The study, entitled The Culinary Culture-Based Local Content Learning Model (MPMLBBK) is a study that refers to the Humanistic theory in the psycholinguistics of language learning. This model emphasizes the importance of human or student feelings (sipakatau concept), both in the mindset, feelings and behavior of students in decision making, as well as providing opportunities to actualize themselves to make learning meaningful so that in the future students can be useful in the midst of society. This study aims to describe the appropriate approach to learning models in teaching local content, especially the Bugis regional language in a fun, creative and innovative manner based on the traditional culinary culture of the Bugis people.

Local content mediated PBL model is a facility to make students active and also as a media to deliver massages in learning process that make an independent student. By knowing student’s learning style, the teacher can implement the suitable learning model. So it can increase the learning result. Based on the result of this research we found the effect of learning model of local content mediated PBL to the learning result. The learning result is different between students who have kinesthetic learning style and student who have auditory learning style. Given the existence interaction between learning models of local content mediated PBL and learning style to the student’s learning result it can be concluded that by knowing student’s learning style, the teacher can implement the appropriate lesson model that ultimately could increase students’ learning result.

This study aimed to examine the development of Mandarin learning models using AKK (Active, Creative, Communicative) based on cartoon media for reading comprehension learning, which contains (1) the process of developing the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media, ( 2) the quality of the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media, (3) the effectiveness of the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin text for tenth graders. This developmental research uses the Research and Development (R&D) model proposed by Borg and Gall. Based on the use of this R&D model, the data collection of this study used questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The results of this study are the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin language gets some results (1) the process of developing the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media runs smoothly and appropriately, (2) the quality of the AKK learning model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin language is very suitable as seen from the results of the RPP validator, material, instruments, and media validation, (3) the effectiveness of the AKK learning model (Active, Creative , Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin language, obtained results for products of 5.77 with a significance level of 5% and for the results of observations made continue to increase from 85%, 82.5%, 95%, and 97.5% based on Likerrt scale is very strong. The AKK Learning Model (Active, Creative, Communicative) through cartoon media for reading comprehension learning to master Mandarin language is very appropriate to be used in the learning process and there is an increase in the learning outcomes of students in class X IPS 1 of SMA Khadijah Surabaya.

This first chapter will introduce the didactic ergonomics approach and present the related computer-mediated language learning model. We will first consider how to tackle the problem of describing reality in all its complexity, as originally developed by Edgar Morin (1990). The initial review of theories will contribute to a better understanding of the nature of complexity and will eventually lead us to advocate a multi-referenced approach to learning. We will then proceed to define the concept of didactic ergonomics (Bertin 2000, 2001). We will show how the original didactic ergonomics model we suggest is articulated with current CALL research and how it can help bridge the gap between theoretical description and actual practice in the field.

This study aims to improve Indonesian language learning activities through the application of discovery learning models to class VII.1 students of SMPN 3 Koto Baru. Classroom action research was carried out for two cycles, with each cycle holding two meetings. Each meeting is held by applying the discovery learning model. As a data collection tool is the result of observation of student learning activities in cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results of research obtained on student learning activities at the initial observation of 68% categories (less active), increased 80% categories (active) in the first cycle, and increased again 85% (active) category in cycle II. Learning activities of students learning Indonesian experience an improvement from the first cycle to the second cycle, this shows that the discovery learning model can be used as an alternative learning to improve student learning activities.

The aim of this research was to (1) compare the effectiveness of OIDDE (Orientation, Identify, Discussion, Decision, and Engage in Behavior) learning model and conventional learning models in improving bioethics knowledge; (2) compare the effectiveness of OIDDE learning model and conventional learning models in improving ethical decision-making abilities; (3) comparing the effectiveness of OIDDE learning model and conventional learning model in improving ethical attitudes. The research design was a quasi experimental non-equivalent control group design pre-test post-test. The research population was the second semester students of the biology pre-service teachers’ department of biology education of the FTTE Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Sampling was done by simple random sampling and obtained 76 students were devided into 37 students in the experimental group and 39 students in the control group. Data collecting is carried out through bioethical knowledge tests, and ethical decision- making, and scoring of ethical attitudes. Data were analyzed by ANCOVA, Kolmogorv-Smirnov, and unpaired T test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the effectiveness of achieving improved bioethics knowledge, ethical decision making, and ethical attitudes between OIDDE and conventional learning models, namely the effectiveness of OIDDE learning models higher than conventional learning models. Keywords: bioethics knowledge, biology pre-service teachers, ethical attitudes, ethical decisions, OIDDE learning model.
