In the second wave of the novel corona virus pandemic, where misinformation and infodemic are at their peak, data-driven reporting acts as a solution to curb misinformation and infodemic worldwide. Therefore, it is important to analyse the newspaper coverage of the COVID-19 second wave by using models of data-driven reporting in newspapers based on purpose, relationship, data presentation, type, and structure. The objective of this research was to analyse the data-driven reporting of COVID-19 and test models of data-driven reporting in the field of health communication. This research study was based on a quantitative approach, using content analysis research method, and the tool of data collection was secondary. The unstructured sampling technique was taken into consideration which included two English national dailies of India for five consecutive days. Results of this study helped the researcher in analysing data-driven reporting of COVID-19 second wave and testifying these models in the field of health communication.

This study aims to 1) determine the values ​​of Aqidah Education in "Novel MARS How Meaningful a Mother in My Life" by Aishworo Ang. 2) find out the relevance of Aqidah Education Values ​​in the novel "MARS How Meaningful a Mother is in My Life" by Aishworo Ang with current Islamic education. The research method used by the author is content analysis. This analysis is used by the writer to reveal, understand and capture literary works. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are literature study techniques or documentation by examining various writings related to the object of research. The collected data were then analyzed using the stages of data processing, categorization, and data interpretation. After analyzing the data, the authors obtained the following conclusions: 1) The values ​​of aqidah education in the novel "MARS How Meaningful a Mother's Figure in My Life" by Aishworo Ang includes: a) Illahiyat, (a matter of divinity such as about His Essence) b ) Nubuwat, (prophetic issues, scriptures, etc.) c) Ruhaniyat (unseen problems such as spirits, angels, jinn, etc.) d) Sam'iyyat, (problems that can be known through revelation, such as barzhakh , heaven, hell and others) 2) The Relevance of Aqidah Educational Values ​​in Aishworo Ang's Novel "MARS How Meaningful a Mother's Figure is in My Life" with current Islamic education, which is in accordance with the aims of education aimed at improving the quality of Indonesian people, namely humans having faith and fearing God Almighty, this is in line with the contents of the story in the novel "MARS How Meaningful a Mother's Figure in My Life" which generally contains the values ​​of faith, including faith in Alla. h, faith in the book of Allah, faith in the Angel of God, faith in the Prophet, faith in the Last Day, and faith in the destiny of Allah.

This research studied about how the mythical meaning of Banyu (water) applyed in Banjar language based on the lexicon  and contextual source. The purpose of this research was describing the myth meaning of Banyu in Banjar language based on its lexicon source and the function based on its contextl. The research method was qualitative descriptive.The data collection techniques had used  observing-conversation  technique. The frame of work was data collection, data processing, and results of data analysis. The sampling technique that used in this paper was the purposive sampling, the sampling technique of data source collection with considering. The data collection that had been takenfrom January  to December 2017. The place where data were collectedwas at Padang Village, Banjar Regency. The data presentation was using ordinary words. The result showed thath  myth meaning of Banyu that applyed in Banjar language based on lexicon source consisted of  original source, material, and pars proto whilee based on contextual were ordinary and magical, or religious. Later, it was used  as regular drinking water,  therapy water, and  medication.Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana aplikasi makna mitos Banyu pada bahasa banjar berdasarkan sumber leksikon dan  kontekstual. Tujuan penelitian meliputi deskripsi aplikasi makna mitos banyu pada bahasa banjar berdasarkan sumber leksikon dan fungsi Banyu dalam bahasa Banjar berdasarkan kontekstual.  Metode yang digunakan adalah deskrieptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data adalah simak dan libat cakap. Langkah kerja adalah pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, dan hasil analisis data. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah  purposive sampling, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel sumber data yang mempertimbangan waktu pengambilan data pada bulan Januari sampai  bulan desember 2017. Tempat pengambilan data di Desa Padang, Kabupaten Banjar. Penyajian data  menggunakan kata-kata biasa. Hasil penelitian aplikasi makna mitos banyu pada bahasa banjar berdasarkan sumber leksikonnya terdiri atas sumber asal, bahan, dan pars proto, sedangkan berdasarkan konstektual  bersifat biasa dan magis, atau religi. Ada yang difungsikan sebagai air minum biasa, terapi, dan  pengobatan.

This study aims to describe the style of language used by the novel Tanah Langit Merah and the Comet novel. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research data collection technique is the documentation technique. Data analysis techniques are used through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study are: (1) Novel Comet contains a comparative language style of 109 citations, contrasting 39 quotations, linking 31 quotations, and repeating 10 quotations. (2) The novel Tanah Langit Merah contains comparative language styles, 97 parable parables, 117 metaphor quotations, 25 personification quotations, and 1 quote antithesis. (3) antagonism, hyperbole 74 citations, oxymoron 6 quotations, sarcasm 24 quotations, satire 15 quotations, paradox 10 quotations. (4) linkages, 8 excerpt metonemicals, 3 excerpts euphemisms, and 15 citation elepsis. (5) iteration, alliteration of 11 citations, anaphora 4 quotations, and efficiency of 2 quotations. This study aimed to describe the form of tolerance values in the novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The research method which was used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection used reading and note-taking techniques. The data in this study was a novel entitled Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika. The data source in this study were quotes which were contained in the novel. The analysis technique which was used is the content analysis technique. The theory used is the theory of tolerance values found in each text by paying attention to the elements of tolerance values. The results of this study indicated that there was a tolerance value that included in four elements. The first element was to give freedom or independence. The second element was recognizing the rights of each individual, then the third element was respecting the beliefs of others, and the fourth element is mutual understanding. One aspect of character education was a tolerance. For this reason, the results of this study could be used as material for character education. That was because the research results of the novel entitled the Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika were in accordance with the four elements of tolerance values.

This research is based on the development of feminism values in the community. In a patriarchal environment, women have a low position compared to men. Women are subordinated in various fields of life, such as in the fields of education, social affairs and economics. This study aims to describe the values of feminism contained in the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with a feminist literary criticism approach. The research method used is content analysis with data collection techniques read and record. The data source in this study is the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah. Based on the results of the research, in the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah there are values of feminism which include: (a) the value of feminism in education, (b) the value of feminism in the social field, and (c) the value of feminism in the economic. Youth life is closely related to spiritual activity. The phenomenon that is still encountered is Hubbu Ilahi, or the love attitude of Allah SWT. This phenomenon is presumed that adolescents only state and do not know the consequences of their attitudes. So, this study aims to determine the perceptions of today's adolescents on the phenomenon of Hubbu Ilahi. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a survey research method. This study used a purposive random sampling technique to 39 adolescents. Data collection used a questionnaire with the google form platform. Then, the data were analyzed using: data presentation, data reduction, and concluding. The results showed that adolescent respondents stated the consistency of love of the Quran, love of Rasulullah (SAW), love of the Prophet's Sunnah, and love of the Akhirat life. However, the busyness of the world blocks the proven proof of love. The analysis concluded that only 7.7% of adolescents fit Hubbu Ilahi's criteria.

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan ikon, indeks dan simbol yang terdapat dalam novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma karya Boby Julian. Metode penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah teknik baca simak dan teknik catat untuk mencari kutipan yang termasuk kedalam semiotik ikon, indeks, dan simbol, lalu menjadikan data tersebut sebagai bahan analisis. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan Reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan verifikasi. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dalam novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma  ialah ikon waktu, tempat, perasaan, keadaan alam, dan keadaan seseorang. Indeks yang terdapat dalam novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma yaitu indeks  hubungan antara alam dengan kehidupan, kehidupan dengan keadaan, dan segala perbuatan manusia dengan segala balasannya. Simbol yang terdapat dalam novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma yaitu berkaitan dengan hakikat kehidupan manusia sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: semiotik, ikon, indeks, simbol, novel Abstract: This paper aims to describe the use of icons, indexes and symbols contained in Boby Julian's novel: 121 Hari di Shimotsuma. The research method was descriptive qualitative using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were reading and note-taking techniques to find quotations that were included in semiotic icons, indexes, and symbols. The data then were used as material for analysis. Data analysis techniques were performed by data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of data analysis obtained in the novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma were icons of time, place, feelings, natural conditions, and one's condition. The index contained in the novel 121 Hari di Shimotsuma was an index of the relationship between nature and life, life with conditions, and human actions with all reward and punishment. The symbols contained in the novel 121 Hari in Shimotsuma were related to the essence of everyday human life.Keywords: semiotic, icon, index, symbol, novel

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai- nilai historis berupa realita objektif dan realita imajinatif, dengan s truktural semiotik novel Babad Sriwijaya karya Ferry Irawan AM. Pengumpulan data merujuk pada prosedur yang dikemukakan Mayring, melalui beberapa tahap, pertama membuat pertanyaan penelitian, menentukan teknik analisis, menentukan unit analisis, menganalisis materi dan menafsirkannya.Data penelitian adalah semua teks tulisan berkenaan dengan rumusan penelitian yang terdapat dalam novel. Hasil kajian nilai-nilai historis berupa realita objektif dan realita imajinatif diperoleh data, 50 judul, 20 judul memiliki nilai-nilai historis diperoleh 89 kutipan, 38 kutipan merupakan realita objektif. Kemudian nilai-nilai historis berupa realita imajinatif, dari 30 judul diperoleh 342 kutipan, ada 218 merupakan realita imajinatif. Selanjutnya semiosis nilai-nilai historis novel Babad Sriwijaya dari 50 judul, diperoleh 209 kutipan, 418 merupakan penanda semiosis yang terdiri 69 penanda realita objektif, 410 penanda realita imajinatif. Dengan rincian ikon 378, indeks 389, dan simbol 167. Berdasakan data di atas, 40% Babad Sriwijaya mengandung nilai-nilai historis berupa realita objektif, dan 60% merupakan realita imajinatif. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Babad Sriwijaya merupakan novel berlatar sejarah. Kata Kunci: Nilai-nilai Historis, Novel Babad Sriwijaya, Sruktural Semiotik. Abstract The research on the novel of Babad Sriwijaya written by Ferry Irawan AM was focused on the historical values by using structural semiotic analysis. The objective of the research was to analyse historical values which were objective and imaginative reality, with qualitative research method, and content analysis technique. The data collection was done through some phases, firstly, formulating research problem (question), determining technique of analysis, determining analysis units, analysing and interpreting the material, referring to the procedure proposed by Mayring. The data were whole written texts in the novel related to formulation of the problem. Based on the analysis which included the theme, plot, setting, and characters, there were 20 titles in the objective reality out of 50 titles. Then, there were 38 objective realities out of 89 quotations. There were 30 titles in imaginative reality and 218 imaginative realities out of 342 quotations. Based on semiotic analysis on the historical values of 50 titles in the novel of 'Babad Sriwijaya", it was found that there were 209 quotations, 418 were semiotic signals consisted of 69 objective reality signals and 410 imaginative reality signals. There were 378 icons, 389 indexes, and 167 symbols. Based on the data above, 40% contained historical values of objective reality and 60% of imaginative reality. The research aims to uncover the symbols in the novel The Alchemist and to gain knowledge about the moral teachings in the symbol. This research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources in this study are words, phrases or sentences in the novel Alchemist. Data collection method is a literature study method with note taking technique. Data were analyzed using description and content analysis methods. The results showed that the novel The Alchemist contained many symbols. These symbols include: (1) wise parents, who symbolize both negative and positive things. From his appearance, parents can symbolize something bad, but behind his old age he symbolizes a knowledge that is very much and wise; (2) stones that symbolize something hard, not easily broken, and can provide clues to something; and (3) deserts or deserts which can be interpreted as symbols of drought, aridity, unattractiveness, emptiness, despair, determination for ignorance, and also as symbols of devotion.

The ideology of Pancasila as a way of life, the basis of the state, and national identity has a various challenge from time to time so that the existence of Pancasila as an Ideology must be maintained, especially in industrial revolution 4.0. The research method used is a qualitative approach by doing study of literature. In data collection the writer used documentation while in techniques data analysis used content analysis, inductive and descriptive. Results of the research about challenges and strengthening of the Pancasila Ideology in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 are: (1)  grounding Pancasila, (2) increasing professional human resources based on Pancasila’s values, (3) maintaining the existence of Pancasila as the State Ideology.
