The purpose of this study is to describe the slang contained in Novel literature ‘’Analogi Cinta Berdua” by Dara Prayoga’’ Language is a tool used by humans to communicate language in the form of sound symbols issued by human speech organs, Slang is contemporary or easy to disappear and is not permanent, therefore it is rare to find slang that is permanent and long used for a long period of time. The approach used is qualitative to analyze the novel using the content analysis method From the results of the study, it was found that the use of slang in the form of linguistic symbols such as. Yoi, sekarang gue punya pacar!”   From these quotations, researchers can find out the use of slang. The quote is translated into Indonesian as "yes now I have a lover".“Emang punya duit lo, Ka? Anak kos aja”.  From these quotations, researchers can find out the use of slang. The quote is translated into Indonesian as "Do you really have money, Sis? Just kiddos." “Yah, giliran kalah main PES aja kabur. Cupu!”. From these quotations, researchers can know the use of slang. The quote is translated into Indonesian as "Well, it's your turn to lose playing PES, just run away. Geek!” In literary works there are those who use slang as their writing, such as in youth novels, the language is more popular with readers because the language is easy to understand and use in everyday life.

Diamond Shumsher’s masterpiece, Seto Bagh, is a significant historical novel in Nepali literature. The novel made a vibrant debut in depicting historicity in fictional prose in the Nepali context. In particular, the reconsideration of the portrayal of history from a new perspective is relevant. Traditionally, this is considered a historical realist novel. Nevertheless, magical elements are profusely used in the novel. In this study, this niche opens up avenues to re-evaluate the historicity vis-à-vis magical elements. I have adopted Maggie Ann Bowers’ and Wendy B. Faris’s notions and perspectives on the theoretical lens of magical realism to demystify the magic and history in the text. Further, I have adapted the content analysis method to analyze the textual evidences from the selected novel. The main finding exhibits that the novelist has amalgamated historical facts with magical elements like supernatural beings and happenings. Thus, the novel is an example of historical magical realism. This implies that only established beliefs and theories are not sufficient to judge the literary works rightly. Therefore, new lenses should be explored to enter into the world of fictional prose works as such.

Starting from the phenomenon of Indigo children who seize the attention of the people in several countries, including in Indonesia, the uniqueness of Indigo children becomes distinctive for Indigo children compared with other children in general. The uniqueness of Indigo children can be described by authors in literary works, such as novels. In addition, the uniqueness of Indigo children revealed in a novel can be used as a renewal in teaching novels reviewed using the literary psychology approach. The study of psychology in literature is an important thing to do with the aim of developing a way of teaching literature. However, the study of psychology in literature is still very less. In addition, research on Indigo children in literary works has never been done. In dealing with this problem, qualitative research using content analysis method with a literary structural approach and literary psychology of novel entitled “Gerbang Dialog Danur” written by Risa Saraswati was conducted. The result of the research is the phenomenon of Indigo children described by the main character, that is Aku (Risa). In addition, this study also produced findings, namely the types of Indigo children and how to deal with them suggested in the novel. The results of this study conclude that Indonesian literary teachers, literary researchers, novel readers, parents, and the general public can use the novel Gerbang Dialog Danur by Risa Saraswati in the process of teaching literature, especially in the study of psychology.

This research was motivated by the problem of being able to find the values of character education in the novel Gunung Ungaran by Nh. Dini. The purpose of this study is to describe the values of character education in the novel Gunung Ungaran by Nh. Dini. This research is a qualitative research using content analysis method. The object of this research is the novel Gunung Ungaran by Nh. Dini. The data in this study are words, phrases, sentences and discourses which are the values of character education. The data source in this research is the novel Gunung Ungaran by Nh. Dini. The data techniques used are reading novels, marking data related to the value of character education, recording data, making inventory, and classifying. The results of this study indicate that there are ten values of character education found in the novel Gunung Ungaran. In addition to the value of character education, other character education values are also found, such as: 1) religious, 2) Tolerance, 3) Work hard, 4) Independent, 5) Curiosity, 6) Love the homeland, 7) Friendly/communicative, 8) Caring for the environment, 9) Social care, 10) Responsibility.Keywords: Education, Character, Novel.

This study aims to explore and revitalize part of Pakpak Bharat culture, a folktale entitled Nantampuk Mmas which is not well known. The purpose of the study in disseminating Pakpak culture is achieved by presenting a detailed narrative style of the story and an analysis of Pakpak Bharat cultures such as customs, language, folklore, and many others contained in Nantampuk Mmas folktale. The set of data are collected through direct interviews with the locals and elders of Nantampuk Bharat region. The data was analyzed using the content analysis method which is suitable for the qualitative type of data and analyzing interview dialogue. The result of the research found a good quantity of Pakpak Bharat aspect of culture and a narrative text of Nantampuk Mmas folktale. The result of the analysis may be applied as a teaching material, references for literary works, supporting similar research, and so forth

ABSTRAKProses mengadaptasi novel menjadi skenario tidaklah mudah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji lebih dalam karakterisasi, struktur, isu sosial, dan dialog. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) model Philipp Mayring dengan strategi membandingkan isi novel dan skenario film. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengungkap adanya pengubahan karakterisasi asli Anya dengan membuatnya menjadi wanita yang lebih tegar dan tahu tujuan hidupnya. Sementara, Ale yang digambarkan lebih cool pada novel, digambarkan sebagai suami yang penuh rasa khawatir dan mudah emosi. Penulis skenario harus memangkas bagian deskriptif panjang dari novel ini menggunakan aksi, dialog, dan karakter lain untuk mengungkapkan karakternya. Novel yang memilki banyak penggambaran isu sosial mengharuskan penulis skenario menyederhanakannya menjadi satu permasalahan saja. Film hasil adaptasi memuat dialog yang baik dan terdengar nyata, singkat dan membuat cerita tetap bergerak serta terhubung banyak tercipta pada skenario.Kata kunci: adaptasi, novel, skenario film ABSTRACT  The process of adapting a novel into a situation is easy. The purpose of this research is to examine more deeply the characterization, structure, social issues, and dialogue. This study uses a qualitative approach with the content analysis method of Philipp Mayring's model with a strategy of comparing the contents of novels and film scenarios. The method used is a qualitative method. This research resulted in changing Anya's original characterization by producing a woman who is stronger and knows her purpose in life. Meanwhile, Ale is described as cooler in the novel, portrayed as a husband full of worries and easily emotional. The screenwriter should trim down the long descriptive part of the novel using action, dialogue, and other characters to reveal the characters. In a novel that has many social problems that occur, it requires the screenwriter to be one problem only. Good dialogue that sounds real, is short and keeps the story moving and connected a lot is created in the scenario. Key words: adaptation, novel, film scenario

FUADI Abstract:This research is conducted base on background, that is, moral less of young generation until the generation should have characters. Novel of Ranah Tiga Warna by A. Fuadi describes human who have specific characteristics, such as character of education. The character is shown on speech, behavior, and story of narrator on the novel. This research tends to qualitative approach with content analysis method. The result of this study is five values of education character  in the  novel of Ranah Tiga Warna by A. Fuadi  there are believing and praying for God, truthiness, smartness, strongly, carefully.Key words: Nilai, Pendidikan Karakter, Novel,  Ranah Tiga WarnaAbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan latar belakang, kurangnya nilai moral generasi muda sampai generasi harus memiliki karakter. Dakwah tidak hanya dilakukan menggunakan media komunikasi langsung. Dengan berkembangan zaman kegiatan dakwah dapat disampaikan  melalui media cetak, salah satunya menggunakan komik. Dengan adanya komik yang bertemakan religi tidak hanya untuk menghibur pembacanya melainkan untuk menyampaikan informasi-informasi yang sangat bermanfaat dan sangat mendidik, saat ini untuk menemukan komik yang bertemakan religi sangat gampang ditemukan salah satunya Komik 99 Pesan Nabi karya Vbi_Djenggotten. Dalam komik tersebut terdapat cerita yang ringan agar dapat diteapkan pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui kategorisasi, sistematika dan himbauan pesan dakwah meliputi pesan akhlak, aqidah serta syari’ah yang terdapat pada komik tersebut. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode analisis isi dengan menggunakan coding, setelah menganalisis penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa pesan-pesan dakwah pada Komik 99 Pesan Nabi sebanyak 99 pesan, yang dikategorisasikan menjadi tiga yaitu akhak, aqidah dan syari’ah. Di dalam sistematika pesan mengandung empat bagian yaitu pengantar, pernyataan, argumen, dan kesimpulan. Untuk himbauan pesan mengandung himbauan rasional mengandung 6 pesan, himbauan emosional mengandung 4 pesan, himbauan taut mengandung 51 pesan, himbauan ganjaran mengandung 23 pesan, dan himbauan motivasional mengandung 15 pesan. Da'wah is not only done using direct communication media. With the development of the era of da'wah activities can be delivered through print media, one of which uses comics. With the existence of religious-themed comics not only to entertain the reader but to convey information that is very useful and very educational, now to find religious-themed comics is easy to find, one of them is the Message of the Prophet 99 by Vbi_Djenggotten. In the comic there are light stories that can be applied to everyday life. Aiming to find out the categorization, systematics and appeals of da'wah messages including moral, aqeedah and syari'ah messages contained in the comic. The method used in this study is to use the content analysis method using coding, after analyzing the research it can be seen that the message of preaching on the 99 Messages of the Prophet's Message as many as 99 messages, which are categorized into three, namely akhak, aqeedah and syari'ah. In systematics the message contains four parts, namely introduction, statement, argument, and conclusion. For appeals to messages containing rational appeal containing 6 messages, emotional appeals containing 4 messages, appeals for links containing 51 messages, reward calls containing 23 messages, and motivational appeals containing 15 messages.

The objective of this research is to acquire deep understanding about social values in the novels Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. The type of research was qualitative by using content analysis method. The data collected through document study and data observation about social values in the novel. The result of this research revealed that social values found and described in the novel Oliver Twist were love values consist of love and affection, dedication, mutual help, kinship, concern, and loyalty. Responsible values consist of sense of acceptance and belonging, obligations and discipline. Harmony of life values consist of justice, tolerance, cooperation, and democracy. The values were found and described through generic structure of the novel by the text quotations. Those results led to implication that Indonesian literature educators can apply Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist directly in the teaching process and motivate the students to analyze the novels.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pesan tabligh yang terdapat dalam novel I AM Sarahza karangan Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra. Pesan tabligh yang dimaksudkan adalah berdasarkan pada Organisasi Pesan, Kategorisasi Pesan dan Karakteristik Pesan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analisis isi deskriptif, yaitu mencaritahu dan mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai pesan tabligh dalam karya sastra novel I AM Sarahza sebagai sarana sekaligus sumber penyampaian pesan tabligh melalui tulisan yang tujuan untuk menggambarkan isi novel secara mendetail, logis, sistematis dan menyeluruh baik melalui makna, isi maupun ungkapan pesan tabligh dalam novel. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam bentuk organisasi pesan tabligh terdapat pesan yang paling mendominasi yaitu Induktif atau kalimat yang memiliki ide pokok di awal kalimat dan kesimpulan di akhir kalimat, lalu dalam bentuk kategorisasi pesan lebih mendominasi terhadap bentuk kategori Ibadah yakni jenis prilaku atau ketaatan manusia dengan Allah SWT yang dibuktikan dengan karakter manusia yang amar ma’ruf nahi munkar dan terakhir adalah bentuk karakteristik pesan yang memiliki hasil yang seimbang antara verbal (pesan langsung) dan Nonverbal (pesan tidak langsung).   ABSTRACT The study aims to determine the tabligh messages contained in the novel of I AM Sarahza by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The intended tabligh message based on Message Organization, Message Categorization and Message Characteristics. The research method uses descriptive content analysis method, which is to find out and examine more deeply about the message of tabligh in the literary work of the novel I AM Sarahza as a means as well as a source of delivering tabligh messages through writing to describe the contents of the novel in detail, logically, systematically and thoroughly both through meaning, content and expression of Tabligh messages in the novel. The results showed that in the form of tabligh message organization there is the most dominant message that is Inductive or a sentence that has the main idea at the beginning of the sentence and the conclusion at the end of the sentence. In the form of message categorization is more dominant towards the form of worship categories namely the type of human behaviour or obedience with God SWT as evidenced by the human character that is amar ma'ruf nahi munkar and finally is a characteristic form of message that has a balanced outcome between verbal (direct messages) and Nonverbal (indirect messages).

Literary works are classified as works of imagination in the form of fictional or imaginary experiences. The messages to be conveyed through literary works must be creative so that they appear attractive to read and listen to, so it is necessary to have a stile from the authorship itself to make his work beautiful and attractive. There are many ways to enjoy, understand and appreciate the work of the author Tenas Effendy, one of which is by studying the Stile of Tenas Effendy's authorship in Tunjuk Ajar Melayu. This study aims to analyze and interpret Tenas Effendy's stile authorship in Tunjuk Ajar Melayu. This needs to be examined because the existence of a literary work can be seen from how the author packs his work so that he can create his own stile from the author's side. The method used in this research is content analysis method. The source of data in this research is Tunjuk Ajar Melayu Karya Tenas Effendy in 2013 which has been recorded. The data collection technique is done by applying the hermeneutic technique. After the author of the analysis, Tunjuk Ajar Melayu by Tenas Effendy has a unique and distinctive authorship stile seen from the stylistic aspect, namely the stile as a pack of thoughts, the stile as a deviation from linguistic norms and the stile as a collection of personal characteristics.
