Empowerment is an effort to create changes in the human environment by using one's own efforts and abilities to meet the needs of life independently. Based on the situation analysis conducted in Muara Kumbang village, Kandis sub-district, Ogan Ilir district, it is very necessary to do community service with the theme of "Empowering Productive Economic Enterprises" (UEP) to improve the community's economic business. The PKM program was held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Muara Kumbang village, Kandis District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. There were 25 participants in the training program. The method used consists of interviews and observations of participants regarding their understanding of the empowerment of productive economic enterprises. The results of the interview revealed that only about 40% of the participants understood it. In the final interview and observation, it showed changes and improvements, namely the increasing number of participants who understood the empowerment of productive economic enterprises, from only 40% to 80%.

ABSTRACTThe hijab sewing skills training program is seen as a strategic educational skill to be implemented for women because hijab sewing can be applied for their own needs or become a side business. This skill, if properly trained and mastered, can become a form of business that can help the family economy and create jobs for the community. The village community service activities were carried out in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit Subdistrict, Siak Regency, Riau Province with the target audience is the housewives of the village. They have given basic knowledge in choosing materials for the hijab. Then skills trained was held, starting how to make pet and headscarves, cutting fabrics according to the patterns that have been made, and sewing headscarves with various existing patterns. Keterampilan ini bila dilatih dan dikuasai dengan baik dapat menjadi bentuk usaha yang dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga dan penciptaan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bunsur Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak Propinsi Riau dengan khalayak sasarannya adalah Ibu-ibu rumah tangga desa tersebut. Mereka diberi pengetahuan dasar dalam memilih bahan untuk jilbab. Kemudian diadakan pelatihan keterampilan, mulai cara membuat pola pet dan jilbab, memotong kain sesuai dengan pola yang sudah dibuat, dan menjahit jilbab dengan bermacam pola yang telah ada. Setelah jahitan selesai, kemudian dilakukan pemeriksaan terhadap hasil jahitan sehingga layak untuk dijual dan dipasarkan. Kata Kunci: Desa Bunsur, home industri, pelatihan menjahit, jilbab

Galur Subdistrict is an area that has abundant art and tradition potential and is in great demandby its people. Unfortunately, the art performances and traditions that are carried out only aim merelyto continue what have been done through generations. On the other hand, the influx of modernarts has become a threat to preserving traditional culture, especially among young people who aresupposed to be the guardians of the traditions. Tis encourages Javanese Literature Study Programto carry out a community service program consisting of a series of training program as the StudyProgram’s concern and real action for cultural preservation.The training program is carried out through mentoring in motivating, counseling, education,discussion, and consultation. By using such mentoring techniques, it is expected that the result of theprogram will be optimum, namely raising public awareness to increase language literacy, knowledgeof literature, and the knowledge of the art performances they have. Abstract. This training program is implemented aimed at improving the creativity of Mekarasih children and utilizing waste used bamboo into crafts as well as learning media into a piggy bank that has artistic value and value to also have selling value.This training was held in Mekarasih Village on August 29-30, 2020. In the implementation of the piggy bank making program was attended by 7 children of Mekarasih Village, 2 students, and accompanied by a Guiding Lecturer 1 person. The methods of implementation of this training program include (1) Socialization of material delivery to participants, (2) Implementation of the practice of making used bamboo waste into a piggy bank, (3) Evaluation of activities including evaluation of the manufacturing process, and results. The result of this community service in the form of crafts from used bamboo waste into a piggy bank that has artistic value and selling value as well as for children's learning media to motivate to get used to saving early in addition to increasing the selling value of bamboo waste.

Catfish (Mytus nemurus) is a local fish with high commercial value and used as a food raw material for the traditional food in South Sumatra called pindang. The training aimed to enhance the Fish Farmer Group (Pokdakan) skills in Palembang City, which is part of community service at the Muhammadiyah University of Palembang. The method is divided into two, i.e., presented material and demonstrations, followed by a training program on Mytus nemurus breeding. The training was to produce catfish larvae, increase Pokdakan skills to produce catfish fingerling that improves the economic welfare of aquaculture actors, and increase Pokdakan's awareness of sustainable local fish production.

The sustainability of the livestock business does not only depend on the success of the maintenance system which aims at increasing productivity, but also on the ability to process the resulting livestock waste. Livestock waste is the main source of quality degradation for the environment, this occurs due to the presence of ammonia and methane gas which is formed from the decomposition of organic matter. Ammonia along with other gases can cause acid rain, while methane gas causes a greenhouse effect. This community service partner is a farmer who is part of the "Sido Makmur" beef cattle group in Umbulrejo village, Umbulsari sub-district, Jember district. The purpose of this community service activity is to transfer knowledge and technology regarding livestock waste processing to be used as biogas. The selection of waste treatment topics is based on a situation analysis of the "Sido Makmur" livestock group. The results of the situation analysis show that generally livestock manure is not processed and is left around the stables and there are some group members who have difficulty buying LPG fuel because it is considered quite expensive. The implementation of the service consists of several activitie, the first was outreach activities, demonstrations / practices and assistance of community service activities. The results of the community service survey which have shown that the application of technology in the processing or utilization of livestock manure into a useful material that even has economic value will support the creation of an environmentally friendly livestock system or zerro waste system, besides that it will also improve the welfare of breeders through minimizing the cost of purchasing fuel.

The problems faced by teenagers in recent times have focused more on various delinquency committed by teenagers ranging from drug problems, brawls, bullying cases and other problems. The increasing number of problems faced by adolescents indicates the lack of attention from parents and society to the development of adolescent character. Facing this problem, one solution that can be used is to strengthen the character of youth through character education. Character education is considered the best choice in preparing future generations because it can be both preventive and curative. In this community service program, the training method is used to convey the basics of character education. This Character Personality Training Program aims to invite teenagers to recognize their potential and be able to interact well with their social environment. This training program was given to 30 teenagers who are members of the Padang Japang Mosque Youth Association (IRMPJ). The results of the training show that there is an understanding of adolescents about the importance of understanding themselves and having good character in socializing. Besides that, a continuous program is also needed so that the stages of the material provided can be carried out perfectly.

Target khusus pada program pelatihan motivasi dan ESQ ini adalah siswa dapat lulus Ujian Nasional seiring dengan meningkatnya motivasi belajar siswa. AbstractNursing care for patients needs to be given holistic care including biopsychososiospiritual. Based on situation analysis through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), it was found that the majority of ICCU room nurses at RSUD Pasar Rebo chose spiritual nursing training priorities (100%). Community service activities are carried out by STIKes Jayakarta Lecturers and STIKes Jayakarta Nursing Student. The worship guide module for the sick has been compiled and has received a Copyright certificate. Spiritual Nursing Training using a module was conducted on December 24, 2019 for 17 nurses in the ICCU room. There were 7 participants who took the pre test and post test. The pretest knowledge of the category was poor 85.7%, fair 14.3%. The increase in knowledge occurred during the post-test, namely a good category of 71.4% and fair category of 28.6%. Psychomotor assessment of the practice of worship of patients against 13 nurses obtained psychomotor pre-test poor 30.8%, good 69.2% and good post-test 100%.

The program for fattening and breeding of fat-tailed sheep (EG) in Semanding District, Tuban Regency, was collaboration work among Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Airlangga, Gemah Ripah, and Mandiri’s Breeding Coomunity, Tuban Regency. The program was conducted by veterinarians, who are experts in animal reproduction, animal feeding and health, camping and its sanitation, assisted by local people. The activities included training on livestock breeding, demonstration of animal feeding and caging, vaccination, livestock maintenance at pre- and post-production, and also the health examination and treatment of sick fat-tailed sheep. There was also presentation about medicines used for animal fattening, i.e. Bio-N-Plus, Premix Minerals, and vitamin B-Complex. These drugs were given to the participants to accelerate the cattle growth. In addition, a simulation on how to breed fat-tailed sheep was also demonstrated to the participants. At the end of the program, a package was given to Gemah Ripah dan Mandiri’s Breeding Community. It consisted of six fat-tailed sheep, 3 quintals of concentrate feeds used for about four months feeding, the money for renovating the animal cages, vitamins, medicines, and vaccines. This training program was successfully increased the ability of participants, Gemah Ripah and Mandiri’s Breeding Coomunity, to breed the fat-tailed sheep in a relatively good way. It was supported by the facts that the cattle had increased body weights and there was no observed risk of sickness and animal death. AbstrakProgram penggemukan dan budidaya ternak domba ekor gemuk (EG) di Kecamatan Semanding, Kabupaten Tuban merupakan bentuk kerja sama antara Lembaga Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Universitas Airlangga dengan Kelompok Ternak Gemah Ripah dan Mandiri, Tuban. Pelaksanaan program ini melibatkan dokter hewan, yang merupakan ahli reproduksi, ahli pakan ternak, ahli kesehatan ternak serta ahli sanitasi dan perkandangan, serta dibantu oleh tenaga lokal. Kegiatan yang dilakukan antara lain meliputi: pelatihan budidaya ternak domba EG, peragaan pembuatan pakan dan kandang, pemberian vaksin, pemeliharaan pra- dan pasca- produksi, serta pemeriksaan dan pengobatan domba yang sakit. Pada kesempatan ini, juga diperkenalkan obat untuk penggemukan domba, yaitu: Bio-N-Plus, Premix Mineral, dan vitamin B-Kompleks. Bahan tersebut diberikan dengan tujuan untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan domba. Selain itu, juga dilakukan simulasi beternak domba EG bagi para peternak. Pada akhir pelatihan telah diberikan paket ternak domba EG kepada kelompok peternak Gemah Ripah Dan Mandiri, yaitu berupa: 6 ekor domba EG, 3 kwintal pakan konsentrat yang bisa digunakan untuk empat bulan, biaya renovasi kandang domba EG, serta vitamin, obat-obatan, dan vaksin. Dari hasil pelaksanaan program ini, para peternak telah berhasil memelihara domba EG dengan cara yang lebih baik dengan tanda pertumbuhan berat badan ternak yang semakin meningkat, serta tidak ada resiko sakit dan kematian hewan ternak.
