Abstract. Traditional Health Services is a treatment or therapy using methods and medication that is based on the experience and skills of our ancestors that can be accounted for and is in accordance with the norms prevailing in the community. One example is acupressure, ehich is a healing method that uses pressure on certain points of the body or acupuncture points. This type of service has been regulated in various laws on traditional health. However, not all Health Centers provide this service. In South Jakarta City, there are only two Health Centers that provide acupressure services. This is a qualitative research, and aims to analyze the policies and implementation of the implementation of acupressure services in the Health Centers and its obstacles. The data was collected through in-depth interviews and document review. In this study we found that the quality and quantity of health workers trained in acupressure and their comprehension of the program was inadequate. In addition, the room for acupressure is only found in health centers that have provided this service. Communication is still a problem, because there is no regulation socialization regarding the regulation of acupressure services for policy implementers. However, 60% of patients were satisfied with the services provided.

ABSTRACT Objective: To analyze the repercussions on the life of the elderly after joining a coexistence center and the existing challenges from the perspective of the participants and their families. Methods: Qualitative research conducted with 16 elderly from a coexistence center and 14 family members. Data were collected through individual interviews and subjected to content analysis. Results: Two thematic categories were identified: “Before and after: changes in the life of the elderly after joining the coexistence center” and “Aspects needed to improve care in the coexistence center”. Final Considerations: The benefits of older people’s participation in the service are evidenced by changes in lifestyle and interrelationships. However, there is a need to expand assistance in these institutions, with a multidisciplinary team trained in gerontogeriatric care, as well as to consider the importance of nursing as a science of care and insert it in this service.

One of the programs carried out to overcome these problems is health services in Panti Wredha. This health service is very important because it is able to realize a healthy, happy and productive old age for the elderly. However, there are still elderly people in Panti Wredha who do not receive assistance in health services due to the lack of health workers in the home for the elderly where they live. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the provision of health services to the elderly at Panti Wredha Salatiga. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Respondents in this study amounted to 13 participants consisting of doctors, nurses, cooks, the person in charge of data collection for the elderly in the elderly at home for the elderly and health workers who handle the elderly program in Salatiga City. Data analysis techniques were carried out by making interview transcripts, coding, determining themes and writing conclusions. This research was conducted during January-March 2020. The results of this study found that elderly health services in Salatiga City were not optimal. The provision of health services for the elderly at the Panti Wredha Salatiga is still dominated by the work of the nursing home independently. The health of ice, which functions as a health service provider, has not yet participated in this role. The health office focuses on implementing health service programs at the puskesmas because there is no cross-sectoral collaboration between the Panti Wredha in Salatiga City and the Salatiga City Health Office. So it is necessary to hope for cross-sectoral collaboration between the government and the private sector so that elderly health services in Salatiga City are mutually fulfilled.
