Monitoring the effectiveness of the use of the BOSU hemisphere in the process of supporting physical training of basketball players in the stage of preparation for higher achievements
Auxiliary physical training is responsible for creating the preconditions for successful special fitness of athletes and should be aimed at improving, raising the level and coherence in the performance of leading functional systems in terms of both training and competitive activities. The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of stage control of the special fitness of basketball players of 17-20 years under the influence of the content of auxiliary physical training, which consisted of a set of tools aimed at improving the level of coordination, power, speed-power and speed qualities of basketball players using the BOSU hemisphere. The purpose of the study was to monitor the fitness of basketball players at the stage of preparation for higher achievement before and after the introduction of the content of assisted physical training using the BOSU hemisphere. We have developed a set of exercises in supportive physical training. The exercises were performed using the repeated method, the “failure-to-do” method, the circular training method. In addition, when exercises of physical and technical-tactical orientation were combined, the methods of combined influence and modeling were applied. The implementation of stage control by means of control testing before and after the pedagogical experiment made it possible to determine a reliable increase in the indicators of the basketball players' physical fitness in all tests, which led to the improvement of the indicators of competitive activity.
