Abstract    The need for network technology cannot be avoided anymore because of its very pronounced benefits, where the network can help communication in sharing information and data by cutting time and distance. Internet is an indispensable need, especially in education, network quality, distribution or network segmentation, the hardware used, especially SMPN 255 Jakarta. The development method used by NDLC. Data collection is the interview method, observation, literature study, network network design using Star Topology, a network simulation system built using the media routerboard 750 hEX lite as the main router as well as a router for network distribution. It is hoped that this can help SMPN 255 Jakarta a little in distributing the existing local network according to the needs and increasing existing users, then providing convenience in network system maintenance or changes. The result is the successful configuration for implementing VLANs on the Jakarta 255 SMPN network to be able to distribute the network and use the existing features optimally so that it can develop the existing network but at a cost that is not that big.   Keywords: Mikrotik, Network Design, Network Management, NDLC, VLAN.   Abstrak   Kebutuhan akan teknologi jaringan tidak dapat dihindari lagi karena manfaatnya yang sangat terasa, dimana jaringan dapat membantu komunikasi dalam pembagian informasi maupun data dengan memangkas waktu dan jarak. Internet merupakan suatu kebutuhan yang sangat diperlukan, terutama dalam pendidikan, kualitas jaringan, pendistribusian atau segmentasi jaringan, perangkat keras yang digunakan khususnya SMPN 255 Jakarta. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan NDLC. Pengumpulan data yaitu metode wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka, Perancangan jaringan jaringan menggunakan Topologi Star, sistem simulasi jaringan yang dibangun menggunakan media routerboard 750 hEX lite sebagai router utama sekaligus router untuk mendistribusi jaringan. Diharapkan ini bisa sedikit membantu SMPN 255 Jakarta dalam mendistribusikan jaringan lokal yang ada sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan peningkatan pengguna yang ada, kemudian memberikan kemudahan dalam pemeliharaan sistem jaringan ataupun perubahan. Hasil yang ada berupa berhasilnya konfigurasi untuk penerapan VLAN pada jaringan SMPN 255 Jakarta untuk dapat mendistribusikan jaringan dan penggunaan fitur yang ada dimanfaatkan dengan optimal sehingga dapat mengembangkan jaringan yang ada namun dengan biaya yang tidak begitu besar.   Kata kunci: Mikrotik, Management Network, NDLC, Perancangan Jaringan, VLAN.

ABSTRACTPhotography is one of the media used to introduce the character or self-image of politicians during regional head elections, or presidential elections. Among them are by displaying photos of faces or campaign activities for APK (Campaign Props) billboards, namely billboards or billboards installed on protocol roads that can be seen by the public, pamphlets, mass media, and etc. Visual media in the form of photos has a very big influence on public opinion. Photography has a visual power that is able to construct the authenticity of factual events. The purpose of this study is to find out how the process of making photography a political visual communication medium in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative with an approach through the literature study method. The results of this study can be concluded that the process of making photography a political medium of visual communication to the public is carried out in several ways, namely by recruiting special photographers themselves, designing them, and distributing them. The effect of the message generated from a photography with a good appearance is the effect of knowledge and effect of information.Keywords:  Photography, Political Media, Visual Communication, Message Effects, Political Communication.  ABSTRAKFotografi merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan untuk mengenalkan karakter atau citra diri politisi saat pemilihan kepala daerah, ataupun pemilihan presiden. Diantaranya dengan memajang foto-foto wajah atau kegiatan kampanye untuk baliho APK (Alat Peraga Kampanye) yakni papan reklame atau billboard yang dipasang di jalan-jalan protokol yang bisa dilihat oleh masyarakat luas, pamflet, media massa, dan sebagainya. Media visual berupa foto sangat besar pengaruhnya mempengaruhi opini publik. Fotografi memiliki kekuatan visual yang mampu mengkonstruksi keotentikan peristiwa faktual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses menjadikan fotografi sebagai media komunikasi visual politik di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan melalui metode studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses menjadikan fotografi sebagai media politik komunikasi visual kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, yakni dengan merekrut khusus fotografer sendiri, mendesainnya, dan menyebarkannya. Efek pesan yang ditimbulkan dari sebuah fotografi dengan tampilan yang baik adalah efek pengetahuan dan efek informasi.Kata Kunci: Fotografi, Media Politik, Komunikasi Visual, Efek Pesan, Komunikasi Politik.

This research explains about symbolic violence in Islamic religious education books is rarely done. It also checks whether or not the books used so far contain symbolic violence, because there should be no difference in religious education between upper-class and lower-class. The formulation of the problems in this study are; how the mechanism of symbolic violence in Islamic religious education textbooks in elementary schools, and how the proportion of upper-class habitus and lower-class habitus in Islamic religious education textbooks in elementary schools. This research is a qualitative study with the type of literature study. The results showed that symbolic violence still occurred in elementary schools. The mechanism that runs is through an educational strategy by hiding the process of symbolic violence in the curriculum or what we know as the hidden curriculum. One of the media used to perpetrate violence is a textbook. In Islamic Religious Education textbooks for elementary school level), there is an element of upper-class domination over the lower class. The dominance of the upper-class over the lower-classes can be seen from the proportion of habitus presented in the textbook, the number of upper-class habitus presented through sentences and pictures illustrated is far greater than the lower-class habitus.

Currently the development of information technology has an important influence in the development of learning systems, one of which is technology in the multimedia field. Multimedia technology is an indispensable tool for the learning process. The use of text, images, audio, video, and animation in learning helps students to quickly understand learning material. Multimedia also provides opportunities for educators to develop learning methods so that they get maximum results. AMIK AKMI Baturaja is a computer college that has not fully utilized information technology in its learning, especially in the field of Multimedia. For this reason, researchers conducted this research for the development of learning at the Campus AMIK AKMI Baturaja. This study aims to produce a multimedia-based learning media at AMIK AKMI Baturaja which can be a driving force for student learning achievement. In this study using a research method of literature study, observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The media development method uses MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) which consists of six stages, namely concept (needs analysis), design (design), material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. . The result of this research is a multimedia-based learning system presented in the form of e-learning. This media is expected to have a positive influence in increasing student achievement and learning independence.

Maintenance Identification on Vertical Garden at Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali. Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali has a vertical garden with an area of 10 m x 4 m. The Hotel is able to maintain the plant condition. The purpose of this research is to identify the vertical garden maintenance system at the Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali. The research method uses survey and literature study methods. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and literature study. Data analysis methods with descriptive methods and scoring tables. The results about the identification of vertical garden maintenance systems consist of watering, water disposal system, trimming, fertilizing, replanting plants, media replacement, sanitation, pest and disease control. Watering in 2 hours creating high humidity in the media. The volume of water released is not fully experienced evapotranspiration. The planting media do not experience drought during the day, so the plants keep fresh. In the calculation of plant suitability values, the corresponding values are Hemigraphis alternata. Plants with adequate value are Epipremnum aureum, Asparagus densiflorus, Ananas bracteatus tricolor, Schefflera Arboricola, and Portulaca grandiflora. In the maintenance process requires a fertigation system to facilitate fertilization. The use of automated systems such as timmers will simplify the maintenance and a more scheduled.

This study was aimed at designing, creating, and developing an interactive audio visual learning media. This study was also aimed at examining the effectiveness of the implementation of the kid’s athletics interactive audio visual learning media on the student learning achievement. This research used a Research and Development method. The subjects of the study were 30 elementary students. The research design was the product development model. The data were analyzed by using a percentage calculation of the validation results. The validators were the expert in media and the expert in material. The result of the data analysis showed that the use of interactive audiovisual media kid’s athletics had been assessed as valid by the validators. The validity score was 85,71% from the media expert and 91,67% from the material expert. Therefore, the product was categorized as very good, which means it is applicable to use. The results of teacher instruction observation on using the kid’s athletics interactive audio visual media were 94,79% for the Kanga Escape material, 88,54% for Frog Jump material, 92, 70% for Turbo Throwing material, and 91,66 for Formula 1 material.

Abstract Emergency managers (EMs) use National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts to prepare for and respond to severe weather events. To effectively facilitate such decision making, the NWS needs to understand this large and important group of clients. EMs translate the forecasts to local topography, suggest actions to take in preparation of high water levels, and use their local network and reputation to make people act. For this study, 17 EMs in towns along rivers were interviewed and asked to describe their use of river and weather forecasts. Forecast uncertainty is one of the many uncertainties an EM has to manage when coordinating an emergency response. Each of the interviewed EMs who uses river forecasts was acutely aware that river forecasts often have substantial uncertainty. To cope with this uncertainty, EMs engage in extensive information gathering before forming their own judgments. However, EMs often do not communicate their judgment of the situation to the public, fearing potential liability claims and backlash from the media. For emergency management decisions, while EMs do consider forecast data, they rely heavily on recorded data and monitoring crews, limiting the benefits of forecasts that can be made with significant lead time. This paper arrives at recommendations for the NWS on how to increase the value of river and weather forecasts for decision making in emergency management.

Based on design thinking of web services network resources, this paper treated the organization and management of web resources as the purpose and built the mathematical model and algorithm of web network resources service. It designed the spiritual home network ideological and political education network system according to model and algorithm. Spiritual home network system achieved three functions. In order to improve the efficiency of network services, this paper matched the service of spiritual home and finally got a simple web service interface. Finally, the paper compared the service system in this paper with the general service system. The service system designed in this paper can search the service needed in a shorter time. Its accuracy is higher than general service system.
