampilan informasi suara adalah 95%.Kata kunci: Alat ukur digital, tinggi badan, beratbadan, Arduino, output suara.ABSTRACTAn instument for measuring height and weight while providing information ideal weight for users will be very helpful. Therefore, in this study, it was designed and realized a measuring instrument which can simultaneously measure the height and weight as well as providing the ideal information whether or not the weight measured. This instrument uses an Arduino Uno as the brain, the ultrasonic sensor to measure the height and strain gauge sensor for measuring weight. Data from the sensors is processed by the Arduino to get a body mass index and ideal weight. The values of height, weight, and ideal weights will display on LCD. Furthermore, voice information regarding the ideal conditions of weight, namely ideal, fat, or thin will be emitted by a speaker. Based on test results and data analysis, obtained that values of the average percentage of success at the height measurement was 96.80% and the weight measurement was 99.04%,respectively. While the success rate of emitting the sound information is 95%.Keywords: Digital measuring instrument, height, weight, Arduino, sound output.

In this research, the water turbidity measurement tool based on Arduino Uno has been designed and built using phototransistors and infrared LEDs. This measuring instrument consists of a series of infrared sensors, Arduino as a process, LCD I2C as a value viewer, Micro SD as a data storage, and RTC as a timer. This study used two water samples with various concentrations. The sample used, namely distilled water plus impurities in the form of soil and ash. The distilled water used is still 100 ml with variations in the concentration of impurities ranging from 0,1-0,9 gr. Sensor test results show that the greater the turbidity level, the greater the voltage obtained. Sensor scanning ranges from 2,02 V-4,00 V for groundwater and 2,02 V-4,31 V for ash water. The reading uses a standard measuring instrument for groundwater ranging from 0 NTU to 331,4 NTU, while for ash water ranging from 0 NTU to 284,4 NTU. Data from the sensor test results in an equation used to convert the artificial measuring instrument's voltage value into a turbidity value. Then, data is taken using the same sample, so groundwater's turbidity value was obtained from 0 NTU to 318,94 NTU while for ash water from 0 NTU to 285,13 NTU. Based on the results, average accuracy for water was obtained. Soil amounted to 94,66%, while for ash water was 96,63%.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to design and make a real tool in the form of a drying cabinet for cocoa beans. Because this solution can relieve the farmers who previously drained the cocoa beans in the sun. This drying cabinet uses the Arduiono Uno 328P control and heater element as a heater. This cabinet is also equipped with a DC motor mechanical device to drive the cocoa drying container. This tool is also equipped with a DHT12 sensor which is a resistive sensor whose value changes depending on the water content of the cocoa beans. The sensor plays a role in detecting the temperature and humidity of the seeds in the cacao drying room. Then the output inverting amplifier voltage is read by the ADC Arduino UNO 328p microcontroller, which is then processed and displayed on the LCD. The test results showed that the measuring instrument made was able to measure the amount of water contained in cocoa beans in the range of water content measurement from 60% to 7.5%. Keyword: Cocoa Beans, Temperature, Arduino, DC Motor, DHT Sensor

The background of this research is an instrument of learning for reading comprehension which in general is still dominated by an instrument in the form of print out which makes the students’ interest to read is reduced. In addition, this instrument is usually done manually or handwritten so that the students’ work must be corrected manually and require some time to get the results. This study aims to develop instruments or measuring devices for reading comprehension in the Primary School in Pekanbaru and find out the feasibility of measuring devices for reading comprehension skills. This product is Macromedia Flash 8 based namely "MaCaMi" which stands forMari Membaca dan Memahami. The research method used was the 4D model with four stages, such as the define stage, the design phase, the develop phase, and the dessiminate stage which is limited to the third stage. The data of this study were obtained from product design expert validation questionnaire, questionnaire validated by linguists, teacher response questionnaire and students response questionnaire. The data were generated quantitatively and analyzed by using the assessment criteria to determine the product quality. The results of this study showed the assessment of product design experts in draft 1 had an average percentage of 69.61% with the appropriate category then had increased in draft 2 to 90.56% with the very feasible category. The results of  the feasibility test by linguists in draft 1 with had average percentage of 95.30% with the very feasible category then increased in draft 2 to 97.20% withn the very feasible category. The results of the teacher's response to the reading comprehension measuring instrument in the Primary School in Pekanbaru developed by researchers obtained an average percentage of 93.50% with a very good category and the results of students' responses to the measuring instrument obtained an average percentage of 89.90% with a category very good. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the product developed by researchers is feasible to be used as a measure of reading comprehension ability of primary school students.

Jovens do sexo feminino são mais vulneráveis às pressões socioeconômicas e culturais associadas aos padrões estéticos, tendo-se em vista a ênfase crescente dada à magreza como aspectos associados aos ideais de beleza. Para que a perda de peso aumente, eis que surge a necessidade do uso de medicamentos inibidores do apetite. O trabalho teve como objetivo identificar e descrever o índice de prevalência do uso de medicamentos para emagrecer entre universitárias. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo, descritiva, transversal e de natureza quantitativa.  O total de entrevistados foi de 148 alunas, compreendidas entre os cursos de Recursos Humanos, Pedagogia e Enfermagem. O uso de medicamentos para emagrecer quando as pessoas ingressam na universidade aumenta devido à necessidade do “corpo perfeito” para concorrer com outras universitárias. As usuárias necessitam desistir da ideia fixa de que o medicamento é a única forma rápida e fácil de perder peso e se conscientizarem de que o peso ideal é obtido através de exercícios físicos e uma dieta equilibrada, com reeducação alimentar.Descritores: Obesidade, Mulher, Medicamentos. Prevalence of weight-loss drugs among universityAbstract: Young women are more vulnerable to the socioeconomic and cultural pressures associated with aesthetic standards, keeping in view the increasing emphasis on thinness as aspects associated with ideals of beauty. For weight loss increase, here comes the need of using inhibitor drugs appetite. The study aimed to identify and describe the prevalence rate of use of slimming drugs among university. This is a field research, descriptive, transversal and quantitative in nature. The total number of respondents was 148 students, ranging from courses in Human Resources, Education and Nursing. The use of slimming drugs when people entering university increases due to the need of the "perfect body" to compete with other universities. The users need to give up the fixed idea that medicine is the only quick and easy way to lose weight and become aware that the ideal weight is obtained through exercise and a balanced diet with nutritional education. Se trata de una investigación de campo, descriptivo, transversal y cuantitativo en la naturaleza. El número total de encuestados fue de 148 estudiantes, que van desde cursos en Recursos Humanos, Educación y Enfermería. El uso de medicamentos para adelgazar cuando la gente entrar en incrementos de la universidad debido a la necesidad del "cuerpo perfecto" para competir con otras universidades. Los usuarios tienen que renunciar a la idea fija de que la medicina es la única manera rápida y fácil de perder peso y estar consciente de que el peso ideal se obtiene mediante el ejercicio y una dieta equilibrada con la educación nutricional.Descriptores: Obesidad, Mujeres, Medicamentos.

Clothesline that is used in the community is still in the form of a manual so that the community must raise it directly. People who have more interests or who work may not have to raise clothes directly so they have to leave their more important work. When traveling or there are other jobs the community is still confused how to pick up clothesline with changing weather. From these problems, a prototype model of automatic clothesline was built using Android-based Arduino, this is to simplify and shorten the time in lifting clothesline or drying clothes when our weather changes. Having designed an automatic clothesline using Android-based Arduino. In this study, the Arduino UNO microcontroller functions as a data processing center obtained from the LDR sensor to detect light, uses a water sensor to detect rainwater and uses a DC motor to move the clothesline out / in, and uses the Bluetooth HC-05 module to move the clothesline with Android. The test results show that this tool works well, when the device is turned on the sensor will check the weather outside whether the weather is sunny or rainy. When the weather is sunny or hot outside, the clothesline will automatically come out and if the weather outside is raining, the clothesline will automatically go inside. When the sensor does not function or has trouble the automatic clothesline can be controlled via a smartphone that is connected to the Bluetooth HC-05 module.

The School Literacy Movement (GLS) aims to foster youth character through a culture of literacy (reading and writing). However, in the presence of the Covid-19 outbreak, Indonesian education needs to use online media to keep learning going. Many types of platforms are used for online learning media, but all of these media do not support school literacy activities, so school literacy activities do not run as usual. Based on these problems, a solution was created, namely an application that makes it easy for literacy activities to take place online. Students can access this application to do online literacy via a laptop or smartphone. This application makes it easier for teachers to monitor the course of online literacy programs. The results of this study are indicated by functional testing on all features obtaining a 100% valid percentage. Tests on users get an average percentage of more than 80%. The test results prove that this application can be accepted by students, teachers and admins at State High School 1 Geger Madiun to make literacy activities more effective and efficient.

Abstract Introduction Achondroplasia is the most common form of dwarfism in humans. At the end of the twentieth century, achondroplasia had its natural history investigated and its morbimortality understood. In dwarves, obesity is one of the causes of morbidity, and it is difficult to evaluate it due to the great disproportion among anthropometric data. The characterization of the nutritional needs of these patients represents an interesting dilemma for physicians. In view of these difficulties, the present case report describes an alternative to obtain the ideal weight value of an elderly dwarf in the use of parenteral nutritional therapy. Case Report A 73-year-old male patient, carrier of achondroplastic dwarfism, was admitted for surgical treatment of colon adenocarcinoma. He was submitted to total colectomy with ileum-rectum anastomosis, evolving with abdominal septic shock by suture dehiscence, which was fixed, and a protective ileostomy was installed. Due to the maintenance of prolonged fasting, without the possibility of starting oral or enteral feeding, the patient used total parenteral nutrition. To estimate the total energy expenditure, we chose to ask the patient what his ideal weight was. The patient used total parenteral nutrition for eight days until he was able to meet his caloric needs orally. Conclusion In the absence of indirect calorimetry, the ideal weight mentioned by the patient seems to be a good option for the estimation of the caloric expenditure by simplified equations.

Submission of learning materials with animal themes, especially wild animals to early childhood becomes a challenge for teachers. Two-dimensional displacement media in the form of a monotonous image has the potential to decrease interest in children's learning. Bringing wild animals directly or bringing the children to the zoo requires considerable cost and time and harm. Based on these problems, the authors develop android-based applications that contain fourteen species of wild animals in 3D format that is packed with Virtual Reality (VR) technology. The authors develop applications using development research methods with the ADDIE model. The developed VR application is capable of displaying wild animal animations complete with the sounds and environment of the habitat, as well as the description narrative features and food that can be viewed in 3D and VR modes. The test results showed that the application received a positive response from users, especially children in TK Negeri Pembina Singaraja. The average percentage for the user response test is 88.50%, which means it is very good where children can know the types of wild animals, the movements of wild animals, the sounds of wild animals, the habitats of wild animals and can use them easily.

We aimed to evaluate how Brazilian adults rank seven well-known health-related factors in terms of importance for health. A population-based study was undertaken in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil (N = 3,100; response rate: 96.5%). Individuals ranked three out of seven factors that, in their opinion, were the most important for health. The factors investigated were: "controlling stress", "practicing physical activity regularly", "avoiding drinking in excess", "avoiding smoking", "visiting a doctor regularly", "keeping the ideal weight", and "having a healthy diet". Healthy diet (73.9%), physical activity (59.9%), and visiting a doctor regularly (45.7%) were the most frequently reported factors. Younger subjects and those with higher socioeconomic status were more likely to report physical activity and stress as important factors for health than their counterparts. The importance attributed to health-related factors changes markedly among population subgroups.
