Along with the rapid development of science and technology, it will directly or indirectly affect the telecommunications system. The internet is one of the important parts of the telecommunications system that continues to increase and has become a necessity for many people throughout the world. The survey conducted by APJII shows that internet users in Indonesia in 2017 reached 143 million with an increase of 10 million users from the previous year. This shows that almost all aspects of life are touched by digital internet, with the internet will facilitate work by speeding up processing time and increasing effectiveness. On this basis, it requires technology that can support reliable access services to serve those needs. The technology intended is GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network), the latest access device which is one of the various optical fiber communication system technologies. PT. Moratelematika Indonesia is a company engaged in telecommunications and information services that applies the use of GPON technology in providing services to customers. This paper will explain how to present internet services using GPON technology provided by PT. Moratelematika Indonesia to fulfill internet needs for residential and business customers.

Almost all corners of the world have been affected or affected by this Covid-19 virus disease, even some countries have set a lockdown status and other anticipations for the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The alternative used in this bold learning activity system is to utilize the internet network, namely the Zoom Meeting and Classroom application. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the use of internet networks such as zoom meetings and classrooms used and how effective learning is during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research conducted here uses descriptive qualitative research methods. And the results of this study indicate that the zoom application is an application that is very effective and preferred by students because it is easier to use and very efficient when the learning process is bold and shows that some students who give their perception of the application used during learning that are brave are the Zoom Meeting application, namely the application. Zoom Meeting. by 66.7%, followed by the Google Meet application at 22.2% and the Classrom application at 11.1%.

Along with the rapid development of Social Networking Sites (SNS), social media, recently, has become a lifestyle for many people around the world, including in Indonesia. The data in January 2018 showed that in Indonesia out of 132.7 million internet users, almost all (131 million), or up 23% from the data in 2017, were Facebook users with the dominance of 18-24 years old, 35% of whom were the highest active users. The rapid growth of Facebook users annually in Indonesia, especially in the age of students and college students, encourages researchers to conduct many empirical studies of Facebook use among students. There is a tendency for using Facebook continuously to create FAD effects (Facebook Addiction Disorder) among students and can affect the spirit of learning. This study also discusses what is the motivation for using Facebook and seeing the potential for FAD to occur. In this study, an online survey over 375 respondents from several students in Labuhanbatu District was conducted. To explore respondents' motives in using Facebook, respondents were given questions that were divided into the following five motives: social interaction, leisure time, entertainment, friends, and communication. While to look for potential addiction, respondents were given questions using the Bergen Facebook Addiction (BFAD) scale. In getting a connection between the motives for using Facebook and Facebook Addiction, the data was tested by analysis of variants (ANOVA) and partial tests using SPSS software. The results obtained were 65.8% of participants were at a moderate level, while 20.3% were at a low level, and only 13.9% of participants were at a high level. While the most significant motive affecting respondents in using Facebook is the motive to fill the time and motives for communicating.

ABSTRACT The problem in this study is that more and more internet users in the Bina Insan Lubuklinggau University building specifically the Faculty of Computer internet connection often experience problems, the internet network is still unstable, and ways to divide internet access points in the Computer Faculty. This study uses data collection methods by observing and recording directly at the research site (Observation), conducting question and answer directly to the source (Interview), and documentation by reading literature books. The results showed that the internet is often experiencing constraints and unstable internet networks and ways to divide internet access points at the Computer Faculty of the University of Bina Insan Lubuklinggau by using Policy Base Routing and Failover Implementation using a Mikrotik Router. It can be concluded that the internet network connection is stable and shows the results of the distribution of internet access points at the Faculty of Computer Bina Insan Lubuklinggau. The paper analyzes the statistics of implementing known information threats, considers new types of Internet fraud and develops recommendations for protecting against unauthorized actions of Internet scammers. Internet fraud has long gone beyond mailing and has become widespread. Fraudsters operate in almost all spheres of human activity, and with the advent of various means of communication their activities have acquired new trends. The most common methods of online fraud are the following: fake shops with Internet sales, phishing, fundraising for charity, dating sites, viral content. The paper shows that the considered methods of Internet fraud are connected not so much with the Internet as directly with the user. Internet users should not only be aware of possible types and schemes of fraud, but also take care of software protection methods such as antivirus and timely updating all applications, browsers and systems. Only being up to date, constantly learning and being interested in both new threats and methods of their protection users can protect themselves and their loved ones from losses.

In this paper, we enhance the performance efficiency of the free-space optical (FSO) communication link using the hybrid on-off keying (OOK) modulation, M-ary digital pulse position modulation (M-ary DPPM), and M-pulse amplitude and position modulation (M-PAPM). This work analyzes and enhances the bit error rate (BER) performance of the moment generating function, modified Chernoff bound, and Gaussian approximation techniques. In the existence of both an amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) noise, atmospheric turbulence (AT) channels, and interchannel crosstalk (ICC), we propose a system model of the passive optical network (PON) wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technique for a dense WDM (DWDM) based on the hybrid fiber FSO (HFFSO) link. We use eight wavelength channels that have been transmitted at a data rate of 2.5 Gbps over a turbulent HFFSO-DWDM system and PON-FSO optical fiber start from 1550 nm channel spacing in the C-band of 100 GHz. The results demonstrate (2.5 Gbps × 8 channels) 20 Gbit/s-4000 m transmission with favorable performance. In this design, M-ary DPPM-M-PAPM modulation is used to provide extra information bits to increase performance. We also propose to incorporate adaptive optics to mitigate the AT effect and improve the modulation efficiency. We investigate the impact of the turbulence effect on the proposed system performance based on OOK-M ary- PAPM-DPPM modulation as a function of M-ary DPPM-PAPM and other atmospheric parameters. The proposed M-ary hybrid DPPM-M-PAPM solution increases the receiver sensitivity compared to OOK, improves the reliability and achieves a lower power penalty of 0.2–3.0 dB at low coding level (M) 2 in the WDM-FSO systems for the weak turbulence. The OOK/M-ary hybrid DPPM-M-PAPM provides an optical signal-to-noise ratio of about 4–8 dB of the DWDM-HFFSO link for the strong turbulence at a target BER of 10−12. The numerical results indicate that the proposed design can be enhanced with the hybrid OOK/M-DPPM and M-PAPM for DWDM-HFFSO systems. The calculation results show that PAPM-DPPM has increased about 10–11 dB at BER of 10−12 more than the OOK-NRZ approach. The simulation results show that the proposed hybrid optical modulation technique can be used in the DWDM-FSO hybrid links for optical-wireless and fiber-optic communication systems, significantly increasing their efficiency. Finally, the use of the hybrid OOK/M-ary DPPM-M-PAPM modulation schemes is a new technique to reduce the AT, ICC, ASE noise for the DWDM-FSO optical fiber communication systems.

[Id]Koneksi internet yang sering terputus merupakan masalah yang sering dijumpai oleh orang-orang hampir di seluruh dunia. Apalagi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, manusia memiliki ketergantungan yang tinggi terhadap internet. Sebuah topologi yang dinamakan mesh dapat digunakan untuk membangun sebuah jaringan. Topologi mesh memiliki dua karakteristik yaitu self-healing dan self-configuring. Kedua karakteristik tersebut dapat diterapkan dalam menangani masalah internet terputus. Kemudian, penggunaan ponsel cerdas berbasis Android kian meningkat, terutama untuk di Indonesia. Dengan berkembangnya ponsel cerdas berbasis Android yang begitu pesat, maka dibangun sebuah aplikasi pada ponsel cerdas berbasis Android untuk menangani masalah internet terputus dengan menerapkan karakteristik topologi mesh, yaitu self-healing dan self-configuring. Aplikasi dapat menampilkan informasi yang berhubungan dengan jaringan dan juga dapat berkomunikasi dengan ponsel lain yang terhubung melalui hotspot dengan menggunakan pemrograman socket. Pada penelitian ini, Aplikasi berhasil dibangun menggunakan bahasa Java untuk ponsel cerdas berbasis Android. Teknologi Wi-Fi dan hotspot digunakan untuk menghubungkan ponsel ke internet. Pengguna dapat melihat informasi Service Set Identifier (SSID) yang diurutkan berdasarkan kekuatan sinyal, dan aplikasi akan otomatis menghubungkan dengan SSID yang memiliki kekuatan paling besar. Setelah terhubung dengan internet, pengguna dapat melihat siapa saja yang terhubung dalam satu hotspot. Dan juga dapat melakukan sharing internet terhadap ponsel lain yang terhubung dalam satu jaringan.[En]Internet disconnections is a frequent problem encountered by people almost all over the world. Moreover in everyday life, people have a high dependence on the Internet. Mesh topology can be used to build a network. Mesh topology has two characteristics that is self-healing and self-configuring. Both of these characteristics can be applied in dealing with interrupted internet connection. Then, the growth of using Android-based smart phones is increasing, especially in Indonesia. With the development of Android based smartphone, we created an application on smart phone to address the issue of internet disconnection by applying the characteristics of mesh topology, which is self-healing and self-configuring. Applications can display information related to the network and can also communicate with other phones that are connected via hotspot using socket programming. In this research, application was built using Java for Android-based smartphones. Wi-Fi and Hotspot are used to connect the smartphone to the Internet. Users can see the SSID information sorted based on signal strength, and the application will automatically connect to the SSID that have highest signal strength. Once smartphone connected to the Internet, users can see who is connected in a hotspot. And also can share the internet to another phone connected in a network.Keywords :Android, Mesh Network, Wifi

AbstractHigh-capacity and long-haul transmission gained great significance in modern communication networks. Optical fiber communication system is good enough to face the high demand of current telecom terrific. This paper will propound the theoretical model showing nonlinear factors which degrade the transmission performances of high-capacity long-haul network. The postulatory model will be validated using simulation of key nonlinear factors such as effective area, launch power, refractive index and fiber length. The transmission performance of the high-capacity long-haul optical network would be analyzed on the basis of some key parameters such as bit error rate and signal-to-noise ratio. Mitigation of nonlinear impairments shows significant impact on transmission performances of high-capacity long-haul optical networks.

This paper discusses the development of the Internet in Mexico within the context of the digital divide. There is skepticism about whether the digital divide is something driven primarily by technology rather than an epiphenomenon driven by socioeconomic factors. The barriers to access are not technological but rather economic and historical. Although Mexico shows wide disparities in Internet access, it also shows rapid development toward more access. The number of regular Internet users in Mexico is small (about 14 million) but has shown consistent growth. Business and non–governmental organization presence on the Web is increasing, and the Mexican government is innovatively using the Web to broaden contact with its citizens. In the Mexican case, there is certainly evidence of a digital divide. Nevertheless, there is also ample evidence of digital development.

Perkembangan tehnologi digital merupakan hasil rekayasa akal, pikiran dan kecerdasan manusia, yang tercermin dalam kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan, selanjutnya memberikan manfaat dalam segala aspek kehidupan manusia. Dalam perkembangan komunikasi manusia telah berhasil membawa kemajuan yang sangat pesat. The development of digital technologies is the result of engineering intellect, mind and human intelligence, which is reflected in the advancement of science, and provides benefits in all aspects of human life. In the development of human communication has managed to bring a very rapid progression, from communication to manually change into analog, digital, where technology has provided ease in communicating quickly, without alimited distance, space and time through the Internet. Based on the data of Internet users in Indonesia 2016 as much as 132.7 million people from a total population of Indonesia as much as 256.2 million people, certainly the year 2017 is much more rapid development. From the results of a survey by the Association of organizers of Internet network , revealed that, on average, through the Internet in Indonesia 67.2 million or 50.7 percent, to access via mobile devices and the computer. In West NusaTenggara as many as 3.3 million or 64 percent. The number of internet users from 80 percent of who mareaged 15-19 years, meaning the teenage is still recorded as learners. Therefore the purpose of this paper is to find out how digital technology benefits against the motivation of learners. The method use disdescriptive qualitative studies. As the analysis of data and information furnished observations, document definitions obtained from books written by experts and scripts through social media or the Internet. Discussion of the results obtained positive influence motivation towards learning digital technology learners. With a fixed geared to anticipate the negative influence posed that can disrupt moral behavior, and thus a threat motivation learning learners. Because energy must begiven Faith, discipline on an ongoing basis, in order to take advantage of positive tehnology digital to enhance learning motivation of learners.
