This research aimed to study the factors that affect of the adolescent reproductive health service in Jayapura Municipality. This research applied an explanatory research method with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected by questionnaire, which were involving 393 adolescents aged 15 - 19 years-old at five senior high schools across Jayapura Municipality area. Results according to chi-square statistical test provided correlated variables to age (p value = 0.047), religion (p value = 0.048), pocket money (p value = 0.000), socio-culture (p value = 0.001), tariff (p value = 0.047), staff (p value = 0.043), facility (p value = 0.046), knowledge (p value = 0.002), attitude (p value = 0.006). Furthermore, the logistic regression test resulted in staff, need, and domicile status as the most affecting variables on the use of the adolescent reproductive health. This research recommended that service staff had to be friendly and take account for confidentiality, to understand the development of the adolescence, either physically, psychologically, or socially, to provide adolescent reproductive health service at schools, and to have an open communication between adolescents and their parents in order to monitor their development. Key words: health services, PKPR, Student High Schools, Jayapura

Background of study: Adolescent is a group that very susceptible to 3 risks of basic adolescent reproductive health (TRIAD KRR) includes the aspect of sexuality, HIV/AIDS disease and misused of drugs. A free life, wild and without rules often be the main triggers for the lack of attitude of prevention related to TRIAD KRR. Research Purpose: This research is conducted to find out the relationship between knowledge towards the attitude of preventing three basic threats to adolescent reproductive health (TRIAD KRR) among youth street singer (KPJ) in 2021. Research Methods: This research is a quantitative analytic survey with a cross sectional research design. The sampling technique is using probability sampling with purposive sampling and using 33 teenagers from the youth street singer community in Serang Regency as the sample. For the statistical test, this research is using Chi-Square. Research results: Based from the statistic test, obtained the p value = 0,005 < 0,05 (alpha) with 10.267 OR value and 95% value of CI level of confidence between 2.002-52.649. It can be conclude that there is a relationship between knowledge and TRIAD KRR precautionary attitude on youth street singer in Serang Regency in 2021. Suggestion: This research can be used as an initial data or an illustration to be able to develop further research. For an optimized result, another research can be conducted with different designs with another variety of variables and expand the range of respondents number.

Abstract Background: Girl’s adolescent who live in Islamic boarding schools need behavioral maintenance facilities regarding reproductive health.  Girl’s adolescent development during reproductive growth will be associated with the acceptance of self-esteem. Objective: The study purpose was to understand about the relationship of self-esteem and adolescent reproductive health maintenance behaviors of students in Darussholah Boarding Schools Jember. Method: This study used cross-sectional with 281 adolescent aged 12-18 with convenience sampling. Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (RSES) was used to measure self-esteem, and reproductive health care questionnaire was to measure reproductive health maintenance behaviors. Chi-square was performed to analyze the objective of study. Results: The results showed that among 281 adolescents were identify have a low self esteem (85%) and (74%) of less maintenance reproductive health behaviors. There is a significant relationship between the self-esteem and adolescent reproductive health maintenance behaviors among girl’s adolescent in Darussholah Boarding Schools Jember (χ2 = 96.34; p-value = 0.001). Girl’s adolescent with low self-esteem are more likely 35.414 time to have less reproductive health care (OR = 35.414; 95% CI = 90,145-13,913). Conclusion: Acceptance of proportional self-esteem should be improved to maintenance. Therefore, facilities in Islamic boarding schools need to be provided to realize a clean and healthy should the maintenance of reproductive. Keywords: Self esteem, maintainance of reproductive behavior, female adolscent, boarding schools Abstrak Latar belakang: Remaja putri yang tinggal di pondok pesantren selama proses hygiene perseorangan memerlukan fasilitas pemeliharaan perilaku kesehatan reproduksinya. Perkembangan remaja selama tumbuh kembang kesehatan reproduksi akan berkaitan dengan penerimaan harga dirinya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara harga diri dengan perilaku pemeliharaan kesehatan reproduksi remaja santri putri di Pondok Pesantren Darussholah Jember. Metode: Desain penelitian cross-sectional dilakukan pada 281 remaja berusia 12-18 tahun dengan convenience sampling. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengukur karakteristik remaja. Kuisioner Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (RSES) digunakan untuk mengukur harga diri, dan kuesioner pemeliharaan kesehatan reproduksi digunakan untuk mengukur perilaku pemeliharaan kesehatan reproduksi.  Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan bahwa remaja memiliki harga diri rendah (85%) dan perilaku pemeliharaan kesehatan reproduksi yang kurang (74%). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara harga diri dengan perilaku pemeliharaan kesehatan reproduksi remaja santri putri di Pondok Pesantren Darussholah Jember (χ2= 96,34; p-value= 0,001). Remaja santri putri dengan harga diri rendah berpeluang 35,414 kali memiliki pemeliharaan kesehatan reproduksi kurang (OR= 35,414; 95% CI= 13,913-90,145). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara peran keluarga dengan pengetahuan dan SADARI pada remaja putri di Kecamatan Jelbuk. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan pendidikan dan promosi kesehatan pada keluarga supaya dapat menjalankan peran keluarga dengan lebih baik dan menjadi sumber informasi tentang SADARI bagi remaja putri.   Kata kunci: harga diri, pemeliharaan kesehatan reproduksi, remaja putri, pondok pesantren

ABSTRAKPos Pembinaan Terpadu Penyakit Tidak Menular (Posbindu PTM) merupakan usaha pemerintah dalam menanggulangi penyakit tidak menular. Rendahnya angka pemanfaatan Posbindu oleh masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan pelayanan posbindu dilihat dari data kunjungan Posbindu PTM tiga bulan terakhir tahun 2018 untuk kunjungan lama yaitu pada bulan Oktober 365 kunjungan, kemudian bulan November menurun ke angka 348 kunjungan dan pada Bulan Desember mengalami penurunan sebanyak 297 kunjungan. Secara teoritis, seseorang dikatakan memanfaatkan suatu pelayanan kesehatan jika mendatangi pelayanan kesehatan itu teratur dalam tiga bulan terakhir tanpa menyebabkan terganggunya kegiatan harian. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah menjelaskan hubungan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemanfaatan Posbindu PTM oleh masyarakat di Wilayah Kerja UPT Puskesmas Martapura 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling pada 85 orang masyarakat di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Martapura 2. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada periode Bulan Maret-April tahun 2019. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan Uji chi square analisis menunjukkan nilai p-value <0,05 yaitu pendidikan (p-value= 0,029), pekerjaan (p-value= 0,022) PR= 4,295 (95% CI 1,315-14,036), dukungan keluarga (p-value= 0,001) PR=7,714 (95% CI 2,698-22,057) , dukungan petugas kesehatan (p-value= 0,001) PR= 8,273 (95% CI 2,795-24,488), dukungan kader kesehatan (p-value= 0,001) PR= 7,071 (95% CI 2,227-22,454), dan dukungan teman sebaya (p-value= 0,001) PR= 5,844 (95% CI 2,114-16,151). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan, pekerjaan, dukungan keluarga, dukungan petugas kesehatan, dukungan kader kesehatan dan dukungan teman sebaya memiliki hubungan pada pemanfaatan Posbindu PTM.Kata-kata kunci: posbindu, pemanfaatan, penyakit tidak menularABSTRACTIntegrated Post Training of Non-Communicable Diseases (Posbindu PTM) is a government effort in tackling non-communicable diseases. The low utilization rate of Posbindu by the community in utilizing posbindu services can be seen from the PTM Posbindu visit data for the last three months of 2018 for long visits namely in October 365 visits, then in November it decreased to 348 visits and in December it decreased by 297 visits. Theoretically, a person is said to utilize a health service if attending the health service regularly in the last three months without causing disruption to daily activities. Background: Adolescent reproductive health is one of the component of the reproductive health. It is most important issue in the world. Reproductive capability is taking place at an earlier age and adolescents are indulging in risk taking behaviors day by day. The objective of this study is to assess knowledge regarding sexual and reproductive health among adolescents. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in Kathmandu valley to assess the knowledge regarding sexual and reproductive health among adolescents. Total of 200 respondents were selected through non-probability purposive sampling technique. Self-administered written questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and inferential statistics such as Chi-square test. Results: The findings revealed that most of the respondents had knowledge regarding transmission and protection of HIV/AIDS and STIs but still some respondents had misconception regarding it. The statistical analysis revealed that the total mean knowledge score with standard deviation was 45.02±8.674. Nearly half of the respondents (49.5%) had moderate level of knowledge, followed by inadequate level of knowledge 29.5% and adequate level of knowledge 21.0% regarding sexual and reproductive health. There was statistically significant association of level of knowledge with area of residence (p-value 0.002). Conclusion: Nearly half of the respondents possess some knowledge about sexual and reproductive health but still effective educational intervention is required to increase their knowledge.

Introduction: The globalization of information has a big impact on adolescents. The great curiosity of adolescents about reproduction encourages adolescents to seek information from various sources, including peers, parents, schools and information media. This requires correct and responsible information so that adolescents can have healthy reproductive behavior. The aim is to analyze the knowledge and motivation of peer counselors in the implementation of adolescent reproductive health counseling in Sumenep Regency. Methods: This study used quantitative methods with cross sectional design. The population in this study is the total population, namely all peer counselors who have received training on Adolescent Reproductive Health in Sumenep Regency as many as 66 people. Sampling technique using simple random sampling. Data analysis used chi-square statistical test and logistic regression. Results: The results showed that knowledge about adolescent reproductive health counseling, motivation towards the implementation of adolescent reproductive health counseling, had an influence on the implementation of adolescent reproductive health counseling. Conclusion: This study recommends the Sumenep Regency BPMP & KB Office to organize and activate adolescent reproductive health counseling training and invite peer counselors who are active in Sumenep district, as well as facilitate any adolescent reproductive health counseling activities in the form of facilities and infrastructure

Quantitative descriptive research using cross sectional design. The population was 96 and the sample was 74 students, taken by cluster sampling techniques. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis using chi square statistical tests.The results showed that the majority of respondents were 16 years old (45.9%). Most of the respondents were male (54.1%). Most of them were interested in the opposite sex (51.4%). There were 56.8% of respondents who had a good parents role. There were 59.5% of respondents who had good knowledge of reproductive health. There were 20.3% of respondents who got bad pre-marital sexual behavior. There is a relationship between the role of parents (p-value = 0,0001) and reproductive health knowledge (p-value = 0,0001) with pre-marital sexual behavior of students in senior high schools.

Despite the need for reproductive health serviceonly a few teenagers utilize the service due to several constraints in having reproductive and sexual health serviceas a result of limited access to the service and negative perception about center of reproductive health service.Data of Sijunjung District Health Office Sumatera Barat show that only 20% of teenagers utilize reproductivehealth service available. Whereas cases in teenagers indicate that 9.2% of teenagers have had premarital sexualintercourse and 40% are married at teenage period (<20 years) and 10% is caused by unwanted pregnancy.Objective: To study the perception of teenagers about physical, process, economic and psychosocial factors asobstacles in the utilization of reproductive health service.Method: The study was observational with cross sectional design and descriptive quantitative approach thatused qualitative data obtained from indepth interview. Subject of the study were students of SMU 1 and 2 of 14-16 years old around the working area of Health Centers that have health service for teenagers with as many as131 respondents.Result and Discussion: Perception of teenagers about physical, process and economic factors showed that themajority had good perception so these factors were not obstacles for teenagers in utilizing reproductive healthservice. The majority of teenagers (68%) had bad perception about psychosocial factor so this was an obstacle inthe utilization of reproductive health service.Conclusion: Obstacles in the utilization of reproductive health service at the health center were caused bypsychosocial factor because of shame and unwillingness to tell the problem to staff that was considered asstrangers. Sedangkan kasus dan masalah kesehatan reproduksi menunjukkan 9,2% sudahberhubungan seks sebelum menikah, dan 40% menikah pada usia remaja (<20 tahun) serta 10% mengakibatkankehamilan tak dikehendaki.Tujuan: Untuk mempelajari persepsi remaja terhadap faktor fisik, proses, ekonomi dan psikososial untukmemanfaatkan pelayanan kesehatan reproduksi remaja.melalui wawancara mendalam.Subyek penelitian adalah siswa SMA kelas 1 dan 2 usia 14-16 tahun di wilayahkerja puskesmas sebanyak 131 responden.Hasil dan Pembahasan: Mayoritas remaja memiliki persepsi baik terhadap faktor fisik, proses, dan ekonomi. Tigafaktor bukanmerupakan penghambatmemperoleh layanan kesehatan reproduksi. Sementara itu faktor psikososialdianggap sebagai penghambat (68%) untuk memanfaatkan pelayanan kesehatan reproduksi.Kesimpulan: Hambatan pemanfaatan layanan kesehatan reproduksi adalah faktor psikososial karena malu dantidak percaya untuk menceritakan masalah pada petugas kesehatan yang tidak dikenal. Leucorhea is vaginal fluid, sometimes white or gray, can also colored yellow and green, smelling bad and foaming. Leucorhea is a frequent symptom experienced by most women. In Indonesia, about 75% of women had experienced on suffering leucorhea. Leucorhea is a common symptom of almost all reproductive health problem. In Indonesia, the risky age on suffering reproductive infections generally are still undergoing education in schools, so that we decide to conduct our research in senior high school which is SMP Negeri 3 Depok, based on the highest number of teenagers, in Depok, Sleman. The study was conducted to determine the relationship between genetalia’s hygiene behavior towards pathological leucorhea on 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Depok year by 2014. The type of research is an analytic observational with cross sectional aproach. The location is in SMP Negeri 3 Depok on May 9th 2014, with 7th grade students having menstruation record, have not suffered any reproductive health problem and not in stress condition as the subject, 53 in total. We use questionnaire as the instrument. The analysis use univariat and bivariat analysis. The result shows that most respondents had non-hygienic behavior (66.04%) and experienced phatological leucorhea (75.58%). Furthermore, there were 82.9% of respondents with non-hygienic behavior and 55.6% of subjects with hygienic behavior suffered pathological leucorhea. Therefore, given that subjects with genetalia’s hygiene behavior that is not hygienic to have a 1.5 times greater risk for experiencing pathological leucorhea compared with those in hygienic behavior. Chi-square value 4.5583, p value 0.03276, and PR 1.491.

Abstract Background: Decision making power of women is one of the essential factors which have influence on maternal health service utilizations. Women’s lack of decision over reproductive health service utilization affects their protection from unwanted child bearing, unsafe sex and their consequences. Objective፡ Assess decision-making power on RH-service utilization and its associated factors among married women in Illubabor zone, South West Ethiopia, 2018.Methods: Community based comparative cross-sectional study was conducted from May to July, 2018 among 584(urban 292 and rural 292) married women of reproductive age group. The data were entered into EPI data version 3.1 and exported to SPSS version 20 computer software for analysis. Both Bivariate and multivariable logistic regression analysis was used. Level of significance was declared at a p value of <0.05Results: A total of 288 in urban and 288 in rural married women were interviewed and yields a response rate of 98.6% both in urban and rural. Decision-making power in urban and rural was 55.2% [95% CI (52.7-64.6)] and 40.3% [95% CI (39.9-52.5)] respectively. In urban, being wives of government employed spouses [AOR 2.102 95% CI (1.16, 3.81)], knowledge on RH [AOR 3.33, 95% CI (1.20, 12.49)], above five years in marriage [AOR 1.91, 95% CI (1.19, 7.70)], were found to be predictors of women’s decision-making power.Conclusion and recommendation: Urban women had better power to make decisions than rural on reproductive health service utilization. The study revealed that in urban settings those women who had marriage duration five and more than five years, being wives of government employed spouses had more likely decision making power on reproductive health utilization but not in rural settings. Reproductive health interventions in the area should be promoted by considering empowering of married women on reproductive health service utilization.Article summary:Strength: the study was representative for urban and rural women on reproductive health service utilization.Limitation: the study is not without limitation.it has all limitation of cross-sectional studyIntroduction
