The ability to innovate and be creative in student learning is influenced by many factors, including learning barriers (internal and external to students). This learning barrier implies student self-efficacy in dealing with mathematics learning problems and working on math test questions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy, barriers to student learning and academic achievement from learning outcomes. Specifically, analyzed students' creative thinking abilities for each selected group for learning barriers and self-efficacy. The population in this study was drawn from the mathematics education students as many as 154 students. Analysis of learning barriers and self-efficacy on academic achievement statistically used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The discussion of the research results was carried out descriptively and qualitatively from the results of the SEM processing and the results of the students' written tests, to provide comprehensive conclusions from the selected subjects. From the population, four subjects were selected, namely the subject with the very unobstructed category, the subject with the obstructed category, the subject with the quite obstructed category and the subject with the obstructed category. The quantitative research results show that learning barriers have a negative effect on student self-efficacy. Meanwhile, self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on student academic achievement. Meanwhile, qualitatively students with learning disabilities in the very unhindered category can improvise creativity in solving problems better than other categories.   Received: 6 January 2021 / Accepted: 11 February 2021/ Published: 5 March 2021

Mathematics is a scientific discipline that is abstract and full of problems that must be solved. One of the goals of learning mathematics is to encourage students to become problem solvers by thinking critically, logically, and rationally. To achieve this goal, we need the right learning method, namely the expository learning method. The expository method is a learning method that emphasizes the process of delivering material verbally from a teacher to a group of students with the intention that students can master the subject matter optimally. To test whether the expository learning method really has an effect on mathematics learning outcomes, this study aims to: (1) describe whether the expository learning method has an effect on student learning outcomes, (2) describe how much influence the expository learning method has on student learning outcomes. This research uses quantitative research. The method used is the method of documentation and tests. The subjects in this study were all third grade students of SDN Tambakrejo I Krembung, totaling 32 students. The subjects studied were mathematics with multiplication and division material. The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant effect of the expository learning method on mathematics learning outcomes as indicated by the value of tcount > ttable or 10.29 > 0.05, and (2) the large influence of the expository learning method on learning outcomes. Thus the results of this study indicate that there is a significant and large influence between the expository learning method on the mathematics learning outcomes of third grade students at SDN Tambakrejo I Krembung. This study intends to provide an overview of the consistency of research results with theoretical and empirical points of view, it is done because many research results are inconsistent with the theory. Quantitative research methods are used to make generalizations using a sample of 14 Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia with time series data collection techniques for 5 years. The data analysis technique used is multivariate analysis using the Warp PLS structural equation model. The results showed that the level of profitability of Islamic banks is always overshadowed by the occurrence of credit risk that causes non-performing financing from financing of the type of natural uncertainty contracts because it is type of financing is a financing that does not provide certainty of results. The results of this study are consistent with agency theory that explains the existence of information asymmetry, and consistent with the theory of mixing that by providing opportunities to manage business to business managers (mudharib/mustyarik) without interference from the owner of the fund (shaibul maal) can lead to the risk of default and thus affect the ability of Islamic banks to obtain profitability.
