Abstrack: Nurse’s performance is a quality and quantity work result accomplished by a nurse in fulfilling her duties according to her responsibilities in providing nursing care to the patient overall. There is some factors that influence the nurse performance,one of the factor is leadership style. The research purpose is to identify the leadership style og head room to the nurse and nurse performance to the patient and to analyze whether there is any relation of leadership style of head room with nurse performance in inpatient room of GMIM Pancaran Kasih Hospital Manado. The research design used is descriptive analysis method through cross-sectional. The sample consists of 61 respondents obtained by using non random sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The result of the research significant result was obtained at ρ-value=1,000 >(0,05). The condusion is that there is no relation between leadership style of head room with nurse performance in inpatient room of GMIM Pancaran Kasih Hospital Manado.Keywords: Head office leadership style, nurse performanceAbstrak: Kinerja perawat adalah hasil kerja secara kualitas dan kuantitas yang dicapai oleh seorang perawat dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sesuai dengan tanggung jawabnya dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan kepada pasien secara menyeluruh. Ada berapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja perawat salah satunya yaitu gaya kepemimpinan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan pada perawat dan kinerja perawat pada pasien serta menganalisis Apakah Ada Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Ruangan Dengan Kinerja Perawat Diruang Rawat Inap RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Desain penelitian yang digunakan Deskriptif Analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel berjumlah 61 responden yang didapat dengan menggunakan tehnik non random sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai signifikan p-value = 1,000 > (0,05) Kesimpulan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dengan kinerja perawat diruang rawat inap RSU GMIM Panacaran Kasih Manado.Kata Kunci : Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Ruangan, Kinerja Perawat

Remuneration or reward, which is part of compensation management, may affect the morale and motivation of employees to do a better work performance. This research aimed to analyze the correlation between remuneration and work motivation with nurses’ job satisfaction in PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital. This study was a quantitative one with cross sectional approach. The sample of this study consisted of 123 nurses which was selected using proportional random sampling method. Questionnaires were used to gather data and the result analyzed with path analysis method. The result showed that remuneration variable had a positive and significant influences on nurses’ job satisfaction (p=0,007), work motivation (p=0,003) while work motivation had a positive significant influences on nurses’ job satisfaction (p=0,001). The result of path analysis indicated that the direct influence of remuneration on nurses’ job satisfaction is higher compared to its indirect influence. Optimalization of nurses’ work motivation and job satisfaction on the implementation of a professional nursing care in PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping hospital can be improved by adjusting the remuneration or compensation of their work services.

Latar Belakang : Bertambahnya masalah gangguan jiwa diperlukan peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan terutama keperawatan. Penanganan gangguan jiwa diperlukan sikap caring yaitu memberikan perhatian terhadap seseorang. Salah satu cerminan sikap caring adalah berkomunikasi dengan baik. Tujuan Penelitian : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Persepsi, Motivasi, dan Gaya kepemimpinan Dengan Sikap Caring Perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah 2018. Metode Penelitian : Desain penelitian ini adalah correlation dengan pendekatan cross sectional dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah tanggal 11 Mei 2018 – 4 Juni 2018. Jumlah sampel menggunakan Tehnik Purposive sampling yaitu 70 responden. Alat ukur kuesioner. Analisis bivariate menggunakan uji Somers’d. Hasil Penelitian : Persepsi p-value<α (0,035<0,05), Motivasi p-value>α (0,080>0,05), gaya Kepemimpinan p-value<α (0,043<0,05) dan analisa multivariat menggunakan analisis Regresi Berganda 4 Variabel, tidak terdapat hubungan secara partial maupun simultan antara persepsi, motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan dengan sikap caring. Kesimpulan :Terdapat hubungan antara persepsi dengan sikap caring perawat, tidak ada hubungan antara motivasi dengan sikap caring perawat, ada hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dengan sikap caring perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah. Saran : Hasil penelitian bagi Stikes Bethesda, dapat dijadikan refrensi tambahan tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap caring perawat.   Kata Kunci : persepsi, motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan, caring     ABSTRACT    Background : Caring is giving attention to others. One reflection of caring is to maintain good communication. In mental nursing, maintaining a good communication is a key of successful mental nursing care practice. Caring can be influenced by nurses, in terms of perception and motivation and it can also be influenced by unit manager’s leadership style. Objective : To know the correlation between perception, motivation and leadership style with caring attitude of nurses in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 2018. Method : It was a correlation research with cross sectional approach done in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 11th May – 4th June 2018. The sample was 70 respondents taken with total sampling technique. Data was collected with questionnaire. Analysis was done with Kendall’s Tau test. Result : The result shows df 3, p-value > α (0,388>0,05), (0,170>0,05), (0,725>0,05) and multivariate analysis with 4 variable multiple regression shows there is no correlation either partially or simultaneously between perception, motivation, leadership style to caring attitude. Conslusion: There is no correlation between perception, motivation and leadership style with caring attitude of nurses in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 2018. Suggestion : This research can be an additional reference about factors that influence caring attitude of nurses.   Keyword : perception, motivation, leadership style, caring

Nurses’ obedience in implementing the nursing care documentation is still a phenomenon that occurs in several hospitals in Indonesia. This study attempts to analyze the nurses’ obedience in documenting the nursing care. This quantitative study used a correlation method with a cross-sectional approach, samples from 63 implementing nurses and 63 of the nursing care documentation obtained by using proportionate random sampling technique. The results showed the highest proportion were age &lt;35 years (73.02%), women (93.65%) with vocational education (95.24%), Length of employment ≥2 years (96.83%) with permanent employee status (95.24%) and most of the nurse disobedience in documenting the nursing care (98.41%). There was no correlation among Age (p-value = 0.270), Gender, Education, Length of employment, Staffing Status (p-value = 1.000). The researcher suggested that the Palembang Islamic Hospital to conduct a review of the nursing care format form and SPO the nursing care documentation including the SPO implementation, then conduct periodic internal audits, provide training or include nurses in training in filling the nursing care documentation used in the Palembang Islamic Hospital that also needs to be done, as well as optimizing the reward and punishment system for nurses related to the implementation of the nursing care documentation.

STATUS NUTRISI BERPENGARUH TERHADAP KUANTITAS TIDUR PADA LANSIA Sunardi Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan, Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah 65145e-mail: [email protected] ABSTRAK Umur harapan hidup penduduk Indonesia mencapai 65,1 tahun, dan berakibat peningkatan jumlah penduduk lanjut usia 8,48%. Status nutrisi lanjut usia semakin menurun seiring dengan degenerasi fungsi organ akibat proses menua. Kuantitas tidur lanjut usia mengalami perubahan akibat episode tidur REM  cenderung memendek, terjadi penurunan yang progresif pada tahap tidur NREM 3 dan 4, lebih sering terbangun di malam hari, dan membutuhkan banyak waktu untuk jatuh tertidur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah discriptive correlation dengan pendekatan cross sectional study untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status nutrisi dan kuantitas tidur pada lanjut usia. Pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling terhadap 35 lanjut usia yang tinggal di Panti Werdha “x” sesuai kriteria telah ditentukan oleh peneliti. Status nutrisi lanjut usia diukur dengan observasi MNA dan kuantitas tidur dengan kuisioner dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis dengan koefisien korelasi Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tingkat signifikasi hubungan antara variabel status nutrisi dan kuantitas tidur pada lanjut usia adalah 0,01 sehingga p value < 0.05, artinya H 0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan analisis adalah: ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara status nutrisi dan kuantitas tidur pada lanjut usia di panti werdha “X”. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah menindaklanjuti penelitian dengan metode komparasi, tehnik random sampling. Pada Panti Werdha seyogyanya melakukan skrining terhadap status nutrisi dan kuantitas tidur pada lanjut usia. Kata kunci: Status nutrisi , kuantitas tidur, lanjut usia   ABSTRACT Indonesian’s life expectancy age is 65,1 years old, and this causes on increasing population of elderly approximately 8,48%. However, elderly nutrition status is getting decrease along their organ function degeneration, which is caused by aging process. Sleep quantity on elderly is changing because of short stage REM. There is also progressive decreasing on stage III and IV NREM, easily wake up in the middle of the night and they need more times to go sleep. This research method is descriptive correlation using cross sectional study approach in order to analyze correlation between nutrition statuses and sleep quantity on elderly. Samples are taken by purposive sampling  method is 35 elderly peoples who lives in nursing home “X” according to researcher’s criteria. Nutrition status observed with MNA and sleep quantity is measured by using questioners and interview, then it analyzed with Rho Spearman coefficient correlation. Significance rate that correlate between nutrition status variable and sleep quantity elderly is 0,01, there for p value < 0,05, it means that Ho is refused and H1 is accepted. There is a significance correlation between nutrition status and sleep quantity on elderly in Nursing Home “X”. To make further follow up this research using comparative study and random sampling technique for next researcher. Abstract: Coronary heart is a disease that offense to blood vessels and heart attack due to constriction of blood vessels. A high level of cholesterol in blood or exceeds the normal limit can form sediment in wall of blodd vessels which cause blood vessels constriction or blockage. This research object to determine whether there is a correlation between cholesterol level total and hypertension with coronary heart disease in patients who hospitalized in Regional Public Hospital of dr. Soedarso Pontianak. This study was used cross sectional design, purposive sampling technique, it gained 50 people as samples. The measurement of blood pressure was done in heart poly and cholesterol total level in clinic laboratory of Regional Public Hospital of dr. Soedarso by using enzymatic CHOD-PAP method. It can be obtained that 10 people had hypertension and 40 people did not.the average of total cholesterol was 224 mg/dl. Maximum value of total cholesterol was 224 mg/dl and 152 mg/dl as minimum value. Data has been analyzed by using statistical test, Chi-Square, to determine the correlation of total cholesterol wit coronary heart disease, obtained p value=0,024 (less than α=0,05). Correlation of hypertension and coronary heart disease gained p value=0,923 (more than α=0,05), it can be concluded that total cholesterol correlated with coronary heart disease, and there was not a correlation between hypertension and coronary heart disease.Abstrak: Jantung koroner adalah penyakit yang  menyerang pembuluh darah dan serangan jantung, karena penyempitan pada pembuluh darah. Kadar kolesterol yang tinggi dalam darah melebihi normal dapat membentuk endapan pada dinding pembuluh darah sehingga menyebabkan penyempitan dan tersumbatnya pembuluh darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar kolesterol total dan hipertensi dengan penyakit jantung koroner pada pasien di RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak. Disain penelitian  ini menggunakan cross sectional, teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling, didapat jumlah sampel 50 orang. Pengukuran Tensi Darah dilakukan di poli Jantung dan pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol total di laboratorium klinik RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak dengan metode enzimatik CHOD-PAP. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 10 orang mengalami hipertensi dan 40 orang non hipertensi. Rata-rata kadar kolesterol total 224 mg/ dl. Nilai maksimum kadar kolesterol total yaitu 224 mg/dl dan nilai minimum yaitu 152 mg/dl. Analisa data dengan uji statistik Chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan kolesterol total dengan penyakit jantung koroner didapatkan nilai p = 0,024 (lebih kecil dari  α 0,05). Uji hubungan hipertensi dengan penyakit jantung koroner didapat nilai p = 0,923 (lebih besar dari α 0,05), dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan kadar kolesterol total dengan penyakit jantung koroner dan tidak ada hubungan hipertensi dengan penyakit jantung koroner.

Weaning at less</em><em> </em><em>than 2 years of age can cause problems in children such as incidence of infectious diseases, especially increased diarrhea, nutritional effects that lead to malnutrition in children and cause the relationship of children and mothers is reduced </em><em>closeness </em><em>because bounding attachment process is disrupted. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge  and  attitude  of  the  mother  with  the  decision  of  weaning  time  in</em><em> </em><em>Tangkerang Timur Work Area Puskesmas Tenayan Raya. This research was conducted in </em><em>Mei</em><em>-</em><em>J</em><em>uni 2017 and this research using research type is quantitative data with research design  using  cross  sectional.  Sampling  technique  using  Stratified  random  sampling, population in this study amounted to 368 people and samples 18</em><em>4</em><em> p</em><em>e</em><em>ople in East Tangkerang Village. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate. The result of this research is can be concluded that there is significant relation between knowledge with time weaning (p-value 0,000 &lt;0,05), there is significant relation between attitude with time weaning (p-value 0,000 &lt;0,05). Mothers exclusively breastfeed to their babies until 6 months of age and and continue with breastfeeding until 24 months of age.</em><em></em></p><p> </p><p>Waktu penyapihan yang baik dilakukan pada usia anak mencapai 2 tahun. Penyapihan yang dilakukan pada usia kurang dari 2 tahun dapat menyebabkan masalah pada anak seperti insiden penyakit infeksi terutama diare meningkat, pengaruh gizi yang mengakibatkan malnutrisi  pada  anak  dan  menyebabkan  hubungan  anak  dan  ibu  berkurang  keeratannya karena proses bounding attachment terganggu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap ibu dengan keputusan waktu penyapihan di Keluraan Tangkerang Timur Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tenayan Raya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juni tahum 2017 dan penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian adalah data kuantitatif dengan  desain penelitian menggunakan  cross sectional. Teknik sampling menggunakan Stratified random sampling, Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 368 orang dan sampel 184 orang di Kelurahan Tangkerang Timur. Analisa yang diunakan adalah univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan dengan waktu penyapihan (p-value 0,000&lt; 0,05), ada   hubungan   bermakna   antara   sikap   dengan   waktu   penyapihan   (p-value   0,000   &lt;0,05). Diharapkan ibu memberikan ASI eksklusif pada bayinya sampai usia 6 bulan dan dan dilanjutkan dengan MPASI sampai usia 24 bulan.</p>

Joint Commission International ( JCI ) required the achievement of 100% five moment hand hygiene for the nurses who have provided care to patients. The adherence of five moments hand hygiene has been done to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections. The adherence of five moments hand hygiene has been determined by inside and outside factors, and one of the inside factors is the motivation. The research is a qualitative research with cross sectional approach. The number of sample is 153 nurses with the proportionate random sampling technique at the Public Hospital of Loekmono Hadi Kudus. The research instruments used the questionaire and observation sheet. The research showed the result of Rank Spearman test p value = 0,000 with r value = 0.296, positive correlation means that the higher the nurse motivation, the higher the nurse aderence of five moment hand hygiene.

Introduction: Therapeutic communication is communication between nurses and patient.  Some cases and action done by nurses make nurses only focus on the action carried out without regard to therapeutic communication. This study aims to determine the correlation of nurses' workload with therapeutic communication in RSU Islam Klaten. Methods: The research design was correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was inpatient room nurses. Questionnaire was used as the instrument to collect the data from the total 80 respondents which were taken as sample using the purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using Kendall tau. Results: Based on the research show that most respondents stated that work as a nurse did not become a workload of 66,3% and able to implement communication well at 63,8%. There was correlation between nursing workload with therapeutic communication with p value= 0,000. Consulsion: Based on the results analysis, there was a correlation between nursing workload with therapeutic communication implementation. The task rolling should be applied to avoid the workload and to conduct development of therapeutic communication training.

For children and adolescent girls found many health problems, especially anemia. In women with iron deficiency anemia, the amount of menstrual blood is also more. Most women do not feel the symptoms at the time of menstruation, but some feel heavy in the pelvis or feel pain (dysmenorrhoea). Various studies have shown that the incidence of dysmenorrhoea is still quite high, those who experience severe dysmenorrhoea after taking the drug should rest and it is recommended to limit even leave the school or work for 1-3 days in a month which would certainly be detrimental to women in the activity, especially in young women who are in a period of growth and development. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between anemia with dismenorhoe incident. The approach taken in this research is quantitative. This type of research used surveyive design with cross sectional approach. In this research the sampling method using Random Sampling technique. The results showed a significant relationship between anemia with the incidence of dysmenorrhoea in UMI midwifery students where the results of Chi Square test of 9,737 with p-value 0.0001 <0,05. It can be concluded that anemia can cause dysmenorrhoea in young women, so the need to increase knowledge about nutrition for young woman to prevent the happening of anemia.

In the hospital, nursing staff are the greatest number of hospital human resource and the longest staff who interact with clients. Nursing practice standards,  include  the  standard  of  care  and  the  professional  performance standard that are use as evaluations in assessment nursing care who carry out by nurses. Performance or work performance comes from job performance word (work performance or real achievement someone has ever achieved). The factors that can affect on someone performance, are individual factors: abilities, skills, family background, work experience, social level and demography factor; psychological factors: perception, role, attitude, personality, motivation, and job satisfaction; organizational factors: organizational structure, job design, and leadership. To getting nurses with good performance, hospital need a leader who can understand the nurses' necessary and can provides good environmental assistance to make nurses feel motivated. This study aims to determine the relationship between room head's leaderschip style and work motivation in the inpatient room of AN-NISA Hospital, Tangerang. The research design used is a quantitative correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study is  organizer nurses in the inpatient room of AN-NISA Hospital in Tangerang and using  purposive  sampling  technique  with  83  respondents.  Analysis  technique using Chi-square test. The results showed that the dominant style of leadership in inpatient  room  of  AN-NISA  Hospital  Tangerang  is  democratic  style  (48.2%). There is a relationship between the room head's leadership style and the performance of nurses (p.value = 0.033) and there is a relationship between work motivation  and  nurse  performance  (p.  Value  =  0.019).  It  is  hoped  that  this research can be used as a material for evaluating hospitals regarding the leadership style of the head of the room, work motivation and performance of the nurse nurses to be able to maintain and improve the performance of nurses.
