Pre-surgery is an action before surgery, which can trigger psychological problems, such as anxiety. Spiritual strength is able to help the individual towards the healing and fulfillment of life goals. The aim of the reseach was discover the correlation between the spiritual level and anxiety in preoperative patients in the surgical inpatient units of RSUD Banyumas. This study was conducted from 12 November to 12 December 2019 in the surgical inpatient units of RSUD Banyumas. This research was a non-experimental quantitative, using a correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected by purposive sampling technique, with 72 sample respondents. The data collection technique used the HARS (Hamilton Rating Scale Anxiety) and DSES (Daily Spiritual Experience Scale questionnaires) questionnaires. The result found 27.8% of patients' preoperative anxiety level at RSUD Banyumas did not experience anxiety, 56.9% felt mild anxiety, and 15.3% suffered from moderate anxiety. Meanwhile, for the spiritual level, only 1.4% of the preoperative patients at RSUD Banyumas had a low spiritual level, 52.8% were at a moderate spiritual level, and 45.8% presented a high spiritual level. The Spearman Rank statistical test obtained p-value = 0.0001; the correlation coefficient was -0.469.  There was a correlation between the patients' spiritual level and preoperative anxiety in the surgical inpatient units of RSUD Banyumas.

Introduction: Disaster management is a dynamic, continual, and integrated process as to increase the qualities of the actions which are relevant to the process of observation and analysis of disaster as well as minimalizing the negative impacts, mitigation, readiness, early warning, immediate emergency, rehabilitation and reconstruction. The aim of this research is to analyse theconnection between disaster management and the prevention of community breakdown in order to face a volcanic eruption for every head of household. Method: The design of this research is correlational research with a cross sectional approach. The demographic group that is used for this research is the head of households in Rt 06/Rw 01 dusun Puncu desa Puncu, by using the purposive sampling technique which has been collected from the sampling of the 33 heads of households. Independent variable is the knowledge of disaster management, and the dependent variable is the prevention of community breakdown in the handling of the disaster. The data has been received by using the questionnaire, and the results have been analysed by using spearman rho test. Result:  As according to the statistics test, it is found that p-value= 0,000 on the significant level (α) = 0,05 and r = 0,752. It is concluded that there is a connection between knowledge and the prevention of community breakdown in handling of the volcanic eruption in Rt 06/Rw 01. This research shows that the level of knowledge within the community about disaster management and prevention in handling volcanic eruption has been increasing. Conclution: This is shown by the capability of the community in mitigating the effects of the disaster. It is hoped that the community will further engage in training education and simulation to reduce the negative impacts of a disaster. The location where the participants resideis Kelud Volcano, and it is therefore hoped that the communities are willing to participate in better handling of any disaster by joining the education training and simulation; Kata kunci : Pengetahuan, Manajemen bencana, Prevention.

Stress becomes one of the factors causing hypertension. The correlation of stress and hypertension occurs through sympathetic nerve activities, which can gradually increase blood pressure. Spirituality is one of coping to deal with stress. Someone who has a high spiritual level is believed that his belief and relationship with God are better. This study analyzed the correlation between spirituality and stress in hypertension patients at the Cardiology unit of dr. H. Koesnadi Hospital-Bondowoso. The variables were Spirituality and Stress. The research design was observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach with 84 respondents obtained using consecutive sampling technique. The data collection was carried out by giving the Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES) and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) questionnaire on August 14th-28th 2018. The results of analysis using the Spearman correlation test were p value = 0.001 and r = -0,429 (p <0, 05), indicated a significant correlation between spirituality and stress in hypertension patients. A person who has good spirituality can control his chronic disease and help him to manage his conditions patiently, calmly and can determine his life goals. Suggestions for nurses are to be able to provide motivation to patients to accept the disease and improve adherence to the treatment.

The performance of nurses can be seen from several cases that occur in hospitals. The incidence of falls in patients, nosocomial infections, inadequate documentation is the result of nurses' low performance. Factors that affect the performance of nurses in hospitals are job satisfaction. So this study aims to describe the relationship between job satisfaction and nurse performance. This study used a cross-sectional study design with a sample of 85 nurses at Arosuka Hospital using proportional sampling technique. The research instrument used a job satisfaction survey questionnaire and the Individual Work Performance quasi (IWPQ) and statistical tests used frequency distribution and chi-square tests. The results showed that the majority of nurses' job satisfaction was in the satisfied category as much as 56.5% and the majority of nurses' performance in the high category was 51.8%. Then obtained a significant relationship between job satisfaction and nurse performance with a p-value of 0.000. So it is expected that hospitals can pay attention to aspects of nurse job satisfaction in making policies

The emergency room is the patients’ first stop and referral in hospital. Patient service in the emergency room requires immediate services, which are effective and efficient. The success of the nurse’s response time in handling patients can prevent damage to body organs, prevent disability and reduce mortality. This study aims to undrstand the correlation between workload and the response time of the emergency room nurse at Type C hospitals in Jember Regency. This study uses a correlational research design with a cross-sectional method. The sampling technique used total sampling technique. The result of this study indicated that the workload of the nurses in the emergency room was classified as moderate and had a response time according to the standard. The data analysis used Kendall tau-c statistical test and the p-value = 0,180. In conclusion, there was no correlation between workload and the response time of the emergency room nurse at Type C hospitals in Jember Regency. It happens because there are factors that influence the nurse’s motivation, chosen examination and treatment strategies when serving the patients. Their high motivation and hardwork make their performance better. In addition, the selection of inspection strategies and appropriate handling can make the services of the patients effective and efficient.

Effective leadership is required by the head of the room to create a good performance on nurses to achieve the purpose of the room is provide good and quality health serviceThis study aims to determine the effective leadership of head room with the performance of nurses in nursing care at RSU. Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam. Researchers used descriptive research method correlation with cross-sectional approach. The population in this study nurse who was on duty in the inpatient unit RSU. Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam totaling 55 people. The sample in this study used a total sampling technique with 55 respondents. The data collection technique using a questionnaire given to respondents. The results of this study are analyzed in univariate effective leadership of head room (81.8%) with sufficient performance of nurses (50.9%). After bivariate analysis with chi-square test showed that there is a relationship effective leadership of head room with the performance of nurses (p-value = 0.003). This study recommends that the head of the room more attention to implementation of the tasks of nursing care by nurses, as well as providing support in working order, the better the performance of nurses.   Kepemimpinan efektif diperlukan oleh kepala ruangan dalam menciptakan kinerja yang baik pada perawat pelaksana untuk mencapai tujuan ruangan yaitu memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang baik dan berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan efektif kepala ruangan dengan kinerja perawat dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan di RSU. Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh perawat pelaksana yang sedang bertugas RSU Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam berjumlah 55  responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 55. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang  diberikan kepada responden. Uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara univariat yaitu kepemimpinan kepala ruangan efektif (81,8%) dengan kinerja perawat cukup (50,9%). Setelah dilakukan analisis bivariat dengan uji chi-square didapatkan hasil yaitu ada hubungan kepemimpinan efektif kepala ruangan dengan kinerja perawat (p-value=0,003). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar kepala ruangan lebih memperhatikan pelaksanaan tugas asuhan keperawatan oleh perawat, serta memberikan dukungan dalam bekerja agar kinerja perawat semakin baik.

Abstract Hypertension is a major problem as a risk factor for death in cardiovascular disease caused by genetic and lifestyle factors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between hypertension and lifestyle in Poja Village, Gapura District. This study used a cross sectional analytic design. The population in this study were 73 people. The sampling technique was simple random sampling and data analysis used the Chi Square test, the data collection technique used online questionnaire forms (google forms). Chi square test results obtained P value = 0.001 <a (0.05), which means that there is a relationship between hypertension and lifestyle in Poja Village, Gapura District. Introduction: Adherence in ARV therapy is an important mechanism in preventing drug resistance. The level of adherence is influenced by several factors, one of which is the information skills factor. This study aims to analyze the relationship between information skills and ARV adherence in People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).Method: This was a cross-sectional approach with a sample size of 100 respondents who were selected through simple random sampling technique. The inclusion criteria for respondents were PLWHA who were undergoing ARV therapy, cooperative, aged 20-60 years. The instrument used was information skills questionnaire and Medical Adherence Rating Scale (MARS). The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and logistic regression test with p value ≤ 0.05.Results: Information skills were  associated with ARV adherence (p = 0.01). Information skills consisting of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and ARV therapy can increase ARV adherence in PLWHA with indicators taking drugs regularly and have medical control on schedule.Conclusions: The information skills factor has an effect on ARV adherence. Increasing information skills can be done through educational activities or peer-group support aimed at gaining insight into disease and treatment, especially for newly diagnosed PLWHA.

 AbstractIntroduction : Menarche is the first occurrence of menstruation in the female. The more developing times, the age of menarche is getting earlier. Currently, the average teenage girls have menarche at 11 years old. With psychologically and emotionally unstable and insufficient knowledge of elementary school students, teenage girls are required to be ready for having menarche. Therefore, the readiness in facing menarche is essential to be studied to measure self-readiness if menarche suddenly comes to elementary school students. Furthermore, the knowledge factor, especially about menarche, is important to be conducted a measurement to find out whether there is a relation with readiness in facing menarche in students. Method: This study used an observational analytics method with a cross-sectional design. The number of samples was 53 students, and the sampling technique used the total sampling. The independent variable is knowledge, and the dependent variable is the readiness in facing menarche. This study was conducted on 4th-grade and 5th-grade students in SDN (State Elementary School) Kalurip Purworejo. The data collection technique of the study was conducted online using questionnaires, which were distributed in personal chat to the students and the students' guardians through the Google Form link. The data analysis used the chi-square test. Results: The results of the study show that students' knowledge is in the lack category (52.8%), and students are in the not ready category (62.3%) in facing menarche. The results of the chi-square test show the p-value of 0.000001 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and readiness in facing menarche. The less knowledge the more unprepared it is in facing menarche.

Background : Suyati et al (2011) conducted a study on the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about the delivery process and the level of anxiety in facing childbirth. It was found that out of 48 pregnant women, 13 pregnant women (27.1%) had sufficient knowledge and experienced severe anxiety. This is because the understanding of a pregnant woman to know the process of childbirth is very important because pregnant women often have disturbing thoughts, as a development of an anxiety reaction to the stories they get. A number of fears arise in the third trimester. Pregnant women will feel anxious about the life of the baby and his own life, such as: whether the baby will be born normally. The purpose of this study is the relationship between work and the anxiety of primigravida pregnant women trimester III in dealing with childbirth. Method : The design in this study was cross sectional. The research was carried out at Puskesmas Batu Aji. The population in this study were all trimester III primigravida pregnant women who visited and performed ANC examinations. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire sheet and a check list. To measure the level of anxiety using the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A). Chi-Square hypothesis test. Result : Research Results From the results of the chi-square calculation, the p-value is 0.571, which means that the p-value is ≥ 0.05. Conclusion : The conclusion is that there is a relationship between work and the anxiety of primigravida pregnant women trimester III in dealing with childbirth

One of adolescence’s problems is uncontrolable sexual drive. It was expected that the students of Islamic boarding school have a sexual driving better than students of common school. But, sexuality problem among boarding school’s student is similar with student in common school. Good sexual driving can protect the students from negative impacts of sexual activity. Sexual driving is influenced by parent’s role and student activity. This study aimed to analyse the relationship between parent’s role and student activity with sexual driving of female student in islamic boarding school in Sukoharjo City. The research was taken on April, 2019. The subjects were 107 students in the age of 10–18 who study at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Pondok Pesantren X andY, Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Research method is cross-sectional. Sampling technique was stratified random sampling, whereas data collection technique is interview using questionnaire. The data were a analyzed with chi-square (p value < 0,005). The result showed that parent’s role has significant relationship with sexual driving (p value < 0,005), whereas activity do not have relationship with sexual driving (p value > 0,05). Parent’s role was giving direction to their children to have good behavior. Student who has good faith will avoid something that prohibited in Islam. Although student of Islamic Boarding School has leisure time, regulation of Islamic boarding school makes them are avoided from negative sexual activity.
