ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to provide education about household waste utilization through waste banks in schools. The method used in this community service activity is training and mentoring on how to use waste and manage waste through a waste banks. The results of this activity show: (1) increasing students' insights about household waste utilization by composting and liquid fertilizer training; (2) students and schools get experience on waste bank management; (3) through the management of a waste banks, transactions that occur reach Rp.2,231,030 in SMP Negeri 2, and Rp. 138,000 at SDN 08 Tarakan. The evaluation of this activity is based on the number of customers and the value of the transaction. So the model of managing a waste banks in junior high schools can be applied, but it is not recommended for primary schools in Tarakan City. Keyword: Waste, School, waste banks. ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang pemanfaatan sampah rumah tangga melalui bank sampah di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yakni pelatihan dan pendampingan bagaimana pemanfaatan sampah dan pengelolaan sampah melalui bank sampah. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan: (1) meningkatnya wawasan siswa tentang pemanfaatan sampah rumah tangga dengan pelatihan kompos dan pupuk cair; (2) siswa dan pihak sekolah mendapatkan pengalaman tentang pengelolaan bank sampah; (3) melalui pengelolaan bank sampah, transaksi yang terjadi mencapai Rp 2.231.030 di SMP Negeri 2, dan Rp. 138.000 di SDN 08 Tarakan. Evaluasi kegiatan ini berdasarkan jumlah nasabah dan nilai transaksi. Jadi model pengelolaan bank sampah di SMP dapat diterapkan, namun tidak direkomensasikan untuk sekolah dasar di Kota Tarakan. Kata Kunci: Sampah, Sekolah, Bank Sampah.

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat merupakan salah satu cara supaya mahasiswa Universitas Trilogi memiliki keterampilan bermasyarakat. Khalayak  sasaran  dari  pengabdian  ini  adalah  masyarakat RW 09 di  desa Ciasihan. Kegiatan pengabdian  telah  dilaksanakan  pada  tanggal  11 Agustus-11 September yang  bertempat  di desa Ciasihan Kecamatan Pamijahan Kabupaten Bogor, dengan diikuti oleh seluruh masyarakat RW 09. Dari  hasil  evaluasi  diperoleh  hasil  dan  manfaat  dari  kegiatan  pengabdian  ini diantaranya adalah meningkatkan motivasi masyarakat akan pentingnya koperasi, dan pentingnya akan pemanfaatan sampah organik  menjadi pupuk. Kegiatan pengabdian  ini  berjalan  dengan  lancar,  karena  berbagai  pendukung  terutama  partisipasi peserta yang cukup antusias dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembentukan koperasi.. Tujuan  kegiatan  pengabdian  kepada  masyarakat  ini,  yang  dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pembentukan koperasi adalah memotivasi masyarakat akan pentingnya koperasi, dan pentingnya akan pemanfaatan sampah organik  menjadi pupuk. Selain itu, Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini merupakan wahana bagi mahasiswa Universitas Trilogi untuk mengabdikan keilmuannya.Kata Kunci: Pembentukan Koperasi, Masyarakat RW 09Community service activities are one way for Trilogy University students to have social skills. The target audience of this service is the community of RW 09 in Ciasihan village. Community service activities were carried out on 11 August-11 September in Ciasihan Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency, followed by all RW 09 people. From the results of the evaluation, the results and benefits of this service were obtained, including increasing community motivation for the importance of cooperatives, and the importance of using organic waste into fertilizer. This service activity went smoothly, due to various supporters, especially the participation of enthusiastic participants and actively participating in cooperative formation activities. Abstract This Integrated Community Service Activity Real Work Lecture aims to revitalize school waste banks in designing sustainable environmental education models based on appropriate technology. Environmental education is expected to be obtained by junior high school students through the waste bank extracurricular program. Environmental education to be achieved is focused on managing and utilizing waste to produce environmental products into strategic activities that can be developed, in collaboration with successful waste banks. The method of implementation is in the form of observation and FGD conducted in SMP Negeri 9 and SMP Negeri 21 Bekasi City. Through this activity, various problems experienced by SMP Negeri 9 and SMP Negeri 21 Bekasi City were formulated in re-activating the school waste bank program. Based on the series of activities from FGD to simulation, it can be concluded that school leaders, environmental extracurricular coaches, and students of SMP Negeri 9 and SMP Negeri 21 Bekasi City really hope that waste management activities in their respective schools can be reactivated. Considering that the activities are still in a pandemic atmosphere, the reactivation of the school waste bank is carried out in conjunction with the restructuring of the extracurricular environmental management in their respective schools. Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Terintegrasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata ini bertujuan untuk melakukan revitalisasi bank sampah sekolah dalam mendesain model pendidikan lingkungan berkelanjutan berbasis teknologi tepat guna. Pendidikan lingkungan diharapkan dapat diperoleh oleh siswa SMP melalui program ekstrakulikuler bank sampah. Pendidikan lingkungan yang ingin dicapai difokuskan pada pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan sampah sampai menghasilkan produk lingkungan menjadi kegiatan strategis yang dapat dikembangkan, bekerjasama dengan bank sampah yang sudah sukses. Metode pelaksanaan berupa observasi dan FGD yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 9 dan SMP Negeri 21 Kota Bekasi. Melalui kegiatan ini dirumuskan berbagai permasalahan yang dialami oleh SMP Negeri 9 dan SMP Negeri 21 Kota Bekasi dalam mengaktifkan kembali program bank samapah sekolah. Berdasarkan rangkaian kegiatan dari mulai FGD sampai simulasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pimpinan sekolah, Pembina ekstrakulikuler lingkungan, dan siswa SMP Negeri 9 dan SMP Negeri 21 Kota Bekasi sangat berharap agar kegiatan pengelolaan sampah di sekolah masing-masing dapat diaktifkan kembali. Mengingat kegiatan masih dalam suasana pandemi maka pengaktifan kembali bank sampah sekolah dilakukan bersamaan dengan restukturisasi pengurus ektrakulikuler lingkungan di sekolah masing-masing.

A clean and healthy tourist village is the main attraction for visitors because the beautiful and clean environment makes visitors feel comfortable. Based on the results of the FGD conducted by the University of Bengkulu LPPM in the village of Rindu Hati, several problems were found, such as the cleanliness of the village, the absence of a garbage disposal site. This of course can cause various problems for visitors and the community, one of which can affect public health and the environment. Efforts that can be made are the Guidance of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS). The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education to the Rindu Hati village community so that they can maintain environmental cleanliness and health through the proper and correct application of PHBS, increase community knowledge and skills in managing household waste and environmental waste, and improve community skills in disease management. environmental impacts and independently in preventing and overcoming the health problems it faces. The methods used are: health education about waste management, training to utilize waste. The participants who took part in this activity were 50 people consisting of environmental groups, PKK cadres, health cadres, village officials, and housewives. The results of this community service activity show an increase in community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and health, this can be seen from the community's ability to implement PHBS and utilize waste that has economic value.

Waste is a problem that must be faced by residential communities both in urban and rural settlements, so it needs to be systematically structured and sustainable. Conventional waste handling that has been implemented by the community cannot produce an appropriate solution, this is evident that there is still a large volume of waste that has not been managed properly. The purpose of implementing community service activities in the village of Sedapurklagen in Benjeng Gresik is to utilize household waste through compoter and biopori as well as the application of Biopori to treat household waste that can also reduce waterlogging during rain. The implementation method is used so that the purpose of this service activity is to empower the community about managing household waste to be composted through composter, as well as training on composting from composter and biopori. The target of this activity is the mothers of family welfare coaching (PKK) in the village of Sedapurklagen, Benjeng Gresik. The result of this service is that the community has begun to process organic waste to make compost and million biopori pipes around the Posapur, Sedapurklagen Gresik to reduce the presence of standing water during the rainy season.

The waste bank is an innovative method to increase knowledge and behaviour to manage household waste. As a collective action at the community level, social capital has a vital role in the management of the waste bank. This study aims to identify and analyse how the level of trust, network, and social norms play a role in creating a sustainable, community-based waste bank management. This research used the qualitative approach and descriptive method. The data collection techniques were carried out using observations, literature studies, and in-depth interviews. The data were analysed using a qualitative-descriptive technique. The study shows that The Lintas Winongo Waste Bank is a community-based waste bank because it was established and managed by community members in RW 11, Bumijo Urban Village, Yogyakarta City. The manager of Lintas Winongo Waste Bank collaborates with several actors to support the management of the waste bank. The Lintas Winongo Waste bank management requires trust between the actors because it is related to the flow of money. The trust between the actors is built through the transparency of the waste bank management process. The network has a role in exchanging information and providing access to various resources required. The strategies to build networking with the actors are communication, shared understanding regarding the purpose of the waste bank, and a shared commitment to support the waste bank management. The social norms are required to maintain the transparency process and trust between the actors. Moreover, the social norm can build awareness of the citizens to manage domestic waste.

Ciangsana Village, Gunung Putri sub-district, Bogor district has carried out independent waste management. There are two waste banks there, the Cantik waste banks in RW 20 and the Cinta Waste Bank in RW 21. This waste bank has also spurred local communities to process organic kitchen waste independently, but the processing results in the form of compost require more use. Continue to maintain its sustainability, especially in RW 20. The Community Service Program (PkM) majoring in Landscape Architecture coordinate and consult to create a living apothecary design model on the land around Bank Cantik and explain making it and structuring it into a park in activities counseling. The benefits felt from this PKM activity can be seen based on a questionnaire distributed to PKM participants: representatives of the Waste Bank management, PKK women, and RW management (RW heads and secretaries). The results of this PkM show that of all the participants' statements, 96% described that modeling was beneficial for the participants. Still, one participant did not need assistance in applying the design model in the field.

ST. Kertha Budi Luhur is the youth organization of the Kayumas Kelod traditional banjar which was founded around 1995. One of the social activities of the Sekaa Teruna is to focus on environmental and waste issues. Related to the issue of waste ST. Kertha Budi Luhur plans to establish a waste bank. The waste bank is an alternative solution that can be done by the community in terms of waste management or management. Waste banks can increase public participation to care more about the waste they produce daily, besides that, with the existence of waste banks, the community can get economic value feedback. Therefore, in this community service, socialization and training were carried out on how to form a waste bank. This community service activity is broadly divided into initial socialization activities aimed at providing initial information about waste banks and technical training activities aimed at providing a more detailed explanation of the waste bank operations, from sorting waste to working with garbage collectors. Increased awareness of waste management by 85% of ST members Kertha Budi Luhur after the training.

The role of the Waste Bank became important with the issuance of Government Regulation (PP) No. 8 of 2012 concerning Management of Household Waste and Household-Like Waste. The Semamung village waste bank is a waste bank that is still active and productive compared to other waste banks in Sumbawa. Therefore, this study aims to determine community participation and the factors that influence the level of community participation in Semamung Village, Sumbawa Regency in waste bank management. The data collection technique used purposive sampling technique with qualitative methods. Based on the results of research that has been carried out in Semamung Village, from about 478 Heads of Families (KK), only about 18 households are still active in participating in the Friends of Semamung Village Waste Bank and the factors that influence community participation in the Semamung Village Friends Waste Bank program are the number of family members, gender, age difference, and low socialization carried out by the management of the Semamung Village Friends Waste Bank. This study concludes that the participation of the Semamung Village community in the Friends Waste Bank program is still relatively very low.

THE PROCESSING OF HOUSEHOLD WASTE INTO VARIOUS TYPES OF LOCAL MICRO ORGANISMS (LMO) LIQUID FERTILIZERS IN PUDAK VILLAGE, KUMPEH ULU DISTRICT, MUARO JAMBI REGENCY. Household waste such as leftover rice and vegetables can be used as a major component in producing Local Micro Organism (LMO). Local Micro Organism has many advantages, including being used as liquid organic fertilizer, as a decomposer in compost processing, as well as being used as bio-pesticides. The purpose of this community service project was to help the people, particularly farmers, in Pudak Village in producing LMO liquid fertilizer by providing them with relevant knowledge and technology. The technology was developed by utilizing of leftover rice and vegetables which are normally treated as unwanted household wastes. This LMO liquid fertilizer is very much needed by farmers to increase their farm output since it was proven to be able to improve plant growth and development, which in turn increase farm production eventually. In addition, this liquid fertilizer can also be sold and resulting in additional income for farmer household, and village community in general. Finally, as is stated in the objective, this community service program has produced output in the form of LMO liquid fertilizer, which then can be applied on farmers’ field.

Background: Garbage is one of the unsolved problems in Indonesia. Riskesdas data for 2018 show that 63.2% of the quality of household waste management in Indonesia is in a bad category. The landfill site in Magetan Regency is currently overloaded. The waste bank is an alternative solution for solving problems. Tawanganom Village, Magetan District, Magetan Regency, won the Regency Level Healthy Village Competition in 2017 with fifth community association (RW 5) as the competition representative because it fulfilled the criteria of the championship, namely the existence of a waste bank. It is inseparable from the active role and social support of community leaders who motivate the community to participate in waste bank management. Objectives:  Describe the role of community leaders as motivators in supporting waste bank management, including emotional support, appreciation, instrumental, and information. Methods: The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. In-depth interviews were conducted with informants consisting of housewives and community leaders involved in waste bank activities. The determination of informants was carried out purposively with in-depth interviews using an interview guide. Results: It shows that the role of community leaders as motivators significantly affects the sustainability of the waste bank in RW 5, Tawanganom Village, Magetan Regency. Community leaders show patience in guiding the community, providing appreciation and various rewards so that the community feels proud and appreciated, and enables the community to move independently in managing the waste bank. Conclusion: The role of community leaders as motivators impacts increasing community participation in waste bank management. The waste bank can run smoothly, supported by the attention and concern of the local government and community leaders who are aggressively providing information and suggestions related to waste bank management.
