The article deals with the scientific and theoretical substantiation of K.D. Ushinskiy views on the realization of the tasks of physical education and the formation of a healthy lifestyle of the younger generation. The issue of physical education of children was considered by them as an integral part of the harmonious development of the individual. The system of means of physical education, which consists of physical exercises, natural factors and hygienic factors, is disclosed. The views of K.D. Ushinskiy on the problem of training pedagogical staff on the implementation of physical education.

The article presents the results of research to inoculation a steady interest in physical education for students of the pedagogical university, using the example of currently fashionable sports. The observation results allowed the authors using natural factors and street workout platforms to form professional pedagogical abilities and skills for future teachers who can be trained background interest in new sports. In particular, the authors against the background of visual examples of physical exercises of the city’s population in the Park of culture and recreation, students were informed about the importance of practice run before training on the development of physical qualities. They gave a detailed description of the performance of general developmental exercises for the purpose of health improvement, the development of physical qualities. In the main part of the lesson, students received not only theoretical knowledge, but also learned how to perform and train the simplest exercises for the development of physical qualities. The results of the experiment allowed the authors to increase students’ interest in a healthy lifestyle and teach them basic principles and methods of training.

The article identifies scientific and pedagogical tools and content of physical education and basics of health of students in the process of combat horting, reveals guidelines for organizing the educational process of combat horting in higher education and the formation of a healthy lifestyle of student youth. Theoretical analysis of the problem of formation of a healthy way of life of students and conditions of application of improving physical exercises of combat horting is carried out. The implementation of the content of physical education and the basics of student health in the process of combat horting is provided by adequate to the physical activity of students methods of building training sessions. The presentation of the main material is based on the provisions of the National Strategy for the Development of Education in Ukraine, the Concept of National-Patriotic Education of Children and Youth, other guiding state documents on the teaching of the discipline «Physical Education». This requires new views on the planning and implementation of a modern educational process in combat horting and rehabilitation of students of higher education. This work examines the issues of increasing the effectiveness of physical education of students at the university, their attitude to physical education, the formation of a healthy lifestyle. The following indicators are analyzed: hardening procedures, daily walks in the fresh air in order to increase physical activity, independent performance of physical exercises by students during the academic year. 110 students of the first and second years of full-time education, involved in compulsory physical education in the main and preparatory medical groups, were evaluated. It was noted that only 17% of students regularly do morning exercises, 12% of students perform hardening procedures constantly, 26% are engaged in sports sections.

Healthy lifestyle knowledge becomes a foundation that should be owned by elementary school students to improve their life wellbeing level in the future. This research aimed to find out the impact of Physical Education learning on the healthy life style knowledge of elementary school students. The research used an ex-post facto descriptive method on the population consisting of 112 grade six students of elementary public schools in Cimahi City. The samples of the study were 78 elementary students chosen through a convenience sampling technique. The instrument used was The Clean and Healthy Behavior Scale (TCHBS) with the reliability p=0.87. The data analysis used a descriptive percentage and one sample t-test on the SPSS 19.0 program. The result shows that the Physical Education instruction significantly affects the healthy life style knowledge of elementary school students, mostly on the student knowledge of dietary habit and physical activity.  The healthy lifestyle knowledge of elementary school students was not merely the responsibility of Physical Education teachers, but also their parents and surroundings. A further research is needed to examine the effectiveness of Physical Education program related to the school support and gender in improving knowledge as well as to implement the healthy lifestyle of the students.

The paper considers the problem of today is a bad attitude to physical education in higher education. The health of every citizen is the main slogan of the country's policy. The human body is the only complex biological system that constantly interacts with environmental conditions. Health is a state of physical, moral, psycho- emotional, social, intellectual and harmonious development. Health is a reserve of organ capacity that needs to be improved during regular exercise training and a healthy lifestyle. Physical culture and sports are part of the general culture. As a safeguard, it helps to get rid of the negative aspects of life that hinder the development of the individual in a harmonious relationship with society. The level of physical activity of the country's population, by age, is below the minimum allowable. Hypodynamia is one of the leading causes of death and disability. The strategy for the development of physical culture, recommendation for the development of physical education and sports among students are state documents. They are developed with the participation of the specialists and sent for implementation to institutions. The help to direct forces to a new positive, responsible attitude ti physical training, physical working capacity of our future experts, heads, citizens of the country. The statistics provided in the documents finally prove that the crisis has reached significant proportions and may lead to negative consequences for Ukrainians and their future. Many factors and conditions can change the attitude of young people to physical culture and sports to a positive vision. The main thing is for young people to know that all the measures aimed at them have been implemented.

Modern requirements leave their mark on the physical education and healthy lifestyle of the younger generation. The number of students studying physical education and sports both at universities and throughout the country has sharply decreased, which has negatively affected their morale and health. Noting the importance of the principles and rules of "fair play" as a spiritual value in the strategic programs of the education sector, it is necessary to pay special attention to their dissemination and rooting. This is the only way to increase the potential of the country's economy, by establishing the principles of "fair play" and including them into the strategic plans of each educational institution.

The aim: The article presents the theoretical substantiation of the value-motivational component of a healthy lifestyle, the diagnostic procedure, the results of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the real state of its formation in students of modern universities; the pedagogical tools of health-oriented, containing interactive and reflexively oriented forms and methods of educating a healthy lifestyle are presented; specific examples of their implementation are given. Materials and methods: A set of general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, generalization) and diagnostic standardized methods (M. Rokich’s “Value orientations” method, R. Berezivska’s questionnaire “Attitude to health” (value-motivational scale), questionnaire “Motivational component of a healthy lifestyle” (N. Voloshko, V. Rybalka). Results: A healthy lifestyle is a way of life based on the value attitude to maintaining, improving and strengthening health through motivated activities aimed at improving living conditions, which ensures quality self-realization of the individual in all spheres of life. An essential component of the structure of a healthy lifestyle is the value-motivational component as a set of motives, needs, attitudes to maintain one’s own health and fostering a sense of responsibility for it. The pedagogical tools of health orientation are a set of interactive and reflexively oriented forms and methods of forming a healthy lifestyle, which are based on the partner subject-subject interaction of teacher and students, their dialogue, polylogy and cooperation. Conclusions:Theoretical understanding and the results of diagnostic research made it possible to determine the nature and structure of a healthy lifestyle, to determine the real state of formation of its value-motivational component and to develop pedagogical tools of health orientation.

Modern system of physical education of students of non-physical universities is a priority in the formation of physical culture as a type of general culture of young people, healthy lifestyle and sporting style of life activities of future specialists in production, science, culture. The formation of a socially active personality in harmony with physical development is an important condition for the preparation of university graduates for professional activity in the society developing according to the laws of the market economy. The relationship between physical development and moral formation of the individual in the process of physical exercise is scientifically substantiated in the theory and methodology of physical education.

We justified the need to understand the significance of physical education and sport for a person. Every person wants to live his life happily ever after. Therefore, everything must be done to maintain health until it is too late. Usually, due to the wrong lifestyle, a person has poor health, nervous disorders, diseases. Does a person do everything possible to maintain his health? Many diseases can be avoided if you properly build your lifestyle. Sport and physical education are not only a healthy lifestyle, but in general a normal and healthy life, which opens up more and more opportunities for the realization of forces and talents. We considered the issue of the importance of physical activity in human life, preservation and promotion of health. We discussed the problems of a sedentary lifestyle. We analyzed the need to preserve and promote health through physical activity.
