This research is based on the problem of the still low social and speaking skills of children, and in general the problem of this research is "How to improve children's social and speaking skills through the application of role playing methods in the MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak?" the following: (1) What are the conditions of social skills and speaking skills of children before they are applied to the role playing method or role playing at the MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak? (2) What is the process of applying role playing methods in improving children's social skills and speaking skills at MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak? (3) To what extent is the improvement of social skills and speaking skills of MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak children after role playing or role playing methods are applied? and (4) What obstacles did the teacher experience in applying the role playing method or role playing? The goal to be achieved is to get an idea of improving social skills and speaking skills of children at MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak through the application of role playing methods. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) to improve the learning process of social skills and children's speaking skills through the application of role playing methods. PTK was conducted in three cycles, with the subject of children B group MA Assyafiiyah NW Penangsak, amounting to 10 children. From the results of the implementation and observations made, there was a significant increase, especially in cycle two. It is recommended for teachers so that social skills and speaking skills are further developed, both in learning, implementation and evaluation of learning. For further researchers, it is expected to be able to make research on social skills and speaking children through other methods.

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

Classroom action research was conducted to grade 6 students at SD Negeri 016 Kundur. The purpose of the study isto improve student learning outcomes with the subject of struggle values in the formulation of Pancasila. Efforts toimprove learning outcomes, researchers use role playing methods. After implemented the method of learningprocess has seen the spirit of students learn because the role playing method (role playing) students directly do thelearning. Improved learning outcomes began to change. Prasiklus is not complete as many as 10 people (41.67%),complete as many as 14 people (58.33%). In the first cycle, the result of study was increased by 7 people (29,83%)and complete 17 people (70,83%). In cycle II. All students have completed the learning process with a total of 24people (100%). So it can be concluded that the role playing method (role playing) can improve the learningoutcomes of Civics students class VI SD Negeri 016 Kundur.

AbstractThe aims of this research is to get information and data about the effort ti increase children’s social skills in grade B kindergarten through playing method of traditional games in PAUD Yasporbi Kota Bengkulu. Research method used action research method. This method conduced in two cycles according to Kemmis and Taggart model which consist of 4 stages (plan, action, observation and reflection). Data collecting tecniques used field notes, interview, documentation and observation. Research subject was taken from 10 children of 5-6 years old. The result of the research shows that children’s social skills through playing method of traditional games could increase of grade B kindergarten. Analysis of data obtained from the comparison between pre-percentage increase which showed from pre-intervency the class avarage is 47,70% up to 79,79% at posttest result. Keywords: social skills, traditional games.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi dan data tentang upaya meningkatkan  keterampilan sosial melalui permainan tradisional bengkulu di PAUD Yasporbi Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang dignakan adalah metode Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refeksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 10 anak berusia 5 -6 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan sosial anak PAUD kelas B melalui metode permainan tradisional sebesar 47,79% dari praintervensi rata-rata kelas dan 79,79% pada hasil posttest.Kata kunci: Keterampilan sosial, permainan tradisonal.

This research focuses on the use of the Snake and Ladder Board Game in teaching speaking to the tenth grade students at SMA Kristen Mercusuar Kupang. This research aims at finding out the appropriate way of teaching speaking by using snake and ladder board game for students in the tenth grade students at SMA Kristen Mercusuar Kupang..This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of the research is the tenth grade students at SMA Kristen Mercusuar Kupang.. The procedure of the research applied two cycles namely cycle I and cycle II.  Every single cycle had fourth steps namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The result of this research shown that there were significant developments on students speaking skill at the tenth grade students at SMA Kristen Mercusuar Kupang after conducting the treatments through snake and ladder board game. In which the score of a cycle 1 am 43,06 and the score of cycle II is 71,88. It means that the snake and ladder board game is an appropriate way to improve the students` speaking skills. In addition, the researcher found the result of the observation that almost all of the students gave positive responses, such as they gave attention seriously in learning process, they had been more active than before, make them happy and  enjoy the  class,  and  of  course  they could  improve  their  speaking toward snake and ladder board game in improving speaking skill

The implementation of Role PlayingLearning Model to improve the Language Skill of Early Chilhood in Grup B class at KartikaVI-15 Kindergarten Biak. The purpose of the research is to know the improvement of the language skill of early childhood at Kartika VI-15 Kindergarten Biak by conducting the RolePlaying Learning Model. The research method is Classroom Action Research. The data are collected by: (a) observation sheets; (b) interview of early childhood’s language skill; and (c) recording the learning process which is involved the communication the teachers and the learners to know the improvement of early childhood’s language skill. Based on the result of the cycle I, most of the early childhood leaners can already do the activity well, however have not reached the indicator percentage which is 75% that if the early childhood learners reach the score of Growing as Expected and Growing well. While, the result of cycle II evaluation, 95% has been reached by 19 early childhood learners, therefore general the result showed that program of a series impelementation of learning in improving early childhood’s language skill through Role Playing Learning Model in Kartika VI-15 Kindergarten has been completed and achieved the research target which is 75% of success indicator.

School action research is a research that aims to improve learning methods and improve the results of the learning process in schools. This research was conducted at SDN 12 Bantan, Kecamatan Bantan, Kabupaten Bengkalis. The subject of this research was the teachers at SDN 12 Bantan. This research method was a descriptive method aiming to explain or describe the facts found in the field. The approach taken in this study was observational supervision which functioned to monitor and improve the teachers ability in the learning process in order to achieve the objectives of the learning. The results showed an increase in teachers’ activity during the learning process in the first cycle of the first meeting with the percentage of 62% with fairly good category. Then, in the first cycle at the second meeting, the percentage of teacher activity during the learning process increased to 64% which was still in fairly good category. Therefore, it was continued to learning reflection in the second cycle of the third meeting, and the percentage of teachers’ activity in the learning process was 88% with very good category. After that, it was continued to the fourth meeting in which the percentage of teacher activity in the learning process was 96% with very good category. Then, the results of teachers’ performance observations after the application of learning reflection in the form of educational supervision observations carried out in 2 cycles, it was found that the teachers began to be able to master and understand the teaching materials well, were able to explain the material, and were able to build a communicative atmosphere in the classroom, enjoyed what they taught and liked teaching as a profession, understood students, their experiences, abilities and achievements, used various methods in teaching so that students did not get bored with the old method, were able to eliminate materials that were less important and less meaningful, always followed the latest developments in knowledge. The learning process was always prepared, encouraging students to obtain better results. That meant teachers were able to develop their abilities and were able to apply them well.

The research objectives are to find out: (1) thematic learning planning  (2) implementation of thematic learning (3) evaluation of thematic learning and (4) Supporting and inhibiting factors of thematic learning in Raudhatul Athfal Al-Ghazali Medan. The study was conducted at Raudhatul Athfal Al-Ghazali Medan. The method used is a qualitative research method. Data sources are the principal, teachers and students. Data retrieved through observation, documentation, and interviews. Data are analyzed based on data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Research findings show; (1) Thematic learning planning conducted by Raudhatul Atfhal Al-Ghazali Medan teacher is to prepare plan learning at the beginning of the semester by considering competency standards, core competencies, mission vision and school goals as well as the needs of children and activities close to the child's daily life. Furthermore, the plan learning and reported at the teacher meeting to get input from colleagues and head of Raudhatul Atfhal Al-Ghazali Medan, (2) the implementation of thematic learning at Raudhatul Atfhal Al-Ghazali Medan was carried out with exemplary learning methods, role playing, giving examples, lectures, discussion and observation. The learning method used is interesting to be followed by children, and children can be enthusiastic in following the learning process carried out, (3) evaluation of learning towards thematic learning at Raudhatul Atfhal Al-Ghazali Medan by providing a portfolio, in this case evaluating changes in behavior, children also can experience positive changes in his behavior after following the thematic learning process by the teacher Raudhatul Atfhal Al-Ghazali Medan.

Engaging a fun class creates a positive classroom atmosphere. Research has indicated that if a positive classroom atmosphere is created, students will have better learning and engage more, which means it is one of the most effective and powerful tools teachers can use to encourage students learning. Oral communication skill is essential for thinking and learning. By getting the knowledge of it, students would be able to express information, opinions, understand concepts, and would be able to discuss experience and expertise. The researcher used an Action Research Method. The purpose was to see the improvement of the students' ability to speak up. The subject was 32 students of Accountant Department – State Polytechnic of Malang. The result of the study showed that most students showed an improvement in all four language skills, but speaking skills had the most significant increase.

This research is a Classroom Action Research which aims to improve students' speaking skills by using the Time Token model. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 5 Medan who collected 35 students. The tool used in data collection is observations made during the learning process in order to get the speaking skills of the main students of anecdotal language texts. This study consisted of 2 cycles, namely cycles I and II. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Based on the research, it was shown that the initial observations obtained the following average values: In the first cycle of meeting 1 there were 9 people (26%) who were skilled at speaking, 26 people (74%) were less skilled at speaking. conducted on the teacher showed 65 and observations of the activities obtained 56.87. In cycle 1 meeting 2 there were 18 students (51%) who were declared skilled at speaking, 17 people (49%) were less skilled at speaking. conducted on the teacher showed a value of 67.5 and observations of activities obtained from the value of 65.50. In the second cycle of meeting 1 there were 29 students (83%) who were skilled at speaking, 6 people (17%) were less skilled at speaking. which was carried out on teacher activities showed a value of 75 and student activities showed a value of 73.87. In the second cycle of meeting 2 there were 33 students (100%) who were declared skilled in speaking. And the results of observations of teacher activities show a value of 85, and student activities show a value of 85.75. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that using the Time Token learning model can improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian subjects on the subject matter of anecdotal texts in class X SMA Negeri 5 Medan. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dengan menggunakan model Time Token. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Medan yang berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Alat yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi yang dilakukan pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung guna mendapatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa pokok bahasan teks anekdot. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, yaitu siklus I dan II. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada observasi awal diperolah nilai rata-rata sebagai berikut : Pada siklus I pertemuan 1 terdapat 9 orang siswa (26%) yang dinyatakan terampil berbicara, 26 orang siswa (74%) yang kurang terampil berbicara. Pengamatan yang dilakukan terhadap guru menunjukkan nilai 65 dan pengamatan terhadap aktivitas siswa diperoleh nilai 56,87. Pengamatan yang dilakukan terhadap aktivitas guru menunjukkan nilai 75 dan aktivitas siswa menunjukkan nilai 73,87. Pada siklus II pertemuan 2 terdapat 35 orang siswa (100%) yang dinyatakan terampil berbicara . Dan dari hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru menunjukkan nilai 85, dan aktivitas siswa menunjukkan nilai 85,75. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Time Token dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi pokok teks anekdot di kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Medan.

The purpose of this class action study is to determine the influence of Role Playing in the activity of child learning and outcomes at SD I Haruku School. The method in this research is the method of class action research, based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of Role Playing methods can improve the activity and learning outcomes of children in the learning process. In addition, research results can also be advice as well as consideration materials for both teachers and school to create a learning atmosphere that provides a lot of space for students to engage actively at the time of study, where students are no longer Learn by simply being a listener, but through the application of a role Playing method, both teachers, students, and school parties can create active and enjoyable learning on the subject of Christian religious education.Keyword: Role Playing, student activity
