The purpose of this article is to describe the phonological process in the prefix /me-/ in Indonesian especially on the morphophonemic aspects. Morphonemic can be interpreted as a new word formation process. This process must be seen from the point of view of phonology and morphology. Phonological aspects play an important role in the morphophonic process where distinctive features are used to present the results. This paper used transformational generative phonological theory. The method used a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the analysis show that the phonological process that occurs in morphophonemic prefixes / me- / in Indonesian is the addition of consonants and also assimilation of consonant-vowels Keywords: prefix /me-/, morphophonemic, distinctive features

Indonesian and Malaysian are languages that are often debated because they have similarities and similarities. This happens because Indonesian and Malaysian are rooted in Malay. Problems related to Indonesian and Malaysians are interesting to study. The topic discussed in this study is the use of Indonesian and Malaysian personal pronouns. The main objective of this study is to compare the use of Indonesian and Malaysian personal pronouns from a semantic point of view. That is, the authors compare them in terms of lexical meaning. This is because the root of a vocabulary is the meaning of the dictionary. In this study, the type of qualitative method with a descriptive approach was chosen as the data analysis method.. The data collected is in the form of first, second, and third personal pronoun vocabulary. The data sources for this study are Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia and Kamus Dewan Bahasa Malaysia. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the use of Indonesian and Malaysian pronouns had differences and similarities. The difference can be seen from the number of meanings. In Indonesian, there are as many as 15 meanings, while in Malaysia there are as many as 20 meanings. The similarities can be seen in each personal pronoun.

This article examines the marketing communication strategies used by Lemospirés Batik to attract consumer interest. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach. The research data were analyzed with the perspective of the marketing communication mix theory. The results of this study describe that the strategy taken by Lemospirés Batik to market and introduce its products is (1) the use of advertisements on social and non-social media, (2) organizing exhibitions to do direct marketing, (3) giving discounts and giveaways. to create sales promotions, (4) creating distinctive features on products that are part of personal selling, (5) using public relations to build relationships, and (6) using social media Instagram and Facebook to market products with the concept of storytelling.

<p class="Isi">Conflict within a team of student teachers during their internship is one problem that needs to be managed and overcome in order to make their performance better. Student teachers are expected to establish good communication and resolve conflicts wisely. The subjects of this study were six student teachers who had internships in a YSKI school in Semarang from July to November 2016. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results are presented in descriptive narration to explain the conflict and how it was resolved.</p><p><em>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK:  Konflik dalam tim mahasiswa guru internship merupakan salah satu masalah yang dapat harus dikelola dan diatasi agar tidak meluas dan mengganggu kinerja mereka dalam praktek mengajar di sekolah. Mahasiswa guru diharapkan dapat membangun komunikasi yang baik dan menyelesaikan konflik dengan bijaksana. Subyek penelitian ini adalah enam mahasiswa guru yang melakukan internship di sekolah YSKI Semarang periode Juli-November 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya disajikan secara deskriptif narasi menjelaskan terjadinya konflik dan mengatasinya.</em></p><p><em> </em></p>

One of the processes of word formation is reduplication which words or morphemes are repeated. This study focuses on reduplication in Jamee language. This descriptive qualitative study aims at finding out forms of reduplication and the meaning contained in the reduplication in Jamee. The data were collected through ethnographic interview by recording ten native speakers of the Jamee language who live in Labuhanhaji sub-district, South Aceh. They were chosen through purposive sampling. A total of 261 reduplication words were obtained during the interviews, and they were analysed using three stages; data reduction, data display and data verification. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there are four types of reduplication in the Jamee language: full reduplication, partial reduplication, lexicalized reduplication, and affixed reduplication. The study also shows that reduplication in Jamee language can be in the forms of verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and pronominals. Despite previous studies show that there is no infix in the Jamee language, hence it does occur in this study even though it is rarely used in this language. It is assumed that it may have come into the language through the borrowing from Bahasa Indonesia.

 This research observes about the slang words used by teenage artist in Indonesian by using the Yule George theory to the type of word formation process, and Leech G on the meaning of slang words used by Indonesian teenage artist to analyze the slang words. This research examines the types and meaning of slang words that many Indonesian teenage artist use to find out how the types and meaning of slang words are used. This research implies the theory of Yule George’s slang type and the meaning of Leech G’s slang which has several theories, including for the types of word formation process there are acronym, blending, clipping and coinage, while for the meaning of slang words there are denotative and connotative meaning. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. Researchers also applied Yule George and Leech G’s theory to this research to provide a better understanding of how the types and meanings of slang words that are widely used by Indonesian teenage artist. Researchers collected data from capturing slang words screens on the Instagram application. The result is that the acronym type of slang word formation process is more or often used by Indonesian teenage artist, while the meaning of slang words that appears and is used the most is the connotative meaning.Keywords: Slang Words, Indonesian Artist Teenagers, Instagram Application.

This paper is a qualitative descriptive research which investigates the processes of word formation and their influence to part of speech of the data. The data source in this study is Instagram captions of Sharena Delon. The method of collecting data is by observation. The method of analyzing data is agih and padan method from Sudaryanto. The author uses the theory ofO’Grady which divides word formation process into 10 types, i.e.derivation, compounding, conversion, clipping, blends, backformation, acronym, onomatopoeia, coinage, and inflection. The research uses the theory of Carter & McCarthy to show the change of part of speech of data. The result of this research shows that based on O’Grady’s and Carter & McCarthy’s theory. There are 30 types of word formation process found in Instagram of Sharena Delon. Three types are by derivation process, 2 types by compounding process, 2 types by conversion process, 6 types by clipping process, 6 types by blends process, 2 types by backformation process, 3 types by acronym process, 3 types by onomatopoeia process, 1 type by coinage process, and two types by inflection process. Some data have change of part of speech because of word formation process and some do not.

Abstract: The speaking skills of BIPA 1 learners include the ability to pronounce Indonesian phonemes accurately. The accuracy of phoneme pronunciation is not only intended for fluency in speaking, but so that students are able to distinguish the meaning of words. By utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, this study aims to describe the pronunciation of BIPA learners in Egypt in a speaking ability test. This pronunciation description indicates the ability of BIPA learners to recognize vocabulary, the meaning of words, as well as the difficulty of pronunciation in tests of speaking ability. The results of this study indicate that beginner BIPA learners in Egypt have difficulty at the phonological level, namely the phonetic articulation of consonant sounds / b /, / p /, / ŋ /, / ɲ /, / k /, / ʔ / and consistently having difficulty to map sound / b / to / p /. In addition, it tends to double the sound / ŋ / with / ɡ /, also avoiding the sound / ɲ /.Abstrak: Kemahiran berbicara pemelajar BIPA 1 mencakup kemampuan melafalkan fonem bahasa Indonesia dengan jitu. Ketepatan pelafalan fonem tidak semata ditujukan untuk kelancaran berbicara, namun agar pemelajar mampu membedakan makna kata. Dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelafalan pemelajar BIPA di Mesir dalam tes kemampuan berbicara.  Deskripsi pelafalan ini mengindikasikan kemampuan pemelajar BIPA dalam mengenali kosakata, makna kata-kata, serta kesulitan pelafalan dalam tes kemampuan berbicara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemelajar BIPA pemula di Mesir memiliki kesulitan pada level fonologis, yaitu pada artikulasi fonetik pada bunyi konsonan /b/, /p/, /ŋ/, /ɲ/, /k/, /ʔ/ dan secara konsisten kesulitan untuk memetakan bunyi /b/ ke /p/. Selain itu, cenderung menggandakan bunyi /ŋ/ dengan /ɡ/, juga menghindari bunyi /ɲ/.

This study aims to analyze the Indonesian language syntactic interference on English Speaking Skills of English Language Students. The research subjects were students of semester 3 at a non-English language college in Garut. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with equivalent and distribution methods. Meanwhile, the corpus was obtained by using the listening technique (SBLC), recording and taking notes from students' conversation assignments about their past activities in the form of videos. The results showed that the syntactic interference in this study includes the inaccuracy of word forms that are influenced by the past, inaccurate subject-verb agreements, inaccuracies, absence of articles, sentence patterns that do not match S + V + O, inaccurate use of the words 'no' and 'not'.Keywords: interference, syntax, speaking skills

This study aimed at determining the law and urgency of cash waqf in fiqh point of view in accordance with some views of fiqh scholars related to cash waqf. This research used a qualitative-descriptive approach with content analysis techniques and library research. The results showed that the scholars hold different views in deciding the law of cash waqf. Some scholars hold that the cash waqf is permissible. Some others hold that it is makruh (undesirable). There are even some scholars who forbid it. The author inclines toward the view that asserts its permissibility. The urgency and target of cash waqf is improvement of the economy and benefit in the world and the hereafter.

This research was motivated by the use of abbreviations in communicating using Javanese. People prefer to use abreviations because they are shorter, faster, easier to remember, and easier to memorize. The purpose of this study is to classify the forms of abreviation, describe the patterns of the formation process, and describe the meanings of abreviations in the Javanese language, namely aferesis, syncope, and apocopy. Abreviation is a process of dating one or several parts of lexeme or a combination of lexemes that form a new form in the form of words. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach. The method of collecting data used proficient methods and referring methods. The data sources of this research were magazine articles in the form of written data of Javanese lexicons in the articles containing abreviations. In this study the abbreviations in the form of apheresis were found to be the highest number compared to abbreviations in the form of syncope and apocopy.
