Background : Exclusive breastfeeding is breastfeeding alone without additional food, including water during breastfeeding, except for medical indications. Breast milk and baby stimulation support optimal health, growth and development of babies. Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended as long as it is still sufficient for the baby's needs, breastfeeding has an effect on brain development, and is effective in improving children's cognitive understanding, but exclusive breastfeeding has not reached the expected target. The aim of this research is; (1) Provide learning about lactation management and infant stimulation, (2) To determine the effect of the workshop on the knowledge and skills of Family Welfare Empowerment (FWE) mothers regarding lactation management and infant stimulation. Materials And Methods : Quasi-experimental design research, conducted in Gresik Regency, East Java. Research time; February to June 2021. A sample of 80 people was selected by quota sampling. The dependent variable is skills in breastfeeding practice and baby stimulation. The independent variable was a workshop on lactation management and infant stimulation. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using t test. Results : The mean value of breastfeeding practice correctly after the workshop (mean=86.80 SD=4.16) was higher than before the workshop (mean=; 48.52; SD=8.69), and statistically significant (p<0.001), and the score was statistically significant (p<0.001). the average stimulation skills of infants 3-6 months after the workshop (mean = 87.89; SD=3.53) were higher than before the workshop (mean=53.88; SD=8.76), and statistically significant (p<0.001). Conclusion : Knowledge about lactation management and infant stimulation is still not widely known to the public. Support from families and the surrounding community, especially mothers for Family Welfare Empowerment (FWE), is needed to disseminate knowledge and lactation management.

Abstract: Training Worthy Of Children, Knowledge, Motivation Of Village Formation Worthy Of Children. The objective of the research is to analyze the influence of village-worthy training on the knowledge and motivation of the community about the establishment of a village worthy of children in Ngargurejo, Ngemplak, Boyolali. It is a quasi-experimental study with an experimental pre-post design. Research respondents are all stakeholder Ngargorejo, Ngemplak, Boyolali as many as 40 people. Sampling techniques use proportional sampling by selecting representatives from all stakeholders with the aim that the chosen research subject can truly represent the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder. Data obtained through interviews and filling questionnaires. The results of this study (1) The Effectiveness of ChildFriendly Village Training on Knowledge shows the average value of respondents' knowledge about DLA is 82.06, median value of middle or 65, the most common mode or value 0, standard deviation of 82.7 with The highest or maximum value of 330 and the lowest or minimum value is 0. Based on table 5.5. Seen the average value of knowledge of respondents after training DLA is 205.3, median 201,5, mode 210, standard deviation 57,58, highest value 300 and lowest 25. Based on table 5.7. Seen that the average value of knowledge of respondents increased from 82.62 ± 82.72 to 205.25 ± 57.57. Since the value of p (Sig 2-tailed), 0.001 is smaller than 0.05 it can be concluded that DLA training significantly affects the improvement of respondent knowledge about DLA. (2). Based on statistical tests with t-test, although there is an increase in mean value of motivation to implement the DLA program from 62,83 ± 10,20 increase to 63,65 ± 4,78, but because p-value (Sig 2-tailed) = 0,629 more Large from 0.05 then it can be concluded DLA training does not affect the increase in motivation to implement DLA program. DLA training had a significant effect to improve knowledge about DLA with paired sample-test 0,001, but Child's Decent Village Training did not influence society's motivation with result p = 0,629.

Abstract Background Exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) is associated with a reduction of postnatal HIV transmission and optimal infant growth. Given that the factors influencing exclusive breastfeeding are multi-factorial and context-specific, we examined the prevalence and factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding practice in the first 6 months among mothers on antiretroviral therapy in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Methods This was a cross-sectional study conducted between January to May 2018, on 469 parturient women enlisted in the prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission cohort study in the Eastern Cape. Mothers were asked to recall whether they breastfed their infant exclusively with breast milk from birth and if so, to state how long they did. We collected relevant sociodemographic, lifestyle, and maternal information by interview. Bivariate and multivariable logistic regression analyses were fitted to determine the sociodemographic and lifestyle factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding practice. Results The prevalence of six-month exclusive breastfeeding, measured since birth, was 32.0%. E Exclusive breastfeeding’s prevalence was significantly higher among married women (36.8%), unemployed women (36.6%), non-smokers (32.7%), and those who never drank alcohol (37.0%). Unemployed women (adjusted odds ratio [AOR] 1.66, 95% Confidence Interval [CI] 1.08–2.56) and those with grade 12 or less level of education (AOR 2.76, 95% CI 1.02–7.49) had a higher likelihood of practising EBF for 6 months since birth while mothers who consumed alcohol (AOR 0.54, 95% CI 0.34–0.85) were less likely to practice EBF for 6 months. Conclusions The prevalence of six-month exclusive breastfeeding in the study, although comparable with sub-Saharan Africa and worldwide prevalence, remains suboptimal. Advocacy campaigns on EBF must target alcohol cessation and the creation of a favourable workplace environment for lactating mothers.

BACKGROUND: Exclusive breastfeeding is the best form of nutrition for infants during the first 6 months of life. Nevertheless, the practice of breastfeeding is currently declining throughout the world. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to assess the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) practice and its associated factors among mothers living in Marrakesh province, Morocco. METHODS: The data were collected using an interviewer administered questionnaire. Both bivariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to identify factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding practice. RESULTS: Prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding was 50.2%. Mothers with age more than 30 years, residing in rural area, receiving counseling related breastfeeding during antenatal follow up and having knowledge about duration of breastfeeding were more likely to practice exclusive breastfeeding than their counterparts. CONCLUSION: Although the prevalence of breastfeeding in Marrakesh was higher than the last national survey report but it is still insufficient. These findings have to stress authorities and deciders to sensitize mothers and future mothers to increase exclusive breastfeeding practice notably through the involvement of health professionals.
