This study aims to describe the reading culture of students through a literacy program ten minutes before lectures. The research method used is qualitative research. Research subjects, Indonesian Language Education students in semesters one, three, and five. Collecting data to determine the reading culture of students through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the results of data collection conducted on Indonesian Language Education students, Billfath University, the following data were obtained: reading culture among sixth semester students was 58% of the total 46 students. In the third semester students the reading culture level of students is 93.75% of the total number of 20 students. The reading culture in first semester students is 65% of the total number of students 46. Thus, the literacy program ten minutes before lectures is able to foster a reading culture in students. This can be seen when the literacy program has not been implemented ten minutes before lectures. In terms of reading the most students read, namely: 65% of students read journal articles with the theme of education / teaching, 20% of students read language journal articles, and 15% of students read literary journals.

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the analysis of the ability to understand cognitive mathematics in the material "angles" when using video learning with an online system in class IV B SDN Pintukisi Sukabumi City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. The writer acts as an instrument for collecting data. Data analysis techniques used are according to Miles and Huberman which consists of data reduction, data display, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification. The research subjects used were grade IV B students in the 2019/2020 school year. The number of students is 20 people. The results showed how to understand mathematics in the angles material, 2 students got the highest grades and 12 students got grades less than KKM.The results revealed that the cognitive understanding ability of students in class IV B based on the first indicator can be categorized high, the second indicator is categorized high, and the third indicator can be said to be very low.

This study was designed to describe the implementation of editing internships with the approval of Yuma Library as one of the forms supporting the existence of writers in Indonesia and describing editing experiences. The research method uses qualitative descriptive with the form of words not with numbers. Editing internships are a must do for Indonesian Language Education students who take editing courses. Editing is an activity that is corrected and corrects errors in correcting books or journals. An editor is guided by KBBI (Indonesian Dictionary) and PUEBI (Indonesian Spelling General Guidelines). Editors must also learn about the latest developments in Indonesian that always get improved at all times. Authors in producing books need editors to make writing better. In this case, the editing role is very important in helping the author produce quality books

Abstract: This study analyzes textbooks based on research in biotechnology courses related to the principles of Forensic DNA discussion that need to be developed. The research method used in the development model Hanafin Peck (1988) at the beginning of the needs analysis. Research subjects were 45 biology education students who had taken Biotechnology courses. The instrument used consisted of a questionnaire distributed to students and lecturers supporting biotechnology courses and interview techniques. The results showed that in the learning process do not use textbooks and as much as 94% of students need the development of textbooks that are equipped with interesting pictures and practicum guides in them. Research results, so that the learning process becomes more directed, contextual and enjoyable Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis buku ajar berbasis hasil penelitian pada matakuliah bioteknologi terkait dengan pokok bahasan DNA Forensik yang perlu dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merujuk pada model pengembangan Hanafin Peck (1988) pada tahap awal yaitu analisis kebutuhan. Subjek penelitian adalah 45 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi yang telah mengambil matakuliah Bioteknologi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa dan dosen pengampu matakuliah bioteknologi serta teknik wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran belum menggunakan buku ajar dan sebanyak 94% mahasiswa menginginkan pengembangan buku ajar yang dilengkapi dengan gambar yang menarik dan petujuk praktikum yang didalamnya memuat hasil penelitian, sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih terarah, kontekstual dan menyenangkan.

Mastery of English as an international language is a necessity at this time. Indonesia as a member of the AEC (ASEAN Economic Community) should properly prepare for this challenge by preparing a capable and skilled generation of the nation. English is an international language that is very important for communication and connecting people with the world in various aspects including education. The government shows its seriousness in improving English language skills to the nation's generation, namely by requiring English at the educational level. In reality, there are various difficulties faced by students when learning English, especially in learners / students who are not from the English department called ESP (English for Specific Purposes) Learners. This study aims to dig deeper into the variety of difficulties faced by students in learning English in students of Indonesian Language Education Study Program at FKIP Ma'arif University NU Kebumen. This study uses a qualitative approach with questionnaire instruments, observation and indepth interview. Analysis of research data was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that research subjects face a variety of difficulties learning English, namely: 1) lack of student confidence, 2) students rarely use English in daily life and, 3) lack of vocabulary mastery.

The research about the balancing of redox reaction on chemistry subject has been done. This research was conducted on class XII IPA8 SMA Negeri 2 Palu with 28 of the student, in the first semester of the academic year 2014-2015. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative in which data processing use percentages and rating scale. The data is collected by observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. Implementation of lesson study on class XII IPA8 SMA Negeri 2 Palu is conducted in three meetings time (open class) with 3 phases; plan, do and see, respectively. Based on the results obtained every meeting by the researcher, the data activity of students is rising by 54.93, 59.86, and 74.30%. Furthermore, at the third meeting, the data obtained is an excellent category which means the student’s activity in the lesson study was increased. These prove that through the lesson study can increase the activity of the learning process of students. In addition, based on the data analysis of the student’s learning outcomes during three meeting times is increased. Average of completeness of student’s learning outcomes of every meeting is 67.85, 85.71, and 100%, respectively. Again, these prove that the student’s learning outcomes by classical can be increased through the lesson study.

This research is based on the rise of positive activities carried out by school-age children in the afternoon and the support provided by direct parents. The purpose of this study is to identify the motivations of parents and children in participating in Karate martial arts in Merauke Regency, Papua. This research method is quantitative descriptive using a questionnaire as an instrument in data collection. The research subjects included three Karate colleges, all of which involved 125 parents who were active in providing support to their children by actively delivering, waiting and picking up during training. The results obtained from this study are the motivation of parents in both boys and girls, all of which are more dominant for educational activities, the second is achievement motivation and the third is motivation for recreation. As for the motivation of children in their personal participation in Karate martial arts training is more because of the desire to learn, get to know friends, and increase relationships. Based on the data it can be concluded that the motivation of parents and children is due to educational factors.Keyword: Motivation, KarateAbstrakPenelitian ini didasari oleh maraknya kegiatan positif yang dilakukan oleh anak usia sekolah di sore hari serta dukungan yang diberikan oleh orang tua langsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi tentang hal motivasi orang tua dan anak dalam mengikuti olahraga beladiri Karate di Kabupaten Merauke Papua. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket sebagai instrumen dalam pengumpulan data. Subyek penelitian ini meliputi tiga perguruan Karate yang kesemuanya melibatkan 125 orang tua dan anak yang aktif dalam memberikan dukungan kepada putra-putrinya dengan cara aktif mengantar, menunggu dan menjemput saat latihan. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah motivasi orang tua baik pada anak laki-laki maupun anak perempuan kesemuanya lebih dominan untuk kegiatan pendidikan yang kedua adalah dorongan berprestasi dan yang ketiga adalah motivasi untuk hal rekreasi. Adapun motivasi anak secara pribadi dalam mengikuti latihan beladiri Karate lebih karena keinginan belajar, mengenal teman, serta menambah pergaulan. Berdasarkan data dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi orang tua dan anak adalah karena faktor pendidikan.Kata kunci:motivasi, berlatih karate

Mathematical competence abilities of elementary education students play an important role in the success of learning mathematics in elementary schools. The purpose of this study was to describe an increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts through a manipulative assisted investigative approach. The research subjects were students of the first semester elementary  teachers education postgrade students who took Elementary  education mathematics courses in the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a classroom action research using data collection methods in the form of observation and tests results. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction and data triangulation. The results showed that the application of investigative learning increased the ability to understand deep mathematical concepts. The manipulative assisted mathematical investigative approach increases students in carrying out exploration, making assumptions, and making conclusions.

La sélection du programme d'études par les étudiants est déterminée par leurs motivations, la motivation divise en deux types, ce sont la motivation interne et la motivation. L’objectif de cette recherche est de décrire la motivation des étudiants de choisir le programme d'éducation en français. Cette recherche est une recherche descriptive qualitative. La population de cette recherchesontles étudiants du premier semestre du programme d’études de l’enseignement du français à l’université de Semarang.La méthode de cette recherche est le questionnaire. Les questionnaires dans cette recherche utilisée la validité de la construction et pour savoir la fiabilité de l'instrument utilisé formule KR-21. Basé sur les résultats de l'analyse des données peut être conclu que les facteurs influençant la motivation des élèves à choisir un programme d'éducation en français qui est un facteur intrinsèque et un facteur extrinsèque. Les facteurs que beaucoup d'élèves choisissent pour choisir un programme d'éducation en langue française avec sous-variablessont un facteur intrinsèque. Selecting the study programs by students is determined by the motivation of each individual, the motivation can be divided into internal motivation and external motivation. Based on this background, researcher wanted to examine what are the motivations of students in choosing French education program at the Semarang State University. The purpose of this research is to describe students’ motivation in choosing French education program.This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Subjects in this research are students of French education in the first semester. Method for collecting data used in this research was questionnaire. Questionnaires in this study used the construct validity and to measure the reliability of the instrument use KR-21 formula. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that factors influencing the motivation of students in choosing French language education program that is intrinsic factor and extrinsic factor. Factors that many students choose in choosing a French language education program is an intrinsic factor.

This study aimed to examine the effect of acrostic techniques on increasing student mastery of Präpositionen, which was conducted from September to November 2020. This research was an experimental study with research subjects being college students of the German language study program in the third semester of the academic year 2020/2021. The instruments used in data collection in this study were Pre-test, and Post-test questions before and after the acrostatic technique were applied in the learning process with German prepositions. The results showed that the acrostic technique significantly affected the increasing mastery of Präpositionen college students (thit= 7.67>ttab=1.77. Therefore, Acrostic techniques are recommended for use in präpositionen learning

<p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi minat baca mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura terhadap artikel ilmiah, khususnya jurnal. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa semester 3 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura yang berjumlah 109 orang. Kuesioner digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh enam dari tujuh indikator minat membaca artikel pada jurnal ilmiah menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris tidak memiliki minat terhadap jurnal dengan persentase 86%. Indikator yang paling menunjukkan ketidakminatan mahasiswa terhadap jurnal adalah tingkat membaca artikel pada jurnal ilmiah menunjukkan 88% dari total responden tidak pernah membaca artikel pada jurnal ilmiah dalam satu semester.</p><p><strong><em><br /></em></strong></p><p align="center"><strong>Abstract </strong></p><p><strong><em></em></strong><em>The research aims to determine and identify the interest in reading English Education students of FKIP Tanjungpura University towards scientific articles, especially journals. Research using descriptive methods. The research subjects were 109 semesters 3 students of the English Language Education Study Program at Tanjungpura University. The questionnaire was used as a research data collection tool. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, obtained from six of the seven indicators of interest in reading articles in scientific journals show that English Education students have no interest in journals with a percentage of 86%. The indicator that most shows students' lack of interest in journals is the level of reading articles in scientific journals showing 88% of the total respondents never read articles in scientific journals in one semester.</em></p>
