The development of Islamic economics in banking practices in society develops innovatively. Various sharia banking products have become the people's choice in supporting their daily economic activities. The same thing also happened to students. The purpose of study is to analyze the religiosity effect of students' interest in saving for Islamic banking with knowledge as intervening variable. Multiple linear regression is an analytical technique used here, with hypothesis testing and path analysis to support its conclusions. The result of this study is that the level of religiosity significantly effects on students' interest in saving for Islamic banking with positive relationship. Likewise, knowledge is able mediate the relationship between the religiosity variable and students' interest in saving.

Sharia banking is currently very popular with the Indonesian people, so to prepare for this increasingly selective business competition, Islamic Commercial Banks are required to improve their company performance so that investors are attracted to invest. This study aims to determine the effect of BOPO, ROA, NPF, and DPK on the market share of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The samples used were BUS and UUS with 52 data. Multiple linear regression is used as an analysis technique to produce a detailed description of the relationship of each variable used. The regression results tell that BOPO and DPK have no significant effect on market share, while ROA and NPF have a positive and significant effect on market share in Islamic banking in Indonesia.

This research was conducted to investigate the effect of banking performance on stock returns as moderated by corporate governance. The population used in the study were all banks listed on the IDX for the period 2015-2019. The sample in this study were 30 banks selected using purposive sampling method. The analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS 25 and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis and moderating regression analysis (MRA). The results of this study indicate that banking performance in the form of LDR, CAR, and ROA partially and simultaneously affects stock returns, NPL partially and simultaneously has no effect on stock returns, governance is able to moderate the relationship between LDR, CAR, and ROA on stock returns, but unable to moderate the relationship between NPL and stock returns.

This study was conducted aimed at examining the effect of companies’ liquidity and leverage on their overinvestment. Surplus liquidity can affect the financial behavior of companies and accompany them in generating overinvestment in projects. Likewise, the increase in capital of the companies can play a significant role in increasing their leverage. This study sought to answer two main questions: 1) what effect does companies’ leverage have on overinvestment in projects, and 2) what effect does companies’ liquidity have on the relationship between leverage and overinvestment? In this causal-comparative study, the analysis was performed on the basis of panel data and multiple linear regression. Data from 118 companies was collected during 2013-2017. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were performed using EXEL and EVIEWS software. According to the findings, there was a significant relationship between companies’ liquidity and leverage with overinvestment. In addition, the results indicated that companies’ liquidity had no effect on the relationship between leverage and overinvestment

Abstract This study was conducted to describe the factors that lead to misbehaviour in class according to students’ perception in University Technology Mara (UiTM) Seremban 3. 372 students were surveyed regarding their perception of the factors that lead to misbehaviour in class. There are five factors that the researchers want to study, which are the lecturer’s personality, student’s lifestyle, influence from social media, students’ time management, and facilities. These five variables were chosen to determine the factors that lead to misbehaviour in class which is the main objective. To achieve the main objective of this study, Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) analysis will be used to come out with the result. Results show that three factors lead to misbehaviour in class. These factors are the lecturer’s personality, influence from social media and students’ time management. Other than that, there are several methods to achieve other research objectives. The Spearman correlation method was used to analyse the relationship between the factors that affect the students’ perceptions of misbehaviour in class. The analysis shows that the relationship for lecturer’s personality has a moderate positive relationship. In contrast, the other four factors, such as students’ lifestyle, influence from social media, students’ time management and facilities, have a weak positive relationship with students’ perception of misbehaviour in class. Moreover, the Kruskal Wallis test was used to identify the final objective, identifying the differences in students’ perceptions between different faculties in UiTM Seremban 3. The result shows that all students in the three faculties have the same perceptions of factors leading to misbehaviour in class. In conclusion, this study helps higher education organisations identify what makes students misbehave in class. Based on the results, organizations may know how to decrease misbehaviour cases among students. For these students, the administration needs to focus on the lecturer’s personality, influence from media social, and students’ time management in reducing the misbehaviour problem.

Background: People with type 2 DM are at risk of experiencing depression, which in turn can affect their self-care activities. Recent evidence has shown that social support is beneficial in reducing the risk of depression and positively affecting increases in self-care activities. However, the role of social support in the relationship between depressive symptoms and self-care activities has not been studied. This study aims to determine the mediating effects of social support on the relationship between depressive symptoms and self-care activities of people with type 2 DM.Design and methods: A cross-sectional consecutive sampling approach was used with 94 respondents with type 2 diabetes in East Jakarta, Indonesia, who were undergoing diabetes treatments during May–June 2020. The instruments used were the Centre for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression Scale (CES-D), Summary of Diabetes Self Care Activities (SDSCA), and Duke-UNC Functional Social Support Questionnaire (DUFSSQ). All three questionnaires have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression, path analysis, and the Sobel test. Results: The results of multiple linear regression analysis on the variables age, sex, education level, socioeconomic status, duration of type 2 DM, and complications of type 2 DM showed that only complications of type 2 diabetes affected self-care activities (p = 0,000; R2 = 0.515). The results of the path analysis and Sobel test showed that social support significantly mediated the effects of the relationship between depressive symptoms and self-care activities (z = -0,162 > table 1.96; direct effect = -0,499; indirect effect = -0,0789; total effect = 40, 3%).Conclusions: Screening for depressive symptoms and interventions involving social support are strongly suggested for patients with type 2 DM who are suspected of showing a decline in self-care activities.

The purpose of this study was to (1) test the effects of various demographic and socioeconomic variables on perceived stress among bank managers in both work and nonwork environments and (2) to ascertain whether the correlation is significant between perceived stress in the work and nonwork environments among the same bank managers. Significant differences were found between genders, among management levels, and among age groups. A multiple linear regression test showed a positive relationship between perceived stress at work and away from work.

The purpose of the research was to know the affect of many factors which affected to the production volume in PT. Kelola Mina Laut Gresik. What the price of raw materials was and the used of raw materials partially and simultan eously affected on the production volume. The analysis tool which used was a model of multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing used t test and F test, both at the significant level 5%. Based of the analysis of research on PT Kelola Mina Laut Gresik. Partially, inventory raw material price had not significant effect on the production volume, consumption of raw material inventory affected significantly of the production volume. Inventory of raw material price and the use of raw material simultan eously affect significantly to the production volume.
