Abstract. This study aims to identify and evaluate whether basic leadership training influences on increased self-confidence and problem solving ability of scout members. The subject of this research are all members of the Board of shelves scout Raden Pratanu-Syarifah Ambami Frontline 09.73 - 09.74 based at SMA Negeri 1 Arosbaya numbered 60 people. Experimental design used was a quasi experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected by scales of self-confidence and problem solving ability. Such data as the results of the pretest scores and posttest. The collected data were analyzed by t-test. The result of study indicated that the basic leadership training affects on increase self-confidence and problem solving ability of scout members.Keywords: basic leadership training, self-confidence and problem solving ability

One ability that students must master is problem solving. Increasing students’ problem-solving ability will improve their mindset. The alternative used to increase students’ problem-solving ability is applying Problem Based Learning model. This study aims to understand the presence or absence of the application of the model of the application of Problem Based Learning to the problem solving of students of class VII PGRI (Equated) Sungguminasa. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design of the Control Posttest Group. The population in this study in all VII class SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa and selected class VII A as an experimental class with consultations with the Problem Based Learning model and class VII C as a control class with training in direct learning models involving the community. The technique of collecting data in this study is the test then analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using the t test (Independent Sample t-test). Based on the results of the study concluded that the Problem Based Learning model determines the problem-solving abilities of students of class VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa.AbstrakSalah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa adalah pemecahan masalah. Meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan mindset siswa. Salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemapuan pemecahan masalah siswa adalah dengan mengaplikasikan model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Control Group Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa dan terpilih kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan model Problem Based Learning dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran langsung yang mewakili populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes kemudian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji t (Independent Sample t-test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa.

<p> This study purposed to gain the difference between students’ academic performance in writing skills who are taught by using indirect written correction and those do not. The research design used quasi-experimental design because this study did not do randomization. In this experimental design, the researcher used two classes to become the subject. One class was experimental class which treated by using indirect correction technique while the other class was control class which was not treated by using indirect correction technique. The subject of this study was seven grade in MTs Pontren Surya Buana Malang.; 7C became control group and 7D was became experimental group. Both of groups consisted 24 students. Both of groups consisted 35 students. This data used t-test to find the significant difference of both groups.           The result was difference between two groups 17, 16 and the std. deviation difference is 0, 92.  T-test count =18, 591 &gt; t- table =1, 679 and p-value 0.000&lt; α (0, 05). It applied that the technique was effective. The conclusion is indirect correction technique is effective to teach writing skills. Then, it is suggested to the teacher to apply or implement a different writing technique to practice and improve the students’ writing, especially by using corrective feedback that have been practiced before. The next researchers can use another technique in their research such as direct corrective feedback because this research uses indirect corrective feedback to improve writing skills</p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: keefektifan pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan realistik; dan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif antara pendekatan realistik dengan pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari prestasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan kepercayaan diri matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain kelompok kontrol pretes-postes beracak. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pandeglang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas yang dipilih secara acak. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan MANOVA, dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pendekatan realistik menggunakan uji one sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: pendekatan realistik efektif terhadap pembelajaran matematika ditinjau dari prestasi belajar dan kepercayaan diri matematika siswa namun tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah; pendekatan realistik lebih efektif dari pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari prestai belajar, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan kepercayaan diri matematika siswa.Kata kunci: pendekatan realistik, prestasi belajar, kemampuan pemecahan  masalah, kepercayaan diri. The Effectiveness of Realistic Approach Based on Learning Achievement, Problem Solving Ability, and Mathematical Self Confidence AbstractThis study aims to describe: the effectiveness of teaching mathematics using realistic approach; and the more effective teaching between realistic approach and conventional teaching based on studens’ learning achievement, problem solving ability, and mathematical self-confidence. This research was a quasi experimental study employing a random pretest-posttest control group design. It involved one experimental group and one control group. The research population comprised nine classes of Year VIII student of SMP Negeri 3 Pandeglang. The sample consisted of two classes that were randomly established. The data were analysed by means of MANOVA, and to test the effectiveness of realistic approach using one sample t-test. The result of the study show that: realistic approach is effective in learning mathematics based on learning achievement and mathematical self confidence of student but not effective based on problem solving ability; realistic approach more effective than conventional learning based on learning achievement, problem solving ability and  mathematical self confidence of student.Keywords: realistic approach, learning achievement, problem solving ability, self-confidence.

AbstractThe purpose of the study was to analyze the differences in the increase in self-concept of elementary school students through scaffolding techniques in Saparua District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest and involved 30 elementary school students as research samples. The test uses paired sample t-test and it is identified that there are differences in students' self concepts before and after scaffolding techniques are applied. Self-concept enhancement was analyzed using N-gain, where each self-concept indicator achieved an increase in the medium category. The indicators of attitude and self-confidence increased by 31%, The indicators of View of ability and disability increased by 43%, and indicators of self-sensitivity increased by 52%, and the indicators of views of others towards themselves was 45%. These result are due to the effectiveness of scaffolding, because by scaffolding students can be helped to solve a problem.

The aim of the study was to know the effect of accelerated learning on mathematics problem solving. This was a quasi experimental study.  The subject was class VA and VB. The hyphotesis testing used t test calculation. The result was ttest result = 3,071 and  ttabel = 2,001, because tobtain > ttable so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Tjerefor, it can be concluded  that   accelerated learning was significantly influence in improving students mathematics problem solving. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of using multimedia web-based on learning outcome, especially psychomotor domain of XI Fashion Boutique students in SMKN 6 Surabaya, on the subject study Pattern Making. Quasi-Experimental design has been used, which consists of experimental class (multimedia web-based) and control class (power point), wherein consists of 30 students for each class. Data was analyse using Independent sample t-test on SPSS software. The data showed that psycomotor domain of the experimental class were higher than control class.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap hasil belajar biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian randomized control group posttest only design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil belajar biologi siswa aspek kognitif. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata (T-test). Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai  yang artinya Hipotesis (H1) diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe STAD berpengaruh positif karena dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh secara signifikan. The data in this study is the data of students' learning achievements. The data were analyzed using two-equity test (T-test). The results of the analysis obtained value tcount = 2,00>1.43 = ttable which means Hypothesis (H1) accepted. Based on the results of the study, we can concluded that the implementation of STAD had positive effect to increase learning achivements significantly.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of local wisdom-based Science learning modules on the subject of temperature and heat in MTs Al-Hadi . The research method used in this study is Quasi Experimental Design. Data processing and analysis using t-test with the help of SPSS. The results of student pretest scores above KKM are 40% of the total 30 students, while 93.3% of students score above KKM at posttest. Thus, the science module based on local wisdom is effective in improving the learning outcomes of SMP/MTs students in the discussion of temperature and heat. The gain test results are 0.63 (moderate) and the significant value of paired-sample t-test is 0,000 <0.05. It can be concluded that learning physics using science modules based on local wisdom is effectively used to improve student learning outcomes.

This research aims to examine the differences in the improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities of MTs students with an open-ended approach and conventional learning. In this research the researchers applied quasi-experimental method, where the samples in this research are students of class VII MTs in Cianjur district and take the subject of students of MTs Tanwiriyyah class VII I a total of 41 students as experimental class who get the learning treatment using the approach Open-Ended and class VII H totaling 40 students as control class that get conventional learning. In this study the instrument that applied the test instrument of the problem-solving ability of mathematics as much as 4 item. The result of N-Gain data analysis using t` test shows students' mathematical problem-solving ability of the experimental class is better than the control class.

<pre><strong>Abstrack:</strong> Geography learning in high school has not been able to develop problem solving. Learning to Overcome Successful Problems This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning models on the ability to solve problems in disaster mitigation material in the field of Geography. The design used was a quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest research. This study uses the t-test. The research subjects were students of class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Purwosari. The results showed an increase. This is proven by testing the hypothesis obtained results of 0.001 &lt;0.05 so that it is concluded that the Problem Based Learning model is effectively used to improve problem solving abilities.</pre><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Pembelajaran Geografi di SMA belum mampu mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Pembelajaran geografi dianggap membosankan sehingga kurang mampu mengembangkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model <em>Problem Based Learning</em> terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi mitigasi bencana bidang studi Geografi. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah <em>quasi experiment</em> dengan desain penelitian <em>pretest and posttest. </em>Penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS di SMAN 1 Purwosari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui uji hipotesis sebesar 0,001&lt;0,05 dapat disimpulkan model <em>Problem Based Learning</em> efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah.
