This community service aims to improve the knowledge and skills of PAUD teachers specifically software-based and android interactive learning in Simalungun District. This dedication was held during July 2019. This activity was carried out in two days, starting at 08.00- 11.30 WIB (first session), 14.00- 16.30 WIB (second session), on Saturdays, 20 and 27 July 2019, the location of the service was held in kindergarten Sandy Putra Pematangsiantar. The target of this activity is PAUD teachers in Simalungun District. The reason for the selection of service locations was deliberations from representatives of PAUD partner management in Simalungun District. For teachers, PAUD provides transportation to be taken to the location of the service given that this activity has a responsibility for PAUD teachers in educating the children of the nation in the industrial revolution era 4.0. The method used in the implementation is with presentations / lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and simulations / exercises. The results of this community service activity showed that of the 40 participants, PAUD teachers were able to answer all questions with a number of questions 45% (18 participants) after conducting training which previously were only able to answer 9 questions correctly as many as 13% (5 participants) before being asked for training. Therefore, in the future it is expected that further training can be carried out by PAUD teachers so that they can utilize knowledge more optimally and implement it more easily by their students.

This community service aims to improve the knowledge and skills of storytelling for teachers and parents of PAUD students in Pulantan Village, Aluh-Aluh sub-district. This dedication was held on Thursday, March 22, 2018, in PAUD Makanatut Talibin. The target of this activity is PAUD teachers and student parents/guardians. The reason for choosing this school is because the schools are classified as far from the city center and include the villages built by the PKH program. The method used in the implementation is by presentation/lecture and storytelling simulation/training. After this activity was carried out, it was concluded that storytelling had not become a habit and approach to the formation of children's character both by teachers and parents. This is because teachers and parents have very little ability in storytelling. Therefore, in the future, it is hoped that further training will be carried out by involving more teachers and parents and bringing in speakers who are more competent in storytelling such as Mother Enik Mintarsih, a storyteller from South Kalimantan.

As an effort to improve the knowledge and skills of rural breeders, community service activities have been carried out with the topic "Training on Feed Processing from Agricultural Waste in Moyo Mekar Village of Moyo Hilir Sumbawa." This service activity was held on the grounds that breeders in Moyo Mekar Village often experience difficulties to meet the needs of their livestock for forage, especially during the dry season, so this sometimes has an unwanted negative impact, such as the occurrence of cases of death and disease in livestock as a result of the declining condition of the livestock. This is due to the ignorance of the breeders in their efforts to overcome the shortage of forage during the dry season. This community service activity has been carried out using three methods, namely lecture, written and demonstration methods. With the lecture method, it was conveyed about the understanding and explanation of how to preserve and treat agricultural waste. Through the written method, it is conveyed by giving brochures to the breeder members. Meanwhile, with the demonstration method, the breeders directly practice ways of preserving and treating agricultural waste. Based on the results of monitoring during the activity, the results of questions and answers and the enthusiasm of the participants, it was seen that the new breeders realized how important the role of nutrition was for livestock, the availability of applying preservation and feed processing technology, and it could also be seen that they had no difficulty in adopting the material provided, then Overall this activity can be said to be quite successful. Recognizing the limitations of the breeders in terms of preservation and processing of feed which is an alternative for providing feed in the dry season, it is suggested that this kind of activity should be continued so that the expected livestock production can be achieved.

Purpose: To introduce the AKB method journal to students of the Faculty of Law, University of Borneo Tarakan. Methods: This community service activity was divided into several stages: the planning and implementation stages. It also used questions and answers. Results: As students still use old techniques that are based on background, problem formulation, research, and suggestions, therefore this technique is beneficial for students to conduct better research in the future. The problems faced by the children of Banjarmasin Al-Ashr Orphanage are almost the same as those faced by other orphanages in the city of Banjarmasin, namely, lack funds and personnel or volunteers who help and guide orphanage children to develop their skills and creativity as a provision in carrying out life after the completion of the orphanage. The purpose of this community service program is to make the children of the Al-Ashr Orphanage have a strong and more independent motivation by providing them with the knowledge and skills they will use to prepare themselves for the future. While the target of this activity is to make the children of the Al-Ashr Orphanage have design skills in making invitations, brochures, and banners as well as online businesses. The method used is training and guidance, where training is carried out with presentations and practices.

Cassava is a type of plant that is easy to grow in various types of soil, and its cultivation method is relatively easy. The stems, leaves, and tubers of cassava have various benefits for human life. Limited knowledge and skills regarding the diversification of cassava-based processed products are an obstacle for which solutions must be sought. The purpose of this service activity is to empower the community, especially partners/target groups, through training on processing cassava into raw materials for processed food products. Community service activities carried out using training/mentoring and demonstrations/practices are one of the solutions that can be carried out for community empowerment. The results of community service activities show that all participants (100%) can actively participate in receiving all the knowledge and skills transferred and are interested in doing it themselves at home (100%). Processed products in the form of cassava flour will be consumed by themselves (77%) and sold (23%) with processed food products of cassava lunkhead (89%) and cassava noodles (11%), which were of high interest. This data shows that community service activities carried out by Palangka Raya University can contribute and become a solution to overcome problems faced by the community.

 Abstrak  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan lanjutan dari program sebelumnya, dimana dilakukan pelatihan terkait penerapan teknologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa atau disingkat TELL (Technology in Language Learning). Seiring berkembangnya lembaga-lembaga kursus yang jumlahnya semakin banyak, terutama di wilayah Bangkalan. Banyak siswa-siswi mulai dari tingkat sekolah dasar sampai menengah atas mendaftar dan mengikuti program-program yang ditawarkan oleh lembaga kursus. Tren inilah yang menjadi dasar terpilihnya lembaga kursus sebagai tempat melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Penerapan audiobook lit2go di lembaga kursus  Bahasa Inggris ini dilakukan oleh para tutor di lembaga kursus E-Home untuk membantu proses pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran, yang nantinya diharapkan bisa meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya kemampuan pengajar Bahasa Inggris di lembaga kursus dalam menggunakan teknologi saat pembelajaran, dalam hal ini penggunaan audiobook lit2go.  Kata kunci: Audiobook Lit2go, Tell, Pembelajaran, Teknologi   Abstract    This community service activity is a continuation of the previous program, where training is carried out related to the application of technology in language learning called TELL (Technology in Language Learning). As the number of course institutions grows, especially in the Bangkalan region. Many students ranging from elementary to high school level register and participate in programs offered by institute courses. This trend is the basis for the selection of course institutions as a place to do community service. The application of lit2go audiobook at English language course institutions is carried out by tutors at E-Home course institutions to assist the learning process by utilizing learning technology, which in turn is expected to improve student learning outcomes. The objective of this community service activity / PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) is to provide knowledge to participants (parents and children) about the importance of character education from early age through the family. This program was motivated by problems that happens in society in Ngusikan, Jombang, East Java, children in that area addicted to play gadgets and have a tendency to anti-social behavior and lack of social courtesy. The method in this program used a dialogical collaborative-participatory approach includes in-house training (lectures, questions and answers, discussions) for the delivery of material, direct practice to make storytelling media, testing, practice of using fairy tale media and mentoring assisted by KKNT students. The number of participants in this program is approximately 40 participants, including students. This community service activity (PKM) was followed by women who have job as a housewife. The participants stated that this activity was very useful and was a new experience. This community service activity went well and was greeted with enthusiasm from the participants..

OPTIMIZING THE SWEET POTATOES’ POTENTIAL IN SINDANGKARYA VILLAGE, MENES SUB-DISTRICT, PANDEGLANG REGENCY. Sweet potato is one of the agricultural commodities that is suitable for cultivation in Sindangkarya village, Pandeglang Regency. Each year, Sindangkarya village produces 350 tonnes of sweet potato. However, the low price of sweet potato causes small income for the residents. One of the efforts to increase its selling value is processing sweet potatoes into various products such as sweet potato cake or various other processed products. The problem founded is that people do not have the knowledge and skills of sweet potatoes utilization. The purpose of this community service activity is to transfer knowledge and train the community skills in processing sweet potatoes so they will have a higher selling value and attract the buyers. This article concludes that Sindangkarya Village has a business potential that involves the participants, PKK Cadres, Posyandu Cadres and Youth Organization developing creative ideas to make valuable products and beneficial to the lives of Sindangkarya residents and can reduce unemployment.

Abstrak Sebagai agent of change mahasiswa dituntut tidak hanya memiliki ilmu dan keahlian sesuai dengan bidangnya, tetapi juga siap untuk terjun ke dalam masyarakat mengimplementasikan ilmu dan keterampilan yang mereka milliki, membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan riil yang sedang dihadapi masyarakat atau memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat supaya mereka bisa hidup lebih baik. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan tersebut institut teknologi sepuluh nopember (ITS) menyelenggarakan program kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) kepada mahasiswa. Sesuai dengan wilayah keilmuan mahasiswa yang berbasis pada teknologi dan aplikasinya, maka kegiatan KKN juga bertema teknologi serta aplikasinya sehingga kegiatan-kegiatan KKN di dalam masyarakat juga tidak lepas dari tema teknologi dan aplikasinya. Dengan demikian, KKN ITS menjadi sarana yang tepat untuk membantu masyarakat menghadapi era revolusi industri sekarang ini di mana teknologi dan aplikasinya menjadi inti keberlangsungannya. Kata Kunci: pemberdayaan masyarakat, KKN tematik, penerapan teknologi, revolusi industri Abstract As agents of change, students are required not only to have knowledge and expertise in their fields, but they must also be ready to be in the community to implement the knowledge and skills they have, help solve real problems faced by the community or provide knowledge and skills to the community so they can lead better life. To meet these goals, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November (ITS) conducted community service program (KKN) for students to communities. In line with ITS students’ background, the themes of KKN were related with technology and its applications, so that the KKN activities in the community were also inseparable from the theme of technology and its application. Thus, KKN ITS is the right medium to help the community in facing the current era of the industrial revolution in which technology and its application serve as its core. Training in making woven models as a medium for learning art and culture and this workshop aims to train skills: making woven models from asturo paper to improve the quality of visual art learning in elementary schools. Training methods by providing individual practice guidance to weaving skills directly to 20 elementary school teachers. The results of this community service activity are (1) non-physical for elementary school teachers in cluster 3 Donowarih Karangploso are very interested in getting art training and are willing to disseminate knowledge and skills to other teachers in their assignments. (2) individual trainees are skilled in making woven shapes of fish, flying birds, stars, baskets, and ribbon-shaped woven frames. Pelatihan pembuatan model karya anyaman sebagai media pembelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya ini bertujuan melatih keterampilan: membuat model-model anyaman dari kertas asturo untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran senirupa di SD. Metode pelatihan dengan memberikan bimbingan praktek individu keterampilan menganyam secara langsung kepada 20 guru SD. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah (1) non-fisik bagi guru-guru SD di gugus 3 Donowarih Karangploso sangat berminat mendapat pelatihan senirupa-prakarya, dan bersedia untuk menyebarluaskan  pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada guru lain di tempat tugasnya. (2) peserta pelatihan secara individu terampil membuat anyaman bentuk ikan, burung terbang, bintang, keranjang (besek), dan anyaman pita bentuk pigura.
